Copying and Transferring Movies to new iPhone 3G
I'm trying to transfer the movies I had on my old iPod to my new iPhone 3G and iTunes won't let me (I get the circle with the line through it). I also purchased a movie, "This is Spinal Tap," and I can't transfer it to my new iPhone either. Can anyone help me, please?

Did you get to do the transfer? I have a 1st gen Iphone and should receive my 3gS soon. I want to know how to get all my info from my 1st gen to the new 3G S.

I Could walk you through iTunes but it's easier with iCloud. I just got a new 6 from 5s. I would go to settings icloud(5s) and make sure your logged into icloud(Apple ID). Make sure notes are active as in green(settings-iCloud). When you setup you new phone those notes should carry over when you log into your iCloud account. Messages don't carry over from phone to phone with Icloud. I could be wrong but your carrier might Be able to. Through apple is I dont think so PHONE TO PHONE. Only way I recover those is through my Mac or iPad. If you have another device hooked to the same iCloud then messages should be on your other device. Notes will carry over through icloud though

I bought an iPhone 4 from a youngster who had put his own Apple ID on it but could not remember the password. I backed it up yesterday and restored to my new iPhone and it copied the Apple ID across too. Now I have 2 phones with it on. Anything I do?

when you start using iCloud on any iOS device and enable find my iPhone, this prevents a new user from using it, and also prevents anyone from using the phone
as it is locked to previous owners account ,this is also the case if when a phone is lost or stolen.
the only way around this is to have the previous owner reset their apple id by going to @ applied.apple.com
if they are unable to do this, then the only other way around this is to have the previous owner get a copy of their original receipt and call apple support who can then lift this lock if they get a copy of the receipt

Keywords not transferring with pictures on copy and paste to a new computer. The keywords are in lightroom on old computer but not in lightroom on new computer? Not all pictures, but a lot of the new ones.
I actually found under EDIT then Catalog settings / then metadata that the automatic write changes to XMP had been unchecked. Once I check this, it updated and connected all the keywords to the pictures. Now when I copy and paste the keywords show up as I can now detect them in Adobe bridge when before I couldn't see them even though they were in lightroom. . Thanks for your input.

I have a music library on an iMac and I got a new iPhone and a new MacBook Pro and I want some of the songs from the iMac library to be on my phone and my MacBook Pro and I have a new Apple ID on my phone and my Mac book pro, is this possible if so how do I do it?
Providing specifics on all the ways to do this will take more time than I am willing to spend here these days. You can do some of this with Home Sharing. You can transfer the entire library from one computer to another, If you do that you can delete what you don't want from the transferred library.
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to select a library, then guide it to the 'iTunes Library.itl' file in the moved iTunes folder. If you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)
You do not want to use a new AppleID. Change the AppleID on the new phone to the old ID. Purchases made with one AppleID cannot be transferred to a different one and it will be a royal pain to manage two Apple IDs.
Change iTunes Store account on an iOS device - Log out of your current account with Settings.app > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) > tap on your AppleID. Log in with a different account. How can I put previously purchased music and videos on my new iPhone 4s?

Huh? File has nothing to do with it. Do not click File. Forget File. It transfers FROM iphone TO itunes. This is NOT what you are trying to do.
You need to sycn your iphone. This is very basic and is certainly covered in the manual.
Open itunes.
Connect iphone.
Select what you want to sync.

Yes. See this article from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different ways to copy content from your iPod over to your computer and into iTunes. Once you have successfully done that, you can go ahead and sync the content over to your iPhone.

I have just bought a new iphone 4 as an upgrade to my iphone 3GS. How can I transfer all my apps including saved levels in games etc. and data and folders to the new iphone 4 and keep facetime etc on the new iphone 4. When I have done this for someone else they got all their data etc but lost the Face Time App and teh iphone 4 looked like the iphone 3 screen.

If you are running Lion then all drivers are distributed through Software Update. You do not need to install anything, other than to install the printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan. If you already added the printer while it was connected using USB, you might want to delete it and set it up again wirelessly to avoid confusion. Or, give them two distinct names e.g. "Photosmart D110 (USB)" and "Photosmart D110 (wireless)".
All scanning functions are now performed using Preview, but you can also access the scanner through the same Print & Scan preference pane, or with Image Capture.
