Copying every outgoing message to another email address

Is it possible to automatically copy every outgoing message to one particular email address besides your own? I could not find a filter rule that would do this. Thanks.

Sorry for the delayed response. I neglected to subscribe to the topic after my initial post, and forgot to check for responses until now. The account in question is my young daughter's. I've already set it up so that I receive copies of all her incoming mail to my account, but I'd also like to get copies of all her outgoing messages. Of course, I've already set up the account so that she can only email with those I've added to her "white list." And of course, she's fully aware of my surveillance. Thanks.

Cant get rules to fwd message to another email address.

I am trying to set up a rule for a particular email account I have on Mail. I went under preferences and opened rules. I selected "every message" in the first section and then "Fwd to" and the new email address in the next section. I cant seem to get the rule to work. I have tried changing different settings and even tried using a different email address and it just doesnt seem to work? Am I missing something?

Sounds to me like you are doing everything right. I tried it for a specific email that I received and it forwarded just like I expected but the process does not leave a copy in the Sent Items folder as would be the case if I manually forwarded a specific message.
The rule setup was
If "Any" of the following conditions are met
"From" "Contains" "email@address"
Perform the following actions:
"Forward Message" to "other_email@address"
then clicked on OK.
I was prompted if I wanted to Apply the rule and did so. There was one email in my inbox which satisfied the condition and it was forwarded successfully.

How do I import all folders and saved messages from another email address?

I'm using Mac OS X. Only my inbox messages have imported. I'm trying to import from my GoDaddy email account.

This sounds like you have created a POP mail account.
Pop mail accounts can only get access and download from server Inbox to Thunderbrd mail account Inbox. This is not a Thunderbird quirk; it is how all POP mail accounts work.
There is a workaround.
In Thunderbird
* Move all good emails from Inbox to other suitable folders.
* Delete any emails you do not want.
* Right click on Inbox and select : 'Compact'
Now you have an empty Inbox which will make it easier to identify emails downloaded from different folders.
* Log on to webmail account using a browser.
* Move all emails from one of your folders into Inbox.
* In Thunderbird select to 'Get Messages'
* Thunderbird will download any emails not previously downloaded to the Inbox.
* Create a suitable folder and move all those emails into it.
Repeat this action to move emails in other folders into webmail Inbox and then download them.
This will get emails from server folders into Thunderbird.
From then onwards any new mail coming into server Inbox will get downloaded to Thunderbird mail account Inbox, so this workaround would only need to be done once.

Pop mail accounts usually download and delete off server, so if you do not want this to occur, check this first:
Tools > Account Settings > Server Settings for the mail account

right click on mail account in Flder Pane and select 'Settings'
then 'Server Settings' for mail account.

If you want to auto delete some emails, you can select either ot both of these options:
* For at most xx days
* Until I delete them

If a POP mail account does not do what you want, you would need to see if your webmail account allows 'IMAP forwarding' and select that option.
Then create a new IMAP mail account in Thunderbird.
This would allow you to subscribe to see any folders on the server.
IMAP accounts mean that you get a remote view of the server folders, so anything you do in Thunderbird will also occur on the server. eg: if you delete an email in Thunderbird it will delete off server as you are seeing one in the same folders.
In both cases it is always advisable to periodically create a backup:

Send an extra copy of every signed agreement to these email addresses - rules

I posed a question to support today regarding the feature "Send an extra copy of every signed agreement to these email addresses" because we recently changed the addresses in this field but were not seeing any emails coming through for signed documents.
If my boss said starting tomorrow I want all signed copies of all documents processed by EchoSign (currently out for signature and new documents) to be copied to email address [email protected]..how would I accomplish this?
The response I got back from support was that only transactions that were initiated after the edit to this option would be routed to the new email address defined and that previously existing transactions would use whatever address was previously defined for the option.
So heads up to all your EchoSigners out there that this is how this works because it is not documented anywhere that I could find.
To the EchoSign design team. Please change this to at least allow for the possibility to apply to in process transactions.
Just imagine a couple use cases.
1 all signed docs go to user x because they are a contracts admin. User x changes roles in the company and user y is now the admin. No way, through EchoSign, to redirect docs that were in process at the time of the change to user y.
2 company x is acquired and the now have a new legal department where all contracts have to go so we add [email protected] to the email addresses. No way, through EchoSign, to accomplish.

HT203167 I had a previous iTunes account with another email address. Somehow when I bought a macbook Pro I created a new apple id and I can't access my old itunes account. Can anyone help me with this? Frustrated with myself.

I purchased a MacBook pro and in my learning how to use it, being so different, I created another apple id and now I can't access my old account or purchases... If you have purchases on your iPod Shuffle that you want to sync back to iTunes, but are under the Apple ID you no longer have access to, you'll need to reset that account information. You can use this link to reset your password.

If that doesn' work or help, you'll need to contact iTunes support and have them walk you through the process of resetting the older account information. Once you know the email and password again, you can authorize your new computer and transfer any purchases from this account back to iTunes.
For all non-iTunes purchased content, you'll need to the assistance of some sort of third party software that is not supported by Apple. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

Yes. I use three different emil addresses on my other devices instead of my Apple ID. You need to setup messages with your Apple ID and then you can add another email address to use instead to the Apple ID email.

Changing one account to another is rarely successful. Always better to add an account rather than modify an old one. That's how Thunderbird is designed to work.

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store alert. For example, the App Store could prompt you to update "Angry Birds" or "Twitter," but the hacked app could be "Final Cut Pro." Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you must carry out a systematic search with Spotlight.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

5. Quit and relaunch the App Store. Test.
If you find these instructions confusing, ask for an alternative method.

Does FaceTime send an automatic text message to the email address of the user trying to call me?

I called my friend's cell phone, via FaceTime, on my macbook using my email address.
The call said she was unavailable, and immediately after, I received a text message to my email address from her cell phone number saying "can't talk right now, what's up". I thought it was strange since she never texts my email from her phone, and I had never received a message like that from FaceTime before.
She said she never sent the email. Is it possible FaceTime does it automatically, and why all of a sudden now? Or, was her cell hacked, or it was just her?

From your post where you received a message indicating the person you were contacting was busy, indicates they elected to send a message and decline the call, thus sending the message to your email.
Can’t take a call right now? When a FaceTime call comes in, you can answer, decline, or choose another option.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

You don't FaceTime with an email address. You FaceTime with an Apple ID. Apple IDs use, as the user name, an email address but they are not the email address.

So... I go to the AOL mailbox, sign in as usual, the little box is coming down, and I click on save ... ah ha
If I am on another computer, I will open Firefox ... enter the master password ... and move on as usual? ... because all this is on Firefox servers.

I have tried deleting the account and it deletes all my contacts. I have verizon and even using back up assistant, it says the contacts are there but they aren't. The only way i can find a contact is if I start to type a name in and new text but once i sent the new text, the name disappears and it just shows the number. Siri nor the address book don't recognize any contacts at all.

I cant find any reciept in my email or in my husbands email. I am going to attempt to call and speak to someone who can help me because this was not my fault except trying to be normal and update my phone!
