Correction mismatch in Vendor and Personnel number

Dear AL,
While creating vendor accounts for personnel numbers through PRAA and later SM35 program one mistake happend . can
Vendor is assigned to other personnel number. Say 100 Vendor is assigned Personel number 200-and Vendor 200 is assigned to 300 and Vendor 300 is assigned to Personnel number- 100
Like A-B, B-C C-A
When i try through FK02, Vendor with same employee number exits. How we can do correction.
Please help me on this.

How did it happend in first place? What mistake?
How many are they in error?
Did you tried update mode through PRAA?
If it is very few and change directly, if it is more, then change through LSMW or any other upload  tool.

    I Think this is because no vendor assigned to outflow data. this is my guess i don't have much knowledge on MM. i have tried to restrict the keyfig's with stock category, but for most of the vendors or PO 's its unassigned.
    But we need the data in single as follows. can any one suggest me any steps to achieve this in BI or BO.

    Already tried constant selection but it did not helped, the same keyfigure value is displayed in all the rows.
    that means the total stock value is repeated for all the vendors for a particular material.

    Go to PQAH T Code,select key field PERNR with right click as output with name & text,in Org assignment select PA & PSA and execute you may get a report with emp no name PA & PSA.
    Same way all queries can be formed this way for you.

  • Assigning a personnel number (PERNR) to a network - CN21/22

    Hello guys,
    I would like to know how to assign a personnel number to a network. I have been able to do it on the person assignment tab in an activity but the field PERNR in AFVC table is blank? Is this the correct way to assign a personnel number to a network? How the field PERNR in AFVC table should get fill for a network?

    Hello Yahsaar,
    Agree with Sudhakar & Panagiotis.
    Person assignment needs to be done in Internal Activities created under Network. Ensure that appropriate Work center is maintained in internal Activity.
    Then in Work Center, go to HR assignment and do the assignment of Person's position number in it.

    That is a tricky question to answer.
    Technically you are correct. By going to PO13 you can look up the the personnel number that has relationship to the position.
    However, in the world where the system uses Management Global Employee / Concurrent Employee functionality, in the table T77S0 determine what is object P number suppose to be on the OM side. On the PA side the person holds a PERNR, but depending on the setting in T77S0, object P on the OM side might or might not be the PERNR you know on the PA side. It could be the person ID, random OM ID, or even central person ID...

    I do have user name and personnel number of an employee. How can I get the person number of this employee as it is used in address data, for example table ADR6? What's the link between personnel number and person number/address number?

    personnel number and person ID number are two different Terms.
    Personnel number is PERNR
    When a new employee is hired, the system automatically creates the external person ID and stores it in the Person ID infotype (0709).
    This is used majorly in the case of Concurrent employment

  • Standard report which importe personnel number from  one server to other

    Dear Hcm Gurus.
    Is any standard report exist in SAP Which imports Personnel number from one server to other server which are maintained in Source server ,imported all contents maintained in source server.
    e.g  An employee is hired in  u201C Server Au201D and personnel number  is generated internally while we want to imports same employee data with same personnel number in Server u201CBu201D

    Hi,
    a standard way should be setting up an ALE scenario between the two systems to transfer employee data and keep them updated. This needs a bit more set up than a single report to be run but it is a common way to create HR landscapes where different local HR systems consolidate data to a centralized system.
    The other options are valid, too. But I know them more for transfering data for test or validation reasons.
    If you could add some more information to the business background of your requirement we could add give a better suggestion which solution to head for.

  • PERNR - Personnel Number on vendor line item of the FI document Posting

    After posting a time sheet (PR05, PRFI, PRRW), the FI document created (display via FB03) has the personnel number on each of the GL line items, but the field is blank on the vendor line item.  Does anyone know how to get this to be populated with the same data as being populated on the GL line items (it's the same field BSEG-PERNR)?  I've made the field optional on the vendor reconciliation account as well as on the posting key, but no success yet.  thanks.

    The vendor master was populated.  The strange thing is that the GL line item gets populated but not the vendor line item in BKPF/BSEG.  We talked to SAP and to get the vendor line item to populate we would have to do an SAP coding change.
    I created a quickview (SQVI) between the appropriate tables to get the report out that we needed (a bit easier than an ABAP) - but nontheless it worked.

              Is it correct??
          b) vendor Payment term number of days I am using table LFB1 field Zterm to take payment term key not number of days.
               Based on this key i will go to table T052 and find corresponding number of days as told MM consultants .
               But this is not BW work. We need one single table from which we can take the field or enhance the current extractor
              with that field.
    So is there any other option for (b)
    and Whether steps for (a) is correct???

    Payment terms for purchasing doesn't come delivered as part of the R3/ECC tables and is usually is added as a custom field to EKKO and populated via a User Exit. That looks to be the instance in your case because the field that you show as being the payment terms begins with a Z (custom fields begin with Y or Z). That appears, without being able to actually validate in your R3/ECC environment, to be the correct field to use. You would have to validate, however, with the end customer or your MM function consultant to be 100% certain. If this is the correct one to use, you're going to have to enhance the 2LIS_02_HDR extractor by enhancing the extraction structure and creating the User Exit to read it from EKKO and populate into the DataSource.
    b) vendor Payment term number of days I am using table LFB1 field Zterm to take payment term key not number of days.
    Based on this key i will go to table T052 and find corresponding number of days as told MM consultants .
    But this is not BW work. We need one single table from which we can take the field or enhance the current extractor
    with that field.
    You can enhance the 2LIS_02_HDR extractor with the Vendor Payment Terms by joining the following in your User Exit:
    EKKO-LIFNR = LFB1-LIFNR
    EKKO-BUKRS = LFB1-BUKRS
    LFB1-ZTERM = T052-ZTERM
    This could either be done in a SELECT statement in the User Exit to do this equi join, or you could create a view on your R3/ECC environment and SELECT from that view.

  • How to delete and re-set sales personnel number

    Hi gurus,
    I have some problems on sales personnel
    1. I created a new record using T-code VPE1 and it asked for a TR (transport request).  I cancel so the TR is not generated.  I will delete the record. Is creating sales personnel a master data or config?  
    I found although I cancelled, the sales personnel number has increased e.g. from 4 to 5.   So how or where to reset the number back to 4?   I can't find the config or function to reset.  Any idea??
    2. Can the record 5 be deleted? And if able to reset the number, can 5 be still re-use?

    Thanks for your valuable info.
    Yes, I totally agreed with you on the unique id.  However, as I mentioned earlier in my scenario I have created the record but cancel the transport request (TR) in development environment.  Hence, this record will not be transported to QA n production eventually.
    Therefore, I need to delete the record.  Then reset the number back to 4.   After that, create the record again and henceforth the rest of the sales personnel.
    I wonder if it is correct that it will generate the TR i.e. if it's a master data in VPE1 after saving that's it.  If it does generate the TR then it is a config.   I am still puzzle if it is a config or something wrong with my development server.  
    Need your expertise advise.

    PRAA works absolutely fine. I have external number range for vendors.
    There is an option so that you can create HR accounts in vendor accounts
    Path:Accounting> Financial accounting>Travel
    management>Personal-Related Master Data> Create Vendors (tr.code PRAA)
    Look at this description:
    From the HR master data, this program creates a batch input session for
    maintaining person-specific vendor master records.
    The report can process vendor master records as follows:
    o Initial set up (create/add missing company code segment)
    o Uupdate (change completely according to vendor and HR reference)
    o Change (only according to HR master data, for example, name
    Block
    The following infotypes from HR master data are taken into account for
    the key date specified:
    o Actions (Infotype 0000)
    o Organizational Assignment (Infotype 0001)
    o Personal Data (Infotype 0002)
    o Permanent Residence (Infotype 0006 Subtype 1)
    o Bank Details (Infotype 0009 Subtype 0 or 2)
    All other required data is taken from a reference vendor that you can
    specify as a parameter when you start the program. Note that for the
    reference vendor, reference data must exist for all company codes that
    are applicable according to HR master data. Since program RPRAPA00 cannot
    assign vendor master record numbers externally when creating
    vendor master records, you must be sure that the reference vendor is
    assigned to an account group that requires internal number assignment.
    If no house bank is specified in the reference vendor, this is
    determined via feature TRVHB (Implementation guide for 'Travel Expenses'
    -> Transfer to Data Medium Exchange -> Set up Feature for Determining
    House Bank according to the employee's organizational situation.
    The link between the HR employee's master record and the corresponding
    vendor master record is set up by entering the personnel number in the
    company code segment of the vendor master record.
    General program flow
    Program RPRAPA00 creates a sequential work file in the specified
    directory. Ensure that you use a global directory that can be accessed
    by all application servers; a directory is automatically proposed. The
    work file is later transformed into a batch input session by the
    subsequent program RFBIKR00, which is started automatically.
    In test run mode this program delivers information messages which
    document the creation of a batch input session. Since each information
    message must be confirmed manually, the test run should only be
    performed for a small number of personnel numbers.
    In productive run mode, however, the program RFBIKR00 is automatically
    started as a job; the information mentioned above is stored in the job
    log in this case.
    Initial setup of vendor master records
    Corresponding vendor master records are created from the infotypes
    listed above and the non-HR-specific information from the reference
    vendor. During the process, the personnel number is stored in the
    company code segment of the vendor master record. Persons who already
    have a vendor master record with corresponding personnel number are
    rejected in this run.
    If a vendor master record already exists for a personnel number, but
    without a company code segment for the company code in which the
    employee exists at the key date entered, the program adds the required
    company code segment to the vendor master record. You must however
    activate the checkbox "Create new company code segment for existing
    vendor master records".
    The HR master data used is the info type record valid on the key date
    entered.
    Update of vendor master records
    The corresponding vendor master records are updated from the infotypes
    listed above and the non-HR-specific information from the reference
    vendor. Persons who already have a vendor master record with
    corresponding personnel number are rejected in this run. The system uses
    HR master data from the infotype records valid for the key date.
    Change vendor master records according to HR master data
    All HR-specific data is changed in the vendor master records for
    personnel numbers that have changes since the date recorded under '...
    with last change since'. The system uses HR master data again from the
    infotype records valid for the key date specified.
    Block vendor master records
    All vendor master records which correspond with the selected personnel
    numbers are blocked for posting.
    User exits
    For the following situations, two empty routines are supplied in the
    includes RPRAPAEX and RPRAPAEX&H5F001 which you can adapt to your
    requirements.
    o The employee's last name is entered in the sort field in the vendor
    master record. If you do not want this to happen, you can program
    the situation you want in the user exit routine
    'set&H5Fmc&H5Ffield&H5Fby&H5Fuser'.
    o If the address editing in the vendor master record does not suit
    your requirements, it can also be changed. For this purpose you have
    the user exit routine 'set&H5Faddress&H5Fby&H5Fuser'.
    o If you want to assign numbers to the vendor master records to be
    created via external number assignment (for example, vendor master
    record number &H3D personnel number), you can adjust the user exit
    routing 'SET&H5FVENDOR&H5FNO&H5FBY&H5FUSER' (in include RPRAPAEX&H5F00). Note
    that
    the account group of the reference vendor must also have external
    number assignment.
    Note that in each case a thorough knowledge of the programming
    language
    ABAP/4 is necessary.
    Set up vendor master records in a separate system
    The distribution of personnel master data from a HR system to an FI
    system is a prerequisite for creating, changing, and blocking vendor
    master records.
    In the section Master Data Distribution (link to separate HR unit) of
    the ALE IMG, an explanation is given regarding the way in which the
    FI
    System is supplied with the relevant employee data from the HR System
    In the FI System, report RPRAPA00 described here can be used to
    create,
    change, and block vendor master records.

    It appears that you are treating employee as vendor. You have not maintajned the personnel number of employees (in HR Module). The personnel number is the only feature within a client which is unique to an employee. You have to enter a personnel number before you can display and maintain an employee's master data and time data.
