Core foundation.dll not found

I know this must be an old question. After installing the latest version of itunes, I get the error message that core foundation.dll was not found. Apple syn notifier has stopped working. I have tried three time uninstalling itunes and quick time , and then installing again. Everytime I get the same message. I have call apple and gotten the article trouble installing itunes, but I don't see anything that helps. I am reluctant to run registry fixers, and I am concerned it may corrupt my sytem. An suggestions. Isn't there an easy way just to download directly the corefoundation.dll file.

Hi Strieger,
You have post a problem a while ago, your problem may have been solved by now. But I was also facing the same problem and followed these steps.I have tried many but this is best one.
You candownload the missing CoreFoundation.dll file from the link provided below:
http://dllcentral.com/corefoundation.dll/1.434.6/
After downloading themissing CoreFoundation.dll file, restore this file into System32 folder.
Path to System32 folder is:
C:/ Windows / System32
Note: C: Drive is yourWindow Drive.
You may need to restartyour PC in order to make the changes effective. This is the source, which isbest for solving this sort of dll related issues.

I got problem on installing iTunes. When I clicked iTunes out, two windows popped out. One said the procedure entry point CFAttributed String Create Mutable could not be located in the dynamic link library Core Foundation.dll. and one just said *Itunes was not installed correctly.  Please re install I Tunes Error 7 (windows error 127) . I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. But either way cant work. I really need some of your help! PLS HELP ME!

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The error shares a similar pattern to that in the third box, so a similar approach should work. Look for CoreFoundation.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support, delete it, then repair Apple Application Support.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • TS1717 Getting two error messages when trying to access I Tunes on my Windows 7 Computer:  Windows Error 126 and MSVCR80.dll not found

Having difficulty accessing I Tunes on my Windows 7 Vista.
    Error messages are two fold:
    1. MSVCR80.dll not found.  Reinstall may help correct prob.
    2. Windows Error 126.

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?
If you still have the same error messages cropping up, then try the procedures from the following user tip:

That DLL is part of your printer driver; reinstall or update the device driver for your printer, and the message should go away.

  • Error 7 (Windows error 126) avFoundationcf.dll not found.

Error 7 (Windows error 126) avFoundationcf.dll not found. windows 7 64bit, I've tried everything, but it dosn't work, please help.

Update .netframework to latest version (see apple support)
    then
Follow the instructions on this link, basically un-install everything, remove programs that says they are made by apple inc. (using add remove program)
    http://www.reimageplus.com/fix-windows-127-error/   (Many thanks to reimageplus.com)
You will also need to check and verify that the following folders have been removed:
    C:\Program Files\Bonjour
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple
    C:\Program Files\iTunes
    C:\Program Files\iPod
    C:\Program Files\QuickTime
    C:\Windows\System32\QuickTime
    C:\Windows\System32\QuickTimeVR
dont forget to remove icloud also
you dont need to delete your itune music library though
If any of these folders still exist, delete them along with their contents. (if you cant delete them, right click and go to properties and then security and change the control of the fold to you)
do this for files under  program files and program file (x86) on your computer
once you have deleted everything, restart your computer. Then I repaired my registry using a registry repair program.
Important:-  instead of installing itunes I installed quick time, which installs apple application support (this is the corrupt file which is causing all the issues)
i then installed itunes and it all worked fine,
should take no longer than half hour to fix
    hope this helps

  • Calendar Server installation gets error "libnmspr20.dll not found"

Calendar Server installation gets error "libnmspr20.dll not found"
    <P>
When installing Calendar Server 3.5 on NT near the end an error
occurs: "libnmspr20.dll not found " and then it will exit the setup
    without completion.
This is a bug because it is looking for the libnmspr20.dll in the
system path but the Calendar Server installation has left it in a
temp directory. This does not occur if the Netscape Messaging Server
has been previously installed on the same host. A workaround is, when
the error message displays, you DON'T press ok, but search your
computer for the missing file (usually found in temp-directory).
You then copy the file to a directory in your system path. Now you
can press the OK button and the installation will fail. Re-install
the calendar server, this time the installation won't fail.

Installing Latest JRE on NT4 sp6a produces the same error:
    InstallShield DLL Custom Action:
File 'C:\TEMP\RegUtils.dll' can not be found. Make sure the file is on the target system or installed already.
I searched www.installshield.com since the error is an installer error and the installer is InstallShield. NO results found there either.
Seems like the installer team needs to brush up on the NT4 platform.

  • Avfoundationcf.dll "Not Found" [FIX]

    Hope it help :]

This procedure might work or might not work:
Download the free Ccleaner and repair your Registry (repeat until clear)
    http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard
Uninstall iTunes according to Apple's directions here
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925
Use Ccleaner and repair your Registry again just in case.
Then download/install iTunes again from the Apple website
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/
Your iTunes content will not be removed,
Please regularly backup your iTunes content to external medium (hard drive, cd/dvd's) using the File>Backup Library in iTunes. Apple will not reissue new copies of content.

    Hi,
What version of VISA are you using? What version of MAX?. What OS are you using?
You can try using the lastest version, NI-VISA 3.0. The installer also includes the lastest version of MAX (3.0). The installer can be found in the Driver and Updates >> NI-VISA
