Copying empty text boxes so that when you fill in one the others

I use Acrobat Professional 8. I size a blank text box... it's automatically labelled "Text1". I can copy the empty box by holding the Control key down and moving the box. Now I have 2 boxes. If I want to do 3 boxes, I repeat that action. The only problem is this: They all say "Text1" and if you fill in the first box, all the other boxes are filled in with the same information. Here is my question: How do I copy empty text boxes so that this doesn't happen; that is, how do I copy the boxes such that if I fill in the first box, all the other boxes remain empty until I go and fill them? Please. Thank you.

Somethings to try:
Give each of the replicated Text boxes a unique name (Text1, Text2, Text3, etc.)
Or, place Text1 then from the context menu select "Place Multiple Fields".
This replicates the first and provides a unique Name to each.
Position each field as desired.

The simplest option is to use the Rolling Credits title in iMovie. Rolling Credits has a left and right component (so you can do "Role" and "Played By")
So to tell a story, you would use the left boxes only.
You could also use the Far Far Away title for a Star Wars type effect, but with the Star Wars title it is dificult to read the whole thing as it travels off into space.

In v4 why did you flip the context menu for open in new tab/window. Sucks when you are used to the other way

I downgraded to 3.x because when I browse I have many new open windows (I have been using FF for so long I automatically select the second option). Seems stupid to change the order of the context menu when it has been the other way forever.
Please change it back or at least have the order as an option.

And there is an option to use a menu editor to put them back detailed in that thread as well. The problem, of course, is that you need to perform a complex customization to every computer on which you use Firefox in order to fix a problem that should never have been created, never made it through beta, and that the developers won't fix because they believe that they are right.
Frankly, eventually you get used to it. But in the mean time, they have annoyed, and in many cases pissed-off a large segment of their users for no reason at all.

Has anyone else noticed that, when you first start up the Game Center app, it shows a picture of a die that is 'unconventional'? The standard way of numbering a die would have a 1 where the image shows a 6.

Perhaps you are loading a template that has a text block already on it.
You might try the blank template option and set that as your go to template in your preferences

Is it possible to have copy to clipboard take entries in text boxes on a fillable form as well as the form fields in Adobe Reader Windows? When I create the forms is there some javascript or possibly a setting that would allow the end user to copy to clipboard the form fields and their entered text. Or another option that would work is to have only the entries in the text boxes copy to clipboard. Is that even possible?

Copying fields is not possible in Reader.

Illustrator CS5 - removing empty text boxes

I've always found it difficult to select the type I want when I'm using the type tool to edit some text. I can click directly over the type but I guess I'm a zillionth of a pixel off because about half the time it assumes I want to make a new text box. So my documents are littered with invisible empty type boxes that often get grouped with other objects, causing lots of problems. I'd love to know:
1. How to make it easier to select type.
2. How to delete all empty text boxes. I remember hearing of a built-in way to do this, which indicates Adobe knows it's a problem, but rather than making type selections easier, they give us a shortcut to undo the problem they caused. At any rate, I've forgotten the shortcut.

Tagging text boxes so that they are read in a particular order

I created a one page MSWord 2007 document that contains a screen image in the middle with numbered text boxes around it explaining the various features found in the image. The numbered boxes go clockwise around the image. How can I set this up so that when it's converted to PDF, the PDF screen reader will read the items in the proper order? Is it even possible to do this??

Thank you for your quick response to my question! I am not an experienced Adobe user, so I had to search for the functions you suggested.
I could not find the "Acrobat Tags pane". Is this in MSWord or in Acrobat? I figured out how to add 'text' tags in Acrobat, because the option to add 'paragraph' tags was not there. I also figured out how to change the reading order of the tags and confirmed the order was correct with the 'read out loud' tool. However, I can't figure out how to retrieve the "Page Thumbnails pane". Adobe sure likes to make things complicated!!
One other question, when I created the 'text' tags for each of my text boxes, the number image I used within the text box was not captured. I guess that makes sense since the text box is tagged as 'text and the number image is an image'. I suppose the order in which the content is read aloud is important, but hearing the numbers isn't. The numbers correspond to numbers on the image, which they may not be able to see. I used the pop-up text from various buttons/tabs/icons from the web page (which is the image I am explaining in this document) and used that text in the text boxes, where applicable. I think this makes the document as accessible as possible....

Text box moves position when viewing

When doing some testing on a new home page I'm developing, one of the text boxes adjusts its position depending upon which browser I'm using. It's driving me nuts! When viewing it through Internet Explorer, the gray text box in the middle column (for now says advertise here) shifts up. I'm unsure why this is only happening to this one particular text box or what I can do to resolve the issue. I attempted to move the box down a little ways, but then when I viewed it through Firefox it looked odd being pretty far down.
Normally I'd say it's because of IE, but it's odd this is only happening to this one text box. Any thoughts?

Assuming that you have used web-safe fonts and have done a Command A in iWeb to make sure there are no box overlaps, you could try deleting the box, save, quit, reboot your Mac and then relaunch iWeb, add the box back, save and republish.
The restart will dump the redundant files out into the trash and hopefully eliminate any chance that the box is corrupted in iWeb.

Sure, you can override the warning and press "Continue" instead.
But you said "you have been through the book many times" - have you checked the pages in Aperture's book view or have you checked the preview of the book? I'd look at least at at the "Preview" of the Book - after pressing "Continue" you will see the "Preview" button when the next panel is shown. Look carefully at the preview of the book, if any text is missing.
If you are sure that you like what you see in the preview and no empty textfields show, you can proceed to buy the book.
