Hi Guru,
I m creating automatic purchase order from purchase requisition. i m also attaching document to requisition. Can anybody tell me how to copy this attachment of requisition to purchase order.

Hi,
Check note 828709.
Please do the below setting to make the EKPO and EBAN object to use the
new screen,
1. Goto transaction SPRO
2. Select Cross-Application Components -> Document Management ->
Control Data -> Maintain Screen for Object Link
3. Select the Position 'EKPO'.
4. Enter value '1' in the field 'Auth' for the object EKPO.
Do the same for EBAN also. Please do this setting and then check the
functionality again.

Copy GOS attachment from maintenance plan to order

Hello,
we use maintenance plans to create maintenance orders.
The idea is to attach checklists and other documents (excel, word, pdf) to the maintenance plan and this should be copied to each maintenance order. We attach att the moment this documents using GOS.
Is there a standard way to copy document attachments from plan to order?
Or has one of you realized a solution for this requirement?

PRT is Production Resources / Tools.
PRT can be an equipment or a material or document or even a free text.
Simply, it is an object/item that is required to carry a particular application.
There are other benefits os PRT as well.
Comprehensive documentation is available online.
You can attach a document as a PRT by:
1. Select the task list operation & click on PRT push button below operation list.
2. On PRT selection dialog box, select "Document" push button.
3. You will get relevant fields for selecting a document from DMS.
4. Select your document & save.

Audit plan copy without attachment

Hello,
I have to create a template Audit plan based on my old Audit plan .
1) I have tried to create a template Audit plan using template approach , it is copying only
till the Audit QuestionList.
2) After then if i try to create corrective measures using template approach then it is copying the last year attachments also .
I want to know is there any better way to copy Audit plan till corrective measure without old attachments .
3) When i am creating a Audit plan based on my old Dates, Responsible person also get copied .
Want to find out is there any way to copy the old Audit plan without the old Dates and Responsible person field etc ..
Please let me know if you have any better approach to copy old Audit plan into a Template plan .

Carbon Copy wthout attachment

Is it possible to cc or bcc someone on an email that has an attachment without sending the attachment to the one cc'd?

Artman, what you want is impossible and doesn't even make sense. When you send a message, only one message is sent to the outgoing mail server, regardless of how many recipients it has. It is the server that sends exact copies of the message to each and every recipient. There is no way to tell the server that the message should be processed in any way other than sending it. Thus, you must make up your mind and decide whether the message should or should not have the attachment.
If you want a message with the attachment and another without it, then you want two different messages to be sent. What you can do is first send the message without the attachment to both recipients, and then send a separate message with the attachment to the main recipient only.

Can I somehow copy mail attachment from iPhone to Mac?

I would like to use my iBook in work (Im really really tired with PCs). Problem is, that all files I use are on PCs. I cannot connect directly to our work network, nor I can use internet connection here.
I can either use flash disc to move files. But I have other prefered way in mind. I would like to send files from my work PC by mail to my iPhone (thats the easy part using Edge) and then get these files to Mac (not through internet). Is there a way to do it? Through wifi network connection, blue tooth, cable connection? I didnt actually tested it yet, but I dont think Mail in iPhone would for example easily synchronize with Mail in iBook just by connecting iPhone to iBook with cable.

Maybe I should more specify what Im talking about:
I need to move files from PC to Mac and back, so I can distribute them through internal network. I cannot connect to PC with Mac (admin doesnt allow that), my Mac doesnt have internet connection here. I can use the flash drive for file moving, but Im looking for something more sophisticated (if its possible).
I would love to use Mac/PC soft Dropbox, but I cant install anything on my PC (admin doesnt allow that). So I was hoping that:
1) I could send/recive files via mail and get them through iPhone - PC Outlook -> iPhone Mail -> Mac and Mac -> iPhone Mail -> PC (using wifi connection between Mac and iPhone, cable, blue tooth, whatever) or
2) I could somehow use iPhone with its Edge connection as a modem for iBook (which would be totally best, because I could also use "slow" edge connection ,with my unlimited data plan, for web browsing etc.

BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 - Copy Attached file issue

I am trying to create a document with attachment in CV01 using the BAPI BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2.
Here my requirement is to copy the attached files from a document to another document (which I will be creating newly).
I mean attachments from document 1 to document 2.
When I try using this bapi BAPI BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2, what should I give in the docpath parameter.
I have storage category to maintain.
Even though if I pass storage category, the parameter is not checked in. So, it is throwing with error as “Error while checking and sorting”.
So, In debugging , I set to checked in again and ran successfully.
But, when I try to open the attached file in newly created document 2. Getting error as could not be accessed.
Adding one more point is that, the fiel might have been uploaded from application server earlier and they might have removed that file from the application server. So, i should not access this file again trough application server.
Please suggest if I am doing anything wrong.

Hi Prabhu,
Obviously this FM checks the storage category and file location in database so if it does not exist it will give you an error so your above approach will be a correct approach.
Check it like this
** Check in original 1 simultaneously in the SAP Database
REFRESH lt_files.
CLEAR lt_files.
lt_files-storagecategory = 'SAP-SYSTEM'.
lt_files-docfile = 'c:\temp\drawing.txt'.
lt_wsapplication = 'TXT'.
APPEND lt_files.

Copy Attachement in CV03N via ABAP program

I would like to copy an attachment in CV03N to my C: drive. I can do this by right clicking on the file and selecting Copy To. I need to do this via an ABAP program. Is this possible?

CALL FUNCTION 'CVAPI_DOC_VIEW' copies attachment from CV03N to my PC

TS4002 I received an e mail from someone which included an e mail address. when i clicked on the message, the e mail ddress ent to me attached (copied) itself to my own iPad e mail and i cannot delete it or separate them.

I received an e amil from somenone. contained in her email was another e mail adress. When i opened the email, somehow it copied and attached itself to my Apple e mail ID. i'm unable to fix this. Now when try to send an e mail, her's is attached to mine as senders. Thanks

This is not a virus - it simply means that someone has stolen/hacked into one of your friends' addressbooks and stolen all the email addresses. This is standard practice - unfortunately. They then use a legitimate address like yours to fake their outgoing spam emails and send it to thousands of people. My Yahoo account has been hacked into several times; in fact, I am getting spam emails FROM me TO me....
Not much you can do - change your password, but it really is too late since the door is already open so to speak. If it gets too annoying, you'd need to close the account and open another with an impossible to guess user name and password. Or just put up with it.
I only use my ISP's email address for my close friends to try to avoid such things; I maintain a couple of Yahoo and other web based accounts for anyone else. They are easy to replace if necessary.

How do I copy whole farm in 2013 Test to 2013 Production or is this more trouble than worth?

We are migrating from SharePoint 2010 farm to a TEST SharePoint 2013 farm as Microsoft recommend. The test farm is almost complete. The Host Url Site Collections under the main Web Application all use a Sharepoint UAT prefix style name i.e. SUAT<unique
name>. I want to be able to move everything from TEST farm to Production in one foul swoop i.e. Service Applications. How can I do this - farm-backup? Or should I update the Service Applications and restore my Host Url Site Collections without prefix with
powershell script I have or is this more trouble then it's worth.

Hi John,
Step 1 is straight forward; you are upgrading content from the 2010 to the 2013 version. I agree with the recommendation to move to a testing environment as a best practice. However, setting up your pre-production and moving the content there
will save effort.
Moving content and containers between 2013 test to 2013 production is a matter of copying and attaching databases. The trick is the farm level configurations, as they cannot be easily "copied." There are some steps to save effort, for
instance the Term Store can be exported (https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/office/PowerShell-for-SharePoint-a838b5d0). However you really need to plan for building two sets of service applications.
Also, make sure you plan for deploying any Apps or Features between test and production.
There are 3rd party tools to simplify this, my firm has a tool DocAve Deployment Manager. But before taking the plunge on any of this additional effort, be sure that using a pre-production farm is not best for you. This
is especially true if it will be offline until after the full migration.

Delete/display/copy attachments in the workflow

I'm creating a workflow which contains a pdf attachment. This attachment is created or inserted with the start form.
During the workflow I want to delete the attachment and include a new one. Another thing I want to do is attach the pdf document to an other BOR object.
The thing what I have done so far but didn't work:
I created an activity which moves the attachment to a method so I could work or change the attachment. I know their is an automatic binding with the container '_Attach_Objects' but I couldn't see the contents in the executed method when I read it out on the way below
Here a part of the method to get the content of the '_Attach_Object' container.
BEGIN_METHOD DISPLAY_ATTACHMENT CHANGING CONTAINER.
DATA attach TYPE SWC_OBJECT OCCURS 0,
ZSWC_OBJECT TYPE TABLE OF SWC_OBJECT.
swc_get_table container '_ATTACH_OBJECTS' attach.

BREAK-POINT.
END_METHOD.
With the binding SWC_GET_TABLE I don't get the appropriate values in the container.
How do I get the contents of the container in the method so I could delete the attachment on a nice way or to copy the content to a new BOR Object?

The reason why I want to change/delete the attachment is that I create a workflow for a signature registration. The signature is on the pdf form. The signature is checked by employees and if the signature is not correct the workflow goes back to requestor to give in a new pdf document.
The first pdf document has to be removed from the workflow and from the document storage. If the signature is correct I want to copy the attached document to a business object with a GOS object.
