  • Short Dump while copying Org structure from ERP to CRM

    Hello Experts:
We are trying to copy the Org structure from ECC to CRM.
We have a standard transaction 'CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE' to copy the the org structure from ECC or the IMG path:
    SPRO->CRM->Master Data->Organization Management->Data Transfer->Coppy ECC Sales Structure
We have a multiple assignment scenario where each sales groups are assigned to multiple sales offices and likewise, each sales office is assigned to multiple sales org unit in ECC.
This can be achieved by turning on the enhanced version.
In our current business, even though the sales offices and groups are created, but are not having relavance in the business, hence while running in the sandbox system, we ran the program to copy the structures in the standard mode(default) and we could copy it without issues and create the org units for every entity in CRM based on how the number ranges are defined.
What happens when enhanced version switch is turned on ::
While we turn the mode to enhanced version, The system automatically::
    - enhances the Function tab page in the ppoma_crm  transaction to include a grid table, in which you maintain multiple assignments of organizational units
    - generates an extra dialog box to the Organization tab page in business transactions for you to select the relevant assignment path for the organizational unit
    - adapts the consistency check in business transactions to take into account organizational units that have been multiple assigned
    Risk factor :
Once you have switched to the enhanced backend integration version of the organizational model you cannot return to the standard backend integration version. The system will also automatically make changes to the organizational model version in CRM Mobile Sales.
Also this structure will happen across all the clients in the system,so unfortunately cannot try in a sandbox client also of the new environment.
We are building our development box,so while running the above step in standard mode, the program gives a short dump due to long execution time even though we have the same amount of data as in our prototype system.
Also, we increased the idle time value to a very high value.
When I approached SAP OSS,I was told that it is due to the multiple assignment scenario, hence we need to switch to enhanced version in CRM before we run the copy program ( CRMC_ORG_R3_GENERATE )
I am not quite sure if the mismatch of the scenarios between CRM and ECC could be causing this short dump as we could run it in standard mode in our prototype/sandbox environment without issues even  with the same data volume as in the new development system .
I am looking for help from all the experts if they have come across similar issue and your recommendations/feedback if this can be corrected.
Appreciate your guidance/recommendation on this issue.
    thanks!!

  • Copy back of Prodution Error on Org Structure

Please can any of you guru's out there help.
We have just done a copyback from production to SR2 (QA system) and there is an error with the org structure.
We use extended Classic Scenrio and we replicate the org structure from ECQ to SRQ. (integrated)
All the org structure units appear when you search for them, but there is no link between any of the units, purchasing org units or groups.
The error we encounter when we try to  to select one level up is the following:-
There are "no  objects superior to the current start object" .
Please can you advise if you have ever come across this type of problem or any possible solution.
    Thanks in advance
    Sharon

It looks infotype for the Unit relationship is missing. How did you copy back or replicate it ?

  • PR to PO conversion - Issue from Org structure

    Dear all
I have configured following Org Structure in 4.6C.
Plant: z101 is assigned with company code:xxxx
    another
Plant: z201 is assigned with Company code:yyyy
and centralised purchase organisation is used.
I have created a PR belongs to plant:z101.So its based on company code:xxxx
when I referring that PR to create PO and but entering the plant as z201........ system is allowing me to create.
when I display the PO,its shows the plant as z101 for that line item but company code is become yyyy.............
I really wondering .........how the system is allowing.....
    any suggestions?

i think you have created your companyes by copying the data from company code 1000. so first conferm that you have assigned them same charts of account like INT.
    now, Goto
IMG --> Materials Management --> purchasing --> valuation and Account determination --> Account determination --> Group together valuation area
Here you have to group (cluster your different plants) with the same key like 001.
    Now make a po.
    if not works tell me

  • Logical Database - PNPCE - Hide 'Org Structure' 'Search Help' etc buttons

    Hi,
We have created a report by making a z copy of RCATS_APPROVE_ACTIVITIES. In the Z version we need to hide the buttons on the titlebar of the selection screen.
    Buttons are
    - Org Structure
    - Search Help
    - Dynamic Selection
    - Selection Fields.
Can you please suggest if I can do something from the code ?
    Regards,
    Chiranjeevi.

    Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion. However, there is no title bar method that we can modify to remove the buttons. I have created a Z report Category by copying the existing one and made the modifications.
In that we can hide/display UI elements which are displayed by Logical Database.
    Regards,
    Chiranjeevi.

  • Loading Sales Org structure in to CRM

    Hi,
If we copy the Org Units, Position, job and persons master data from HR then do we have to copy the sales structure again from SD? Should copied HR org structure be enough in CRM?
Can you please explain at high level step-by-step on how to get and configure sales org with positions in CRM? What we can download and what we have to configure manually in CRM?
    Thanks in advance.
    -GK

    HI,
There are many topics about this subject. Use search on sdn.
    For example:
CRM - HR - SD Organizational Model
First decide wether HR or SD organization structure is being mapped, Normally SD structure is mapped to CRM org structure in organization maintaince(CRM)
Normally the structures are borrowed from SD side of R/3 as who knows better about the sales orgaizations/sales distribution channels/sales divisions/sales offices/sales groups etc than the SD in R/3. HR's primary controlling functions are about the positions, roles and idnetification of employees. This data is replicated into CRM as BP in the roles of employees.

  • Transport Org Structure without Org Data

    Hello HR experts,
I have a simple org structure - one org unit, one postion and 4 users assigned to that position in Dev client.
How do I transport this request to Q without re-creating it?
Also, When we transport this, by default, does it carry the data (meaning do I see the same users in Q. if so, how do I avoid this).
    Thanks a lot.
    Alex

    Hello,
    You will these useful.
    1. Note 995771 - System Landscape Copy for SAP SRM 4.0 and 5.0
    2. Within SRM5 you can transport a structure using the report RHMOVE30. This will generate a customizing task. In the selection screen select your root node in the object field and EBP-DOWN as evaluation path.
After the transport in the target system, you need to convert the attributes in reference to a logical system with report rhom_attribute_replace and transaction BDLS.
    3. Org. structure transport via RHMOVE30
    4. Developing a ALE distribution model
    Thanks

  • Q_GRC10: Using ERP - Org Structure in GRC 10

    Hi,
I was wondering if the Org Structure we currently use in the ERP system can be exported and imported / copied / Cloned / transported, into other systems and / or then into GRC10. I want to use this structure to drive my workflow instead of re creating a new one GRC.
    Cheers, Melvin

By this time, I guess you have already implemented a solution.
Long time without connection to SDN and now try to recap.
You can implemente an interfase between your ERP Org structure and GRC10 org structure.
    Kind regards,
      Imanol

  • Org structure in SRM

    hi,
can i copy the org structure of current system to the the other system where we are implementing  SRM.we are in roll out project.
could any one clarify me th ebelow doubts
    1) what are the things that we need to look in to wehen we are in rollout project.
    regards
    subbramanyam

    Hi,
You cannot copy the org structure from earlier company code.
While doing the rollout please  note down the following
    in SRM
    1. Organisation  structure --name
    2. Position  --GM,Manager ,Sr.Manager  etc in that organisation.
    R/3
What is the purchase organisation, Company code,Storage location,
    Material Group etc.
The same names can be used in the Rollout company.
All the process will  be same in the rollout company from the earlier implemented company.

  • Webflow - Assign BOR Object to HR Org Structure

This is posted to the BPM forum per suggestion in the ABAP Programming forum.
I’m looking to attach a custom BOR object to our HR Org Structure; however, I can’t locate the correct transaction to perform this. As well as the transaction I need a little more detail on where in the transaction the configuration takes place. I’ve scoured all the menu options but can’t seem to locate it.
This concept was taught at the BIT601 class in Belmont, CA last month by instructor Micah Wade. It was demo'd but not included as part of the handouts. The concept is extremely interesting for us and we would like to prototype it's functionality for some future development.

    Hi Bryan,
Well, first off, my first reference for WF is always 'Practical Workflow for SAP', published by SAP Press, also known as 'the bible'.  However, I don't have a copy at home.
Secondly, at the risk of touting a different forum's horn, you can always subscribe to SAP-WUG, a WF list moderated by yours truly. Almost 800 WFers worldwide.  If you go to http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/sap-wug you ought to be able to search archives, and also subscribe from there.
Third, take a scenario where you have people responsible for approving something, say requisitions, on cost centers.  The approval is not hierarchical, or based on positions or jobs.  By attaching the Cost Object in table T7791, you are allowed to assign a specific cost center to the person, position, or job responsible for the approval of the requisition.  You can attach the same cost center value to multiple people too.  Then you write your role (or rule) resolution to look like (or call function like)RH_SAP_ORG_OBJECT_ACTORS_LIST, passing in the business object for Cost Center, and the specific Cost Center value.  That would return all the people associated with that specific Cost Center.
    Hope this helps,
    Sue

  • Plan version and org structure

    Dear all,
As the company is planing to change/expand it's org structure, they created a new org structure. Someone said that, we can do future planing in by creating a dummy org structure and once it's approved, we can make it as original and will keep the old org structure for reference. And to activate the new org structure, we need to create a new plan version.
    So my question is,
    1. How to assign/link the new org structure to the new plan version? How can we make sure that the new changes (eg. any new joinee) will effect only in the new org structure and not in the old org structure?.
    2. How to transfer the old org structure details to the new org structure?
    Regards
    ET

    Hi Thomas,
You can copy your active org structure through Tcode (RE_RHCOPL00 - Copy) then in Table T77S0 make the Plogi - Plogi switch as 02 that is your alternate plan version.  Then through PSO0 you can set this plan version.
    Hope this helps.

  • Not able to see hierarchial org structure by clicking on Expand this branch

    Dear experts,
I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.
    Regards
    HKishan

    Dear Luke,
I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.
