Copying pages and states.

Is there a way to copy or import a page with different states into another fireworks document? I can't seem to find an easy way of doing this. Cutting and pasting does nothing but copy the images. Basically what I'm looking for is a way to append one document into another.

Assumming you have the target (.png) file already saved to disk
-- In another document File > Import that .png file and the Pages/States should come in.
One caveat: If the target import file has multiple pages, make sure the one you want to import is the top most Page in the Pages panel. Fw currently only imports a single page (top most) from a native multipage png file.

Whoever told you that was misinformed or lying. Those applications are sold separately for the iOS platform and the Mac platform.
Go to the Mac App Store to purchase Pages and Numbers for your Mac. They're $20 each. If you are running an older version of Mac OS X that can't use the Mac App Store, you can purchase install media from Apple.

How to remove "About this Page" and "Privacy Statement" on a OA page

How do i remove "About this Page" and "Privacy Statement" links at the bottom of an OA page and add "Close Window" link on the top right corner of OA page.

Hi,
1. Select Personalize Page link at top right of page.
2. Select Choose context button.
3. In the scope drop down box select OA Footer.
4. Click on apply.
5. Expand privacy.
6. Click on personalize pencil icon.
7. Set Rendered property to false at required level.
8. Click on apply.
9. Click on Return to Application link.

Have you done much JavaScript programming in Acrobat? Are you asking for the specific code or for guidance as to what methods you need to use? All of what you listed is possible with JavaScript.

After installing, boot holding down CMD+s, then when the prompt shows, type in...

Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
Fixes a lot of problems, and besides, if your Mac ever gets to the point it won't Boot... this is a life saver!
After you run that... let's see where we are.

You can't expect Mail to support all the objects of Pages which can include anything up to charts generated from spreadsheet tables.
Even if Mail was a superset of Pages, what would the recipients who don't have either Mail or Pages, make of it?

I think it depends on what you are trying to copy.
To copy, put your finger on the text and hold until the copy thing shows up. Adjust the size to whatnyou want, then touch copy.( I know, you already knew that). To paste, touch the screen where you want it to go until the paste thing shows up.
I just did it
glass, metal and minimalist design. Two. ( pasted from a web page)
Some pages are set up so that you cannot copy words or images.
So try a different page to see if you are doing it right.
If you want, post the link to the page and we call all try it as well.

Copying a page and sending it in an email

I am trying to copy a whole page and then send it in an email. When I do this the pictures are just a bunch of letters. I tryed to download and save and it does the same thing. I think I need to save as RTF but I dont know how to do so..

To copy a page from Safari and send it from OS X 10.4.2 I just hit "Command-I" and the page comes up in Mail ready to address and send.

I suspect that the webpart the user added is putting a large amount of data into the page's Viewstate.

IWork(Keynote, pages and numbers) doesn't work well about the issue of copy & paste problem

I think so, too. the Keynote 6.5 is not working well on Yosemite (Mac OS X 10.10.1).
In my case, I can't copy & paste from some program(particularly analysis program in my case) to Keynote.
So, when I check coping & pasting the graph or image and so on to Powerpoint and other programs (one of Office is such word and 3rd programs), It works well. However It doesn't work at Keynote, page and numbers.
Also, I tried to do the following process to solve this issue

Something is wrong with your installation of Keynote
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:
1 delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote by using AppDelete.
2 restart the Mac;   Apple menu > restart
3 immediately after the start chime, press the shift key until you see the Apple symbol.
         let it fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive
4 when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and      click repair disc permissions
5 when complete, restart the Mac normally
6 install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Keynote 6.5 is stable and reliable under Yosemite for most users.
As with all new operating systems and applications, a small number of users find a few problems.
Copy and pasting text from and into Keynote from all the applications I have, work perfectly: the applications include; Safari, Mail, Word, PowerPoint, excel, Pages, Numbers, iMovie, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
If you want to place graphics into Keynote, use one of the following methods:
Insert > Coose
click the media button on an image placehoder
click the media button on the tool bar
drag and drop from a Finder window
Copy and pasting images into Keynote is not supported

Just do a Remove All.
I would first find two consecutive EOL characters and replace with an extra line feed or a visible marker like an ampersand. Then Remove All EOL characters. Then replace all the all the ampersands with a CR/LF. It's pretty quick. A lot quicker than trying to remove 500 EOL characters one at a time.
Or, ask the sender to create the document in a word processor, zip it, then send it to you.
