Copy & paste problem in photoshot CC

Hello,
we have a problem whit photoshop cc and Yosemite system.
The function copy & paste does not work more.
If I try to copy text from pdf(whit editable text) or Preview (with editable text), in a fist moment it copy it, but when i try to copy in photoshop, the program take the command but a few second later it makes to see the message " the appunti are empty or not valid"
Help me please, not is possible that the Adobe have this bug or non solve it

Now you're describing a more specific problem with interfacing between Photoshop and Illustrator. I do not have Illustrator or even Acrobat. You could use my way and use Acrobat Reader. If the PDF is not locked it can copy text to the clipboard and that text can be pasted into Photoshop CC 2014 text tool as my append showed.
As I wrote I don't have Illustrator perhaps there are ways to copy layers between it and Photoshop like Photoshop can duplicate layers from one document into an other document. Maybe drag and drop layers between Illustrator and Photoshop. I use a PC so I don't know what bugs there may be in Mac OS versions. Or how they may effect Adobe applications versions.. There are usually more then one way to do things in Photoshop.

Click 2 call and excel copy/paste problems

Recent posts from late May claim that the click to call issues were resolved in late may. Today is June 21/12 and I resolved the problem yesterday by un-installing the click to call program. Prior to that cut and copy requests were losing the marquee around copied cells and when target cells were right clicked the context menu did not include Insert Copied cells.
Some problems may have been addressed but the problem still exists. It's too bad because click to call was a good feature.

Copy & Paste problem stops working

I've been experiencing an unusual issue with the copy and paste function on my MacBook Pro. The copy & paste function appears to work fine after I've restarted the computer, but after a short period (can be hours or days) the copy & paste function stops working. Instead of copying the highlighted section (usually I'm copying text) when I go to paste the text, all I appear to get is one space. As I use this feature countless time in the run of a day (copying from mail, Daylite, NeoOffice, Text Edit...)this is turning out to be very annoying.
I have recently re-installed "MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.11Intel.dmg" to see if that made any difference, and everything seemed to be working great for about 5 days, then the same issue started again. If I shut down and re-start my Mac, it seems to offer a temporary solution to the issue.
I have not tried re-installing the operating system.

Amazingly, I found this looking for a fix for the exact same problem. Mine started today, though it could have been yesterday as I don't remember using copy or paste yesterday.
The one change I have made in the last 48 hours is that I installed the MS Office SP 1 update that just came out. I know it was working right after that update because I was using copy/paste in Word.
The other difference I've found is that a restart doesn't seem to fix mine. I just restarted and still no copy/paste - just a single space instead. And you're right, it doesn't matter what you copy, it always pastes just a single space.
I've tried CMDC/CMDV and the menu items to the same effect.
I hope someone has an answer.

InDesign Middle Eastern CS4 copy/paste problem

Hey guys,
I usually work on the US version of InDesign CS4 on a Mac... But for a series of projects I need to do for Dubai, I am using the ME InDesign CS4 on PC.
Sigh.
Now, my problem is, when I copy/paste what our translator sent us from WordPad (I don't have Word installed on the PC side ) It is flipping my text around.
Now, I bought the ME version of InDesign to avoid this problem, as I knew it would be a problem with the US version... So what am I doing wrong? I was following this thread (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/450951) and feel like I have the exact same problem that person had, all the way through to the end.
Can someone further help me out? I need to be able to use this... I have to send everything to press next week!! (eek!)

FYI--I am trying to use Arabic.

First of all, you can (should) place the text. Why are you copy/pasting?
Make sure your text is set to use the World-Ready Composer. If the
document started its life in InDesign US, the default composer is
going to be the non-World-Ready one.

IWork(Keynote, pages and numbers) doesn't work well about the issue of copy & paste problem

I think so, too. the Keynote 6.5 is not working well on Yosemite (Mac OS X 10.10.1).
In my case, I can't copy & paste from some program(particularly analysis program in my case) to Keynote.
So, when I check coping & pasting the graph or image and so on to Powerpoint and other programs (one of Office is such word and 3rd programs), It works well. However It doesn't work at Keynote, page and numbers.
Also, I tried to do the following process to solve this issue

Something is wrong with your installation of Keynote
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:
1 delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote by using AppDelete.
2 restart the Mac;   Apple menu > restart
3 immediately after the start chime, press the shift key until you see the Apple symbol.
         let it fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive
4 when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and      click repair disc permissions
5 when complete, restart the Mac normally
6 install Keynote from the Mac App Store

In conclusion, I didn't solve this yet!

Keynote 6.5 is stable and reliable under Yosemite for most users.
As with all new operating systems and applications, a small number of users find a few problems.
Copy and pasting text from and into Keynote from all the applications I have, work perfectly: the applications include; Safari, Mail, Word, PowerPoint, excel, Pages, Numbers, iMovie, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
If you want to place graphics into Keynote, use one of the following methods:
Insert > Coose
click the media button on an image placehoder
click the media button on the tool bar
drag and drop from a Finder window
Copy and pasting images into Keynote is not supported

OMG HELP...Golive CS2...copy/paste problem

it just happened this past week
on the same page, whenever I copy paste a link, instead of pasting the same short link (say to the next page), the pasted ink goes through my local directory.
i have inspector/ basic//source as Relative ...even edit to relative doesn't work...
EVEN if i move an image on a page, it reverts to an whole directory link...that doesn't work anyways
did I touch something?

hi all
well i THINK i know what's going on.
i have an external drive that has all my jobs. it may be that the drive is corrupt. i did a disk scan and only found a few minor errors that were corrected.
however, the issue is still not working right.
btw, i did a test and copied the job to my internal drive and launched golive from there...the problem was solved.!
so fyi here's what the links look like
images/web_05.gif...when drag/copy this image, i get this
../../../../ 2008 JOBS/jobfolder/jobname/name/images/web_05.gif
the ../ ../ ../ are suppose to me my drive but it's not seeing it

   1. incorrect clock time.
   2. incorrect date.
   3. incorrect time zone.
When you download an PDF or epub, the Adobe activation records timestamp information from the Adobe activation server. This information is stored inside the book. When you attempt to open the book, this information is compared to your current system information. If your system has an incorrect time/date/time zone, then the activation server disallows the request and you cannot read the book.
Solution ) Carefully check the machine's system time, date, and time zone they should be correct according to your location.

Copy/ Paste Problems...

I can't copy/ paste...when I use shortcuts or use edit/copy it acts like it works but when I look at the clipboard it is blank.
If that wasn't frustrating enough...I am not able to drag any files. I can't move anything on my desktop or within any folders.
I have no idea what I did!
Does anyone have any helpful hints?

Do you use time machine?
If you do then perform a repair of your OSX system. This should ensure that all system files are correct, sometimes on HDD files can get lost or broken. You may need to reinstall the system all together. If this doesn't work then thats me out of ideas sorry.
PS even if you don't use time machine then you can perform a back up of essential files on removable media if needed. Time machine is just easy.

IMovie Going Crazy-- Copy/Paste Problems

When I am trying to copy/paste pictures and transitions from one project to another, iMovie is copying a totally DIFFERENT picture multiple times into my existing project. Also, when I try to create a new project and paste, it doesn't paste anything.
Any help is appreciated.

You can copy and paste video clips from project to project, but I don't think you can paste audio tracks or photos or titles.
If you want to make another version of your project, I suggest that you go to the Project Library View and select your project. Then click FILE/DUPLICATE PROJECT and give the duplicate a new name.
The Duplicate should by and exact copy. You can modify from there.

There is a copy/paste problem with SUN JRE in the application.

Hi All,
The application is desinged and developed in Lotus Notes and contains a Rich Text field , its a web based application and loads with SUN JRE for the applet to gets load in the application. Whenever i tries to do copy/paste from Microsoft word document to rich text field in the application i get a text which is parsed with html tags which doesn't come while i loads MS JVM on the browser.
I tried with SUN JRE 1.5 and 1.6 version , i got the parsingproblem ie text mixed with html and xml tags.
Any help is appreciated!!.

When we right-click a word that is marked with red or blue underline, it will pop up the suggested corrections context menu. It can give you other options, such as adding the word to your custom dictionary depending on the Microsoft Office program that you
are using.
If you want to copy such words, you can use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to achieve the goal. Or, we can right-click the word and then select
Ignore All or Add to Dictionary, and then you can copy the word by right-clicking it.

I want to copy a few words or lines from Safari (a webpage) to a text message or email, but ever since I upgraded to 8.1 on Monday (three days ago), only an old copy (a url I copied on Sunday) will paste.

Tap Settings > Safari then tap to Clear History and Website Data
Then reset the device.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then open Safari and try to copy / paste.

Copy & Past problem

Hi everybody, i'm not sure the question i have is for this forum, but i don't know where else to post it, it should be very ease for you.
Since 2 or 3 days when i want to highlight anything in SAP in order to copy it, the highlighting disappears when i release my mouse's left button. So basically i do this: for example i want to copy & paste a date from one window to another, i press the left button, highlight the date and when i release it, the highlighting is gone ....
I'm sure it's something with SAP session settings, but i can't find it.
Any ideas?

discussed in another thread ... but this made no difference.

Copy & Paste Problems in Logic Pro 8

Hi All,
I'm working with LP8 and was trying to use some tracks from an old project on another newer project. I copied the files, closed the project, opened a new one and then pasted.
I've had nothing but problems doing it this way. I now realize I should have imported the audio files. But, after working on this new project for a few days, I'd rather not go back and start over.
Here are my problems:
1) The audio files on the old project aren't playing anymore
2) Any time I try to listen to a loop in the media browser, it plays through the copied audio track and changes the pan of the track.
3) Every once in a while when I add a new track and record or add a file it plays the old copied audio file through the new track instead of the audio file that is on that track.
Ok, I tried being as clear and concise as possible and again I've found how to import audio files from different tracks but I want to see if I can fix the problem some way before having to start over or do some hefty rearranging.

Hi, in my experience you can always better import the audio files than paste them into your project (but you figured that one out yourselve :))
To answer your questions:
1. Could it be that you've moved you files from the old project's audio folder (cut instead of copy?)
2. I don't know why listening to a file in the media browser can affect your panning information... Could it be that the automation write or latch mode is turned on?
3. Could it be that the old file are still on the track you're recording? So that you are recording on top of the old file? When you record a new file over it, it's hard to see any underlying regions (they might show up slightly with some dotted marks)

Css copy paste problem still a problem in Dreamweaver CS4

Hi all, I know this one has been discussed before, but this is still a major usability issues with the product with no practical solution available.
For some reason no one seems to be able to mark http://forums.adobe.com/thread/209290?start=50&tstart=0 as unanswered, yet numerous posts stating it isn't resolved.
Therefore, I'm starting this request to see if there is a solution.
For those of you unaware, the issue affects Dreamweaver CS4 code view. After editing in code view (usually with CSS files though others have reported other code types) for a little while (sometimes within seconds, sometimes after many minutes of use) and then when you copy (Ctrl-C) the application selects all text and copies that. Usability wise, you've just lost your place in the code (which you may have spent some time finding in a complex file) and what you wanted to copy is not what's in the clipboard. So frustrating.
The issue is similarly repeated with pasting (i.e. you select some text or a place to paste and the system selects all before pasting from clipboard).
So does anyone know of a patch to fix this yet?
