Core Sync kills LAN traffic on Mac

Hi,
why core sync process for 1 mac generates a lot of traffic, killing navigation on whole lan?
If I stop process, i get 27ms time response ping, if I restart process "Core Sync", time increase to 2200ms - 3000ms and the entire lan users come to me a bit angry.
Note that all files on my Creative Clouds folder are already syncronized, also fonts and Apps are updated.
ps. working on iMac OSX 9.0.2, Adobe Creative Cloud 1.5.0.3.367.

If you could also have your CoreSync logs available it would be beneficial. They are located at ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log. for Mac OS.
If you have Windows user experiencing the same difficulty then the CoreSync logs can be found at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CoreSync\CoreSync-yyyy-MM-dd.log.

How do I sync iPages '08 on my Mac with iPages '09 on iPad?

Is there some way to sync documents created on my Mac with Pages '08 with Pages '09 on the iPad? When I have attempted to sync via iTunes, I receive a message that the documents have to have been created in Pages '09 in order to be synched. Would iCloud be the solution for the Pages issue? Unfortunately my Mac is 4-years old (version 10.5.8) and I am still using Leopard. According to the iCloud info page, I would need to update to Lion in order to access iCloud. If I upgraded to Lion in order to access iCloud, would I then be able to access on the iPad documents which were created in Pages '08 on my Mac? Or would I still need to upgrade my Mac to pages '09 (and if so would all the documents created in Pages '08 automatically convert to Pages '09)? And is Apple releasing a new Pages anytime soon? An '09 version sounds outdated and one likely to be updated. I'm retired and really don't need all of the iWork package features other than Pages. I have resorted to attaching documents I created with Pages 08 to emails to myself. However, when I open the attachment on the iPad, I can't save the document in Pages '09 on the iPad because it was created in Pages '08. I know there has got to be an easier way to deal with this issue and hopefully someone in the community can help me with this. As you can tell, a techie I am not but giving it my best shot. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

If you have Mac OS X Leopard, you have no access to the Mac App Store because it is a Store in an app, similar to the iTunes App Store, which is a store in an app. In order to have the Mac App Store app, you must upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6 and update 10.6 to 10.6.8.

Would the newest version of Pages (purchased individually) work with the "Leopard" program or is "Snow Leopard" a core program requirement in order to purchase abd download this product individually.
Apps bought from the MAS require Snow Leopard and some require 10.6.6 or higher.
Do you know if iCloud solves the Pages 08 problem, i.e., could I read '08 documents on the iPad via iCloud?
I tried to answer this in my first comment. You already know that Pages on your iPad cannot use docs from Pages '08 on your Mac that you have imported by emailing them to yourself, so getting them onto your iPad using iCloud is not likely to be any different.

Core Sync trying to download corrupted plugin

Hello all,
I have horrible problem with Core Sync process. After each and every Creative Cloud application start the Core Sync process is trying to download ~250MB of Photoshop plugin called FlyPaper Select. But after downloading this plugin I get notification error "Cannot install Flypaper Select plugin (error -603)". Below one of many log entries about this error from Core Sync logs:

As I said Creative Cloud tries to download this plugin after each application start. It is not a big deal in my home, I've got 40Mb/s Internet connection, but in my work I've got only 4Mb/s so download takes some time and bandwidth. As for now the only way I know to stop downloading is to kill Core Sync process each time. I wish I could somehow force Core Sync to not download FlyPaper Select plugin, but really don't know how…

In Mavericks, Core Sync quits about once a minute Crash report blames Creative Cloud

I installed Mavericks a few hours ago. Every app I have tried so far works as intended, including Photoshop CC, Lightroom CC, Microsoft Office 2011, Epson Artisan 730 Printer, Apple Mail, Safari, Preview, iBooks, Cocktail (Mavericks version). My problem is that about every 1-2 minutes Core Sync quits. When the Crash Report window appears it is the same each time, and it points to Creative Cloud as being responsible.
Other than that, so far it seems to be a succesful install. I am not a programmer, so I have no clue as to where to go from here. Below is an image of the beginning of the Crash Report:

Thank you for your prompt reply. Before I uninstall Creative Cloud (CC), I want to verify that you realize that CC versions of Photoshop and Lightroom are running, as intended, in Mavericks.
And I would like to ask, if after I uninstall CC and restart my Mac, can I reinstall CC ?

Does CreativeCloud storage sync over LAN

I've received the promo material for small business CC, and while "100GB of cloud-based storage per user — 5x more than other plans" sounds really good. I'm concerned (based on other info from the community) that CC does not sync over LAN. This requires all users in the same office to push data to and from cloud, increasing WAN traffic several times compared to the current setup.
Is this something that has been addressed, or should we keep using dropbox for the time being?

'Core Sync' app is showing 'not responding'

When ever I pick any desktop fonts from Typekit, I found it's not synced to my computer. I tried restarting the Adobe Creative Cloud. Then it will sync properly. Similar problem is there with Adoble Cloud files getting synced.
Later when I check Activity Monitor, when every this problem arises 'Core Sync' app is showing 'not responding'. At times, instead of 'Core Sync' app, 'Creative Cloud' will be showing 'not responding'.
Any idea how to fix this? It's being very difficult with work with Cloud files since every time I update a file on cloud need to restart creative cloud to upload the file to my colleagues.

I have updated my iPhone 3Gs to the latest software in an attempt to iron out a problem with a new telephone network provider (Tmobile). I had backed up my phone before I did this. I can't sync the phone with my Mac, I can't re-download from iTunes as the phone says I don't have any music or apps available to re-download although it all shows up on my Mac. The music and app content cannot be restored when I try to restore the phone from the back up I madeon my Mac. Help!

Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage. Now I will once again get to spend hours reloading my phone all for updates that didn't affect my usage in the first place.

Cisco RV042 Firewall Blocking LAN Traffic

Hello Everyone,
I currently have an RV042G with a downstream SG-300 connected to one of the LAN interfaces. Connected to the SG-300 are a couple servers running ESXi. Intervlan routing is working fine on the current setup; however, I only able to connect to my ESXi hosts on a separate VLAN for approximately a minute before the connection is dropped. I have concluded that the firewall seems to be culprit in blocking my traffic. If I turn the firewall off, everything acts as expected. There is a default "ANY/ANY" rule for LAN traffic enabled and I have added a couple extras allowing all traffic for IP ranges, but I still seem to be losing my connections. To make matters more confusing, I can see ACCESS_RULE events in the firewall logs permitting the traffic (or so I'm interpretting).
Regardless, here's how my rules currently stand below. I put another ANY/ANY rule in because the default didn't seem to be working -- I immediately was able to ping other hosts on different VLANs after adding the rule. I was under the assumption allowing all traffic from any source to any destination would make the LAN pretty accessible. I would appreciate any guidance or resources on this topic to set up some quick firewall rules to get things up and running. Thanks in advance.

I guess I should clarify, the SG-300 is running in Layer 3 mode, and the VLANs are defined on it; however, the static routes are defined on the RV042. Maybe there's a more efficient way of doing this?

Just to reiterate the problem, I am able to connect to hosts on VLAN 2 from my computer on VLAN 1, but I am disconnected a minute or so later. When the firewall is disabled, I have no issues with connecting to the host across VLANs and maintaining that connection. Maybe I have a misconfiguration somewhere that is causing some issues? I appreciate the help.

If one is running Outllok on a Mac machine then it is not possible to sync the contacts with iPhone. How to sync iPhone 4 contacts to Mac address book

Hello!
I can sync all my contacts from the Mac address book on my MacBook Pro to my iPhone 4. However, why does it not sync the iPhone contacts to the Mac address book? Should it not be like a two way sync? I was looking at the syncing options but it does give that option. I just want to make sure that I have the same contacts on my iPhone and Mac. I do understand that MobileMe does that. But till I can afford to have MobileMe, maybe there is another solution?

I had a major drama doing this last night, have managed to restore my Address Book file with a backup after I mistakenly wiped all the contacts I had created on my iPhone. Yikes! I suggest when you sync your iPhone leave it plugged in after the sync until you check that the contacts are all where they should be. That way, the most recent backup that is done automatically when you plug in the iPhone will still have all your iPhone contacts should something go amiss and they can be restored. Also export your computer's Address Book (File>Export in Address Book) which should land in your Documents folder.
To get all my iPhone's contacts back into my Mac's Address Book, I created a group in my Mac Address Book called 'iPhones contacts'. When I synced the iPhone with my Mac, (Info tab>Sync Address Book Contacts in iTunes), I checked the box that says 'Add contacts created outside of groups on this iPhone to...' and checked the new 'iPhone contacts' group and when I synced, all the new contacts on the iPhone landed in my Mac's Address Book. Phew. Heartstopper!
