CoreFoundation.dll

Not sure if this is the right forum or not but I keep getting a Corefoundation.dll error everytime I logon to my computer. It started when my son tried to up date his IPOD touch. Does anyone know how to fix this error message? Thanks for your help.

  • CoreFoundation.dll crash followed by iTunes Stops Working on Win7 x64

    Hello
I had a Sony Vaio laptop (64 Bit Win 7 Pro and Office etc) for almost 2 years. After running latest windows updates (I think) iTunes started stopping at launch.
After searching thru support forums and testing various suggestions, I thought my Win 7 installation got old and corrupted and I was already thinking of upgrading my laptop to i5 or i7, I asked my company to renew my laptop. I started installing my new Sony Vaio.

Everytime I turn on my computer running on Windows XP, a message appears from AppleSynchNotifier.exe - Unable to Locate Component -

I uninstalled and re-installed itunes and the message still appears.
    How do I fix this??
    Thank you

With that one, first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe Control Panel for Windows, robin. Does that make the error go away?

  • When I boot my computer i get a message that says The Procedure entry point_NSConcreteStackBlock could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll.

When I start up my laptop I get an error message that says 'The Procedure entry point_NSConcreteStackBlock could not be located in the dynamic link library CoreFoundation.dll. I have tried to uninstall itunes and all its files, I have tried to install safari, i have tried to repair Apple application support but still when I boot laptop, I get the message....I am at a loss as to what will cure this!

You should have one copy of CoreFoundation.dll in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple Application Support or C:\Program Files (x68)\Common Files\Apple Application Support if this is a 64-bit Windows.
The detailed file properties should be as shown.
If the file you have is correct check to see if there is another copy in the main iTunes folder. If so delete it and see if that helps.
Otherwise try uninstalling/deleting folders/reinstalling iTunes again. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for more details. Your issue looks a bit like it might be a variation of the issue in the first box.
Also worth checking that you have uninstalled the MobileMe control panel and any third party software that might try to talk to iTunes.

  • When I conect any ipod ,the itunes show an error msg-The syncServer found a problem and must be closed. After that another-Mobile device helper find a problem and must be closed -and this repeat more 2 times each are  related with corefoundation.dll.

Six error msg about apple aplications that must be closed just when I connect my ipod to computers USB.SyncServer aplication and Mobile device helper is closed. The error relat.show :
    AppName: syncserver.exe     AppVer: 17.641.14.26     ModName: corefoundation.dll
    ModVer: 1.550.54.0     Offset: 00043d08
These happens in both kind of messages that was showing three times each. After this ,Itunes can sinc music videos, photos, but I canot upgrade my ipod!
Detail:copy photo files from ipod to computer works normal.I use panda antivirus but without it in the computer, the problem persists.Yesterday I get the last ITunes, but the problem persists.I unistall anything about apple ,install the new Itunes and the problem remains.
And this problem occurs only after I connect ANY ipod to the computer, open Itunes for hear music, for example, still works OK.

I have been battling against the same issue for over 2 weeks now. After tracing what was happening on the machine to find that the crashes we're happening slightly after Apple's program we're identifying the Time Zone of the computer, I had the idea of checking the date/time properties of my Windows XP machine.
I unchecked the box to update the time from a time server (Internet time) and it's seem that this was what was causing itunes and its descendant to crash.
Now it seems it turned back to normal operation.
Please let me know if this fixes it for you as well.

  • Error Message when opening Photoshop CS5: CoreFoundation.dll missing

Hello... and thank you for your help,
I downloaded my upgraded version of CS5 yesterday. I am running Windows 7.
I did not have a problem with the download or with accessing it. CS4 is still loaded on my computer.
Toady I started copying plugins and loading actions from CS4 to CS5. All of that went well too. I also tried to open CS4 while CS5 was open (and vice versa) to manually copy my Preference settings to CS5. When either was already open and I tried to open the other version, the other version merely reopened the version that was already opened.
At some point during this transitioning process, I opened up CS5 and received an error message that "The program can't start because the CoreFoundation.dll is missing from your computer..." I searched for this .dll file and found several entries, two of which are in CS4 and CS4 (64 bit).
How do I correct this? What happened? Also, do I need to keep my CS4 versions -- and are they causing the problem?
Thank you so much for your help,
    Guy

    Thanks so much, Chris.
The 64bit version of CS5 opens perfectly... and when I open this version first, then close it and open the 32 bit version (the one with the problem), the 32 bit version opens the first time without the error. The next time I open it, the error returns.
The 32 bit and 64 bit CS4 versions have these .dll files in them. Would copying one of these files to the CS5 version correct the problem? Should I uninstall and reinstall CS5 all together?
    Thank you again.
    Guy
PS Interesting that you mention iTunes. iTunes works fine except I haven't been able to open the iTunes store for two months... and Apple doesn't know why. (They stopped trying a month ago.) Also, one of their techs told me I can't delete Quicktime without damaging iTunes(?)

No you should be fine. (The MobileMe service is being shut down, anyway, so there should be no impact at all.)

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • CoreFoundation.dll missing reinstall

I installed CS6... Some times, but not all the time, I get a error box saying " CoreFoundation.dll missing reinstall program" I have deleted and reinstalled Itunes and Quicktime Pro but i still get the message now and then.
Any ideas what is going on?

Corefoundation.dll is not provided with Photoshop, and is not relied-upon by any Photoshop components as far as I know.  You have correctly surmised that it's involved with Apple software.
Have you copied any plug-ins from a prior installation of Photoshop?
A quick search of my own Windows 7 x64 system reveals corefoundation.dll in these locations:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\CoreFoundation.dll
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\CoreFoundation.dll
Notably neither of these folders in in my path.

How can I solve this problem?

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
    1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
    3. Now paste it in the folder  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
    4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

You have likely installed then partially uninstalled a 3rd party plug-in, I'm guessing possibly from OnOne Software.  Either that or you have partially installed one.
You didn't just point your Extra Plug-ins Folder at your old CS3 area did you?
Oops, didn't notice this was an ancient thread.

Every time I reboot it says this. What program does it want me to reinstall? Has anyone else had this? Can I just get the dll someplace and put it in some folder? Arrrhgggh!

I am having the same problem with my iPhone since I installed the iTunes upgrade. The message I am getting is "AppleSyncNotifier.exe entry point not found. The procedure entry point sqlite3preparev2 could not be located in the dynamic link library sqlite3.dll Then it tells me the AppleSyncNotifier has stopped working. I, unfortunately, have tried too many things and one was to RESET my iPhone in iTunes since it was "not working". Now I have NO data in my iPhone, and when I plug it in to sync, iTunes shows an iPhone icon, but will not connect at all. Any ideas? It had not synced in several days (unbenownst to me) so I have lost many appointments and phone numbers, etc. from Outlook. Any ideas?
