Copy Recorded Programs

Does anyone know if there is a way to copy a DVR recorded program to an external device (USB etc..) ? I can't get a clear answer from Verizon.
This is something that would be nice to do on occasion, like recording to VCR tape. Some times there is something I would like to keep and not take up space on the set top box.
Just wondering.

It's not possible to download or copy recorded files from FiOS without a TivoHD (screenshot). That's a TiVo exclusive feature.
With the FiOS Motorola DVR, the most you can do is copy content recorded from local channels, in realtime as it is played, using Firewire. Verizon not provide any technical support for this (you've got to figure it out yourself), and it only works under 32-bit Windows XP and Vista (as far as I know) once you've installed the right software and drivers on your computer. I have saved many Beyond 2000 programs on my HD-DVR and am running out of room. I don't want to loose these programs...I use them in teaching my college classes.
Does any one know an easy to copy them to a DVD or to a hard drive? If so, please be as detailed as possible.

You have 2 options:
1) Connect a DVD recorder to the Composite out of the DVR. Find program, push play on it and immediately push record on the DVR. Voila - recorded program
2) Buy a Haupaugue HD-PVR (Model 1212). It takes a COMPONENT! signal in and stores it as a 1080i or 720p HD signal with up to 5.1 surround sound! Then they have a program to burn them to DVD IN HIGH DEF! About $210 on Amazon

I doubt you can find a connection to go between the iBook and Sky Box.
Unless the Sky Box is Wireless and you can connect to it via your iBook network settings.
Even then, what playback software would be available for your PPC iBook to play back these programs.
Does Sky even permit programs being copied from their boxes to computers?

Hi,
You can do this by using NACE transaction.
In NACE t-codewe have the application for each one. based on the application output type can be defined, based on output type script and print progrma can be defined.
If suppose data can be read from EDI then we should go for condition records.
So whenever we execute the script first composer checks the output type and then execute the program. in program whenever opn form FM will be populate then script will open first. After that again program till another FM will populate if it then script will populate........like it is cycle proces. Composer does all these things and at last it will submit that output to spool.
Go to the Transaction NACE.
choose the related sub module.. like billing or shipping
doubel click on Output Types
Choose the Output Type for which whcih you wanted your script to trigger
Then select the Output Type and double click on Processing Routine
Then go to create new entries--> Select the Medium (1- print output), then enter your Script and Print Program detls --> Save and come out
Now go to the Transaction (for which you have created the output type)... Issue output--> Select the output type --> Print....
however, you need admin permission. Usually BASIS people do thid configuration.

Can't Watch Recorded Programs from Other TVs

I recently had to replace my Verizon box that controls my main TV. Of course I lost all of my recorded programs. But the big issue is that now I cannot watch programs recorded on my main TV on the other two TVs that I have. Before the replacement I was able to watch recorded programs on any TV. Verizon also replaced my router as I had a very old one that was installed four or five years ago.
Can you help me with the remote TVs with regards to being able to watch recorded programs from the main TV box?

The iPhone records video in the H.264 video codec, which should be included as part of your install of Quicktime. What version of Quicktime are you running? You might check and see if there is an update that you might need to install. Do you have problems playing videos on the Apple Movies Trailer website? If yes, then you might be missing the H.264 codec for some reason. If no, then maybe the file is getting corrupted somehow when you copy it from your iPhone to your PC. I've has instances where a file said it finished copying and I tried to play it and couldn't (I got the same message you got from Quicktime), so I copied the file again and the file worked the second time.

Error while copying Z program to another enviroment

I have a Z program into one client's enviroment, which works fine. I tried copying this program into another client's enviroment, and i get the following error message, while syntax check:
"RC_IN1 must be a byte-type field. (Typ X or XSTRING)."
And this error is on the following form:

Hi,
are the both client environments hav same version (ECC 6).
In ECC 6 version type X is not allowed.
To avoid this problem,
you need to declare the field of TYPE C.
you need to get the value from Cl_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES.

How to enable "Shift-F6" or "Copy Record" feature in custom Forms

I am looking for sample code or setup to enable Shift-F6 (Copy Record) functionality in multi-record block of a custom Form.
If someone has tried it earlier, can you pls share. Or, point me to a documentation which has these details.

Have an iMac & buying a second one, how to copy my programs?

I copied my programs from my son's macbook, no cds, now I want to copy them to a new imac. some software to buy?

The easiest way would be to join the two machines with an Ethernet cable, create a network between the two, turn on file sharing and just copy whatever files you want to copy across.
Or you could join them with a firewire cable and boot up one of them in Target mode (holding down the 'T' key). Again, just copy files across.
Or you could download the new Airport 'N' enabler and use the extra speed to accomplish the Ethernet cable thing - but wirelessly.
If you want to copy all the files across I would use the Migration Assistant in the iMac. Just join the two machines with a Firewire cable, turn both machines on. The iMac will give you the chance to use the MA as part of the initial startup process. It will do a search, find the MacBook and ask if you want to copy the files from it and as they say in Britain, Bob's your Uncle!

Are you are using an audio interface?
Are you recording external instruments... you will need to explain what kind of audio, virtual instruments, loops, recorded audio through an interface?
If you're recording through an audio interface (or the computer's audio input) Logic's plugins cannot stop peaks as Software is -after- the the hardware input. If you're getting peaks recording through hardware you will need to bring down input levels.

Find the solution what i opted. Recording will not work as the failed messages in SOST can't be recorded.
I have find the solution by using FM 'SX_SNDREC_SELECT' and got the Error once.
Using 'perform requeue using lt_resend changing counter'
from standard send the error mails into the Queue.
This solution will be helpful.

Copying print program for sapscript

Hello all,
I would like to customize the print program PSFCPICK which we are using to print a sap script for shop orders.
So I did a copy of the program and named the new one ZPSFCPICK and assigned the copied print program to the list in OPK8. I know the copied print program is called when printing the script,
but no output is coming out of the printer. When I change it back to the original program, it is working fine.
Is there anything I have to pay attention when copying a print program??

Check in this custom program or copied program whether you are calling FM - CLOSE_FORM
The function module closes the layout set opened using OPEN_FORM. The system executes any terminating processing steps for the last opened layout set. You must use this function module to close layout set printing. Otherwise, no output appears on printer or screen.

Hi,
You need to Download the Program first in to Local desktop then upload the same to another server, we can not move the code directly from a server to another server without a Transport request.
but you can call the program from other server using RFC destination, create a RFC for that server and create a function module in the server which the program is there and use the SUBMIT statmet in that function module, then from the other server call this function module using RFC destination

May be you havent copied some include programs or user interfaces linked with this program. The best way to copy any program completely is
Go to se38-> write the program name ->(dnt execute or change it or display) Go to menu PROGRAM -> Copy->it will show you source program and target program name->In Target program Give name what you want to give to new program(copied) like zprogram45->In next screen that it show Copy all Documentations , variants, screens,User Interfaces, INCLUDES ->click copy button-> Give the package name
Your new program is copied and will work same as the source program
Now you can modify it according to your requirements .

Error in copied include program

i copied z program into y program the z program contains includes also i copied all.but in the copied program ( y program) in the includes the following error is coming
REPORT/PROGRAM statement missing, or program type is I (INCLUDE).
How to avoid the above error.

well in every report there has to be following line:
Report Y?????.
AND this has to be the first statement to come.
sometimes that line is not in the main report but in the first include (normally top-include).
as long as this is still the first statement all is fine.
But if you perhaps have now the include for your selection screen above the include which contains the critical line, it wont work since you have other statements (Parameters or Select-options) BEFORE that critical line.
easiest way is to leave it in the main frame programm right on top, above all the includes.

CK11N is a transaction (Create Material Cost Estimate), not a program.
So we need to find out the program name corresponding to transaction CK11N.For this go to SE93, give CK11N in the input field and press the display button.Then it will show the program name (say SAPLCKDI)corresponding to this transaction.
Now go to se38 and give this name(SAPLCKDI), and make a copy of this program using the copy button.It will ask for some function group and all.Give the relavant details.Save it and activate it.
Now you have a Z copy of program SAPLCKDI say ZSAPLCKDI.Now you need to create a transaction code for this particular program. Go to se93,put zck11n->create. Give the program name, save it. Now you got a Zcopy of transaction CK11N.
