Copy SCREEN Texts
Hi,
I need to copy SCREEN 2000 of MP501000 to Screen 7000.
SCREEN 2000 has Field Descriptions hard written and translated in all languages. Now, I logon with EN langauge for COPYing 2000 to 7000. I see the texts get copied only for English Language. Now, in all other languages also, these texts appear only in English.
I deleted the 7000 screen and COPIED in German Langauge. Now, the texts got copied only in German and, for all other languages the texts appear in German.
One solution is to go and translate the text in all languages. But, too tedious. Is there a simpler way how I can do this?
Thanks,
Suryakiran D.

Download and upload selection screen texts
hello,
My requirement is to upoad and download selection screen texts from one system to another..
How do download the selection screen texts from program to the application server and then upload them on another system. I am writing a bdc to carry out this process...
Please help me out with this..
Thank you,Hi,
Why don't you just transport it? If it is linked you can asked basis to set the transport part and link it. If it is not you can download the transport and import it on another system.
If you still need a program to do that. You can use SAPlink on [http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/SAPlink]. SDN provided such code already just download it and implement it on both of your system then you can copy a program with selection screen.

How to copy link text from links?
Currently when selecting a link, there is no easy option to copy link text. This feature should be implemented to be one of the options in the popup menu once a link is selected, alongside with "Open Link in New Tab"; "Copy Link"; !"Copy Link Text"!; "Share Link"; "Bookmark Link".
This menu option will provide a convenient way to browse through search results and other various links and will add to the efficiency of navigation of web pages.Hi eva88, are you copying from a webpage or from the address bar? If you copy a link from a webpage, Gmail should pick up the HTML as is from the original. But when you copy from the address bar, you need to take the extra step of using the "link" button in Gmail. Due to changes in the Gmail UI, this may be harder to find, but for me, it appears when mousing over the lower part of the compose box. I've attached a series of screen shots showing where I see it.

I want to export all the screen text in a long video to a text doc
I want to export all the screen text in a long video to a text document. Is there a way to do that without copying and pasting each item?
Fortunately, I still have the project ready at hand, so I can cut and paste each text window from there, but I do admire the creativity of your approach. I thought about making the desired document as a collection of still images without the video track removed, but I decided that would be too cumbersome for this purpose.
It still seems to me that there ought to be a way to access the text resident in FCP and turn it into a text file, but maybe this will have to written into the program as a feature. Probably, it would not be a high priority among all the other tasks on the wish list.
Thanks for your help. If I learn something interesting, I will post it for the benefit of others who might want do what I want to do now. Off I go now to cut and paste! -
Key-stroke combination to copy the text of a document position to another p
Hello ,
I would like to Know the way to copy the text of a document position to another document positions.
I know that you can entry the character + , but I think that there is another way , a Key-stroke combination , could somebody give me some information about this ?
Best Regards
OlgaHello Olga,
Unfortunately I believe that it is no other way in the screen directly, only the one mentioned by you.
You can try use substitution (OB28) but then I am not sure if there is one logic that will work for all documents, like for example copy from line one to all other lines, maybe you can define an exit in the substituion.
I hope it helps.

Copy Standard Text into CRM_ORDERH
Hello,
maybe anybody has an idea for my problem: I need an default text in a textscheme in the order-header. I can do this manually, I create a standard text within the textobject "TEXT" with SO10, and in the transaction I can copy the text with help of the sapscripteditor into my text. But, I need this functionality automatised. When I create my transaction, I want to have a default text.
I tried to manage this with access sequence, but I cannot see any possibility with this. The problem is, that the reference object "TEXT", were you can create standard texts, is not accessable from the order-header.
Any ideas?
Best regards and thanks
SabI think you should be able to solve this using Transaction Templates.
This allows you to prefill data on the template and saves a lot of effort during business transaction creation.
You can create templates for different transaction categories such as activities, leads, service orders and so on:
Explanation for a service order:
Definition
The template for the service order business transaction. As is the case with the service order, the service order template is used to map services in the system. A service order template enables you to define and store reusable service descriptions as a useful set of activities, products, services, and materials.
Use
You can use a service order template to reduce the workload involved in creating new business transactions (documents). You create templates for standard service processing tasks, for example. You can:
· Copy templates to create new business transactions with the same object type
· Include templates in an existing business transaction (such as service confirmation or product service letter)
· Create a template as a follow-up document on the basis of an existing service order; business partner data is not transferred
You can copy a template only if it does not contain any errors, has the status is Released, and is currently valid.
The service order template can contain a large number of items and subitems. In the template, you can define a large number of values as attributes (conditions, price information, quantities, and so on). If you create a service order template on the basis of an existing service order, all the items that are not required for a general template, such as the sold-to party, are omitted.
The service order template describes only the scope of services of the planned activities and not the actual execution (when and for whom).
Structure
A service order template has the same data structure as the associated operative business transaction, that is, it consists of a header and items (and subitems) with a large number of sets and enhancements that are valid for the business transaction.
In a service order template, you cannot store any information about the sold-to party. For this reason, not all the functions of the service order transaction are available. You can enter information about the sold-to party in the relevant business transaction.
Three different views of the service order template are available:
Fast Entry view
In the Header Data view, you enter data that is valid for the entire transaction. The top screen area contains the transaction ID, the transaction description, and a pushbutton for changing the status. In the bottom screen area, you can enter an item. You define additional items in the Item Details view.
Item Details view
In the Item Details view, you can enter additional items on various tab pages (Overview, Services, and so on). On the tab pages in the bottom screen area, you maintain detailed information about the individual items, such as statuses and prices.
Transaction Data view
In the Transaction Data view, you enter detailed information about the header data, such as organizational data, actions, and partner data.
Example
- A service order template is to describe the standard maintenance procedure for a vehicle of a specific type. The catalog for the standard maintenance procedure includes services (filter replacement, oil change, engine check) and materials (1 filter, 12.5 liters of oil).
- You use a service order template to plan a recall for a specific automotive category. The catalog for the recall contains the following activities: scheduled appointments with customer, repairs, confirmation to car manufacturer, and invoice for car manufacturer.
- An Engine Replacement service order template already exists. When planning a repair in detail, you have to arrange for the engine to be replaced. You include the Engine Replacement order template in the existing service process (in this case, a repair service order). The system then copies the items from the order template to the service process.
Hope this is usefull for your requirement
cheers

Download/Upload ABAP Programs, screens, texts, etc
Hi Experts,
Is there any standard program or any tool by which we can download/ upload ABAP programs, sapscripts, Screens, text-elements, Webdynpro for ABAP applications to a local file????
The Download to local server option in SE38 just gives a text copy of program without any screens, text eleemnts, etc which is not as per my requirement.
Points will be rewarded.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION & USE
Allows a user to download programs, Functions, DD definitions, etc to the presentation server. This version searches
recursively for nested includes and function modules, and allows you to download the resulting code as standard text
or HTML web pages within a suitable directory structure.
You can either search by object name, using wildcards if you wish, or a combination of Author and object name. If
you want all objects returned for a particular author then select the author name and choose the most suitable
radiobutton. All objects will be returned if the fields to the right hand side of the radiobutton are left completely
blank.
Compatible with R/3 Enterprise only, for older versions of SAP you will need Direct Download version 5.xx.
This version removes the programming limitations imposed by developing across SAP releases 3 to 4.6.
In order to be able to download files to the SAP server you must first set up a logical filepath within transaction
'FILE', or use an existing one. You must also create a external operating system command in SM69 called ZMKDIR. This
will then be used to create any directories needed on the SAP server
This program is intended to allow a person to keep a visual representation of a program for backup purposes only as
has not been designed to allow programs to be uploaded to SAP systems.

Copy long text during creating new assets by reference
Hi,
I would like to have copy long text during creating new assets by reference. Is it place in spro where I can set it?
Rgds, StenwaHi Stenwa,
For the field Description you cen set the indicator Indicator: "Copy field group from reference asset" in the screen layout rule.
If this indicator is set, the screen layout rule specifies that when you create an asset using another asset as a reference, the specified field group is automatically supplied with values from the reference asset.
For the logtext there is a possibility to maintaine a text in the tables STXH or STXL with key ANLA

Can i get a copy of text from phone?
Can I get a copy of text sent and recieved from a phone on my verizon account??
You can only view what phone numbers messaged the phone along with what phone numbers were messaged. That is it though. You can go to your online account. There should be a box on the home screen with a minute usage, text usage and data usage tabs. Just click the text usage and view details. Click view details for messaging. If you want to view the actual content (what is said in the message) you will need a court order to view that.

Selection-screen texts are not shown after transporting to QAS server...
Hello Experts,
We created a custom transaction for MB52(Display warehouse stocks) named ZMB52.
After I transported it to QAS server, the texts in the selection screen are shown
as for example, p_bukrs, etc. When I looked at its text elements, it is maintained
in German Language. My question is, should I translate it to English? And How do I
properly transport it.
Hope you can help me out here guys.Thank you and take care!Hi
Have you created your own Selection screen Text elements
or you simply copied the Std ones
If you have created on your own it should have asked for the request and should have been transported with the request
since you copied them as it is it is not displaying in ENglish language
Translate to english and see
otherwise create them in DEV with a request and transport it.

Copy Header texte into Item text, trasactions FB60-FB50-FB70
Hi,
using the transactions FB50, FB60 and FB70 I need to copy automatically the Header text into the Items text.
Can someone tell me how to do that?
Thank you and best regards,
GiorgiaIn the enjoy transaction like FB60-FB50-FB70, header and line items fields are quite mixed up. When you are mentioning Header text, please confirm that you meant "Header text" field in the "Details" tab screen and not the "Text" field in the basic data tab screen.
Normally when you want to copy the "text" field content in the Basic Data screen to all the G/L line items text fields, you do it through "editing option" in the FB60-FB50-FB70 transaction screen itself. Here in the General entry options you activate the check box "Copy text for GL account enter".
But if you want to copy really the header text in the Details screen to Vendor and Gl items for example, then you have to create substitution rule
Thanks

How to copy screen selections?
Is there native facility in Mac OS X for selecting and copying screen shots or must a third party application be used? I need to do this to copy and save graphics and photos from the web but also to send screen shots of error mesages and dialogs to tech support. Thanks in advance for any insights.
To take a screenshot hold ⌘ Shift 4 to create a selection crosshair. Click and hold while you drag the crosshair over the area you wish to capture and then release the mouse button. You will hear a "camera shutter" sound. This will deposit a screenshot on your Desktop.
If you can't find it on your Desktop look in your Documents or Downloads folder.
If you want to attach a screenshot to a response here, click the "camera" icon above the text field:
This will display a dialog box which enables you to choose the screenshot file (remember it's on your Desktop) and click the Insert Image button.
⌘ Shift 4 and then pressing the space bar captures the frontmost window.
⌘ Shift 3 captures the entire screen. -
I was in a chat box with SKYPE and I clicked on the link to copy the text but it came back with "can't copy because not permitted in your browser"
I can highlight copy and paste from other web screens with no problem.
The chat window however doesn't give access to the lines that have scrolled past the window so highlighting the text won't work. Other chat windows grab the entire text when the user clicks on the copy link or icon.
I just installed firefox and haven't tried other chat windows to see if the problem could be repeated.Use the keyboard if the buttons on the web page aren't working.
* Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert
* Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert
* Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete

Unable to copy/paste text or HTML to DW
Hi everyone!
I'm new to this but maybe someone can help. I can't copy/paste text or HTML to Dreamweaver. I get two different error messages when trying to do so. I am attaching screen prints of them. Has anyone had this problem? There are a number of reasons why JavaScript errors could be
occurring. Adobe covers some of these errors on this page:

Hope this helps.
