Copy the standard cube

Hi All,
Can any one tell me what is the best way to copy the standard business content cube with all of it's underlying objects such as update rules, queries, structures, variables, etc. I am planning to make a copy of the standard cube as it is with a custom name.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Saritha,
You can copy the cube and update rules.
When you right click to create a cube, you could use the template as the custom cube and hence copy it. Similarly while creation of Update Rules, you can do the same way.

Copy the standard sapsxcript form

i want to copy the standard sapsxcript form. how should i go about it.

1. goto se71.
2. from menu you have an option to copy form from client.
3. You need to copy from client 000 of standard form.
(or)
Go to SE71. Type the std form.
Goto >Utilitie>Copy from Client-->Check Oriiginal Language.
It will ask for the New form name give it and save it.

Start conditions not copied when copying the standard WF

Hi
I have to copy the standard WF WS10400002 into a custom one having same start conditions
but only with an additional step.
but the start conditions are not copied on doing so.
and when trying to create the start conditions similar to the original one
i dont find the container element Gross Amount(USD) in the copied one
How can i resolve my issue , what else do i need to take care when copying the standard WF.
Please suggest.

The start condition defined in the std WF is
Gross amount(USD) < 9,999.00
and the in the container varaibles that i can see while defining the start conditions there are two varaibles for gross amount
they are
->EC Confirmation goods
   ->Gross amount              Gross Confirmation Amount in Document Currency
->Gross amount(USD)       Gross Confirmation Amount in Document Currency (Currency:USD).
and the BO BUS2203 has only Gross amount in the below format
ProcConfirmationEC.GrossAmount   Gross Confirmation Amount in Document Currency
The std BO doesnt have Gross amount(USD)
Copied WF
In the container variables i can see only
->EC Confirmation goods
   ->Gross amount              Gross Confirmation Amount in Document Currency
So i dont have the variable Gross amount(USD) to use it as in the std WF.
Please suggest.

Most probably you need to update the BI_CONT component in your system via SPAM.

You can use EXEC with SELECT like this
for that you need to use either of the two approaches
1. Create temporary table prior to EXEC call with same structure as EXEC output
Then use
INSERT INTO #TempTable
EXEC [dbo].[NA_WEB_Application_Availibility]
@InitialDate = '2014-07-07 00:00:00.000',
@FinalDate = '2014-07-07 05:00:00.000'
2. If you want table to be created on the fly then use this
SELECT * INTO #TempTable
FROM OPENROWSET('SQLOLEDB','Data Source=Server_name;Trusted_Connection=yes;

I'm not sure if I get your problem right away but if you just need to add some selections to the selection screen of Program RI_ORDER_OPERATION_LIST, you just have to copy include I_ORDER_OPERATION_LIST_SEL to your own z* include and add the selection parameters you want. If this is not the result you're looking for, please explain it more detailed.

Is it possible to copy a Standard Program along with the enhancements?

Hi Friends,
I need to copy the program RMCE0400 (Transaction: MC$K) and modify the selection screen and select queries based on the select options.
I copied the standard program to a Z Program but the enhancements were not copied automatically.
So i copied the codes in those enhancements and pasted them in the Z Program.
But it does not replicate the selection screen as well as the output of the standard program.
Can you tell me whether there is any other way to incorporate the codes in the enhancements of the standard program to the Z Program?
Is it possible to copy the enhancements?
I can use the enhancements to enhance the standard program, but the user wants to create a new T-Code with the copied and modified program.
So can anyone let me know if there is any way to do so?

I have designed a custom cube based on standard cube. Now i have to design the queries based on that InfoCube. In the standard Cube, we have a strcuture which I want in the query designer for the custom cube. How to get that structure into that InfoCube??

No, you are correct. A global structure is tied to a cube, not available for all cubes. But if you copy even one query from Cube 1 to Cube 2, even if it is not using the structure, the structure and other global elements will get copied too. Open a query for cube 2 and you will find then with _1 added on the left hand side.

What will happen to this Std. cube, if we go for upgradation from BI 7.0 in future ?
Or do i need to always make a copy of such Std. cube as Z and do the modification to it ?

It is always a good practive to make copy of the standard cube to Z and make changes to them. In future if we get any probelm SAP wont support for that. Make a copy of the standard cube to Z.

THE QUERY IS AS FOLLOWS:
I WANT TO ADD DATA MODE OF TRANSPORT FROM THE INVOICE DOCUMENT. THE TABLE AND FIELD IS T618-BEZEI.
SO I COPIED THE STANDARD FORM TO ZSD_EXPORT_FJCI AND THE STANDARD PROGRAM TO ZRVADAUS1.
I SUCCESSFULLY FETCHED THAT FIELD DATA.
I APPEND THE STRUCTURE 'ZAV55EFJCI' TO ADD THE ADDITIONAL T618-BEZEI FIELD.
AND WRITE MY SELECT QUERY IN THE ENTRY_FJCI FORM ROUTINE.

you said you copied layout(form) SD_EXPORT_FJCI to ZSD_EXPORT_FJCI,
you updated program to fetch datat & populate v55efjci-zzbezei field.
Now
- you need to modify layout(form) ZSD_EXPORT_FJCI via SE71 to insert your field in one of the windows where it has to be printed (sap script knowledge is required here).
- you need to either modify SAP output type FJCI to use your program/layout(form) or you need to create your own output type and assign your form/program to it, and in addition to that if you define your own output type - yo have to add it to output determination procedure, to access sequences, add condition records to condition table... so it's picked up by the invoice.

1. In that FM, while after copying to Z,
2. there is a second parameter in IMPORT
WITH_TEXT
3. in the column of Associated type,
    it will be blank.
give some data element like CHAR30
   and also give type
4. Then it will not give the error.

Problem in copying a standard maintenance view

Hi to all experts,
My requirement is to make an exact replica of the standard view V_T71ADM23 . I have copied the view into a custom z view and in the table maintenance generator created a function module and provided a screen . but the screens in both standard and custom view which i have generated is different. So i copied the standard function group in the table maintenance generator of the standard view into a zfunction group and assigned to the custom view . If i do that im getting errors like

View VT71ADM19 has no active version and no entry in the control directory
View VT71ADM20 has no active version and no entry in the control directory

i tried with both standard and custom
the screens are different in standard and custom some fields are missing in the custom view which i copied
