Copying the forecast of a product to other products

Hi Gurus,
we have a specific situation where we would like to copy the forecast of the Product1 at time periods T1, T2, T3, T4 to another Product 2 and forecast of the Product1 at time periods T5, T6, T7 to another product3
can realignment copy function be used to achieve this but how..can you share your ideas..any other workaround are also welcome.. Thanks

The realignment will not work in your case. I will suggest you to check for /SAPAPO/MSDP_FCST1 - Lifecycle Planning which can fulfill you requirement.

We have one SFC label that is not readable. We know the serial number but how to re-label the product with new SFC and copy the data from the previous one?
Problem is that the SFC is for panel product with three locations and all locations have assembly and NC data.

I would suggest to test using the SFC Reassignment activity or Re-label activities.

How do I copy the introduction of a project to other projects?

I am trying to find out how to copy the introduction (video clip + title + audio clip) of my video series from one project to another.... so far, the only information I can find tells me to 'open both projects at once'.... I have searched everywhere and cannot figure out how to open multiple projects at once.... i can copy the video clip to a new project, but the title and audio track don't come with it... they won't drag and drop nor copy and paste into the new project. I plan to have many episodes of my video series, and want my standard introduction to be at the beginning of each new project, without having to do the title and audio from scratch each time, like i am doing now.

Does this mean I would have to then delete all the other clips/audio, etc from the new, duplicated project? Surely there must be a way to just copy one section into a new project. I start making some of the new projects in advance, and want to drop the intro into the beginning... if I already have the next three or four 'episodes' (projects) already started, the duplication thing won't work.....

From the SAP standard menu, choose SE71.
On the Form Painter: Request screen:
1)Enter the name of the form (ZORDER01) in the Form field.
2)Enter DE in the Language field.
3)Click created and press OK.
4)From menu bar, choose form->copy from
5)In the popup, give formname as (ZORDER01) and language as EN and click ok.
6)Save the form and activate it.

What does " copy to another user" mean?
You can attach the variant to a Transport through prog. RSTRANSP and move to subsequent systems.

My Ipod Touch drained battery, I then didn't use it for a week, went to charge it and I get nothing, only a black screen. HELP!!! It is not the cord, I tried it on other products and the usb cord works fine. I need to charge so I can use.

My battery drained on my Ipod Touch. I did not end up using it for a week. Yesterday I charged it with my USB to the computer, came back the next morning and it was still dead. I then tried charging it on my laptop....same thing. Went through the tech support things about holding the two buttons down for system restore....nothing. Please HELP.

Give it time. Even plugged in the battery needs to have a certain amount of power to power the screen.
Leave it on the charger for a couple of hours and hten see if it'll turn on.

f there about 20 organization units among which 6 org.units have same positions and same relationships ,i know that we can create one org.units and their relationships among 6 similar org.units and then copy the same position and relationships to other 5 org.units as well instead of individually creating positions and assigning relationships to them which results in wasting a quality time.but i dont know how to copy it? so please help me by informing me in details how to copy the positions n their relationships to other org units.

Hi.
This may sound like a bit of a pain in the *** but why not save the channel strip settings into your own folder then that way you can open them up in other songs and you have some channel strips to try out when you cant find anything else to fit. Plus its fun to open up lots of different audio onto the tracks and see what the effects sound like, Brian Eno style.....

Copy the contents of table from one production system to other

I need to copy the contents of tables T880, T9ACW, T9AGZ from one sap system to other.
Which is the most effective method other than transporting the contents?
Could we write a program or RFC or something for this?

for T880 you cna use LSMW.
Which system are you using as i could not find the tables T9ACW, T9AGZ.
for these you can use RFC as the bets option as Idoc need to be having some Idocs defined and some Configurations need to be done to define lot many criterias for data transfers.
ALE to requires lot many criteris to be configured
BDC needs a Transaction associated for tranbsfer of data.
LSMW can do transfer of limited application and master data and NOT ALL Data.
so appropriate one seems to be RFC or BAPIs.

I am using my Description as the caption on Slideshow. I ticked the "Show Title Slide" button and iPhoto physically copied the description on the first slide onto the end of every other description. I can find no way of removing them other than by hand.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. Aggregation of the Forecast to product level

Hi,
In the Demand Planning We have a requirement that say there are 2 products A and B. We will execute the forecast at the product level and we get forecast say 200 ifor product A and 300 ifor product B for next month.
Now i will run the forecast at the product group level(taking these 2 products in one selection) and i will get the forecast say 500. Now the requirement is that this forecast is to be disaggregated to 200 for product A and 300 for product B . Client do not like to run the forecast at the product level.If we run at the product group level,this should be disaggregated to the product level in such a way it shhould equal to the forecast when we run at product level. Forecast profile is same for product and product group level. All the other parameters such as historical period,forecast periods etc are same at the product and product group level.
Please advise what are the settings required.

Hi Siva,
If I understand correctly what you need is either you forecast at aggregate level or details level, forecast at details level should be same in both case.
This is more of chicken or egg come first situation. If you really like the forecast at the aggregate level to disaggregate same as forecast at detail level than I would suggest to forecast at lower level.
Reason being, Even though you use same forecast profile you will get different forecast numbers at lower level and aggregate level due to different sale pattern (Sales history) at detail level in case you are using complex forecast strategy.
You may take following approach to get some what near by results if not exact.
1. calculate "detail proportion factor" for all periods you want to forecast.
2. Forecast at product group level and dis aggregate based on this detailed proportion factors.

Could not understand the Explode option in "Copy/Merge Forecast" program

We are trying to copy a forecast from another forecast from the same organization. The forecast consists only end items. We are trying to explode the forecast values from end item forecast to new forecast. I could not understand how the explosion of the forecast happens.
Scenario 1:
When the start date of the Copy/Merge forecast was entered as 26th July 2011. I see all the items of exploded forecast starting from 27 June 2011.
Scenario 2:
When the start date of the Copy/Merge forecast was entered as 30th June 2011. I see all the items of exploded forecast starting from 26 May 2011.
I would like to understand on what basis the forecast explosion happens, does it considers any of the lead times such as manufacturing lead time, cumulative manufacturing lead time and offset the forecast backwards ?
We are expecting the forecast date to appear post start date given during the submission of program, since the explode option is set as Yes, we are seeing past due forecast for exploded items, request your help here in understanding the forecast explosion during copy/merge forecast program.

Issue is when the start date is entered as 30th June 2011. When the forecast explosion happens, the exploded forecast date starts from 26th May 2011. Which becomes a past due forecast. We would like to understand why the exploded items goes to periods in the past. Some forecasts go back two periods. We are not able to find the pattern and it is not following the leadtime defined.
I am not sure of the business reason for the forecast explosion to be done here instead in ASCP/MRP plan.
