Correct use of FolderRestrictQualification

I am trying to perform a context-based search which will start at a user-provided point, ie. some sub-directory. I am having no luck when I try to use FolderPathResolver and FolderRestrictQualification classes. Can someone please point me to a REAL example of performing a context-based search using a specified starting point.

Please take a look at the code sample I have posted for a Context search in the thread http://technet.oracle.com:89/ubb/Forum36/HTML/000475.html.
To use FolderRestrictQualification, remove
the AttributeQualifications from the search
tree (or keep them if necessary) and add
FolderRestrictQualification (FRQ).
You can construct a FRQ as shown below.
Folder anyFolder;
FolderRestrictQualification frq = new FolderRestrictQualification();
frq.setStartFolder(anyFolder);
In the code sample you will see a search
tree (where clause of the search) which
is
(AQ1 and AQ2) and (CQ and JQ).
In your case it will look like
(FRQ) and (CQ and JQ).

Click the eyedropper for the WHITES and select the white
Click the eyedropper for the MIDS and select a gray
Click the eyedropper for the BLACKS and select a black.
That will get you matched.

How to correctly use ThinkVantage System Update?

I have ThinkPad E520 for two months and I still don't know how to correctly use System Update. From the beginning I've downloaded and installed all updates, but now I want to do it right. How do you do it? Do you install only updates that you need? Or all updates of program that you use? Or just all updates that System Update offers?
Here is interesting sentence: "If it's not broken, don't fix it!". So how?
I don't want to risk and do unnecessary things... But there is a problem with me, that I don't know, which update do I need... So I really need know, how to do it correctly...

Do only use System Update if you have problems with a driver or Thinkvantage Tool - feature.
In my company we never used System update and the laptops are running without any changes (except Windows update) since 5 to 6 years. So i have removed TVSU from all computers.
System Update is a very excellent tool after a clean install from a Windows CD/DVD to install all Lenovo drivers and tools you want to use. A disadvantage of cyclic updates via System Update is, that parts of old drivers in most cases will be kept because the newer driver will be installed over the old one in most cases, which leads after several updates to an instability of the system.

Is it possible to safely monitor good colour correction using my output of my Black Magic Intensity Card? It has an HDMI out so Im thinking there is no need to go to an external VTR and then into a Monitor. Also, I cannot afford an HD monitor.. not even close! SO im thinking to use a 1080p Samsung computer/TV monitor. I hear for the money they make excellent (budget) monitor substitutes?!
OR maybe just buy another Apple 23" HighDEf monitor?

This question keeps coming up in different contexts, with a variety of answers. Correct color depends on correct calibration all the way through the chain from digital signal to playback. No single hardware piece can do it all, even a perfect monitor, without calibration.
As JP correctly states, Rec709 is the standard for HD, Rec 601 for SD. These standards define the color temperature of gray, 6500 in both cases, and the specific color of the primary that generate the 6500. The 6500 needs to be generated correctly at all gray levels from 0 to 100 IRE.
In addition, the luminosity needs to track the 2.2 (or 2.5) gamma curve closely.
Lastly, the monitor needs to have 0 overscan, and high enough resolution to clearly see the finest resolution the input is capable of.
Some of these adjustments can be done by eye - most require a spectrophotometer of some kind, and a monitor that has all the adjustment capability to perform the adjustments.
The best way to make these adjustments is in hardware, but in the cases where this isn't possible, it is possible to generate a color look up table (LUT) to compensate for some, but not all errors. Apple's colorsync is such a LUT, although it cannot adjust for the primary colors, it can do gamma and the 6500 balance.
More of an answer than you wanted I know, but that is just the way it works.
You can have less expensive equipment give good results with proper calibration, and the best equipment uncalibrated provide terrible results.

If it works in Windows Safe mode then you have a problem with other software, possibly security software or a system driver, that is running on your computer.<br />
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Does the iPad output correctly using an HDMI to HD-SDI converter?

I have a question regarding the iPad 2 & 3 HDMI output. I understand that HDCP is used primarily in iTunes Store to protect videos from being copied.
For a presentation using the iPad on Keynote and demonstrations using applications like Photos, Safari, Youtube, etc. Does the image and videos get broadcasted correctly using the iPad HDMI dongle connected to a HDMI to HD-SDI converter (similar to Datavideo's DAC-9) projecting to a HD-SDI input only projector?

Status change of Single correction using Abap report

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to change the status of Single correction CR's to "completed" and also set the preceding document to appropriate status . I am using the function module CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN followed by ORDER_SAVE to do so.
But this does not change the status.
Please let me know if there is anything that has to be done while changing the status of CR through an ABAP Report.

Themes like Topaz are not working correctly using IE7 or IE8?

We are in the middle of an upgrade from APEX 3.1.2 to 4.0.2 and with this upgrade we also want to change the themes the apllications are using. In this case we are switching from 'Sand' to 'Topaz', but we encounter a problem with Standard Reports Regions. If you have a column with a setting 'Display as Text (based on LOV, does not save state) and the column has no value (null), the table cell is not drawn correctly on the screen. The cell borders (top and bottom) are not drawn, resulting in interrupted lines on the table rows. The same problem occurs if you have a column that contains a link, but the column value is empty.
When we use another browser (e.g. Google Chrome) the reports region is displayed correctly. However the standard browsers at our company are IE7 and IE8.
Sort of a workaround is to display a null value as or - , but for columns that contain links, that is a problem, because it will result in a clickable link on an 'empty' column value.
We tried other themes like Modern Blue, Simple Red, Builder Blue, Sunrise, etc. but they all have the same problem. Is there a workaround for this problem, because we reallty want to use the new Themes and using another browser is no option?

Appears to be due to empty-cellsIE's lack of/buggy support for the <tt>empty-cells</tt> property used in the report CSS.
I think you'll have to work round this by including some content in the cells using <tt>nvl</tt> etc in the query or the report Show Null Values as property. To avoid the problem you mentioned relating to clickable "empty" links, try using the zero-width space character entity<tt>&#8203;</tt> zero-width space character entity for this content. It should be effectively invisible.

Receive Connectors not working correctly - using random connectors.

I'm having a problem that I thought was DNS related, but I've since flushed the DNS.
What happens is when I try to relay off a Hub server, it always tries to use any random Receive connector, even though my client is explicitly in the Relay connector list.
When I telnet to the HT by hostname on 25, it opens a random receive connector. If I continue to /flush and telnet over and over, it cycles through all the connectors (default, Relay explicit and the others that block the connection).
When I telnet directly to the IP of the Relay connector, it works perfectly.
What would cause the server or client to not use the correct explicit connector all the time?

When you test this - I'm assuming you are coming in from a specific remote IP. What RC should this be hitting?
To troubleshoot this I like to change the banner on all of them so it says "Helo - Connector 1" "Helo - Connector" or something else meaningful like this.
Also enable verbose SMTP send receive logging on all receive connectors. What's in there?

How to correctly use Hide All/Show All in RH HTML review?

When using the Hide All or Show All filter options seen in RH HTML's Review Pane it states that all "comments and changes are hidden or seen in Review Pane as well as in Design Editor." I cannot see any change when I look at the inserted or deleted items in the Design View. Am I missing something? I am trying to find a way to show all changes as "final' like Word 2010 does by using "Final" before we accept/reject these changes. It appears that "View Selected Item" of the active topic may work the same way as I am hoping and shows all changes as if they were already accepted. Am I correct?
I haven't heard from anyone in the forum so I wonder if I wasn't clear enough? I am just trying to find out how you can view track changes seen inside a project's topics as if they were accepted, without having actually accepted them yet. I see that when I select the "View Selected Item" button I see everything, whether it inserted or deleted. Is that the only way to get a feel of what the final topic would 'look' like?

Certain webpages not loading correctly in FF, but load correctly using other browsers.

I have noticed that some webpages are loading/rendering differently when using Firefox, but will look correct when using other browsers, IE and Chrome. I have also checked using mobile version of FF, and I have the same issue. Also tried using a different computer, exact same issue arises.

I have been searching for an answer for many hours. I have tried different suggestions made in different threads, but I have not been able to find an answer. As mentioned, I have this issue on my computer (which has Ghostery, and No-Script), I have this issue on another computer (with no additional plug-ins installed), and I have this issue on my mobile phone (also no additional plugins).

I am not sure what you mean by, "using same log-in preferences for this site on all the devices??" The second computer is my wife's computer and she is the one who originally noted the discrepancy in the different browsers loading the same website differently. I don't know if that response helps in determining if we are using the same log-in preferences for the site. As to actually accessing the site in question, I am not logging in or anything, I am just typing the web address in and noticing it does not render the same as in Chrome.
I have been telling her to just use Chrome and not deal with this issue, but she is having issues with Chrome and her new Windows 8 computer, in which she notices that while using Chrome, her memory usage and CPU usage are peaked at 100%, making her computer run extremely slow. Alas, that is a completely different problem for a different forum!

Screen not displayed correctly using InteractiveViewer

I have created a report that prompts the User for Start and End dates. When the Prompt dialogue box is displayed using interactiveViewer the images are not displayed correctly.
Does anybody have a fix for this problem ??

My guess is that the toolbars don't show up when you view the reports either.
There should be a virtual directory called 'crystalreportviewers' on your webserver. This is where you will find all the images supplied by the viewer.
Right click on the image that is having problems and select properties. This should give you location of the viewer.
You should be able to trouble shoot this way be comparing the actual path with the real path of the missing images.

Problem with installing biztalk MSI via BTSTASK ImportApp -GAC_MSIL is not updating correctly using powershell

Program: Biztalk Server 2013
Server: 2012 Standard
issue: Installing via the BizTalk Server Administration Console using import MSI works fine, installing via powershell does not. Only a few of the items that should be updated in GAC_MSIL are being updated. The powershell script finishes with
Command succeeded with 0 errors, 0 warnings.
Looking through the powershell script's log file I see some warnings:

Visible differences in the Admin console is that when I stop the application via the Gui only the main application I want is stopped. When I stop the main application via powershell using the above functions a referenced application also shuts down
and that doesn't happen using the gui. When starting the main application via the Gui it also fires up the host instances. When starting the main application up via powershell it doesn't start the host instances and I have to make separate calls to
start them again.

Update to this:
In the above script running a MSIEXEC install after importing the app updates the GAC_MSIL just fine!

I'm still very curious why the import app on the gui has a slightly different behavior. I wonder if the gui also just runs a msiexec in the background after the app imports.
