Copying Documents To iPhone.

I have a number of documents on my Mac and my PC which I would like to also have on my iPhone. They are documents such as timetables, price lists etc.
What is the best way to get them from computer (or hard copy for that matter) to iPhone?

A couple of more choices, Quick Office, Filemagnet. One I have just found and is extremely cool is PasteBot. It isn't a filing system really but it will grab anything you copy with copy paste on the iPhone or the mac when synced and hold on to it. It is like a filing system for the clipboard. You can grab snips of just about anything then move it between the mac and the iphone when ever you are ready.
Quick Office will read and write Word and Excel files and can display any iWork document as well as images and pdfs. It uses wifi to transfer files. It displays a web address for you to type in to your browser on the mac and then you can access files and move them between devices.
There are many apps that will do this but these I have found to be quite powerful and well developed.

I reinstalled iTunes but that dit not help. After synching iTunes with my iPhone it also asks to authorize my pc and when i Click on ok, it says it is already authorized.

It's likely that your backup is corrupt. Try deleting the backup, then right click on the name of the phone in iTunes and choose "back up". To delete go to iTunes Preferences, Devices tab. Highlight and delete the most recent backup. Note that sometimes deleting this way leaves some garbage around that can still interfere with a new backup, so you should verify that the backup folder is empty.

The folder where your backup data are stored varies depending on the computer's operating system. Make sure the backup folder is included in your periodic data-backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

I am having the same problem I think. With mobileme you simply copy documents to the idisk folder and then synch. I cannot seem to sink that folder anymore. Any idea as to how I can simply copy folders to icloud and then access the MS Word and PDF file

Your iDisk is still accessible after moving to iCloud in exactly the same way as before. Nothing is deleted until June 30th 2012.

No, you couldn't. Firstly, nothing was deleted from your iDisk. Secondly, any files stored on your iDisk should never be your only copy. Even if your iDisk spontaneously combusted, you should keep local backups elsewhere.

Yes. Apple doesn't provide such a service anymore, nor are you paying them for it.
Apple has made no effort to suggest remedies for the problem it has given iDisk users
They've provided instructions on how to download your files from your iDisk. What you do with them after that is your choice.

Trying to sync voice memos I get "was not copied to the iphone because it could not be found"

I recorded some "voice memos" on my iPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.3). I now just want to get them onto my computer. I have followed the instruction from other posts and selected the "Include Voice Memo" checkbox and also the "Voice Memo Genre" checkbox located on the Music tab. I then click on Sync and get the following error ... "Some of the items in the iTunes library, including ----- were not copied to the iPhone because they could not be found". So I understand that the memos were not copied to the phone ... this is good since I already have then on the phone. I want, instead for them to be copied FROM the phone to the computer. So what's the problem I thought that SYNC'ing meant copying new files from the iPhone to the computer as well as vice versa.
The Voice Memo is toolarge for me to simply email to myself so I need to understand what is causing this so that I can get around it. I have noticed that when I attempt to "Organize Library" and check "Consolidate Files" (suggested by some forum somewhere) when I close the dialog box and sync again, that when I return to the "Consolidate Files" checkbox i see that has actually cleared itself and is no longer checked. I am not sure if this is related or not.
I have a very business recording that is on my iPhone and MUST get this audio off the phone ASAP. Any help would be appreciated.

The dialog tells you the path to the song is wrong/not there. Make sure you can play it in iTunes.

Can't open document on iPhone from Pages via iCloud

Trying to open a document on iPhone via iCloud only to get the following error messages from within Pages (iOS version): "Opening this document requires an internet connection". Am connected to internet using WiFi and the Documents and Data field is set to "Yes" in iClouds section of Settings. Document is present on iCloud.com. Tried deleting and reinstalling Pages; turning D&D field to No and back to Yes, rebooting iph00ne

It seems to be hit or miss if this works or not, but try opening Pages on the iPad, then before you select a document, on the very first screen, hit the "Edit" button, then select your document. Then click the arrow coming out of the box in the upper left corner & email the document to yourself. Try opening the email on a computer, selecting the file and adding the pages file type (.pages) to the end of the name. Then try reopening it in Pages.
I don't know if this is what happened in your case, but it seems like sometimes iWork documents lose that file type indicator & then Pages (numbers/ Keynote) won't open them.

BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 problem with copying document-version

Hi experts!
I want to copy Documents from one Sap-System to another via RFC.
So I read the documents in the source-system with 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETDETAIL2' via RFC. then I want to insert the documents received in the target-system with BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2.
The result is that from a document all part-documents are been copied, but only one (the first) version of a document-part.

I am able to create document number in IDES system. I am getting error development system while creating document number with the FM. Configuration settings and the test data are same for both IDES and Dev. system.

You can't move a backup from iCloud to your computer. You can only restore it to your phone. You can, however back up your phone to your computer by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Back Up. Or, if you want to switch to backing up on your computer rather than iTunes, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup on your phone and turn iCloud Backup off. After that, your phone will automatically back up to your computer every time you sync with iTunes.

How to copy documents for InfoProvider data from one cube to another cube

Hello Everyone,
We are using standard document feature to store document/comment about the data shown in the report/planning query. Relevant characteristics have the property 'characteristics is document attrib' turned on/selected for this purpose.
Looks like the documents created gets tagged to a particular InfoProvider along with characteristic value assignment.
Is there a way to move or copy documents from one InfoProvider to another InfoProvider.
As per the design requirement, we need to move data from a real time InfoProvider (transaction cube) to a basic reporting cube. The data in the first/source cube stays for a period of approx 3 months before moved to other cube. We want the documents associated with InfoProvider data also to be moved, so that users can continue to see the document/comments what they had created earlier.
I looked at the Documents tab in DataWarehouse workbench. No options seem to be available to copy or move documents.
Any help will be highly appreciated and points will be rewarded accordingly!

Requirement to programmatically copy documents from KM to a Windows folder

We have a requirement to programmatically copy documents from KM to a Windows folder with final destination being SharePoint. We are able to access the KM folders manually through WebDav and adding Network Place in Windows. However, we need to do this programmatically. Has anybody solved this puzzle? We are looking for a .NET solution. We have already ruled out NetWeaver Portal Drive 4.4 as a good solution because it seems is not supported for current and future hardware.

You can use KM API to code for download of the files ,but please make sure that the server has acess to the local destop.
1) Read the folder form KM
2) Read Each file as a byte array
3) write the Byte array as a file in the local desktop(Make sure for the premission )
4) Repeat the above steps for all the file in the folder

It sounds like your computer needs to be reauthorized. Try playing a purchased song on your computer. It may ask you to authorize, which should then clear up your issue.
