Copying a 1/2 page (8 1/2 x 11) to other side

I created a 1/2 page flyer, and I wanted to copy and paste it on the other half, so that I have two same 1/2 page flyers, then I will print and cut in half.
However, when I copy "Select All" and "Copy", when I "Paste" it to the other side, it only brings the images, it won't bring the text boxes.  And then it doesn't bring ALL the images anyway.
What other way can I copy all the text boxes and images on 1/2 the 8/12 x 11 and paste them ALL to the other side? I wouldn't think there would be any other way but to select all, copy and paste.  But it just doesn't work that way.
Also, how would I GROUP the entire 1/2 page of text boxes and images so that possibly I could just copy and paste the whole thing over to the other side?

Hi Pamela,
The biggest issue preventing you from doing what you want is that you are, I expect, using a Pages word processing template for your flyer. Word processing documents have a text layer, and you cannot select text in the text layer and other objects at the same time.
You can, however, put your text into a set of text boxes. These are treated as objects, and can be selected along with other objects, then copied (or duplicated) all together.
Here's something to try that will demonstrate a method of doing what you want:
Open a document using the Catering Brochure template (found in the Brochures section of the Page layout templates). This is a single fold brochure that you could adapt to us for your flyer.
In the Pages list to the left, click on the icon for Page 2, then press delete (and confirm that you do want to delete Page 2).
The left side of the remaining page (About Molly) will become the page that is to be repeated for the flyer.
Delete the contents of the right half:
If necessary, reduce the magnifiction (box with a % number, lower left corner of the window) so that you can see all of the page on the screen.
Place the mouse pointer just above the bottom edge of the page and just to the right of the blue guideline showing the left-right center of the page. Left click and hold as you drag the mouse up and to the right to select every object on that side of the page.
When all elements are selected, release the mouse button, then press delete.
Now move a copy of the About Molly page to the right side of the page:
Click on the (now empty) rigt side of the page to ensure you do not have any text selected or activated.
Select All (command-A).
Press and hold the option key as you click and drag the page contents to the right. When they are in the correct position (or really close), release the mouse button to drop the copy onto the page.
With all elements of the copy still selected, tap the arrow keys to nudge the copy into exact position on the page.
If you're printing two-sided flyers, omit the step of deleting page 2, and repeat the above process on that page.
