Copy weblogic environment with out install on Unix for weblogic6.1SP6

Hi,
I copied the weblogic home directory from one unix machine to another. Does the new machine work as the old environment with out any other configuration changes?
Startup script has all path and class path settings required for the application.
Please guide me if any docs available on what extra configurations do by installer when compare to the copying of the folders.
In windows i tried this way which doesnt give any problem. I would like to make sure that copying of bea folders shouldnt cause any problems in future on unix environment.
Any help on it is greatly apreciated.
Thank You.

can I use photoshop without installing other apps?

    You absolutely can
Usually, Adobe Bridge is automatically installed as a companion app for Photoshop - for example, if you download Photoshop CS6 through Creative Cloud, Bridge will also be installed. But Photoshop can definitely be used as a "stand-alone" application.

  • How can i run my .class file with out installing java ?

Hai friends..am new to java , plz help me any one.
I wrote a small program in java lang. i want to run this program in my friend's system , which is doesnt have java language .. How can i run this program in my friends system with out installing java language?
one of my friends told that ,it needs to copy the jvm in to ur directory where the java code is present . How can i copy the jvm from where to where ..?plz help me any one

Your friend will have to install the Java runtime if they want to run Java
    programs.
Don't go copying files yourself - and especially don't go copying them to the
location of the Java code. After all, if your friend wants to run 42 different
Java programs they shouldn't have to have 42 copies of the runtime.
Just download and run the installer from this site:
    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Be careful to download the "Java Runtime Environment" not the JDK.

  • Is there any way how i can download and run Window based games, with out installing Windows-thus Bootcamp? and if so, is it free?

is there any way how i can download and run Window based games, with out installing Windows-thus Bootcamp? and if so, is it free?

No, you must install Windows to run Windows software. You do not need to use Boot Camp (yes, it's free because it comes with OS X.)
    Windows on Intel Macs
There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
Install the Apple Boot Camp software.  Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7.  Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows.  Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7.  Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
VM Fusionand Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7.  VM Fusion is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows.  The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris.  It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc.  There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization.  The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. See MacTech.com's Virtualization Benchmarking for comparisons of Boot Camp, Parallels, and VM Fusion. Boot Camp is only available with Leopard or Snow Leopard. Except for Crossover and a couple of similar alternatives like DarWine you must have a valid installer disc for Windows.
You must also have an internal optical drive for installing Windows. Windows cannot be installed from an external optical drive.

My Program schould ask me to install JVM in runtime it self.
my swing program schould ask the useres to install JVM,if they dont have JVM in their systems.
is it not possible with Swings?
I cames to know that, its possible by creating one jar file which chek the JVM in the useres PC.this jar file will run before my program run.so this jar file will check either user PC has the JVM or Not,if they dont have JVM,this jar file will install JVM in runtime it self.
if it is possible ,plz suggest me with some usefull code.

  • Can i receive email from my work lotus notes account with out installing lotus notes

    Hi
Can i receive my work email to my mac with out installing lotus notes on it

A new development: I've tried sending emails from the alias several times over the past 24 hours, but in general I've deleted them if they haven't sent within about half an hour.
However, one of the messages I left sitting in the outbox did send successfully in the end, but this took about an hour.
So: perhaps my problem is not in fact that I am completely unable to send mail from my alias, but that I can only do so intermittently and extremely slowly, and by ignoring the "cannot send" message.
    Any help appreciated.

  • Can i publish a website with out having to pay for dotmac??

can i publish a website with out having to pay for dotmac??

Are you on a trial version of .Mac? If your present page is on .Mac and you have login priviledges to this account, you can upload to it via iWeb. If the site you are uploading carries the exact same name as the one that is there now, it will overwrite the existing site. Trial versions of .Mac are limited to 50MB of space.
If you are talking about Homepage, sites created in iWeb and published to folders can be placed in your Sites folder and viewed with your homepage url; as long as they are named differently they will not overwrite one another.

  • I can't log into apple mail with out it asking me for a password.

I can't log into apple mail with out it asking me for a password. It never used to do this. What can I do to be able to send a email without having to type in a password?

    Hey it4daddy73,
What mail provider are you currently using (Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo?).
Open up safari and go to that providers website and log into your email.
If you get in than open the mail app and click on mail on the top of the screen, then go down to preferences, click on the accounts tab, and type your password. Close the window and it will save.
If this doesn't work I would even try deleting the account by going into mail/preferences/accounts and clicking the - button in the bottom left corner. Than re add and configure the account by pressing the + button.
Hope this works, and good luck.

  • DwDatamart db required with out installing service manager concole .

    Hi all,
Kindly let me know where can i download sample dwdatamart db .
    Thanks
    Regards, Subathra

So depending on what you're looking to do, you might be better served by reviewing the Data Warehouse Architecture, or
    looking at the standard reports
    detailed at technet.
Even a small environment with any type of data is going to be in the multiple gigabyte range. A sample database is going to have a bunch of instance specific junk that may or may not be meaningful to you. For instance, I have Provance in my lab, and
there are a lot of classes and objects defined by Provance in my datamart. if you're using Cireson's asset management, all the classes and tables are going to be very different, or if you're not using either tool, then all of that data will be useless.
as a final though, you might consider installing the product in a VM in
trial mode. Whatever your use case, you're going to have a hard time testing without a database to validate against.

  • Classpath issue in a Weblogic environment with separate apps

I am seeing class definition and/or class version errors relating to the classloader with regarding to some of the JOS support classes that Hibernate/Spring uses, such as Jakarta commons logging, as an example. Our situation is that we have two applications that call each other. Each use Hibernate to do persistence to their own databases. Intermittently, I see these errors when I have the hibernate.jar and the supporting .jars in each application's app-inf/lib's. However, if I move the .jars to the server classpath then the issues go away.
This configuration is not optimal because one application may use a latter version of the .jars and then this would require regression testing for all apps that use Hibernate and the associated .jars on the server.
In general, I am wondering how others have configured their .jars. Is this something you just have to live with?? Or is there a viable solution to have the .jars live in each application?
    Thanks,
    Lou

I have installed Sql server 2008 R2 for creating/accessing SSRS reports.
Can I create or access reports without installing Sql server 2008 R2 since it is expensive to be installed sql server in all developer machines ?
Is there any Sql client to create/access reports ??
    Hi ,
    To Access SSRS Reports ;
You don't need to install SQL server on many machine to access SSRS reports.
You can configure your SSRS services on one Machine using that you can access reports using url in within that Particular Domain.
    So ,
If you installed SSRS on server A
Then you can also Access reports on server B and server C and server C .
because all the servers are within same domain.
    To create Reports ;
You require BIDS /SSDT  as OLAF Helper said, as you have Report Manager on Server A then from there using reportsbuilder you can create reports.
    Thanks
