Core files for GLLEZL in  /var/core

Hi All,
We are running on 11.5.10.2 and in 10.2.0.3 DB
Today we got lots of core files in /var/core directory
core_<server name >GLLEZL201_201_1257203633_25107
Can you please advice on why these were generating and any issues are there because of this.
Please advice.
Thanks & Regards,
Rakesh

Pl identify if any changes were made recently. CORE files indicate OS errors (like SIGNAL 11 etc) - pl verify if the GLLEZL concurrent program is completing successfully and if there are any errors recorded in the log/out files of the GLLEZL concurrent requests - pl also check the database alert log file.
580120.1 - Program Was Terminated By Signal 11 On GLLEZL After Applying Patch 11I.ATG_PF.H.DELTA.6

Attached is Dennis Linam’s Audition – “Log File” and “Log – Last File”
    Contact information Dennis [email protected]
Previous contact information with your organization (DURIM):
Dennis - i just finished my audition trial and bought the subscription the 2014 version.
created by durin in Audition CS5.5, CS6 & CC - View the full discussion
DURIM - Okay.  I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]?  We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro?  If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I appreciate any help you can give me to get this audition program started

SidK wrote:You must have modified your torrc to print to that log file. systemd starts the service as the tor user (see /usr/lib/systemd/system/tor.service). So if if you want to log to a file the tor user must have write access to it. By default however tor it set to log to the journal, which doesn't require any special permissions.
Yes. I did edit the torrc file since I wanted the log to be store in that file. Indeed
    ## Logs go to stdout at level "notice" unless redirected by something
    ## else, like one of the below lines. You can have as many Log lines as
    ## you want.
    ## We advise using "notice" in most cases, since anything more verbose
    ## may provide sensitive information to an attacker who obtains the logs.
    ## Send all messages of level 'notice' or higher to /var/log/tor/notices.log
    #Log notice file /var/log/tor/notices.log
    ## Send every possible message to /var/log/tor/debug.log
    Log debug file /var/log/tor/debug.log
    ## Use the system log instead of Tor's logfiles
    Log notice syslog
    ## To send all messages to stderr:
    #Log debug stderr
I missed the file systemd uses to choose who's the process owner.
Course, I could edit /usr/lib/systemd/system/tor.service such that root will become the process owner; or, I could add the user I use everyday in the root group, then change the permission of /var/log/tor/debug.log such that it will be writable also for the folks in the root group.
Yet they both seems to be a bit unsafe ...
What is the best choice, to you guys?
    Thanks,

Ok, after updating your original post and asking this question I understand what you are actually trying to do. The "local package database" generally refers to /var/lib/pacman/local, not /var/lib/pacman/sync, which is why it was unclear.
fakeroot pacman -Syb /tmp/tmpdb -i pcre
should do what you want, but be very careful never to install anything using that temporary database. Take a look at the checkupgrades script to see how it does things if you want to do more than just check remote package info.

  • *UPDATED 7/15/04* Complete guide to bioses, drivers, and needed files for the MSI K8N Neo Platinum

Complete newbie's guide to bioses, drivers, and needed files for the MSI K8N Neo Platinum:
Last Updated: Thursday July 15th, 2004
    Bioses:
    (In order of date released.)
    1.1b3 - (Download)
    - Pre-1.1, given to reviewers to use in their reviews and benchmarks.
    - Less stable, but supposedly you get slightly better overclocks.
    1.1 Official - (Download)
    1. This is AWARD BIOS release
    2. This BIOS fixes the following problems of the previous version:
    - Memory always run DDR 200 when install single side DDR on DIMM2 & DIMM3.
    - Windows 2000 can't format the RAID IDE HDD when plug in Promise 378 controller.
    1.2b5 - (Download)
    1.2b7 - (No Download Yet)
    1.2b10 - (Download)
    - First attempt to fix false temperature readings. Fixes it for some people with Newcastle cores and doesn't fix it for anybody with Clawhammer cores.

    - Second attempt to fix false temperature readings. Fixes it for some people with Newcastle cores and some people with Clawhammer cores.
    1.3b1 - (Download)

    - System can't resume from S3 sometimes when install USB device.
    - Support K8 Sempron CPU.
    - Turn off keyboard LED in S3.
--Quick Guide for flashing BIOS, provided by MSI--
    1. Create a MS-DOS boot diskette, then copy the the .exe and the bios file to the floppy disk. Both of these files can be found in the package you downloaded.
    2. Press "Delete" and go to BIOS setup while computer bootup.
Check BIOS advanced features and see if BIOS flash write control is enabled
(This option must be enabled. If you can not find this setting, it means the BIOS can be
    flashed.)
    3. Boot from MS-DOS boot diskette and get a:\> prompt.
    4. Type "", then press ENTER
    5. The flash program will then ask "Do you want to save BIOS?", please press "N" for no. The when you see Press 'Y' to program or 'N' to Exit, please press "Y" to continue.
    6. After flashing complete, remove floppy and reset the system .
    7. Press DELETE or F1 when prompted at first reboot after flashing.
    8. Load BIOS optimized defaults, then save settings and exits.
    Drivers & Needed Files:
(Note: All these drivers are for Windows XP.)
Leaked Nvidia nForce3 Chipset Drivers Version 4.40
(Please use at your own risk, these are LEAKED drivers. Password for the .zip file is "ocworkbench rules". Also, you will need to rename the WinXP_2K folder in IDE to either WinXP or Win2K else the installer doesn't pick it up.) Thanks for the link Wonkanoby!
*NEW* Leaked Nvidia nForce3 Chipset Drivers Version 5.03
More leaked drivers? Seems some parts of the drivers are older and some are newer.
    1. Windows XP Service Pack 1A (Web Install) -or- Windows XP Service Pack 1A (Full Install)
    2. Microsoft DirectX 9.0b (Web Install) -or- Microsoft DirectX 9.0b (Full Install)
    3. Nvidia nForce3 Chipset Drivers Version 4.24
    4. AMD Athlon 64 Processor Driver Version 1.1.0.14
    5. Nvidia Video Card Driver Version 56.72 -or- Omega Nvidia Video Card Driver Version v1.5303
(The Omega drivers are third party drivers optimized for gaming, most prefer these over the standard Nvidia drivers.)
    5. ATI Video Card Driver Version 4.7 -or- Omega ATI Video Card Driver Version 2.5.51
(The Omega drivers are third party drivers optimized for gaming, most prefer these over the standard ATI drivers.)
    6. Onboard Sound Driver (Realtek AC'97 Audio Codec) Version A3.61
It is HIGHLY reccomended that you install the drivers/needed files in the order listed above. Please note that there are two #5's because you either install one or the other depending on your video card, do not install both of them.
You will come across a problem here though. You can't install the chipset drivers without installing the Windows service pack and DirectX first, but the Windows service pack and DirectX installs need the internet to download files and you won't have working internet until you install the chipset drivers. Here's what I did to get around this. Instead of downloading the web install versions of Windows service pack and DirectX, download the full version and and put them along with all the other drivers on a backup hard drive or burn them to a CD, this way you will have all the drivers you need when it's time to install them and none of them will require the internet to download files.
Another note when installing drivers. Apparently the Nvidia chipset drivers also come with drivers for the onboard sound, but people seem to agree that the Realtek onboard sound drivers are better. When you are installing the Nvidia chipset drivers, just be sure to uncheck the box for sound drivers when it asks you which drivers you would like to install. Now you can safely install the Realtek drivers without any chance of conflicting sound drivers. Thanks for the tip Wonkanoby!

oh.  IIRC the installer just says USB 2.0 will be fully functional after SP1 is installed.  So after you install SP1 you go into device manager and u click update driver and it will auto search and update the driver.
Simplicity-wise, i guess its pretty much equal.  It might take less preparation to just copy DX9 full onto a CD and install that first, then nforce driver, then right away you have yoru internet connection.
but i dunno.. i guess i will try it your way this time when my RMA"d board comes.
i will be fomratting and doing a fresh install later on today and will let you know if i come across any problems

    Hello Guru,
could you please help with my issue with Fiori Installation.
We want to install SAP Fiori Front-End (GW+UI) on the Sandbox system with SAP Netweaver 7.3.1. (SP14)
Gateway component (SAP GW CORE 200 SP10) was installed without any problems.
But I need to install UI-add-on (NW UI Extensions v1.0) and when I try to install it via SAINT, transaction said me that I need to generate xml-file for it (as in General notes for UI add-on mentioned).
But I have Solution Manager 7.0.1 and in MOPZ for this version I do not have option  "install Add-on" as it written in Guide for ui add-on installation.
Could you please help me with advice how to generate xml-file for UI add-on installation on SolMan v.7.0.1?
If where is no way, but only to upgrade Solution Manager, maybe somebody could give me xml-file for your system (for NW 731) and I will change it to my needs, I will be very grateful!

  • Jar files for Didgital Signing

    Hi All,
I have a requirement where I need to Access to Keystore for Digital signing an XML payload. I am using the example in the SAP help link - Link: [Using Digital Signatures|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/a4/d0201854fb6a4cb9545892b49d4851/frameset.htm]
    I have already imported the following jar files (aii_af_cci.jar,aii_af_cpa.jar,aii_af_mp.jar, aii_af_ms_api.jar, aii_af_ms_spi.jar, aii_af_svc.jar, aii_af_trace.jar, aii_security_lib.jar, aii_security_interface.jar, iaik_jce.jar, tc_sec_ssf.jar).
The code has the following import statements:
    import com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.*;
    import com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.*;
    import com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.*;
    import com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.*;
    import com.sap.aii.af.service.auditlog.*;
    import com.sap.aii.af.service.resource.SAPSecurityResources;
    import com.sap.aii.security.lib.KeyStoreManager;
    import com.sap.aii.security.lib.PermissionMode;
    import com.sap.security.core.server.ssf.SsfProfileKeyStore;
    import com.sap.security.api.ssf.ISsfProfile;
    import java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException;
But even after the above imports I am still getting errors in resolving the following variables in the code.
      KeystoreManager
      keyStore
What are import statements or jar files I am missing? and where can i find those jar files for making the example work?
    Thanks and Regards,

I cannot find in any jar finder the JMS jar file for CEP.
I mean the jar file which includes com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms.api.InboundMessageConverter, com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms.api.OutboundMessageConverter, etc.
    Does anybody know the link?
    Thanks!

Thanks, but it is not there.

  • How can i build RPMs file for my own Java Application?

How can i build RPMs file for my own Java Application?....I have my own directory that contains all Java Source files and some files that my Application required....I want to build RPMs file like a install File to Linux System, Now my OS is Linux Fedora core 1.....How can i do this?

I think that in order to create a RPM, you'd need to
use some C.Nope - the RPM is all about packaging and the "magic" x.spec file. You can have anything you want in the RPM, but you have to use RPM tools to build the .rpm file. One of the features is that you can also indicate (via "install" scripts) modifications to other files or the filesystem to support the installation of whatever's in the RPM.

  • AME Bug: Creates new CFA file for each clip queued!

Here is my workflow:  I have a 60 minute sequence of a dance performance of about 20 dances.  I queued in AME 20 exports to H.264 files by moving the workspace to the segment I want to export, adding it to the queue with a file name, and repeating for the next section (dance).
For each queued export I make a copy so I have a low and high resolution export (40 in total).  Finally, the last queued export is a MPEG DVD file for Encore.
The issue is that when I start the queue, the first thing AME does is conform the ENTIRE SEQUENCE'S AUDIO (not just the clip).  Then it starts the export.  On my computer (Core i7-2600, 24GB RAM), it takes over 15 minutes to conform a 60 minute sequence (the CFA ends being close to 2GB).  While it's conforming the CPU load never goes above 10%.  The export starts for the first clip and that takes less than 90 seconds with all 8 cores pegged at 100% and the GPU over 50%.
Then AME startes the conforming AGAIN FOR THE ENTIRE SEQUENCE instead of re-using the CFA file it just conformed!
Why doesn't it re-use the CFA file?  Or, why does it conform the entire sequence if all I'm exporting is a portion?
    And why isn't conforming a multi-threaded process?
At this rate, it will take all night and consume close to 50 GB of disk space in CFA files.
Here is what my queue looks like:

Actually, I think it's working as designed when it conforms upon export.  See the online help HERE.
    It says, in part:
Premiere Pro does conform audio in uncompressed clips when you use them in sequences with non-matching sample rates. However no conforming is done until you export the sequences or create audio preview files.
The audio in my Canon MXF file is uncompressed 16-bit Linear PCM, so when I bring in the MXF files all PPr does is create PEK files.  This is really nice since I don't have to wait for conforming to begin editing.  Creating PEK files is really fast compared to conforming.  There is a caviat, though...
The max file size from my camera is about 2GB.  Anything longer will span multiple files.  If I copy the contents of the CF card from the camera to my computer, the browse to the files using PPr, it will find all the spanned clips and interpret them as one longer video file.  Not problem, and that's how it's supposed to work.  BUT, since PPr is treating all these spanned files as one longer video clip, it WILL conform the audio.
So to speed things up, I just bring in all the spanned files separately, then sort them and insert them into a sequence in order.  It works fine, and no conforming.
My problem with AME is when it DOES finally conform, it's not re-using the CFA file.  In my particular case, I'm taking one long sequence and exporting different portions of it as separate exports.  I would think that AME would conform the whole sequence once, then re-use it.  But no, it sees each as a separate export, so each export gets its own identical (but different named) CFA file.
So now my current workflow is:
Import in all the video as separate MXF files.
Import audio from digital recorder (house audio).
Mark the clapper sync points on the video and audio files.
Add video clips to a sequence in ascending order
Add to the sequence the audio track and align the sync markers
Balance the audio tracks with the mixer
    Create a new sequence
Add to the new sequence the first sequence
Render and replace audio so I can get a waveform (it helps find edit points) and conformed audio
    Add titles as needed
Edit the timeline, transitions, add Encore chapters, etc.
    Export clips to AME queue
    Save early and save often!

  • Sequence of Installs of RTA and SCA files for GRC AC 5.3

    Hello,
I would like to confirm the correct sequence of applying RTA and SCA files for GRC AC 5.3.
    On ABAP Stack
1- Install VirsaNH RTA on ECC 6.0 System with SAINT
2- Install VirsaHR RTA on ECC 6.0 system which has SAP_HR
3- Install both VirsaNH RTA and VIRSAHR RTA on a system which is SAP HR
4- Install VIRSANH RTA on BI System. (There is no need of VirsaHR on BI system)
5- Install all Support Packages up to 10 or 11 for VIRSANH & VIRSAHR with SPAM
    Next
    On JAVA Stack
    6- Install
    VIRCC00_0.sca
    VIRAE00_0.sca
    VIRRE00_0.sca
    VIRFF00_0.sca
    7- Install VIRACLP00_0.sca
    8- Then install VIRACCNTNT.SAR
9- Next install EP RTA VIREPRTA00_0.sca
10- Install all Java patches for the above components
    Based on the above,
a- Plz confirm if the above sequence is right.
b- My question is can I install 6, 7,8, 9 with JSPM at once as one step?
c- Also can I install SCA files with JSPM first and then install RTA files on ABAP stack later?
d- Also we have BI system with ABAP & JAVA Stacks. Is VIRSANH sufficient for both ABAP & JAVA, or do we need an additonal RTA for BI JAVA ?
Thanks for your valuable inputs in advance.
    Regards,
    Haleem

    Hi,
    > 1- What is the UME of your BI Java stack ?

Check below link which will answer your queries:
    Java RTA for GRC 5.3

This is used when you do upgrade your old GRC release to latest one. So if you are doing fresh install then you need not to do these steps.
    > 3- Also this note 1174625 answers to most of my questions, but does not mention anything about VIRACCNTNT.SAR.  Is >this SAR file installed on JAVA Stack or ABAP stack? Is there a OSS note on VIRACCNTNT.SAR?

This file contains Roles, Rules, functions for RAR, CUP, ERM etc. in txt files which you need to upload when you will do the configuration of GRC.
    Thanks

  • Generating Peak File for...

Wow, this has been going on for 3-4 hours already.
Unacceptable, and I can't find any reference to this process in the Adobe Docs for PP. I have no idea where it is in the process. Is it almost done? Does it have another 12 hours to go? What is the deal with this? I have not touched my computer in hours.
I have a PP Project with about 10 bins with about 1 hour of video in each.
Should I break my project down so I have 10 PP files with 1 hour of video per project?
I was hoping to keep everything in one PP file, but that is looking like a really bad idea right now. I don't remember having to suffer through anything like with when working with Final Cut Pro.
Will these stupid Peak Files be saved? Is there a chance they will get corrupt and have to regenerate? This took a whole half day, and more, since it's still ongoing. This is on my MBP 2.4GHz. If I want to move the files back and forth between my laptop and my Windows Core i7 920 desktop (I have Production Premium on both platforms), will I have to suffer the Peak File Generation everytime?
All video was captured in OnLocation, straight from the camera. That part of the process seemed really cool. This part with the Peak File is really lame.
Any tips on getting to a workable workflow with PP, or should I just bag it, and buy another editor (Final Cut Express would even probably do the simple cut edits I want to do) ? I do most everything in After Effects.

The solution? I'm going to edit on my windows desktop.
OMG, what have I gotten myself into?
Same problem on my PC. Premiere Pro 4.2 on Windows 7 64 bit. Freshly installed. All legit software.
I made a new project, import all the video, and let it generate all peak files.
It finishes. Close Premeire. Open Premiere... Generating Peak File for...
    My heart sinks so low.
I delete the .pek files and the database files and in the preferences, I set it to save cache and database files to a folder within my project folder.
It dutifully generates all new .pek file and database files. I watch it write them one by one. It does not write anything in the original Adobe shared cache folders. It completes. I quickly edit up one segment, just so I have some work to show for my 4 days of messing around with this.
    Close Premiere. Open Premiere.
    Generating Peak File for...
    I'm speechless.
Footage was captured to disc using OnLocation on a Mac from a Panasonic AG-HVX200a via fireware.
If you want to call me an idiot, point out where I'm not doing something right.
If you want to blame my rig(s) just know that I push these systems hard daily with ZERO issues in other apps.
I'm blaming Premiere at this point. Something about how this program works is just not right. In both cases it writes over already existing .pek files. I have 4 channels per clip, so 4 .pek files for every clip I have. It's towards 1000. pek files.

  • Warnings in the Upgrade Log file for OBIEE 11G from 10G

    Hi,
I am new to OBI 11g.
I have installed simple type OBI 11g (version - 11.1.1.5.0) on a single server(Windows 2003, RAM-4GB,CPU-2.8GHz Dual Core ). I used upgrade assistant to upgrade the RPD & Webcat from 10.1.3.4.1 version to 11g, but I got about 50K warnings in the upgarde log file for the web catalog. They were basically 2 types as below -
    1. [2012-02-24T13:17:48.255-05:00] [BIEE] [WARNING] [] [upgrade.BIEE] [tid: 14] [ecid: 0000JMk1k3lDkZKcyToYpk1FHuer000005,0] Invalid columnID reference 'c10' in views!
Does someone know this warning and if this requires a fix or it would not impact any reports or dashboards? This error is about 25K times in the upgrade log file.
    2. [2012-02-24T12:20:04.162-05:00] [BIEE] [WARNING] [] [upgrade.BIEE] [tid: 14] [ecid: 0000JMk1k3lDkZKcyToYpk1FHuer000005,0] Removed the following node from the element 'view': [[

I have checked this error on Oracle support web and it says that this warning is fine as there have been some features in 10G that would not be in the OBI 11G and are not required. I am still not convinced why there should be any warning for this type of issue.
Please let me know if someone has faced these warnings in when doing the upgrade of the 10g RPD and Webcat to 11g together.
Just as note, the services start fine and I could login to the application with users and see the dashboards and reports although I did not check all the dashboards and reports as this is a POC before doing the actual upgrade.

    Hi
Can you please refer me to the links on oracle web support which explained that these warnings are ok and can be ignored. We are also facing the same issue.
    Thanks in advance.
