Copy playlist to iPod nano in the NEW version of iTunes

I have watched the video and still cannot understand how to drag and drop a playlist into my connected iPod icon
in the top right part of the window. If I try I get a RED circle which means NO GO. What am I missing?

View > Show Sidebar or Ctrl+S. Your device should be on the left like iTunes 10. Do the results change?
