  • PM: Create notification from a work order using transaction IW32.

    Hi guys,
I am trying to create a Notification for a Functional Location thru Work Order Using transaction Code IW32.
The actual transaction works fine as below -
    1. Open a work order in change mode using T code IW32
    2. Choose tab "Objects" to see the list of functional locations.
    3. Select a line with a functional loc, for which you want to create Notification & click "Create" Button at the bottom of the list.
    4. Enter Notification type on the pop up screen & enter.
    5. Enter the activity code, text & start date on the notif create screen & click Back. You can see the temp Notif Number in the row selected from the object list.
    6. Click save on the order change screen & the Notification is saved & is associated with the order & func Loc..
However I can not do this in a program.
I tried using Batch Input method. It works, but the problem is if you have more than 1 page of the Objects (Func locations) in objects tab, you can not goto the next pages.
I also tried using BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE. Which doesnot for this purpose. It tries to create Notification but can't associate with the order.
    I appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Raj

    Hi:
Check with Tcode: IBIP - Plant maintenace batch input utility tool.
    Hope, it may help!

  • Detect user to see if still using the transaction code

    Hi,
Is there a way to detect if the user is still working in a transaction code that the Exit FM is linked to? I have a requirement to detect the user's action within the transaction code enviroment and then according to whatever the user is doing, the Exit FM should process certain tasks.  Instead of checking for the OK_CODE for the screen status, can I check the transaction code level to see if the user is  still working with it?
    Thanks,
    RT

    Hi Rich,
Actually I am trying to detect whether a user is still working in the transaction code or not. I have tried to code the PF-STATUS and SY-UCOMM to detect the user's allowable actions within this transaction code, but I was told that the Exit FM cannot recognize the PF-STATUS and its OK_CODE, so I am now trying to take a different approach by detecting whether the user has either exited the transaction code or the BW system.
I am trying to refresh a transparent table within the Exit FM based on whether the user is doing something when using this transaction code. The Exit FM is doing the refresh.
Would you think this is possible? Please advise.
    Thanks,
    RT

  • Any Special transaction code for Activation of Work flow

    Hi all.
Any Special transaction code for Activation and deactive of Work flow?
which have we need to transport after WF (like task, method, rule)?
To be reward all helpfull answers.
    Regards.
    Jay

If I understand your question correctly, you want to know how to activate your workflow after transport ?
Normally, the status of a workflow is included in your transport (if I'm not mistaken)
So activate/deactivate in your dev-system and transport it..

  • If a transaction code is assigned to a method of a global CL,how it works?

    Hi gurus,
here is my question with options below.
In a OO transaction, a transaction code is assigned to a method of a global class
    CL_A. Afterwards,
this method can be called directly using the transaction code. What limitation
exists with regard to the (instance) constructor of this class CL_A?
    - The constructor must not have any importing parameters.T
    - There is no limitation. F
    - The constructor must be defined in the protected section.F
    Kindly give me the explanation...

    Hi Babu,
This transaction type is called "OO transaction model".
This is what the system do when you execute a OO transaction model:
    "  Start the OO application
       CREATE OBJECT OO_APPLICATION TYPE (CLASS).
       CALL METHOD OO_APPLICATION->(METHOD).
"  Leave the transaction, because the application is finished
"  after calling its 'main' method.
       LEAVE PROGRAM.
    There is same limitations:
    - If you calling up a transaction that is linked to an instance method, the system automatically generates an instance( the constructor method is automatically called ) of the class in its own internal session.
<b>- The method called and the constructor methods must not have import parameters defined as mandatory. Otherwise a Short dump will prensented for you "<i>A mandatory parameter was not populated when dyn. calling a method</i>".</b>
    - You can't define a CONSTRUCTOR Method in Private or Protected Section, Constructor Must be Public.
    - COMMIT WORK is expressly forbidden when you use the OO transaction model to avoid consistency problems.

  • ABAP Query Execution via Custom Transaction Code - Not working

We have created an ABAP Query in our DEV client and we then created a transaction code to run that query. We have done this because the customer does not want anyone to have access to SQ01, SQ02 in production. This works great in DEV but we can not get it to work in production.
The ABAP Query was exported to our Prod client successfully.  I say exported because you do not do direct transports with queries.
We then transported the new transaction code to run the query to production and it was successful.
However, when we run the transaction is production we get a sys dump stating it can not find the query.
We believe the problem is the TRDIR table is missing an entry for the program in production (it has an entry in DEV).
I would have thought that the export on the query would have brought in this entry -but obviously not.
Any suggestions on how we can get this entry into the production client?  Did we miss a step on the export that would do this?  We want to only bring over this entry - not the entire TRDIR table for obvious reasons (size (1.5 million entries, programs not ready for production, etc.).
    Please help!
    Thanks.
    Scott

    Hi,
The above solution will work if you assign the transaction in one server, If you want this will not work in quality/production boxes when transported the query..the program name will not be the same in all the servers...
    For this. Do the below:
In SE93, Create a Paramter Transaction
    -> Transaction = Start_report
-> In default values, give the below details:
         D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE = AQ
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT = Name of the Query
         D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = User Group
Save the transaction..Now if the program is generated with different names in the quality/proudction, this will still work..

  • Correct Posting Manual Bank Statement - Transaction Code FF67

    Hello,
It would be very grateful if someone can advice me on an issue pertaining to transaction code FF67.
A posting has been made with the wrong posting date. Also, the posted amount has not been recorded in FI because the amount posted was not allocated to any G/L Account.
The status of this posting is "Manual Posting Completed".
The questions, it is possible to delete this posted statement which has no effect on the accounts in FI.
Or, can this completed posting be edited ?
What will be the impact when the item is deleted.
    Thanks and regards,
    Elvis

    Hi there,
What I mean about posting not hitting the GL accounts is, the balance of statement 99 is 3,000,000.00 and statement 100 is 3,500,000.00 for example, my current balance on the bank account bears the amount of statement 99.
Statement 100 has a status as posting completed, but one way or the other, the line items does not reflect in my bank account balance which should have been 3,500,000.00.
How would you reverse the entry that has a status "Posting completed"?
    Thanks,
    Elvis

  • Assignment of format to payment medium work bench

    Hi,
In DMEE t code i developed one format under paym tree type and i activated also.
But it is not appearing in FBZP - use payment medium work bench.
where i have to assign my format.
    sateesh

SAP has provided some of the DME structures for different countries. like GB_BACS for GB etc.
If your client is not part of those structure, probably you are required to create your own structure. It also depends on the bank of your client. They may want the file in a different format. Therefore, you need to first talk to the bank and get a sample file in which they need the format.
You can create the DME structure by using transaction code DMEE - Tree Type is PAYM.
You can create the DME structure as a flat file or XML file based on the requirement of your client (bank).
You can also copy the standard structure to Z structure and modify it according to your requirements.
Please also make sure that you have made settings in OBPM1, OBPM2, OBPM3 and OBPM4 (More importantly you should maintain the path where it needs to be downloaded)
Complete your FBZP settings - Importantly payment methods in country, select your DME structure.
Take help of basis consultant in order to create the directories. You can see the directories in AL11.
If there are no directory path maintained in OBPM4, then the file gets saved to temporary directory in AL11.
If you are using DME structure, then forget the classic payment medium.
    1. First ask the bank for the format, file type etc. Ask bank for any document available.
    2. The see for that country if SAP has provided any standard DME structure (Transaction Code DMEE - Tree Type PAYM)
    3. If this is not sufficient, then copy the standard DME strcutre and modify it accordingly to your requirement.
    4. Assign this DME structure in FBZP - Payment Methods in country. * Use payment medium workbench
    5. Check with your basis whether any secured folders are created in AL11 (where the output file needs to get generated) - If not ask them to create.
6.Check your settings in OBPM1 / OBPM2 / OBPM3 / OBPM4 - (In OBPM4 make sure you have given the secured folder path and file name for your variant)
    7. Run F110 - Check you have maintained your variant details properly for program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM
If you maintain all these steps correct, hope your DME file should get generated.
