Copy of plan figures KP06

Hello
Does anybody knows whether it is possible to copy the plan figures for a cost center/group in 2008 to 2009 with a percentage surchage? I know it is possible to copy figures from one year to another via KP97.

After copying from year 2008 to 2009 goto TCode KP06 and enter your parameters and then select the line items and then select change values button and enter your revaluation factor say 125% and select revaluate button and then SAVE

Hi,
I would like to know whether do we have any scenario like Automatic Plan figures updates at Profit Centre Accounting level when we do Cost Centre planning. The Profit Centre should be picked up by the system automatically from the Cost Centre master.
Of course, here the Cost Centre to Profit Centre relationship is 1:1.
If anybody come across the above required scenario, please let me know how to achieve it.

Note: I know we can copy the Cost Centre plan figures to Profit Centre level by using copy function.

In version maintenance, you need to tick integrated planning....
In PCA, create the doc types for planning and maintain no ranges...
Also, if you are on New GL and you want to use New GL planning, you need to do settings in new GL menu for the same... assign version to ledger, fiscal year , etc
last month there were couple of threads on it .. Refer this link for new GL planning settings

Updating Cost Center Planned figures in FAGLPCP Table

Hi Friends
We are in ECC 6.0. I am doing cost center planning through KP06 t.code and figures and getting updated in GLPCP Table which is a old one. But in ECC 6.0 version it shoudl get updated in FAGLPCP but not getting updated.
Can anybody throw some light on this. Due to this we are not able to fetch the values from FAGLPCP for our z reports.

Your suggestion helped me very much to overcome my problem. Thank you very much. But still I couldn't understand the settings in KPSI, how those are related to Cost Center Credit. It would be great if you could explain thes three check boxes and their relation to Cost Center
1. scheduling = 0 reconciling
2. primary cost not reconciled
3. activity reference not reconciled

Integrated Planning - Navigation attribute not shown for Planned figures

Hello,
I have created a Input ready query to get the actual figures from previous years and enabling users to enter the planned figures. I have created Planning functions to copy and revaluate.
Reg   Account    Actual         Planned
US         123000     $3000         $4000
US         124200     $5000         $6000
I have one more report where it shows the Actual & Plan comparision.
In the Actual & Plan comparision report I have an additional Navigational attribute SIC code to be shown for each account.
My Actual & Plan comparision report should ideally be seen like below.
Reg   Account    SIC Actual         Planned
US         123000      3026         $3000         $4000
US         124200      4325         $5000         $6000
But it is showing as below where it has # for Planned figures and it shows blank.
Reg   Account     SIC   Actual         Planned
US         123000      3026         $3000         <blank>
US         123000      #              <blank>       $4000
US         124200      4325         $5000          <blank>
US         124200      #              <blank>        $6000
SIC Code is a navigational attribute of account. What changes do I have to do to make the SIC code to be shown for planned figures.
Any help would be highly appreciated and rewared.

I figured it out. I didnt assign the navigation attribute to the plan cube in the multiprovider. Thanks!!

Transparent Table for Plan Figures

Hi,
Can somebody tell me from which table I can get the plan figure entered in KP06, on a per month basis. I will be creating specs for customized P&L.

How to copy restricted key figures in query designer ?

hi,
i have created a query in query designer (BI 7.0).
How can i copy existing restricted key figures ? i can't find anything. i always have to create a new one, and then i have to do all the things like 'details of selection' etc.... manually. that CANNOT be, there MUST be a way to copy those key figures.
any ideas ?

Hi Martin,
Restricted key figures can be stored on the infoprovider basis . For which right click on the key figure (left hand side pane ), Select the necessary key figure and assign the restriction through characteristics combination, and give it a restriction and save it . Next tiem when you create query on the same info provider it should appear in the left hand side as readymade reusable piece .

to other team project, am I right?
If yes, as far as I know that when we copy test plan with test results to other team proejcts. It is default that
there just will not copy the test plan with test results (pass/fail) to other team project in MTM.

it's not possible because it requires a tecnical name to a restricted or a calculated keyfigure which are cube level. This technical name should be given by you.

Error during Activity input planning in KP06

Hi,
I received two errors while carrying on activity input planning in KP06.
1) Cost center xxxx has none of the activity types used here (Message: K8102)
2) Activity type xxxx not planned on any of the cost centers used here (Message: K8103)
The activity types and cost centres both exist for the planning period.
Please help me out with a solution.

Ya i am able to enter values in kp06 after i enter kp26.
But i could not understand why i need to first maintain kp26 for this. Is there any conceptual understanding behind it?
In my case, i still clearly do not know the credit side of the cost center. So i will plan for credit side of cost center in kp26 at a later point of time.
But roughly i know how much activity is going to be as input for this cost center. I will be revaluating it later.
Even to enter KP26 first, my input and output activities of the cost center are not the same.
Now i need to enter only kp06. What should i do in this case?

Copy Billing plan from Quation to Sales order at header level

Dear Gurus,
I am using custom routine (600) to copy Billing plan from Quotation to Sales Order.
I used following code to copy Billing plan.
LOOP AT CFPLT.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING cfplt TO FPLT.
CLEAR FPLT-FPLNR.
FPLT-FPLNR = FPLA-FPLNR.
MOVE-CORRESPONDING FPLT TO XFPLT.
XFPLT-UPDKZ = 'I'.
APPEND XFPLT.
CLEAR XFPLT.
ENDLOOP.
UPD_FPLT = 'I'.
I also tried with CFPLA instead of CFPLT.
Using this code all line item Billing plan is coping into header Sales order Billing Plan (Duplicating records). When I save and come back it is giving Express Document error.
I could not able to save document.
Please guide me this regards.

Did you check your copy control routines in transaction VTAA? You need to see if these fields are included in the routines maintained for copy control between your contract and sales order.

Can you copy Classic Planning Applications?

Hi,
Is it possible to take an existing Classic Planning application, and make a copy (or duplicate version) of it? For Essbase applications, this is a simple process in EAS, just right click the application and hit Copy. However, while this method will copy a Planning applicaiton's outline in EAS and nominally show a new application in Enterprise View, it does not actually create another application in the Planning workspace. This makes sense, because the process for creating Planning Applications is not done in EAS. There are two questions I have, and an answer to either would be appreciated. First, is it even possible to make a copy of a Classic Planning Application, in order to allow two different admins to work seperately in two independent applications that both begin with the same dimensions, outline hierarchy, data forms, task lists, user provisions, and initial data set? Second, if it is possible, what is the process, or could someone point me in the direction of where I may find this in guides? Thank you.

I am a bit confused by what you mean when you say "replace SQL repository". I am not very experienced in this area, I am using SQL Developer to access the RDBMS. Could you explain what the steps are for this? I can find the tables that are created when a new Planning App is made, but I'm not sure what they mean, so the more specific you can be, the more helpful it would be.
Also, when in Shared Services, I select the artifacts I want to migrate, and then click Define Migration, bringing up the Migration Wizard. However, after I select the source (which is the Old Planning App), I click next to select the target, and the screen goes blank white and seems to be stuck. I can exit out of the screen, but I have let it load for 20 minutes now several times, and it just stays on this blank white screen, like the Migration Wizard has frozen. Any ideas of what might be causing the Migration Wizard to go blank?
*Additional note: I am also no longer able to check the Artifacts box for Relational Data in Shared Services for any of my applications, and am not able to open up the Tree to expand it. The artifacts for Plan Type, Configuration, Global Artifacts etc. can still be selected.

Hi,
In case you have done detailed planning for your project you can specify whether you want to copy the detailed planning data using this check box.Planning done using cost elements is called detailed planning in PS. CJR2 is the transaction to do that. For more details you can hit F1 on the field and check.

Planned Figures in COPA Reports

While we are able to capture the actual figures in the COPA Reports, we desire to key in the planned figures also in the COPA for comparing the actual with plan.. What are the relevant value fields for the same and how do we maintain the characteristics for entering the planned figures in COPA.
