Copy package(One to many)

Hi friends,
Using copy package i'm tring to load actual data to Budg_01,selections
source selection-> desination selection
Actual -> Budg_01
inputcurr(all) -> same
R_ACCT(all) -> same
enitty(GLOBAL)->same
time(2010.JAN) -> 2010.JUL,2010.AUG,2010.SEP,2010.OCT,2010.NOV.2010.DEC,2011.JAN,...2011.JUN
here  system not allowing to do one to many(next button is disabled). I tried with 12 times coping same month in source time(i.e
2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN,2010.JAN)
Even then system copying to only one month i.e starting month of destination time selection.
Could anyone share any ideas how can do this? via input form that we have one option.
if you have code related script, can u plesase share?
thanks,
naresh

Hi Naresh,
You can use a script logic to do this:
*XDIM_MEMBERSET CATEGORY = ACTUAL
*XDIM_MEMBERSET ENTITY = GLOBAL
*XDIM_MEMBERSET TIME = 2010.JAN
*WHEN R_ACCT
*IS *
   *REC(TIME = 2010.JUL)
   *REC(TIME = 2010.AUG)
   *REC(TIME = 2010.SEP)
   *REC(TIME = 2010.OCT)
   *REC(TIME = 2010.NOV)
   *REC(TIME = 2010.DEC)
   *REC(TIME = 2011.JAN)
   *REC(TIME = 2011.FEB)
   *REC(TIME = 2011.MAR)
   *REC(TIME = 2011.APR)
   *REC(TIME = 2011.MAY)
   *REC(TIME = 2011.JUN)
*ENDWHEN
I can try to make the script dynamic, if you can provide me inputs on that.
Hope this helps.

  • BPC 10 Copy Package - One to Many members

    Hi all
    The standard BPC copy package only allows you to copy data on a one to one relationship.
    Our user would like to copy a value from a specific member to several other members.
    The system prompts to says "The number of selected members in the source and destination should be the same".
    Is there an easy way to do this without diving into the world of BADI's ?
    Any help or examples would be very much appreciated.

    you can add the pakages in Default package in SAP BC. With this you need to copy node and flow files in /ns folder
    example
    if you want to import a package name : Checklist
    then go to SAP BC installation folder and then go to /server.
    There you will find Default , SAP etc.
    Copy your packages to Default/ ns/
    and then restart Server and Developer, to make changes effective..

  • Copy Exchenge rate from many Delivery to one AR invoice

    Hi all!
    I face with the problem. My customer need copy exchange rate from many Delivery that in one delivery we have different exchange rate for different date. After done all delivery, we will copy them to AR invoice, and customer need keep exchange rate the same with delivery.
    How can i do that because SAP B1 prevent this??? i don't know reason why?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    If the AR invoice date is the same with Delivery date, the Exchenge rate will be the same. However, if you want to Copy Exchenge rate from many Delivery to one AR invoice, you may only have one rate for the invoice date.
    Thanks,

  • Copy of inspection lot results from one to many batches

    Dear All,
    I have a batch managed material in sap & inspection lot is generated for all the batches. I want some of the values of  inspection results to be copied from one lot to many
    to save the result recording time since value entered in 5 to 6 batches are same. please note that product is common for three plants.
    Or I have to do it through Z development.
    Thanks

    First you have to customizing the functionality of Copy of Inspection Results using the following path, where you have to entry the inspection types, plant .etc., where you want to have the functionality.
    SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results
    Then when you are in Record Result screen you select Menu -> Edit -> Copy Inspection Results ,
    then a pop-up window is displayed and you filled in with the inspection lot which has the results and then another pop-up window is displayed to select the characteristics that you want to copy.

  • Package not getting Copied from One Team Folder to Other.

    Hello Experts,
    I am working on SAP BPC MS 7.5 Ver. and while trying to Copy Package from one Team Folder to other ( i.e. Copy Import package from Company Folder to any other Team Folder) via Organize package List,but I am not able to do so.
    The package is getting copied successfully but not getting saved in the respective team folder.
    I have aasigned the destination Team folder, the Execute Access of Data Manager.
    Can anyone pelase help on the same?
    Regards,
    Apoorva

    Hi Apoorva,
    you have to set the destination team and group, click on ok this will copy the package and at the end the save button to apply the changes.
    You can also copy manually from one folder to the other the dtsx file and after you can made it visible via Organize package List by adding the package.

    Debug level Hibernate log excerpt:
    Included in the above description.

    That's not the right mapping for the 1:m relationship in Hibernate.
    First of all, I believe the recommendation is to have a separate .hbm.xml file for each class, so you should have one for Parent and Child.
    Second, you'll find the proper syntax for a one-to-many relationship here:
    http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/v3/reference/en/html/tutorial.html#tutorial-associations
    See if those help.
    The tutorial docs for Hibernate are quite good. I'd recommend going through them carefully.

  • Urgent : java bean having bidirectional one to many relationship

    Hi,
    We have complex requirement in our application.
    We need to copy java bean having bidirectional one to many relationship to another javabean having bidirectional one to many relationship..
    E.g
    Class Basket1 {
    public String color;
    pubic String type;
    public List<Basket1> basketList = new ArrayList()
    Class Basket2 {
    public String color;
    pubic String type;
    public List<Basket2> basketList = new ArrayList()
    We need to exact copy Basket1 to Basket2. We are in trouble to copy List of child because we do not have how many child Basket1 have of same type..
    Can someone help us how we can implement such kind of complex object bidirectional one to many relationship??

    I can't see anything bidirectional about these relationships. What I can see is a couple of BasketN classes that look identical so I don't know why they both exist, and they both contain lists of themselves as members, which suggests some kind of tree structure. Nothing bidirectional there. I can see tat these things can form circular object graphs but I don't see why you would want to do that.
    We need to exact copy Basket1 to Basket2And I don't know what that means. Please explain.

  • One to many relation doesn't work

    I tried without success to get a simple one to many relationship to work.
    The select works fine but
    I still have problems with insert.
    I have two tables on a existing schema:
    1     ANAG (ID_ANAG primary key,...)
    2     INDI (ID_INDI primary key, ID_ENTITA,...), where INDI.ID_ENTITA points
    to ANAG.ID_ANAG
    the two classes are:
    1     public class Anagrafica
         private int idAnag; //ID_ANAG
         private String ragSoc;
         private String ragSocFonet;
         private String codFisc;
         private String sesso;
         private Integer codTit;
         private Date dtNasc;
         private HashSet indis;
    2     public class Indirizzo
         private int idIndi; //ID_INDI
         private long idEntita; //ID_ENTITA
         private long tpEntita;
         private String indirizzo;
         private String localita;
         private String prov;
         private String cap;
         private Anagrafica anagrafica;

    The problem is:
    I create a new Anagrafica object and then I try to save it in the
    database. These are the SQL
    statements that are generated:
    INSERT INTO ANAG(DT_NASC, COD_FISC, RAG_SOC_FONET, SESSO, ID_ANAG,
    RAG_SOC, COD_TIT)
    VALUES (NULL, NULL, 'NATALE', NULL, 971963921, 'Natale', NULL)
    INSERT INTO INDI(TP_ENTITA, PROV, LOCALITA, ID_ENTITA, ID_INDI, INDIRIZZO,
    CAP)
    VALUES (0, NULL, NULL, 0, 971963921, 'via 25 dicembre', NULL)
    Why is the value of ID_ANAG (971963921) assigned to ID_INDI and not to
    ID_ENTITA?
    Regards
    Mirko

    As in the examples in our documentation, all 1-many relations should only
    list their inverse 1-1 relation.
    Also, make sure your object model is consistent; i.e. make sure you'resetting
    both sides of the relation:
    indi.setAnagrafica (anag);
    anag.getIndis ().add (indi);
    Let us know if you continue to have problems.Hi Abe,
    I got rid of the unnecessary extensions and I set both sides of the
    relation as you suggest but I still have the same problem:
    INSERT INTO ANAG(ID_ANAG) VALUES (2088176453)
    INSERT INTO INDI(ID_INDI, ID_ENTITA) VALUES (2088176453, NULL)
    while I expect
    INSERT INTO ANAG(ID_ANAG) VALUES (2088176453)
    INSERT INTO INDI(ID_INDI, ID_ENTITA) VALUES (<some ID>, 2088176453)
    any ideas?

  • One-to-many/foreign keys howto

    I have a situation where I'm trying to assemble a web of data and not make
    JDO mad.
    Here's the structure. I load this data in in batches, with an entry being
    placed in a load history table (H) to track each batch. Each batch
    contains primary (M) records associated with 0..n qualifying records from
    one or both of two auxiliary tables (D, L). All liberally salted with
    primary and foreign keys for referential integrity, and most of the keys
    are compounds, since the "M" identifiers get recycled for each batch load.
    Or, in other words, the "M" key is an ID plus an H key.
    Here's a map:
    H--0..n-->M
    __ +--0..n-->D
    __ +--0..n-->L
    Just to make things even more fun, the primary key of the H table is an
    Oracle 8 "DATE" type, which -- unlike ANSI SQL -- is actually a
    "TIMESTAMP". Kodo is rendering this as a java.util.Date rather than
    java.sql.Date, which is fine, because I need the full millisecond
    resolution. Interestingly, when I altered the schema type to "timestamp",
    load operations failed because the "column value was too big" according to
    Oracle.
    Also adding to the enjoyment, the actual order of presentation of data is
    that ALL M records come in, then ALL D records and finally ALL L records.
    I create my own H when the load starts.
    Now ideally, the whole shooting match will be a single pass/fail
    transaction, but that's for later.
    Right now, I can create the H, no problem and M's no problem. However,
    adding the D's and L's fails come commit time:
    kodo.util.FatalUserException: Attempt to set column "OFAC_ADDRESS.LOAD_ID"
    to two different values: "7/9/04 9:41 AM", "7/9/04 9:41 AM" This can occur
    when you fail to set both sides of a two-sided relation between objects,
    or when you map different fields to the same column, but you do not keep
    the values of these fields in synch.
    The granularity of the timestamps printed isn't making life easier, so I
    double-checked the D record's actual local value
    ADDRESS SERIALIZER A: Fri Jul 09 09:41:58 EDT 2004/Fri Jul 09 09:41:58 EDT
    2004
    ADDRESS SERIALIZER B: 1089380518179/1089380518179 (getTime())
    ADDRESS SERIALIZER C: -1541174818/-1541174818 (hashCode())
    I think I need a clearer understanding of what actions cascade here and
    what actions require manual help. For M, I did a setH(H) plus a
    setHid(H.getId()) and that made it happy. For D's and L's, of course, I
    also have to do a setM(M), where, because of the way the data comes in, I
    had to lookup the previously-stored M based on the M.id plus H.id.
    Now the parent objects contain sets of child objects. In theory, I should
    be adding the newly-created children to those sets, but in practice,
    setting the parent on the child appears to cause this to happen
    automagically, though I still have to manually set the local value of the
    foreign key field.
    I really need to find a good FM to RT. Online (and in the Kodo docs), I
    find a lot about setting up the XML for one-to-many mapping, but the Java
    coding side is taken as obvious. Regrettably, few things are obvious to me.
    I suppose I should excerpt the schema just for completeness:

    Hi Greg,
    I'm just using the unmodified schema-to-mapping output. The one thing that
    might be unusual is that I've broken up related tables into discrete

    Here it is:

    Could you send the your mapping information corresponding to the class that

  • Error data file is empty in standard Copy package

    Hi,
    We have an appset that consists of four applications and we can't successfully run Data Manager Copy package in one of them. It launches the following tasks: Dump, Convert (execution fails in this step with error "Data file is empty") and Load. SSIS configuration in BIDS is defined by default and we haven't set any parameter.
    We have figured out this error appears when we select any member of a dimension in "COPYMOVEINPUT" prompt except for Time dimension. Previously there was a custom Copy package based on standard BPC and it only filters by Time dimension. Perhaps this error is related to application configuration to run custom package.
    We show code:

  • Copying Packaging Spec

    When I am copying packaging spec, the fields  'Category', 'Sub-Category' & 'Group' are getting copied over, however the fields under 'Available UOM', 'UOM Conversions' and Cross Reference' are not getting copied, whether I choose to keep the copied Spec linked to the Template or not. [Both the Spec copied from and the Template used has those UOM/Cross reference fields defined] . Aren't those UOM/Cross reference fields suppose to be copied over to the new Spec?  When I create a new Spec from Template, system brings over all fields [UOM/Cross reference etc.] from Template, so I was expecting the same behavior while copying too, since I am linking to the Template during the copying process. Can someone shed some light on this issue please?

    I believe that the functional use cases are different. When you are copying from a Template, you are not copying a real existing specification - rather, you are creating a spec with values that should be there by default. These values from a template are typically not meant to be specific to one single specification, but rather to a grouping/classification of specs. Perhaps a Beverage type specification, created from a Beverage template, would have certain Available UOMs that a Sauce specification would not. Cross References on a template may be used for pack size purposes, which may also be specific to a template.
    When you copy an existing specification, the assumption is that the specification is linked to some external system(s) using the cross references - if those were copied over, you could have an possible discrepancy. Also, since you are doing a copy and not a new revision, we assumed the UOM info would be different so is is cleared out.

  • Aggregate one-to-many relationship problem

    Hello,
    After migrating from Toplink 9i I've stumbled across a problem with our aggregate objects.
    Toplink Workbench reports no errors and generates a nice XML but in runtime I get this error whenever a aggregate function is used.
    [TopLink fin]: 2008.02.13 03:18:11.552--ServerSession(12626425)--Connection(29948747)--Thread(Thread[main,5,main])--SELECT DISTINCT t0.NPL_PACK_ID, t0.NPL_ID FROM NPL_MEDPROD t3, FASS_MEDPROD t2, NPL_MEDPROD t1, NPL_PACKAGE t0 WHERE (((t0.NPL_ID = t1._Presentation->NPL_ID_IN_REFERENCE_NPL_PACKAGE_NPL_MEDPROD_Test) AND ((t1.NPL_ID = t2.NPL_ID) AND (t3.NPL_ID LIKE '19750613000031%'))) AND (t3.NPL_ID = t2.NPL_ID))

    I belive that problem resides in this clause :
    t1._Presentation->NPL_ID_IN_REFERENCE_NPL_PACKAGE_NPL_MEDPROD_Test
    I've created a small test project with just a couple of classes but the same aggregate problem occurs which has let me to believe the problem does not come from the migrating process which was my first guess. If anyone could help me discover what I am doing wrong it would be very appreciated. Below is my test project output.

    The issue is in the one-to-many mapping in the aggregate,

    Anyway the easiest workaround is to either edit the XML and change the NPL_ID_IN_REFERENCE_NPL_PACKAGE_NPL_MEDPROD_Test column name to what it should be, or define a descriptor amendment method to define the one-to-many mapping with the correct field names.
