Copy roto selection to same position in all frames

I am using AE CS5 in Production Premium. I also have moca AE 3.1 that may be a better way of trying to isolate an object using planar tracking. I need to replace an item that appears in the same position on all frames of a clip. This is a previous problem I covered some time ago involving a spiders web that was fixed on an 8mm film gate. As a result, the web appears on the top left hand corner of every frame in the clip. Perhaps a different approach will work. This is complicated because the background behind the item changes such that the boundaries of the selected item become blurred. I will need to further isolate sections of the clip where there is similar background interference, e.g. a background of mostly dark trees in the top left may to be passable. There may be a way I can gradually replace the web with background that appears in following frames as the background moves by using duplicate layers.

You don't. You're thinking in wrong terms here and will work yourself to death if you follow that approach. Instead export a frame, isolate the pattern as a clean greyscale image in Photoshop. Then you can either use it as a matte to punch out the disturbances directly or by creating proper transparency, possibly in a pre-composition by using it as a luma matte on a white solid, as an input for an adjustment layer. Then you can eitehr just fill in the blanks with a copy of your footage that you have slightly shifted in position or in the second case apply effects liek Minimax, Matte Choker and varius blurs to fill the gaps. CC VEctor Blur with the transparency channel as the input will do miracles to "sew" such stuff together. Of course you might also consider RevisionFX' RE:Fill as sort of a canned and pimped plug-in tool set for these kinds of things...

I need to add lens flare to all frames at once - but it needs to be applied to the flattened image. I don't want to have to flatten, click lens flare for each of the 70 frames seperately.

Quick way to select lots of (but not all) frames?

Hi!
Dragging and selecting lots of frames can be very time consuming. Is there any quicker way, like "select all frames on the right/left side of the cursor" or something? To clarify, I don´t want to select ALL frames.

Often you can select a starting frame and then shift select the ending frame and it will capture all between.

Copy + Paste in exact same position

Hi. In PS7.
Have 2 files open with same dimensions. I have a little number on the first file I would like to copy & paste to the second. I want it in the same exact position on the second file as it appears on the first.
I thought if you dragged the layer from the first file onto the second while holding shift key would do it, but it only places the number on the center of the page.
Is there something else I should be doing for this?

I apologize. The 2 files were not the same size. They were off by not much, but not the exact same. Holding the Shift key does work while dragging.

How do I Apply the Same Style to All Frames of a GIF Animation

Making a simple GIF. I have 8 Frames. Each Frame is a seperate Layer. I want to stroke all the frames in one shot. How can I do that?? Thanks

thanks. I'll give some of that a try. I'm assuming I can apply a stroke to all the layers just by selecting them all and then doing Edit > Stroke (I think that's where strok lives, I'm not in front of Photoshop at the moment.) How can I use the "Copy and paste" tool in order get stamps in the same position in different pages (Acrobat XI for PC)?

With Acrobat 6.0 I was able to copy a stamp in the same position (I mean "exactly" the same one) of different pages just by using the "copy/past" tool.
Now I am using Acrobat XI and it seems like it is not possible anymore: I am copying a stamp and I am trying to past it in anoter page, but it appears in the center of the page (or wherever it wants to...).
Does anyone have a solution?

I have a Mac with Elements 9 and 10 the plugins all work fine. I was told that when I install full version of 12 it will find prior versions and collect the info. Well it didn't and none of my plugins in the filters menu show. I did select the same direct

I need all my filters that are working in version 10 Mac to show in version 12 Mac. I have selected the same folder I had selected in 10 but only a few plugins show. I need all plugins to show. The install should have found the older versions of Elements 9 and 10 and setup properly, but the installer didn't do it.

Also, no plugins transfer automatically from one version to the next. You must reinstall them, ditto for any third-party additions like actions, layer styles, etc.
The only thing that a new version of PSE should find automatically would be your organizer catalog and photos.

Every time I try to download an e-book I get the message "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12". Uninstalling ADE (all three versions) along with cleaning the registry does not clear the error. And I cannot de-authorize and reauthorize my new laptop as the de-authorize option is greyed out. Anyone else encounter this issue?

Same position number in BBP_PD

Hi All,
We are in SRM 7.0, during SC creation process, if an existing line item is copy pasted and clicked on Order.
It gives error message ' Position number available 2 times'
In BBP_PD the same position number is there.
How to overcome this error message.

I tried the same process in Chrome and the formatting was lost there as well. It was working before. How do I fix this?

How do you copy a selected area of multiple layers?

I'm trying to create an animated gif using PS and I can't find out how to copy multiple layers. Right now I have 110 different layers and I want to select the same portion of every layer and copy it into a new file without flattening the image. So I want to be able to start, and end with, 110 layers. The 110 different layers are all separate pictures of my desktop and I want to crop out most of the desktop to focus on one area in particular. Is there anyway to do this?

One could delete, select next layer, delete, select next layer … which should be Action-able.
Or duplicate the image and crop it to the intended size.
Or why not simply put the Layers into a Group and add a Layer Mask to that?

My actual problem description as the following
I have a form for production order screen , and this form contain header and details blocks , so the user in the details will select Type Code , and he will go the next field that is Item Code Field search for specific Item Code if it is not exist he has to call the Item Definition Form by using this script

Then when he finished defining the Item , and I assign the item code as the following in the :

But I don't know where to keep this assignment

inside the caller form in which trigger do I have to use when it return from the caller form it should assign the :GLOBAL.ITEM_CODE_VAR to the :ITEM_CODE and the cursor it should show inside the ITEM_CODE , and as I mention it does not return to the same location of The ITEM_CODE when it return from the calling form

Can't select videos for upload. All files are grayed out.

Ever since Safari 8, I am no longer able to upload videos to places like Amazon (for submitting video reviews.)
When I write a review on Amazon and choose Video Review as the review type, then click on the "Choose file" button, the files listied in the file selection window that opens are all grayed out. None can be selected. This only happens in Safari. I can use Chrome and Firefox with no problems.
Anyone else seen this?
Any ideas how to get this working?
I've reported it as a bug to Apple a month ago and was hoping the recent 10.10.2 Yosemite update would fix it but it didn't.

Might be a cookies, cache, extensions, or plug-ins issue.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, from the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Check on Multiple entries in the same positions

Can anyone pls tell me as to how can i keep a check on multiple entries (i.e.persons) occupying the same position?
i mean that if a position is 100% staffed, then there should be an error popped up when another personnel no. is being assigned to the same position.
And if the position is staffed 60%, then another personnel no. should be accepted on the same position only if the staffing percentage is allotted as 40%.
is this an ABAP development? and if so, what all tables are to be referred etc? what is the logic?
