Copying Inspection results from inspection lot.

Dear All,
Please explain me the process of copying inspection results in QM. Following is my clients requirement:
During receiving inspection they receive the same material in say 10 batches (coils). They want to create the independent batch for  each coils of same material for tracking mechanism, so I  don't have any option to generate that many number of lots.
Out of this 10 lots, say there are 2 masters (mother coils). Means there are two set of characteristics only which i need to copy for 5 lots each.
As I  learn from SDN, EA - PLM  need to be activated . But I don't know what are the  adverse effects of activating  same.
Please explain me the process.
Best Regards.
Shekhar Mokashi

Hi Shekhar,
Refer the OSS note 855959 - Activation of Extension Sets via SPRO not successful.
I think all your doubts regarding to this Enhancement package will get resolved.
The big warning is given there in that note itself about implementing the EA-PLM enhancement is.....
Once an Enterprise extension set has been activated, it cannot be de-activated by de-selecting the option in the SPRO or otherwise, because BC Set activations cannot be undone.
Appart from that note refer the document for
Release Notes

the link for the same is pasted here FYI.

Even after this much stuff completion, you don't have your doubt cleared up then I would advice you to ask the question in [ SAP Enhancement Packages|/community [original link is broken]; forum.
Regards with lots of good luck wishes.

  • Copy the inspection  result  from one lot to multiples lots!!

    Hi SAP expert,
    I want to copy the inspection  result  from one lot to multiples lots, currently i know how to setup  the copy to another lot(SAML Response from SAP ID Service ) , but  i dont know to do to multiples lot.
    ¿Someone can help me?
    Thank you

    First you have to customizing the functionality of Copy of Inspection Results using the following path, where you have to entry the inspection types, plant .etc., where you want to have the functionality.
    SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Inspection -> Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results
    Then when you are in Record Result screen you select Menu -> Edit -> Copy Inspection Results ,
    then a pop-up window is displayed and you filled in with the inspection lot which has the results and then another pop-up window is displayed to select the characteristics that you want to copy.

  • Reg: Copying inspection results from inspection( 04) to inspection type (!0

    Dear Friends ,
    I have configured for Quality certificate.
    At the time of delivery , the system will create an inspection lot.
    To make delivery we need to carry out RR and UD once again.
    Can we copy inspection results of inspection type (04) to inspection type 10 , as we are maintaining  the same results of inspection type (04). Also can we sit as background whenever a lot is created with lot origin(10) , automatically it has to copy the results from inspection  type 04 .
    Thanks in advance.

    HI Dear,
    As you said  , it is for COA.
    And the materials are not batch manged.
    Is there any possibility  of copying the results of 04 inspection lot to inspection type 10 lot  , which is created at the time of PGI.
    Because untill and unless RR and UD is made sales people will be not able to  make the delivery . if there are multiple lots , it takes
    time for them to carry out RR and UD.
    Thanks for your reply!!!

  • QM: Copying inspection results to another lot

    Experts,
    has anyone experience with automatic copying closed inspection results from one inspection lot to another one?
    Rgds

    Having seen some of your other postings and queries I'm wondering if your issue can't be solved by batch derivation or batch characteristic inheritance?  These are available in 6.0.  Not sure of your version.  By using these functions, you can avoid creating a lot of your inspection lots possibly.
    You can read up on these at:

  • How to progammatically get Inspection Characteristics from Inspection Plan

    How do I programmatically get Inspection Characteristics from an inspection plan? I am currently getting inspection characteristics from inspection lots via a QM-IDI RFC call (QIRF_SEND_REQUIREMENTS_GET_DAT2), but if the Inspection Characteristic is not in an inspection lot, I don't get it via the RFC call. What BAPI/RFC/IDOCS mechanism can I use from an external subsystem (VB.NET app) to get inspection characteristics (Spec Limits, Target, Operation, Activity) associated with a material in an inspection plan?
    Thanks,
    Ed

    The problem is the SAP system that my external subsystem (VB.NET application using QM-IDI) is interfacing with does not have inspection lots (and the customer is not willing to add inspection lots), so the QM-IDI RFC that I'm using (QIRF_SEND_REQUIREMENTS_GET_DAT2) does not return the inspection characteristics (spec limits, etc) that I require. My customer creates a reference (QP11) with inspection characteristics, then attaches the reference to a Material (QP01). When I try to get the inspection characteristics for the material via QIRF_SEND_REQUIREMENTS_GET_DAT2, I don't get the inspection characteristics because there is no inspection lot associated with the material and inspection characteristics.
    The design is for my external subsystem to do the Material Inspection Characteristic valuation, and then send the valuation results back to SAP. Is there a way to get Material Inspection Characteristics and then send the results back given the SAP setup I described above?
    Thanks,
    Ed

  • Copy Inspection Results of one lot to other lots at a time

    Dear Experts,
                         As per settings made under "Make Settings for Copy of Inspection Results" I am able to copy inspection results but still I am not getting what I exactly want. Below are different requirements explained in details
    1. I am not able to copy twice on the same lot. e.g. if a lot has status RREC i.e. RR has been done then if at a later time I want to copy some other results over here then it's not happening.
    In help.sap page somewhere it is mentioned that copy is possible if lot has status CALC. I want to have some configuration which I don't know for which SAP should allow the copy functionality with status RREC also.
    2. By above functionality I want to do RR for several lots collectively at a time. E.g. if I have 100 lots then with same quality results it's tedious to copy results for each one by one. Like "QA16 - Collective Usage Decision" I didn't find any similar transaction for results recording(collectively).
    3. Although my results are being copied from one lot another but MIC valuation are not being transferred given that I am not using any sampling procedure. I want manual valuation to be copied to the destination lots.
    Any valuable suggestion will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,

    Dear,
    it is not clear from your question.
    Please get more details,
    In which release you are working?
    In SPRO what special setting you made for this special case
    Inspection origin is linked with no range/TL type/insp type.
    Wher exactly you set this new configuration.

  • Copy Net Result from Many Accounts to An Account

    Hi All,
    I want to copy Net Result for all products to an account for a product.
    Accounts :
    ACT = Technical Account
    AC1 = account
    Products :
    P1 = Product1
    P2 = Product 2
    NA = Na product
    With Property : I've tried to copy a list of accounts using property
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET RPTCURRENCY=LC
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET INTCO=NON_INTERCO
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET MEASURES=YTD
    *WHEN ACCOUNT.PROPERTY
           *IS INCOME
                *REC(FACTOR=-1,ACCOUNT="AC1",PRODUCT="NA")
    *ENDWHEN
    *COMMIT
    This solution copy only the last value of account list.
    With Business Rules and script logic :
    I use Business Rules to copy list account to an account -> List of account in ACT
    Logic to copy all products of ACT in NA Product of AC1
    *FOR %PRODUCTL%=P1,P2,NA
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET ACCOUNT=ACT
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET DATASRC=INPUT
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET RPTCURRENCY=LC
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET INTCO=NON_INTERCO
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET MEASURES=YTD
    *WHEN PRODUCT_LINE
             *IS %PRODUCTL%
                     *REC(ACCOUNT="AC1",PRODUCT="NA")
    *ENDWHEN
    *COMMIT
    *NEXT
    OR
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET ACCOUNT=ACT
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET DATASRC=INPUT
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET RPTCURRENCY=LC
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET INTCO=NON_INTERCO
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET MEASURES=YTD
    *REC(ACCOUNT="AC1",PRODUCT="NA")
    *COMMIT
    The 2 solutions does not work. It copy ACT of NA product in AC1 of NA Product and I want to copy all products of ACT in NA product of AC1.
    Any Idea ?
    KR,
    Samir

    Hi,
    Try with the following code
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET RPTCURRENCY=LC
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET INTCO=NON_INTERCO
    *WHEN ACCOUNT.PROPERTY
           *IS INCOME
                *REC(EXPRESSION=%VALUE%,ACCOUNT="AC1",PRODUCT="NA")
    *ENDWHEN
    *COMMIT
    After this, if you want to invert the sign, you can add the following before the *COMMIT
    *WHEN ACCOUNT
    *IS AC1
    *REC(FACTOR=-1)
    *ENDWHEN
    Try to run the script using the debugger and see whether the result is correct or not.
    Hope this helps.
    I have removed the statement *XDIM_MEMBERSET MEASURES=YTD

  • How to copy Inspection Results into Inspection Lot in Good Recipt Process

    Dear Members,
    I am working on a Automatic copy of MIC values [Micro Inspection Characteristics (CML 260-CML 299)] into a batch(new) and Inspection lot( QA32 - Results Screen) in Goods Receipt process(Process order) using MB31.
    I have successfully implemented the customer Exit (EXIT_SAPMM07M_004) for copy MIC values to Batch(Batch Records only).
    But I am not able to find out the proper process or User-Exits to update the same MIC values into Inspection lot which is being created in the same GR process for the order.
    Can anyone please share your experience or tips on this requirement?
    Thanks,

  • VBAI dotnet C# Reading inspection results from a 1776C

    I have a 1776C smart camera running VBAI. I found the dotcom example in the API Examples folder. That example runs fine on my machine.
    However, I am having problems figuring out how to get to the inpsection results. They do not appear to be part of engine.GetInspectionResults nor can I get them from engine.GetInspectionMeasurements.
    I have an inspection running on my camera that only captures a new image and then measures a circle. I want to get to the X and Y locations (in pixels) as well as the diameter (in pixels).
    I have outputted almost all the potential arrays,strings and numerics, but none seem to hold this info. Am I looking at using the wrong calls? Do these not carry these results?
    Here are couple of lines of code:
    engine.GetInspectionResults(out timeStamp, outinspectionStatus);
    StepResult[] myResultArray = engine.GetInspectionResults(out timeStamp, out inspectionStatus);
    and:
    string[] arr1 = newstring[] { myInspSteps[1].stepGUID.ToString() };
    engine.EnableInspectionMeasurements();
    InspectionMeasurements[] myMeasurements = engine.GetInspectionMeasurements(arr1, outtimeStamp);
    SingleMeasurementmySingleMeas = myStepMeas[0].measurement;
    ArrayMeasurement myArrMeas = mySingleMeas.arrayData;
    I tried both routes but not been able to find what I need.
    Thanks, Jan.

    Never mind. Figured it out:
    InspectionMeasurements[] measuresLT;
    engine.RunInspectionOnce(-1);
    measuresLT = engine.GetInspectionMeasurements(null, out timeStamp);
    foreach (InspectionMeasurements i1 in measuresLT)
    foreach (StepMeasurements s1 in myStepRes)
    string myRes = mySingMeas.numData.ToString();
    if (!(myRes == "0"))
    MessageBox.Show("singMeas = "+ myRes);

  • Copy Appraisal Results From Previous (MBO)

    Hi:
    There is a business requirement to populate the "criteria" and "notes" from previous year's appraisal form.
    This must be populated when the appraisal form is launched.
    I probably should be using a BADI for this. However, I don't know which function module I should use.
    I hope experts in this forum can help me. Any help is appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Ash

    Hello Ash,
    You can use the Value Determination BADI to default value in the VC.
    There are some standad BADIs implementation in the following definition:
    HRHAP00_VAL_DET     Appraisal Document - Value Determination
    You may copy/create your own custom implementation from the standard.

  • Inspection results for more than one lot

    How do i see inspection results for different lots of the same material together in a single screen. Is there any standard report or query available in SAP?
    Prahlad

    Dear Prahlad
    You can see it in ways
    1) Go to QS28. Input the plant and the mic and execute. You will get MIC details. Choose the MIC and click on Result history. A pop will appear Result history Limit Selection. In the Time Tab you can see inspection lot selection date From and To. Execute you will get the entire list of lots
    3) Go to QA33 > result> Select the Mic> go Result historyhistory >In the Time Tab you can see inspection lot selection date From and To. Execute you will get the entire list of lots with all values and charts
    4) standard reports such MCXD,QGP1 can be used
    Hope this helps

  • Inspection result to multiple batches

    Hello,
    For my client, I need to figure out a way to get the inspection results from QM into multiple batches. Is there a simple (standard) way to do this?
    The situation is that my client produces 3 batches at once. Samples for analysis are only taken from 1 of those 3 batches. After the analyses, at the usage decision, the values need to be copied into the characteristics of all 3 batches.
    Anyone can help me out with this one?

    Hi,
    That means you have only one inspection lot(manually created) for the production of 3 batches. But you can link only one material/one batch to an inspection lot in SAP. In your case, you can record the results for 1 batch and maintain the other batches in text field(that Inspection not required for other 2 batches).
    By the way which inspectin type are you using?

  • Copy  result  to one lot  to all lots

    hear i faced one  business senario  i done  settings  copy inspection results to  one lot to another lot  now  business requirement is  copy inspection result one lot to all lots means i have  01 inspection  type  lots  10 i recorded result one lot  then i want to copy to result  all lots in one shot  is it possible  in sap  if it is possible kindly tell solo

    No its Not possible.Actually process of the copy of Inspection result form one lot to other Automatically/manually is triggered when you go inside the inspection lot to which it has to be transferred.Then you select the lot from the list from where you want to transfer.
    So mass copy is really not possible.
    You may have to create the program customized for the same.
