Copying content from N70 to 6500c

I'm using the latest 6.85 version of PC Suite. I've been using it satisfactorily for some time to back up and edit an N70.
I have just used the backup-restore function to copy the content from the N70 onto a 6500c.
All the content transferred satisfactorily (well that which was compatible).
However - PC suite now cannot "see" the contacts on the 6500c - even though it put them there and can back them up again (it says it just backed up 187 contacts so I hope it did!). That is, I can't view and edit contacts on the PC.
And, there are an extra 2 lines in each contact entry on the phone with just the contact's name and a dinkus of come kind.

I had exactly the same situation after flashing new firmware 6.61 the other day
phone did not show any contacts, but pc suite saw them (probably in cache?) anyway that was expected, since flashing does tell you data was lost, so i restored from backup taken previously and ll is fine

It's because of the extension of the hard drive is a Windows extension ( most likely MSDOS or Ex-FAT), meaning you can only read but not write. If there are no important files (or you can copy the whole thing to your computer/mac) you can just reformat the hard drive and change the extension to NTFS (readable and writable on both windows and mac) or Mac OS Extended (readable and writable on Mac, readable on windows).
Go to DISK UTILITY
Choose the Hard Disk you intended
ERASE
You can choose either
(I personally prefer this one, you know just in case)

How do I copy content from an entire row of one table into a different table? When I try to copy/paste the selected row into a row of the same size and configuration in another table in the same document, the cells change width, the formatting and border thicknesses change, and the text gets squeezed. When I was working with tables in Microsoft Word, there was no problem selecting text from a row in one table and placing it into a similar row and configuration in another table.

A: It can but not easily (in that you may take a hit in quality). Apps like MpegStream Clip or DVDXDV may help:

It converts it back to a QT file for use with iDvd (or iMovie).

How do I copy content from a 1st generation ATV back to my Mac?

I have a first generation ATV. Some time ago I synched from a MacBook a bunch of video onto the ATV hard drive. I subsequently deleted all the content from the MacBook. I now want to recover the content from the ATV hard drive back to the Mac. I am afraid that a simple sync between iTunes on the MacBook and the ATV will result in the MacBook deleting the content from the ATV, not in copying the content from the ATV back to the Mac. How can I safely recover the content from the ATV?

Right. Tiny confession. This is not actually my ATV. A friend is in this situation and I am trying to help, but having said that I'm pretty sure all the content is home movies, not purchased. I do have an app, Senuti, that will reverse copy content from an iPod or iPhone and it works great, but not on an ATV.

Is there any way to copy content from my iPhone to a brand new Mac with a blank iTunes library?

Bit of background:
This time last week, I had a MacBook Air and a 6 year old desktop PC. Everything I had was on both of them, so they acted as each other's back up. This Sunday evening just gone, my PC finally died a traumatic death, and I can't even get it to boot from Safe Mode. Then on Monday while I was at work, my house was burgled, and my MacBook Air was stolen, amongst many other things. All I have now is my iPhone 4S which was with me at the time. All my music, photos, videos etc are on my iPhone, but I'm very aware that when I eventually get my replacement MacBook from our insurance company (I'm being realistic and accepting that I'll never see my stuff again), as soon as I plug my phone into a blank iTunes library, I'll lose everything that's on there. Obviously I can re-download everything I've purchased from iTunes, though it will take a VERY long time and I still won't have playlists etc, and I can probably either Dropbox or email what photos I have on there, but I have a lot of video clips from over the last few years that aren't on my camera roll - they're in the phone as proper videos, in the video player app, and I can't get Dropbox to view that location, or figure out how to email them. The videos are very important to me and I really don't want to lose them; so much so that I'm thinking of never syncing my iPhone ever again!
Basically, what I'm asking is, how can I copy everything from my iPhone into a blank iTunes library? Is it even possible?
ANY input whatsoever would be greatly appreciated - I really don't want to lose all my content over this, so please please please help if you can!

Getting An error has occured on the script of this page when copying content from SharePoint to Excel

Hi,
We have a SharePoint site where we use Windows Authentication for the base site and Forms based authentication for the extended site.
In the extended site certian portion of the site is having an anonymous access and certian part of the site reqires credentials to see the content.
When i try to copy the content from base site with Windows authentication to excel sheet it is prompting for the credentials and on providing the credentials content is getting copied.
But When i try to copy the content from the extended site either from the anonymous access pages or the pages which are shown after authentication in both the cases we are getting the below error.
On the error if i click on yes it is going to Login page of the site even for the pages with anonymous access as well as pages what we see after authentication.
Is there any way to avoid prompting for the windows credentials in case of Base site and avoid this error in the case of extended forms authentication site, as i am just copying the plain text from site to excel.

Thanks for the reply I guess we could not get the fiddler trace as we are getting this error while i am copying the data to excel file which is present on drive from SharePoint this is not on a browser. Correct me if I am wrong
And Alternate access mappings and IIS bindings are perfect.

Copy contents from Webdynpro Table to Clipboard

I have a requirement, wherein the contents from the table UI in Webdynpro, in an SRM system, have to be copied to a clipboard. The class CL_PERS_ADMIN->SET_DATA is the hint given for the same.
Not sure how it works or how to implement this!?!
Have gone through Web dynpro Selectoption: upload from clipboard and as per Harald's comment have also enabled 'Allow Programmatic clipboard access' in IE.
Please advice.

Copy content from desktop

now i have pretty much created my site for desktop computers i want to create the same site for mobile phones just tweaking the layout slightly.
i know you can add an alternative layout in muse, clicking copy from desktop and checking all 3 options gives me a copy of the background but thats about it. how can i get a copy of content and i need i to be in sync with the desktop layout. so if i change the text on the desktop layout it will also change in the mobile layout.

Copying content from a PDF created from Mac os x10.6.7 quartzpdf context to a MS-Word document

When I select the text from the PDF document, choose the copy option, then paste, I see garbled text in the Word document. I tried OCR recognition using Acrobat Professional 9
but that failed stating "This page has graphics other than images and text. It cannot be captured"
I checked the properties of the PDF document, and noticed that it was created from Mac os x10.6.7 quartz pdf context and PDF version was 1.4.
The text I am trying to copy is not an image and the document has no protection at all.
What else can I try?

If you look at the fonts (ctrl-D>fonts) you will probably see the fonts may not be embedded, or if they are you do not have them on your system. For instance, a MAC uses Helvetica and Windows uses Arial. They look similar, but are different fonts. Likely when you copy to WORD, you are having the problem that the fonts are not on your system. Why not just ask the author for the original document if you need to copy the information. You should asking anyway if you are going to use their info.

Draft email copied content from one and sent in other

I have an employee here who had 2 drafts, both were replys to different emails with different subjects and different recipients. After completing one of the emails, they pressed send and that was that.
After getting back to the office, they noticed in their sent items that the sent email contained the full text of the other item in drafts below the content of the intended email. It was formatted as so:

Problem copying contents from bold to curve

Hi, hope you can help me. I am trying to transfer all my info from my old blackberry to my new one. The old phone was broken so the shop has taken it, but I was able to do a backup before. The BB desktop is saying that I have to connect my old device, which I don't have anymore and copy the info over. Is there anyway I can do this not have my old phone.

As you don't have the old phone you will be unable to use the device switch wizard.
You should be able to just restore the backup from the old phone to the new phone.

I can't copy contents from adobe

hi! i have saved my files with nokia pc suite > i have transfer the files on microsd 128 delivered with my phone! to my new 1go everything was good the applications, games.. but only one thing the folders of Theme, applications, games ... were named into predefthemes, predefcollections, predefgames... so when i tried to rename them as they was before on the original card!! the icons dissepear and they are no longer with small pictures...
The specific folder icons must have something to do with
a hidden file on the Nokia memory card called
"SD Content Package sd_emea" (this file is only 55 Bytes large).
does anyone know how can i set the Folder-Icons ?
(On the memory card delivered with the phone the folders

Unfortunatey it seems that only following folders on memory card are recognisible by 6300 as system folders:
Themes: predefthemes
Graphics: predefgraphics
Wallpapers: predefwallpapers
Screen savers: predefscreensavers
Tones: predeftones
Games: predefgames
Collection: predefcollections
The rest below folders (on my 6300, v4.71 firmware) when I named them as per rules with "predef" suffix the folders names left unchanged and with NO graphic icons.
Images: predefphotos
Video clips: predefvideos
Music files: predefmusic
Recordings: predefrecordings
I am not aware about real folders exact names on phone memory but I guess they should be like below:
Images: predefphotos
Video clips: predefvideos
Music files: predefmusic
Themes: predefthemes
Graphics: predefgraphics
Wallpapers: predefwallpapers
Screen savers: predefscreensavers
Clip-art: ?
Frames: ?

Copying content from one frame to another frame

Hi All,
In my application, i want popup frame to enter the values when clicking the mouse(Double Click). I open the new frame by using the following code

Keystroke to Copy Contents From Cell Above

Excel had a keystroke command (CTRL : if I recall). Does Numbers have a similar keystroke command?

He didn't find a single, specific, keystroke. I know what he is talking about because I used it in Excel regularly. True, you can copy and then paste, using the keyboard, but look at the extra steps.
Normally after entering something in one cell, your cursor will drop to the next row. Thus pressing ctrl-" is a one-step operation.
With Numbers, you have to up arrow to the cell you just left, ctrl-C to copy it, move back down, ctrl-V to paste.
Before someone jumps on here and says, "This isn't Excel", that is beside the point. It's still legitimate to ask the question to find out if it will do it and, if not, it's also fine to say you wish it had it.
Right now, I'm trying hard with a multiple programs to see if I can adapt to Apple's way of doing things. Sometimes I find it just takes getting used to a different approach. The new approach may turn out to even be better. But sometimes, not matter how much I try to adjust, there will be things I'll request Apple change because I think they would be wise to do so.
