Copy  result  to one lot  to all lots

hear i faced one  business senario  i done  settings  copy inspection results to  one lot to another lot  now  business requirement is  copy inspection result one lot to all lots means i have  01 inspection  type  lots  10 i recorded result one lot  then i want to copy to result  all lots in one shot  is it possible  in sap  if it is possible kindly tell solo

No its Not possible.Actually process of the copy of Inspection result form one lot to other Automatically/manually is triggered when you go inside the inspection lot to which it has to be transferred. Then you select the lot from the list from where you want to transfer.
So mass copy is really not possible.
You may have to create the program customized for the same.

  • Copy Inspection Results of one lot to other lots at a time

    Dear Experts,
As per settings made under "Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results" I am able to copy inspection results but still I am not getting what I exactly want. Below are different requirements explained in details
    1. I am not able to copy twice on the same lot. e.g. if a lot has status RREC i.e. RR has been done then if at a later time I want to copy some other results over here then it's not happening.
In help.sap page somewhere it is mentioned that copy is possible if lot has status CALC. I want to have some configuration which I don't know for which SAP should allow the copy functionality with status RREC also.
    2. By above functionality I want to do RR for several lots collectively at a time. E.g. if I have 100 lots then with same quality results it's tedious to copy results for each one by one. Like "QA16 - Collective Usage Decision" I didn't find any similar transaction for results recording(collectively).
    3. Although my results are being copied from one lot another but MIC valuation are not being transferred given that I am not using any sampling procedure. I want manual valuation to be copied to the destination lots.
Any valuable suggestion will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,

    Dear,
it is not clear from your question.
    Please get more details,
In which release you are working?
In SPRO what special setting you made for this special case
Inspection origin is linked with no range/TL type/insp type.
Wher exactly you set this new configuration.

  • Copy the inspection  result  from one lot to multiples lots!!

    Hi SAP expert,
I want to copy the inspection  result  from one lot to multiples lots, currently i know how to setup  the copy to another lot(SAML Response from SAP ID Service ) , but  i dont know to do to multiples lot.
    ¿Someone can help me?
    Thank you

First you have to customizing the functionality of Copy of Inspection Results using the following path, where you have to entry the inspection types, plant .etc., where you want to have the functionality.
SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results
Then when you are in Record Result screen you select Menu -> Edit -> Copy Inspection Results ,
then a pop-up window is displayed and you filled in with the inspection lot which has the results and then another pop-up window is displayed to select the characteristics that you want to copy.

  • Sample results to one inspection lot

    Hi,
Please confirm if the following is possible:
Record result for samples say 5 samples by today and then assign those sample result to one inspection lots after one week.
    It yes then how ?
    Regards

    Hi Sun
First we need inspection lots to enter the results. If you mean five inspection lots results want to enter in one inspection lot. As per my knowledge it is not possible for transferring multiple result values to one inspection lot.
If you want to transfer one inspection lot to another please go through below link.

    hi
    1. if same material per day-one lot
Create a DMR with Reset period 1 day.
Two stage DMR with First stage : Inspection 1
Second stage: 99 skip reset 1 day.
Now apply this DMR in task list Header.
Go to QA16 and set auto UD after Every 30 mins for 01 inspection type.
    Also QCC0->Basic setting>plant level>Insp lot completion>Auto UD-->
maintain 30 mins here for skip & auto ud
this will create first lot every day & will come to inspection.
from second lot all lots will come to QI but stock posting will be done by system.
2.if same vendor material -one lot
in QP01>material Assignment>enter vendor material combination  here.

Did I lose all my pictures or are they just hiding on my com?? is there a simple solution??? I thought I was doing everything right by backing up my old one first... now Im scared I lost everything including a lot of very important pictures.. PLEASE HELP!!

    Restore from the backup!
You password: You have set it! It might be your passcode or you mioght have set it accidentally, so test all of the passwords you normally use. If you cannot get the password you backup is lost, but you can still sync your iTunes content.

  • After recently updating my copy of iPhoto to 9.5.1 I can no longer access my projects; I can see them in the sidebar, but when I click on one of them all I get is a spinning wheel.

I recently update my iPhoto software to version 9.5.1 and since the update I have been unable to open any of my projects. I can see the project folders in the sidebar, but when I click on one of them all I get is a never ending spinning wheel. Any help wouldbe much appreciated.

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.

How do I reorganize my photos on iPad 2?  I need to move (not copy) photos from one album to another.  When I use the copy function to another album, and then try to delete an image from the original album, the system wants to delete the photos from all albums.  Please help.

You can't do it directly on the iPad - the new album functionality basically only allows you to copy photos into those new albums, you can't move them. The way that I think of it as working is that you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you then delete the original photo on the iPad you therefore automatically delete all the pointers to it.
If you want to re-organise your albums then you will need to do it on your computer and then sync those albums over to the iPad

  • Everytime I copy pages from one ID CS3 doc to another, it re-applies the master page objects!!

    Please Help,
This is a topic I would really like to get to the bottom of.
We have InDesign CS3 templates for creating our reports.
These templates contain around 10 different master pages with grey placeholder image boxes and text boxes with dummy text.
When we copy pages from one ID document to another, all the master page objects that were originally assigned to the pages are re-applied!!
Resulting in lots of grey dummy boxes and text boxes re-appearing on top of the page items!!
It's so annoying because we always customise the pages once we've pulled down master pages to work on, so when we copy pages across to other documents we have to apply the blank master to be able to kick out all the master objects easily.  Then we need to add the page numbers and footers back onto the blank master page.
My question is, is there a way to switch this off, so when I move or copy pages from one document to another, nothing happens relating to master page objects, the pages simply just copy across as they are?
Please help!  If not I may have to ask an external developer to write a script to fix this, it drives 900 of us crazy!
thanks in advance for any help.
Or am I just being ridiculous and not actually realising you can switch this off, doh!
    G

Just a bit of further clarification on this issue (very few people really understand what's going on with master pages and overridden master page items):
When you override a master page item, the object is moved to a local page, but a connection is maintained with the original master page item. This a) allows for the override to be removed (and return the object to its original state). This also, b) allows for changes made to the original master page item (other than the changes made to the local item from the point that it was overridden) to effect the local item as well.
When the connection to the master page item cannot be maintained, the local item gets disconnected totally from the master page, and becomes a regular, run-of-the-mill page item.
In light of this, there's three ways you can end up with duplicate master items:
Reapplying a master page (or applying a new one). When you reapply a master, all overridden master page items get detached from the master, and the original mster page item appears again in its original state. Most of the time this produces unwanted duplication of objects. To fix up your page, you have two options: a) Delete the master page item, and b) copying the contents of the original to the new master page item. The disadvantage of "a" is that you end up with an item which is totally detached from the master, and changing the item on the master will have no effect on the local item. The disadavantage of "b" is that it's a lot of work...
Moving a page to a different document. When you move a page to a different document which has the same master as the one originally applied, the master in the new doc is applied, and the effects are identical to reapplying a master page (i.e. overridden objects are detached). If the applied master (i.e. a master with the same name) does not exist in the new doc, the master is transferred over to the new doc along with the page, and the connections to the master page are preserved (well, re-created actually...). The workarounds in case #1 apply here as well.
When page sides change in a document, the objects on the facing page appears.
What happens here is a bit confusing, but here's an approximate explanation:
When you apply a master to a page or spread in InDesign, what you are actually doing is applying an entire spread to an individual page. You can thing of a master spread as an overlay (or more precisely: underlay) on the page with a window cut out to the exact page dimensions.
When the page side changes that "window cut-out" shifts to show the master spread items which correspond to the position within the spread of your current page (i.e. recto or verso). All objects which exist outside the window shift out of view (but still exist!).
When an object is overridden, the position of the object is defined by its location on the local page, NOT its position on the master spread. When the page then changes sides, the object remains where it was on the page (even though the object it's connected to on the master spread moves out of the window of view). A corresponding object on the facing page of the master (if it exists) will then show in addition to the overridden one.
Now remember: contrary to the first two cases, both objects are based on master ones: one visible one and one invisible one.
Dealing with this third case requires much more care than the first two.
The obvious way to deal with this would be similar to the first two, but if you remove the local object and transfer the content to the new maste object, the invisible master object on the non-visible page was actually removed, so when the page sides change again, the object will now be connected to the now-invisible master page item, and the correct master page item will be gone!
The "correct" way to deal with this would be to transfer the content to the new master page item and remove overrides (not delete!) on the local item (which will make it disappear, because it moves back to the invisible page). Of course, when page sides change again, it becomes necessary to repeat the entire process.
If the local object gets deleted, then your master spread is missing objects with no visible indicator of the fact. This can lead to confusion when the document might be edited at some later point in time.
I believe that this complicated and un-intuitive behavior of master pages is part of the reason people tend to avoid using master page items. Documents tend to get messed up in really odd ways... It's a real shame, because extensive use of master page items has a lot of potential for streamlining workflows and saving an awful lot of time. This behavior really puts a damper on really using master pages as templates.
Getting master page items to work the way they "should" was a big part of what I was trying to accomplish with AutoFlow Pro... When the master page items are defined as such (i.e. given a unique name), AutoFlow Pro solves all three of the above issues by keeping overridden master page items connected to the master page items on the currently applied master (and when a new master is applied as well!).
(When I have a bit of spare time, I think I'll write this up on my blog with some visuals to make this easier to grasp...)

  • Copy File From One Drive to Another & Missing Keyword Tags

    Hi,
I use LR 2.7.  I want to copy one file from one drive to another drive with the same file name.  I thought you could drag the file, but it doesn't copy over the file in the other drive, can you explain what I have to do?
Also, I tried to import the folder into another drive, but it doesn't copy the keyword tags.  Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks
    Barb

    Hey Barb,
Well, if you use the Year/Month/Day/pictures_here  format, none of the folders contains a massive amount of folders.  It's not the number of folders that generates problems, it's having them all in _one_ folder that creates slow-down issues.  Imagine if you had a deck of cards; look for one card... you have to go through all 52 cards to find it.  But, if you broke it down into the 4 groups, you only have to go through 13, which is lots faster.  Now imagine going through 15000 instead of 52...
Look at the way lightroom can automatically import by date;  it has several preset formats.  If you pick one of those, then when you import new photos, it will automatically create any missing ones, and you have lots less to do.
Depending on how much work you have already done, you might consider making a new catalog and just importing all of your photos again, and let it create everything quickly for you.
You could save all of your "edit" changes by writing out all of the xmp files first.  But with 15000 files in one directory, this will double it to 30000 (one per image!), but will preserve all of your edits if you choose to make a new catalog approach.
As for combing catalogs, once you have one catalog the way you want it, you can select "import from catalog" and it will suck it into a new one, thus combining the catalogs.  The only problem I can see is that it will import it in the format you already have it, so you have to organize it manually before you import it.  Otherwise, you'll get your old format and your new format in the one catalog (but can then move pictures around if you need to).
Personally,  I'd go the 'write xmp files, create new catalog' approach.  Then just recreate my collections, etc.
But either way you do it, it will take some time processing, as that's a lot of files to start with!
    Ciao!

  • How do I copy recordsets from one database table to another?

I am using the Database Connectivity Toolset, and would like to copy either one recordset or multiple recordsets from one Access table to a table in a different database. I would like to do it directly with the data in variant form, but I can't get it to work. I can get it to work(on a small test table) if I first convert my source variant data to a cluster, then insert that into the other database table. My real database has many items with a variety of date types. Can I copy directly variant to variant?

Is it necessary to read all the data back into LabVIEW first? The reason I'm asking is that it is much more efficient to just use SQL statements to get the data you need and write that directly to the second database. I did a quick Google search on it and came up with lots of responses on what the correct syntax is for setting that up. Using an SQL command to copy the data back and forth is analogous to copying data from one file to another using the Copy file function rather than reading the entire contents of the file, converting the file string to the data arrays, converting back to a string, and then writing it back to another file.
Chapter 5 of the Database Connectivity Toolset User Manual describes how to execute SQL queries.
If you do need to actually
see the data in LabVIEW first, then the only way to get it back into the other database is to convert those variants to LV datatypes and then cluster those values again and write them back out to the second database.
