Copying text object to multiple still menu views

I am fairly new to this program. I have multiple still menu views on my graphical tab. I need to change one text object for multiple still menu views at the same time. As of now, highlighting all and changing the text object only changes one view. Is this possible and does anyone know how to do this??

You can't. Each one has to be made individually, you can of course use copy & paste to do this.

Copy text out of multiple word documents

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if it is at all possible to copy ALL the text from multiple word documents and place it into one. So basically bringing 6+ documents into 1.
I've done some google searches and have come a cross this:
New-Object -comobject Word.Application
But not sure if I can do what I want it to do. Any help/links would be a massive help.

Copy text fields and drop down menu fields

Hi,
Using LiveCycle Designer ES, I am making a simple form with some text fields and along with some drop-down menu fields. With the resulting pdf, I need for one to be able to select the appropriate selection in the drop-down menus. Then using cntl-a to select everything and then cntl-v to copy it into a text document. This approach will only copy the text fields and not what is showing in the drop-down menu field. Is there any way to solve this problem? The end users computer has limited tools and software cannot be installed on it.

I don't really know if the text field can be selected using Ctl+a, but if that is possible how about adding extra text field that is linked to pulldown menu?
If the usage of the PDF is only for copying, then I would make a formcalc or javascript to combine all the text into one text field so that user only need to copy paste one field.

Copy/Paste Keyframes for multiple stills?

Is there a way to use the keyframe motion that is set for one still picture and copy and paste it to a group of still pictures in a row (if all images are the same length)? I am doing a slideshow of pictures in FCE and was hoping to find a way to save time by using the settings for one image for all of my images.

Click on the clip on the timeline that has the motion keyframe effect you want to copy to select it.
Type Command + C to copy the clip.
Select all the clips you want to paste the motion keyframe effect to (hold the shift key down while clicking on the clips).
Once selected, type Option + V to bring up the paste attributes window, and click on the checkboxes for the attributes you want to paste to the selected clips.
Click OK.

Copying Text Variables still crashes In Design CS6

Ya I found what was blocking my text fields in my desktop.css
I primarily work through code view, and currently working on quite a few projects kind of makes your eyes miss the small errors.

I am just about giving up! I have upgraded Pages to 0.9 4.3. Now when i copy text from an incoming email and paste it it pastes in as an Object and I can't work on it.

I am just about giving up! I have upgraded Pages to 0.9 (4.3). Now when I copy text from an incoming email and paste it into Pages it pastes in as an Object and I can't work on it. It has a border round it and corner markers. I have never had this problem before. I have looked at every conceivable thing but cannot find how to get rid of this Object and just paste in the wanted text. If I fiddle and fiddle within this text I can eventually get a cursor and work on the text - but how on earth can I get rid of the surrounding box?
I don't know if this is at all clear but I can't think of any other way to describe this - but it looks like this in Pages with corner and top, bottom and side markers.

Peter hello - I have been copying and pasting for as long as I can remember and it has NEVER done this before - so why now!? Anyway, Jerry has told me about Paste and Match Style --- yet another new thing!
I have also discovered that I don''t need to hold down Option when I go to Save to get Save As - I can hold down 4 keys (shift, option, command and S) and it will bring up Save As!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. You actually solved the problem. I am able to select as much text as I want now. The bummer is the lame feature where you cannot take more than a couple hundred words at a time. The section I wanted was about one and a half pages and it took me 3 separate copy pastes to get it all. Does anyone know of software or a trick to overcome this limitation?

Multiple text colors in my spry menu

Can I make multiple text colors in my spry menu? I want to match the text color on one of my spry menu items to the hover color so that you know which link you are currently visiting. I haven't posted the site yet until I work out all the kinks. So, to summarize, I have my spry menu link text color (ul.MenuBarVertical a) set to #E00 and my hover color for those items (ul.MenuBarVertical a.MenuBarItemHover) set to #888. All of the links also contain the same spry menu. I would like the link you're currently in to be #888 and the other links to be #E00 with all of them hovering with color #888. How can I give unique color to an individual menu item? Any help you can give is much appreciated!

but it does not leave KONTAKT highlighted.

You can't expect Mail to support all the objects of Pages which can include anything up to charts generated from spreadsheet tables.
Even if Mail was a superset of Pages, what would the recipients who don't have either Mail or Pages, make of it?

One pair of radio buttons to control multiple text objects - Designer 8.0

Greetings - a big thank you in advance for any assistance. I have often found answers to my problems on this forum, but have been unable to find an answer to the following.
The short of it - is it possible to make a pair of radio buttons control the visibility of multiple text objects with the same name(I have had success in manipulating only a single text object with one pair of buttons)?
The long of it - I am trying to make a form bilingual based on the value of a radio button group to control the visibility of the text object in the selected language. When the user selects the language they wish to see, all the text objects in the form switch to that language. I am working with a dynamic PDF.
I have succeeded to a very limited extent in manipulating one text object by overlaying text objects in both languages, setting one object to "invisible" as default, and controlling that text objects visibility with the following JavaScript in the click event of the radio button group:

The problem is I need to manipulate the visibility of all text objects with the same name on the form with a single radio button group. I have tried writing the code as one does for the sum of a repeating field, ie. English[*].presence etc. however I get a C++ error in preview.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I am truly stumped - thank you for your time.

To access objects with the same name you need to deal with occurance numbers. If your object is called TextField then the 1st occurance will be TextField[0], the second occurance will be TextField[1] etc.....
The issue is that the [] in javascript are interpretted as an array element so you have to use the syntax: xfa.reolveNode("string") to get to your object names. In your case you would use:
xfa.resolveNode("TextField[1]").presence = "visible"
This string syntax allows you to use a var to hold the index number and is very useful with for loops where you want to set large numbers of objects. So if the index was held in the var i then your syntax would be:
xfa.resolveNode("TextField[" + i + "]").presence = "visible"
If the objects are in a repeating subform then the occurance numbers are on the subform and not the object. You can always get the expression to use by app.alert(objectname.somExpression). This will return the expression that you need to create.

Copy text from multiple fields to one field

I would like to copy text from multiple fields into one field. Each of these smaller fields will only be allowed to have one character. The larger field will not be able to be edited.
So far, I have thought of creating a naming heirarchy for these fields. I was going to then call upon the array of the parent and set the value of the parent to equal this array.

v = a + " " + v; //Im guessing this line is incorrect
parent.value = a;
Any suggestions? or a better way of doing this.

The code sample you provided is using AcroForm scripting and will not work in this form. There is another post similar to this one...have a look at this one it might help you out. It is doing the opposite of what you want but the concept of the loop and how each field is addressed inside ofthe loop is what you wil need.

WebView - text copied with Crtl/C or Popup Menu not in system clipboard!

Dear JavaFX users,
We have embedded JavaFX WebView in a Swing panel. Everything works fine, but we have realized that text selected and copied with Crtl/C or Popup Menu is not in the system clipboard.
This is quite annoying, and we woulld appreciate any advice or suggestion for solving this issue.

     I want to implement view object with multiple updateable entity object,

     but when we have more then 5 tables and each table have Primary keys , Foreign key , Sequence and trigger created on it. Then whats steps should i want to fallow.

In 'How to' section on the 'otn.oracle.com' (Jdeveloper) web site is tutorial how to implement a View Object with multiple updateable dependent entity objects.
It allows user to insert an employee and a department at the same time.
But I would like to change this example to insert a new department only if it does not already exist. How to change this sample?
Is there any other way to this?
