Copying LT01 to ZTCode - GUI Status is not shown

Hi All,
I have copied LT01 TCode to ZLT01 including programs, screens, variants and user interface etc.. Then activated the Program. When I executed the TCode ZLT01 GUI status and tiltes are not shown. Only "System" and "Help" on menu bar are showing on the screen and others which are in standarda TCode LT01 are not shown.
Please suggest me how to proceed on this.

Hi Deniz,
1. go to se41 and give your pgm name and status like 'screen1'.
2. In Function Keys field click the + Icon.
3. Write the function codes like Back, Exit and cancel in each columns.
4. Save and Activate.
Then in ur program write the below code,
Case sy-ucomm.
when 'exit'.
leave program.
end case.

Sync status is not shown correctly, and not completing

I attached my 16GB Nano 6th gen to my PC last night. I'm running iTunes 10.0.0.68 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. When copying music I noticed that iTunes would show "syncing" while the Nano didn't, and vice versa. Mostly I'd see the rotating icon on the Nano while iTunes would show no activity. After copying about 9GB of music to the Nano I disconnected (ejecting from iTunes first).
This morning I connected and expected to see at least brief indication of backup, but there was none. I copied a couple more albums to the Nano and again saw no indication on iTunes, but the Nano had the syncing icon. When I ejected my Nano I got this message:
"The iPod "xxx" cannot be ejected because it contains files that are in use by another application.".
The sync icon on my Nano then resumed rotating. It's been doing so for 10 minutes and the fine-print says "Do not disconnect". I'm going to because I'm off to work. But clearly something isn't right.
I sync an iPod and iPad with iTunes without issues.

I'm having exactly the same problem with my 80gb ipod on my new laptop which is also running Windows 7 64 bit and iTunes 10.1.1.4.
I initially just tried syncing photos and according to iTunes it was still syncing after 4 hours, this was for 6700 photos and I wasn't asking for full resolution, but iPod just said Connected - Eject before disconnecting. I couldn't disconnect and in the end had to close iTunes before disconnecting, then there were no photos on the iPod.
Disconnected, rebooted then when I connected the iPod I got the message that it was synced to another PC which I expected so i click to erase and synch, iPod initially showed synching then went to Connected - eject message but itunes was saying "finishing synch" it showed this for hours and out of 6543 songs on the PC it was onlt showing 6002 on iPod. I stopped the synch trie dejecting but got same message Iancenaz got. Again had to close iTunes before I could disconnect iPod safely.
I'm going to try synching it back on mhy old laptop which is running Windows XP and an older version of iTunes as I suspect its either a Windows 7 or iTunes 10 problem.

Creating GUI status

I am creating gui status in a function group from se80
I created same menu in two different gui statuses.
I want different fields in the menu.
I have 'goto' menu in first and second gui status.
I want different fields in the 'goto' menu in both gui statuses
when i change the fields of the menu in one gui status it automatically changes in the second guistatus

Try this..
Delete the second gui status...
Then create the second gui status by not copying...
add the menu and function codes one by one...and then when you enter the same menu..it will ask whether do you want to copy the existing menu or create new menu....here say create new menu....It should work..

ALV grid to list processing and GUI status

Hi,
In a customized program the report output is in ALV grid which is interactive. On selecting a record and pressing SAVE button a BAPI runs in background. In order to display BAPI error message the leave to list-processing has been used. But GUI status is not working in list display and can not exit or go back from here to main selection screen.
when try to see program name & screen no it displays
Program - SAPLKKBL
Menu - STANDARD_FULLSCREEN
pls advise how to go back from list to main screen or ALV output.

Hi Anya,
As per my understanding, this is your prog flow:
*Main ALV Display.
*Select record.
*Click on Button SAVE.
*Handle Event.
*Call BAPI for processing based on selection.
Now at this point why dont you colect the error messages from the BAPI, and display it in a POP-UP ALV display?
You need not e very much worried about the PF status and all. Also this POP-UP will be placed on the MAIN ALV. So when you close the POP-UP it will come back to the main ALV.
By this when you press the BACK button of the main ALV, it will take you back to the selection scree.
Please let me know if i am missing something.

Transport of gui status

Hi there,
I have attempted to deploy some ABAP code which was developed in 4.7 into a 4.6b environment. Mysteriously the GUI statuses have not gone with the transport. Does this need to be added explicitly to the transport objects when going across versions like this ? Is it to do with the way objects are organised in packages as oppose to dev classes ?
(When I deployed the code in another 4.7 box it worked fine)

I would suggest you to look up in SE11 transaction, for table <b>E071</b>, check for object type '<b>CUAD</b>' <-- GUI Status for your program name in your 4.7 box.

How to copy GUI status to new program

Hi all,
In report A, i have GUI status with lot of menu bar activities. i need to create one more report B, with the same GUI status. Is there any option to copy/download from Report A to paste/upload to the new report B.
Note: Both the Reports are in different SAP Systems.
Please suggest.

Hi,
You can do this:
go to Transaction se90. Drill down to Program library -> program sub objects -> Double click on GUI Status.
In the program name enter Your PROGRAM NAME and press execute. now select check box beside <Your GUI STATUS which you want to copy>. and in the menu click on GUI Status -> Copy.
Now copy it to ur B report pf status.
or
goto se80 select Program enter your program name then under GUI Status right click on your gui ststus which you want to copy and press copy and enter your B Report name.,

Problem in copying GUI status

Hi Experts,
I have created a report using ALV object model in EN language.
For this report i have copied standard GUI status to ZGUI status in language EN.
Now when i execute this report in German login. All the texts in ZGUI are displayed in ENGLISH. Where as if i check standard GUI status, it is displayed in login language.
Please tell why standard texts in ZGUI status are not displayed in logon language or is there any special way to copy GUI status so that they are copied as language dependent.

Just for the record, as i have been digging about this same thing, without finding a clear answer anywhere.
As translation texts are not copied copying only the status, as hinted somewhere else, you can copy the whole function group into a Z (without the methods).
Then in the new Zfunction group you can create copies of the standard status adding your customer needs (new menus/buttons), and translating just the new items (for use in external programs).
Then when creating your alv reports instead of using status from its own program, use the status from this Zfunction group.
(Using "CL_SALV_MODEL_BASE->SET_SCREEN_STATUS" you can use status from other programs).

OSS Note 1401249 - Issue in GUI status

Hi ,
As per 1401249 Note instructions, i need to add a new push button 'Display Income Levy Data', in the standard report HIECILC0 .
In SE41 , I am giving the program name HIECILC0 and Status 'ALV', when I click on Change button, I see 'Modify Status ALV in program HIECILC0' , where as in the Note instructions screen shot it is given as 'Maintain Status ALV in program HIECILC0'.
Have anyone faced this issue before, why is it 'Modify Status ALV in program HIECILC0' instead of 'Maintain Status ALV in program HIECILC0'.
I am not able follow the same steps given in the Note instruction because of this issue.
Please let me know how to proceed with this.

Thanks for replay. Actually, the SE80->program->Gui status have some objects and they are already transfered. But I can't see them on target system. But When I create exactly the same name, the system tell me they are already created. I think it becuase the original language is 'DE' but I use default language 'EN' to modify and create the request?

Urgent : program to copy or download GUI status

I have to copy Screens and GUI status, GUI titles from one SAP sysytem to another SAP system. Do anyone have the solution for it.
Or any program that could download to local system and then to upload the GUI Status and Screens to another syatem....

Hi Govind,
You can download the entire code one by one in simple flat file and can upload the same in the target system. It will reduce a lot of effort on your part. But as for the screens I think you need to put the data elements again. But you can check it as I have never tried.
The process to upload and Download the entire code is given below:
To download
SE80->Utilities->More Utilities->Upload/Download->Download. ( use this to download in a simple flat file.)
To Upload
SE80->Utilities->More Utilities->Upload/Download->Upload. ( now upload the simple file in the target system in the same way.)

Sales order status is not Closed when copy to AR Invoice

Hi,
Are there any known scenarios where sales order status is not changed to Closed and SO open qty not changed to zero after SO is fully copied to AR Invoice?

1. For this case, the sales order line status is not closed and the open qty is also not zero although the SO qty are fully invoiced
2. Customer SBO version is 8.8 PL13.
3. There is no SP_TransactionNotification created in this customer environment.
FYI, there is no target entry shown in the sales order document as well. Hence, customer is not able to trace which open sales order has been copied to an AR Invoice target document.
Customer has a few scenarios for the above issue:
1. Multiple Sales orders copied to 1 AR Invoice.
2. One sales order to many AR Invoice.
Since there is no target entry updated in the sales order, is there any SQL query to check which sales order has been copied to a AR Invoice document to rectify the above issue.

Copy GUI Status with all languages

Hi,
this is my situation:
I copied an existing GUI Status (function group SALV, status STANDARD) to a newly created report. Original languiage for the status is German, for my report is English.
Only the German texts have been copied.
How can I copy all existing languages without changing the original language of my report?

I am afraid you need to do one by one.
Please go to SE41 and give the program name and status name. In menu choose GO TO ->Translation.
or try t/code SE63.

Go to se41 tcode and click on copy interface there give the standard interface and ur program name and same for the status also click on copy status give the source status name and the target status name, then the status will be copied to ur program.
