CoreDAVErrorDomain Code=3 for Lion user

So, up until oh.. today our office was getting along just fine and dandy with iCal. People were syncing on mobile devices, on their desktops, laptops and so forth. Mostly Snow Leopard, by the way, and one user who had already upgraded to Lion. Things had been working just fine, again, up until now.
The error reported back on the user's Macbook Pro is this: The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueuableOperation) for account "so and so" failed.
2/14/12 2:53:49.340 PM iCal: Account refresh failed with error: Error Domain=CoreDAVErrorDomainCode=3 "The operation couldn't be completed. (CoreDAVErrorDomain error 3.)" UserInfo=0x7ff03437b530 (AccountName=soandso, CalDAVErrFromRefresh=YES}
Things I've tried:
Deleted said account from iCal preferences, and readded it. Dumped and rebuilt CalendarCache, also the main iCal plist file.
Ran disk permission verification and repair.
Seems to be only with this laptop with Lion that it's happening as every other computer/user is having no issue.

Its because MKPF-MBLNR does not have a Searh Help.
You can create your own search help and add it in program in AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR <field> event.
You can get ample of sample codes in SCN on this.

  • Authority Check at the T.Code level for the user in particular User Group

    Hi Friends,
    I have created a ZREPORT and assigned this report to a ZTRANSACTION CODE.
    Need to give Authority Check at the T.Code level for the user in particular User Group.
    I have searched in SCN, but not get suitable pages.
    How to solve this?
    Regards,
    Viji.

    Hi Viji.
    Saha way is actual way for authority tcode but user authority in TCODE:- SE38 he/she can run report(ZREPORT) wise program is run is no authority check.
    Another way is you have also check authority in program level.

  • Latest update 3.3 only for lion users? total mess

    apple did a major step to indicate that aperture is no app for "pro"users. If it should be that it should support not only the latest system version!
    latest update 3.3 only for lion users? total mess.
    I will look for another solution. Sad.

    Hi,
    I was wondering if somebody could give me some guidance please?
    I bought an N73 in September after much research and a lot of deliberating, I decided to purchase one (via O2 in England) even though i had heard lots of unhappy people claiming the phone had ruined their life etc due to its software faults.
    I haven't updated my phone yet since buying it mainly due to being put off by the number of NEW problems the updates can cause.
    I dont have any major problems with my phone, its got a bit slower with time and the camera isnt very quick when uploading and sometimes switches off (but i think its to do with the slide mechanism on the back), anyway i would be grateful if you would give me your honest opinion as to whether i should upgrade to the latest firmware or not!
    Many Thanks

  • Pro Mac Pro Tip for Lion Users

    Been frustrated with your Mac Pro since upgrading to Lion?  Maybe I can help.
    I’ve spent the last few months just hating OS X Lion. I thought Apple should have given it a better nickname, like “System Hang” or “Patience is a Virtue.” I spent more time starring at the dreaded spinning beach ball of death than I did getting work done. Where I once kept open as many browser windows and tabs as I liked, I began closing everything I didn’t absolutely need right then. Aperture 3, which I adore, had become impossible to use.
    Things had gotten so frustrating, I was seriously thinking about doing a clean system install — something I used to have to do every 6-12 months with Windows, and was one of the reasons I made the switch.
    But there were other things I could do to speed things up, and here they are in no particular order:
    • Replace system HDD with a super fast SSD. But that’s expensive, and a hassle. First you have to clone your existing system on it, and all four of my drive bays are full. So I’d have to put the SSD in a FireWire-freindly enclosure, clone it the slow way, then swap it in for the HDD.
    • Put in a faster video card. This seemed the least-likely to do any good, and I’m not exactly taxing the card this machine shipped with more than two years ago.
    • New CPU. I could install a non-sanctioned EFI update, and swap out my quad-core Xeon for something sexier. But not only is that expensive, it also voids my warranty.
    • More memory! This is usually the go-to upgrade. It’s easy. It isn’t very expensive. And even if it doesn’t do a whole lot, you know you want it anyway.
    Now, this Xeon processor has three memory channels, but the motherboard has four memory slots. If you fill all four, your memory takes a speed hit — but you can fit in more memory. If you use just three matched memory sticks, the processor can take full advantage of its memory architecture.
    When I bought this box, I also picked up four 2GB memory sticks. I figured I could try it both ways: 3 sticks for 6GB of faster access or all 4 for 8GB of restricted access. Under previous versions of OS X — Leopard and Snow Leopard — things ran faster and smoother with the full 8GB.
    Well let me tell you: Lion does not like slow memory. Not one bit.
    Yesterday I ditched all four 2GB sticks and replaced them with three 4GB sticks. The 50% increase in memory space is a nice bit of room for Lion to run around in, but I’m wagering that leaving that fourth slot unfilled was what really did the trick. Because let me tell you, right now this Lion roars. All the bad things I said about Lion? I take them all back. And if you’re a frustrated Mac Pro/Lion user, heed my advice.
    At this very moment, I’m looking at email, 40 or 50 browser tabs in six windows, my calendar and iTunes blown up to full screen, ripping a Blu-Ray and crunching it down to 720p at 30fps, sorting through more than 2,000 RAW images in Aperture, doodling around with three different Pages documents, and two Christmas shopping spreadsheets — all strewn across nine virtual desktops, while in the background iTunes is serving up two video streams to Apple TVs upstairs and Time Machine is cranking away to keep my data safe.
    My Mac is a Mac again.

    Hi ...
    Avoid MacKeeper. Results of an ASC forum search for MacKeeper >  Community Search: Apple Support  Comments are discouraging for the most part. You don't need third party utlities installed to take care of your Mac. For the most part they do more harm than good.
    Not enough free space on the startup disk can slow the system down.
    Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon. Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available. Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.
    Disabling the Lion "resume" feature may help.
    Open System Preferences > General
    Deselect:  Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps
    You can use Lion Recovery to repair the startup disk and reinstall the Mac OS X.

  • Is mountain lion free for lion users

    is mountain lion free for lion users

    Keep in mind, as soon as that's offered, if it is offered, that's the time buy from a store a Lion installed Mac.  That way, in event you have Lion compatible software which hasn't been tested with Mountain Lion, at least you'll have the option to stick with Lion until Mountain Lion is ready for you.  So keep your eye on http://www.apple.com/pr and http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/ once summer begins.  Apple has offered up to date programs for a long time, typically up to three weeks prior to the release date, and given you a chance to know when the release date is.  If you order online though, and they are out of stock, you may be stuck with a Mountain Lion only compatible machine.  An authorized Apple retailer should be able to carry at least some models through http://www.apple.com/buy/ so check their stock at that time for what you desire.

  • Code(Adapter) for Checking User's Manager in AD

    I am trying to make a code to be used as an adapter and use that adapter before create user task... The process should first check the presence of manager id in Microsoft AD(target system), if present then create the user....
    Can anyone help me????????

    Hi,
    You can have code something like this. You need to choose a manager attribute for example: employee number to search for manager in any LDAP.
    public static DirContext getConn(String Address, String dn, String root,
                   String pwd, int port, boolean SSL) throws Exception {
              Hashtable<String, String> env = new Hashtable<String, String>();
              String url = "ldap://" + Address + ":" + port + "/" + root;
              env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory);
              env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, url);
              env.put(Context.SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION,"simple");
              env.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL,dn);
              env.put(Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS,pwd);
              if(SSL) {
                   env.put(Context.SECURITY_PROTOCOL,"ssl");
              DirContext dirContext = new InitialDirContext(env);
              return dirContext;
    public String ManagerExists (Long processInstanceKey, String managerAttribute) {
                        DirContext adContext = getConn(Address, uid, root, passwd, port, SSL);
                        String managerExists= "No";String searchBase="";
                        String filter = "managerAttribute="+managerAttribute;
                                            SearchControls searchControls = new SearchControls();
              searchControls.setSearchScope(SearchControls.SUBTREE_SCOPE);
              NamingEnumeration namingEnumeration = adminDirContext.search(searchBase, filter, searchControls);
              if (namingEnumeration == null) {
                   managerExists="No";
              while (namingEnumeration.hasMoreElements()) {
                   managerExists="Yes";
              return managerExists;
    Hope this helps.

  • Will There Be a Fix (for Lion users)?

    Ever since upgrading to Mac OS X Lion, I've noticed issues with Adobe Audition, it kept freezing and crashing when I add an audio file as I'm post edit my radio show.
    Will there be a fix for it soon? It's been occuring since upgrading.

    Hello,
    As of now, there are no known issues with Audition CS5.5 on Lion (Mac OS 10.7). We are running the OS on many machines here and have found the application to be fully complaint with the new operating system.
    As for the crashing you are experiencing, let's try a few things to troubleshoot the issue on your particular system.
    First: The new Mac OS hides the Preferences folder location by default. Here's how you can "unhide" that folder:
    1. Open the “Terminal” application (Applications > Utilities > Terminal).
    2. Enter the following command and hit enter: chflags nohidden /Users/Your_User_Name_Here/Library
    Next: I suggest you try using a new set of preferences in case something has become corrupt.
    Go to the following locations and either delete (if you don't need  the old preference) or instead re-name these files or move them to  another location:
    /Users/User_Name/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/4.0/ - Move or delete the "4.0" folder.
    /Users/User_Name/Library/Preferences/com.Adobe.Audition.4.0.plist - Move or delete the "com.Adobe.Audition.4.0.plist" file.
    Re-launch Auditon and try again.
    If this does not resolve the issue, please tell me if you are seeing this with a particular audio file or format.
    -- Does it happen with all files or just specific files?
    -- You mention that this happens when you add an audio file. Does this mean when you open a file in the single-asset editor or in multitrack?
    As much information as possible will be helpful for us in trying to narrow down the problem.
    Thanks,
    --Ron

  • Two purchasing organisations for one user

    Hi Experts,
    We are running SRM 4.0, extended classic scenario with a large international setup.
    I have an issue with purchaser that need to be able to shop for two different pur. orgs. in two different company codes (A & B).
    I have added both A & B in the Company Code attribute for the user.
    And I have made both the local purchasing groups for A & B responsible for the purchaser.
    When I create a SC I can select whether to use Company code A & B and I can select the matching Purchasing Group. When I finish the shopping cart the order is created in SRM with correct the Local Purchasing Organisation which the Pur. Group I chose belongs to.
    But when it is tranfered to R/3 it is allways assigning pur. org. A. (also if the order in SRM has local pur. org. B). This results in a error, if the purchase wants to make a purchase for Company B.
    Is it not possible in SRM to able to chose more than one backend pur. org.?

    Hej igen, Anders.
    I don't suppose you have found a solution here?
    What I was thinking is, that you should try using the GUID of the purchase order from SRM and use it in the function module BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC_V2 to test which data are getting sent from SRM to R/3. You know you can find the GUID of the PO from transaction BBP_PD with BUS2201, and this GUID is the only thing needed to test the function module. This FM is sending your shopping cart/PO data from SRM to R/3, so if you can debug this to see that here the p org is correct, you would know that the error occurs in R/3.
    On the other hand you could also see in BBP_PD for the purchase order in SRM if the p org is already wrong here?
    Cross buying is possible, so hopefully you get to find your error. Otherwise post a reply here, we'll figure something else out.

  • Font Book. Can you make Font Collections for all users?

    I set up a few font collections. Now when I login as another user, these font collections are not available. Each user seems to have to set up their own collections.
    Is there any way to set up font collections that all users may be able to access?
    This would be handy if all the users wanted the same collections. Is this possible?

    If you just edit the skeleton file for <code>.xinitrc</code>, then for each user that is created, it will automatically be set to run xfce.  The location of the file is <code>/etc/skel/.xinitrc</code> if that answers your question.

  • Make XFCE4 default for all users

    I got Arch up and running with XFCE4. its great so far
    I am using either xdm or wdm as my login manager (havent decided which i want yet)
    I added a ".xinitrc" file to my home folder so that XFCE4 will start when I log in. is there a way to make XFCE4 the default wm for all new users without having to add a .xinitrc file to all of their home folders? I only plan on using XFCE4 so I dont need the login manager to load other wm's. but i would like to be able to add users and have their session automatically start as XCFE. all i have found by googling and on LQ.org is making a .xinitrc file, but these seem to lean toward a single user system. there has to be an easier way, ie with fedora when you make a new user, log out and log in as the new user and it will start  the default wm, or you can choose whichever wm you want to use.
    im using arch 0.7.2 'gimmick' and all packages have been updated

    If you just edit the skeleton file for <code>.xinitrc</code>, then for each user that is created, it will automatically be set to run xfce.  The location of the file is <code>/etc/skel/.xinitrc</code> if that answers your question.

  • Lock Transaction for Specifi Users

    Dear All,
    Good Day,
    We are planning to lock the transaction for specific user who doesnot use the transaction more than 3 months.
    Please suggest me what will be the procedure.
    Thanks in advance,.
    Best Regards,
    Suresh Kumar K

    Hi Suresh,
    Your idea of restricting users in using t-code is good practice. But as of now there is nothing like you can restrict user by locking t-code only for tht user/users alone.
    1. You can lock the T-code but this will affect entire system.
    2, You can remove t-code from the role, but this affect other user and if you wanted to make another role for only this user it will start getting to be tedious job, since you have to delete some roles create some other and alos user may use some t-code once every quarter for some of quarter end results and you have to seperate these t-code from others which was not possible, this will not workout so easily.
    The only option could be probably if user doesnot login for more than 3months just lock him.
    Regards...

    We have 3 user profiles on mac book pro.  want to upgrade to lion but want to be sure that all users are backed up to ext hard drive via Time Machine.  When I go into Time Machine - I cant find anywhere my user account (1 of the 3) - loads of photos and documents. For other user accounts - if i go to open a folder i cant ''no permission'' is the message.  All I want to be sure of is that there is a back up and for these 2 reasons I am far from sure.

    Be sure they're not excluded in Time Machine Preferences > Options.
    Also, if iPhoto is open while a backup is running, Time Machine may not be able to back up the changes in the iPhoto Library. It will "catch up" the next time, if it can.

    That's correct; one user, even an Admin user, doesn't normally have access to another user's files.  You should see the same behavior if you try to look at their data on your Mac.
    Log on as the other users (or have them do it) to see their backups.
