Copy Session function in 4.6C (To view another users session).

Hi All,
I recall in version 4.0 of R3 an option called copy session which allowed you to view another users session. This option seems to have been taken away in newer version.
Does anyone know of another way of interactively looking at another users session,

Sometime back I have invested a lot of time and effort trying to do exactly what you're now up to !!
Unfortunately, I have not been able to do it. I have done a lot of debugging and tried to do that in some way or the other, but in vain. The reason, if I remember correctly, is that the code responsible for that action is not even there in the higher releases. That is presumably for reasons of security.

The users have a SSL cert installed with the private key so they can access a certain web site and when they access the site using the Windows 2012 R2 RDP server they are getting prompted with a Windows Security dialogue (Confirmation Certificate) and they

Can you clarify the actual error message you are getting? Also please let us know, whether there is any event log available.
Seems that you have not placed the certificate under Local Computer\Personal Store. Kindly recheck the configuration related to certificate and please keep the certificate under above path with its private key and verify. You can follow below steps for information.
• Open the MMC and open the Certificates snapin
• Add the Local Computer
• Import the certificate into Computer\Personal
• Open the certificate and find the thumbprint on the details tab. Copy the thumbprint to notepad and delete all the spaces.
• Open up an elevated PowerShell prompt and write:
• wmic /namespace:\\root\cimv2\TerminalServices PATH Win32_TSGeneralSetting Set SSLCertificateSHA1Hash=”‎PASTE_THUMBPRINT_STRING”
• You can check the certificate by running:
• Get-WmiObject -class “Win32_TSGeneralSetting” -Namespace root\cimv2\terminalservices -Filter “TerminalName=’RDP-tcp'”

Viewing another users' tasks

I am currently working on setting up the Project Site templates and utilizing the Tasks feature to assign tasks to users. I would like to be able to see another user's task list on their My Site page. Is this possible? Or to roll up all of a users' tasks
in a web part view or something?

The task list of MySite site is a hidden list ‘WmaAggregatorList_User‘ where the user profile tasks are stored.
You can Retrieve user's tasks from mysites using server object model. Here is the code you can refer to:

Viewing Current Users/Sessions Logged onto CMS (Central Management Server)

Hi Guys,
When you use the Central Management Console, click on HOME>SERVERS>CMS:(SERVERNAME) - Under the properties for the Central Management Console you can view who is actually logged into the CMS.
How can I create a query in the Query builder that can show me the same data? I am trying to create a web page that will show me only the current logged in users.
Is this possible?

OK There are a lot of errors in the Log file which relate to writing to the install path and as per below.

How to get flagged messages in to tasks or alternatively view another users to do list.

If someone could just help me out I would be extremely appreciative.
2 of us work in one mail box together called admin. when one of us is away we like to use the flags to create follow ups for each other on certain email items.
Firstly, I can only see my main accounts to do list
Secondly, when I flag a contact / message / anything in fact, in any mailbox it only appears in their respective to do lists and not in their tasks. Thus I cannot see what I have flagged for them at a glance as I can not find a way to view other peoples
to do list. i.e. neither of us can see any of the flags in the shared mailbox we use (admin) unless we log in under a different profile, which is troublesome as it takes way to long to switch back and forth.
I presently use colour categories to delegate who is currently in charge of answering certain emails and use custom flags to note what we are waiting for in particular to a certain email and then mark a tick when it has been dealt with. Simple system but
not currently working in full due to the follow up flags not appearing in tasks.
This also affects my task synching on my mobile where once again it only shows what is in tasks... i.e stuff I have physically typed in outlook rather than flagged content; mails, contacts etc.
Any ideas how to get the follow up flags appearing in tasks or an ability to see other peoples to do lists... the first is more preferable but I will take what I can.

Just add the 'admin' mailbox as additional account in Outlook, as opposed to additional mailbox (i.e. don't add it from Accounts Settings -> More settings -> Advanced, but from File -> Add account instead).
It will then show flagged items and tasks from all accounts in the 'To-do' list.

How can I view another users calendar

I need to setup an assistant to view a calendar from another employee.  He can already do this on a computer but we have them both mobile now and would like to do this from their blackberry's. We utilize Exchange 2003 for mail. Has anyone attempted this?

While I can't (yet!) find a specific KB article, my recollection is that each BB user can only see and manage their own calendar from the BB. Therefore, the delegate cannot manage the others calendar from their own BB.

I copied one user in to another. But user also need the transactions thats under the favorites folder of the other user in the main menu.

Hello,
The only way I know (On 4.6C with the latest service packs installed) is to download/upload.
from menu on source system,
favorites>download to pc
save as a txt file
on destination system,
favorites>upload from pc
upload the txt file and merge
Someone else may know another way. I am interested if so.

Viewing another users profile show my profile

On the "My threads" page (accessed from the "Quick access" link) clicking on a name after either "Created by" or after "Last reply by" shows my profile and not expected profile, it does not show the wanted
profile.
Clicking the names in the same place in the main pages for forums works OK. I think the issue is in the "referrer" part of the URL. Clicking on a link in the "My threads" page generates the link (the actual user's name alter as the actual
person is not relevant):

Actually, even weirder, if you mouse over the TheWantedUser link in My Threads, the link in the status bar is as you say:

if it is a zfm, u might have assigned a TR when cretaing this FM.so u need to relese this TR to the desired system.contact ur BASIS for the transport lanscape.
if it is a standard FM, u better copy this FM to a ZFM and make it as RFC enabled if it is not RFC enabled and call this ZFM from the system in which want to call this FM by giving the logical system id in the destination while calling this FM.

Implementing max user sessions settings for TACACS with ACS 5.3

I'm a little confused about the configuration of max user sessions for device administration with TACACS.
When I've changed the configutration of unlimited sessions for a value in Access Policies > Max User Session Policy > Max Session User Settings
I think this value could limit the maximum number of sessions for each user, but instead this value limit in a global meaning all of my sessions.
For example: I need to limit the session for my users in 2.
user1 = Max 2 sessions
user2 = Max 2 sessions
user3 = Max 2 sessions
Whe i Put the value of 2 in Max Session User Settings
user1 + user2 + user3 = Max 2 sessions
This is a limitation of ACS 5.3 or my configuration needs something aditional.

Are you saying that when you authenticate with user1 and user 2 that user3 isnt able to get access?
Do you have tacacs accounting enabled on the network access device?
Also what do you have configured for the group settings? If there is a maximum group setting and all the users are a member of the same group then the lesser of the two will be enforced. So if the group max sessions is set to 1 then the all users in that group will have a max session of 1.

Terminate a User session in the Portal

Hello,
is it possible to terminate a user session.
I want to delete a user, but I get the following error log:
- user delete failed
- Cannot lock at least one of the 4 locks for the owner
What is necessary to perform, before I am able to delete the user?

Michael,
I think there is a distinction between deleting a user, and a user session. If you want to delete a users session, object locks must be cleared first. Users, as you know are deleted on UME Admin. On NW2004s the UME Admin is now called Identity Management.

Hi Partha,
There is no way out to kill a user's session in RAR, nor in UME. The only place you can kill a user's session is in backend (R/3 side of a particular system) in T-code: SM04->select a particular session of any user-> end session.

User presets for copy/paste function.

User presets for copy/paste function?
During an edit session, I am constantly switching to, and from copying: crop (only), and copying everything except "local adjustments" and "basic tone". I use a few other combinations as well. Switching between these involve a lot of tedious (& error prone) checking and unchecking of boxes. A preset option of some sort would help here.
What I do is edit one photo (in a string of similar photos), then copy it. Then select similar photos and auto sync them with the paste command, In an action sequence, the crop often needs to be done separate. Also the lens profile & calibration needs to be pasted separate if I happened to be switching between two camera/lenses.

I can't tell. What I can tell is that the code in the sample you reference for sure doesn't cause this - but it doesn't help you I guess.
