Correspondence to customer F.17
Hi all,
I would like to see subtotal in an output of correspondence to customer in F.17 (e.g. subtotal amount by reference field - XLBNR) but I didnt success to perform through sort variants for correspodence and line items).
So, is there any way to do it.
Regards,
D
Hi Dragan,
I had came across the same requirement, but could not achieve it through the standard output. So had to create a Z driver program for the same which was a copy of the standard one (RFKORD11 in our case). You can manipulate the sorting logic in the Z driver program and then assign it to your correspondence type.

Swapnil

Title or Subject Of Email for Correspondence of Customer Invoice
Hi
I have created three new correspondence types for invoices and account statement for customers for a new company code and copy those correspondence types from existing company cody. The correspondence are also active active to be sent through emails through SAP connect. My problem is that email subject still shows the old company code name when received in the inbox. Can anybody guide me or tell me how i can change the subject or title of the email when it is received in inbox. Thanks in advance to all.Hi,
I assume that you are talking about the title of the email for an output type for invoice.
If this is correct, in NACE, go to the output type.
Here on the left hand node, select Mail title and texts and in the right hand side you will have a screen. Give the value as say for example INVOICE &VBRK-BUKRS&.
In this case, the title will be INVOICE followed by teh company code for which you are creating the invoice. If you also want the invoice number to be in the title, you can have this value as INVOICE &VBRK-BUKRS&_&VBRK-VBELN&
Hope this helps -
Multiple language correspondence with customer
Ability to generate letters in multiple languages to inhance the communication between customer and the business. guide me how can we print letters in different languages.
Thanks
NIkHi Michael,
I should have told you that we are implementing SAP ESS/MSS business packages, so I guess there is no need to hardcode language content. I think I kind of understood your solution, but I am still trying to comprehend it fully. Please let me know if this could work.
Let's say the WebLogic portal launches the German quicklink - (/irj/portal/german). So this would try to open the portal in the default language which could be English. Let us say we have a hidden iView on the home page of SAP portal that sets the user's language to German. Would this display the SAP Portal in German language immediately as they are single-signed on from WebLogic. Or would it display in German only when the user clicks some other navigational menu after being logged on to SAP portal. If the problem is that the portal displays in the required language only for the subsequent clicks (i.e. after they log on), then maybe we can create a portal desktop to display home page in the correct language based on the portal URL alias using quicklink. Please let me know if this makes sense. -
Correspondence Management - Customizing bullet/numbering style
Hi everybody,
I'd like to customize the CM Editors View a little bit - the bullet/numbering-styling - to be exact. When I browse to "ip:port/lc/crx/de/index.jsp#/content/cm/" I found the file called "tbxeditor-config.xml". There I'm able to add/remove fonts, etc. But I couldn't find any hints to change bullet/numbering-styling e.g. changing from 1,2,3 to $1, $2, $3. Any ideas?
Thanks in advanceHave you had a look at the custom numbering in List Module If that suits your requirement ?
You will have to create multiple text modules of each bulleted item and create a list with custom bullet numbering that contains all the text modules.

Correspondence in e-Recruiting with EhP4
Hi,
We are running ERECRUIT 604 SP3.
I try to create any letter using standard SAP setup, e.g. returning forgotten password HRRCF_CS_EXA_NEW_PASSWORD (one of the simplest one), but the system always returns the same form - HRRCF_CS_IT_APPLICANT (or HRRCF_CS_APPLICANT - I cannot figure it out) - without regard to the setup in the table V77RCF_ACT2FORM.
Up to EhP3 the table V77RCF_ACT2FORM was the place where it was possible to assign a required smartform, also the customized one, to the selected activity. Now I cannot find out where the assignment of form to the activities is done.
Another issue in the new EhP4 is where and how to get an overview of the outstanding correspondence and mass-process it?
Please, anyone has an answer?
Best regards
BeataHello Beata,
short version:
use HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_NEW_PASSWORD
long version:
the reason for you correspondence effect is just a wrong correspondence smartform customized for the activity. So V77RCF_ACT2FORM is the right place to look at.
E-Recruiting started with a correspondence change solution using the BTF editor. Later with 600 there came another solution using include texts. Up to E-Recruiting 600 EhP3 you can choose for simple correspondence and invitation which one you want to use. Therefore you have to set T77S0 RECFA INDCO switch and assign the correct document category to the activity category.
With EhP4 this changes. Only the include text solution is now supported. But now it uses not only a plain text edit but an editor which allows formating of the include texts when changing them.
As it is still the include text solution, the smartforms you use need the interface of the reference smartforms for this solution. These are HRRCF_CS_IT_APPLICANT for simple correspondence and HRRCF_CS_IT_APPL_INVITATION for invitations. If you use a smartform with a wrong interface the system sends the reference smartform instead (no idea why there is not an error message, probably a bad joke :o). So using HRRCF_CS_EXA_NEW_PASSWORD results in sending HRRCF_CS_IT_APPLICANT as it has the wrong interface, HRRCF_CS_IT_EXA_NEW_PASSWORD will work.
for the other question:
When everything was rebuild in WebDynpro SAP accidently "lost" some of the functionality from EhP3 and lower. Due to the huge demand of customers sap will bring the missing stuff with EHP4 SP4 as downgrade from EhP5. Part of it is the recruiter's work center, a dashboard for recruiters. According to the EhP5 documentation for the HCM_ERC_CI_3 business function, this dashboard will include My Planned Activities and My Planned Correspondence Activities. So far I had no possibility to check if SP4 really has this (as this SP is not existing yet officially) but I could verify that a EhP4 SP4 system includes the business function HCM_ERC_CI_3 so it is highly probable that it is there.
Best Regards

Vipin,
Find the config below
1.Activate the New General Ledger Accounting by a single click on the clock icon
2.You will reach to change view "activation of New GL A/cg" detail screen and tick the checkbox and save.
3. After activation of New General Ledger Accounting, you exit the IMG screen When you re-enter , you find that a new node is added Financial Accounting (New)
4.After activation of New General Ledger Accounting , a new sub node appears in the IMG structure.
This sub node is Define Segment
The menu path is:
SAP Customizing IMG ---> Enterprise Structure -
> Definition ---> Financial Accounting ---> Define Segment
In this IMG activity, you define your segments.
If you then define your profit centers, you can enter an associated segment in the master record of a profit center. The segment is then derived from the assigned profit center during posting.
5.Activation has created a new field in Profit Center Master Record : the SEGMENT
6.Leading and Non- Leading Ledgers
In General Ledger Accounting , you can use several Ledgers in parallel. This allows you to produce financial statements according to different accounting principles. A ledger uses several dimensions from the totals table it is based upon. When defining Ledgers , one must be defined as the Leading Ledger . The Leading Ledger is based on the same accounting principles as that of the consolidated financial statements. It is integrated with all subsidiary ledgers and is updated in all company codes. This means that it is automatically assigned to all company codes. In each company code, the Leading Ledger receives exactly the same settings that apply to that company code : the currencies, the fiscal year variant and posting period variant .
You must designate one of your ledgers as the Leading Ledger. It is not possible to designate more than one ledger as the leading ledger.
The menu path is :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
> Ledger -
> Define Ledgers for General Ledger Accounting
Clicking on the checkbox identifies one of your ledgers as the Leading Ledger.
7. Activation of Non Leading Ledgers
Non Leading Ledgers are parallel ledgers to the Leading Ledger . They can be based on local accounting principle, for example. You have to activate a non- Leading Ledger for individual company codes. Non- Leading Ledgers can have different fiscal year variants and posting period variants per company code to the Leading Ledger of this company code.
The menu path is :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
> Ledger -
> Define and Activate Non Leading Ledgers
8.Assign scenarios to ledgers
A Scenario combines Customizing settings from different business views. Each business view specifies which posting data is transferred from different application components in General Ledger Accounting, such as cost Center update or Profit Center update .You assign the desired scenarios to your ledgers. For each ledger, you define which fields are filled with posting data from other application components.
SAP delivers a number of scenarios in the standard system. It is not possible to create additional scenarios.
The menu path is:
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
>Fields -
> Display Scenarios for General Ledger Accounting.
9. Cost of sales accounting
Cost of sales accounting is a way to create a profit and loss statement (P&L) for a company by comparing the revenues to the costs or expenses incurred to obtain these revenues.
The expenses are mainly divided by functional area such as:
Manufacturing
Administration
Sales
Research and Development
We can activate Cost of Sales Accounting by the following menu path :
SAP Customizing IMG -
> Financial Accounting ( New ) -
> Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New) -
> Ledgers -
>Ledger------> Activate Cost of Sales Accounting

Conversion of External material with Internal using search help
Hi,
We are working on ECC 6.0 for automotive company and have following scenario.
One OE (External/Customer) material number (MARA-BISMT) with more than one internal material number (MARA-MATNR). This has been done because same customer material is sold by delar for different brands, for exmaple BMW, Ford, Opel. Therefore we have different internal materials with respective brands with same external number in material master.
Business requirement is, all correspondence with customer or vendor should be done using external/customer material number.
Whereas all internal business process should use internal SAP material number.
For example as given below
External No. --> Internal No.
BMW-1 --> 1001 (Brand - BMW)
BMW-1 --> 1002 (Brand - Ford)
BMW-1 --> 1003 (Brand - Opel)
Now the requirement is that user will create document, for example PO or SO, with external/customer material number. While
doing that user should get a pop up screen after entering external material number, if external material is attached/corresponds to multilple internal material number. Then user will selects correct internal number from pop up screen and return to document screen but material field should displayed with external material number.
For example in above case, user will enter BMW-1. Pup up screen will have three internal numbers 1001, 1002 and 1003. User selects 1003 but after material conversion material field of the document will displayed as BMW-1.
We are using Customer enhancement - "MGA00003 Material Master (Industry and Retail): Number Display" for input/ouput conversion.
Also we have created Elementary Search Help - SEARCH_OE_NUMBER with Hot Key "Q". This search help is included into
collective search help "MAT1_A" so that user can able to see multiple internal material number by entring customer material number.
We are able to convert external material number with internal material number and put the external material while creating PO. But when we add another item in PO, search help is getting called again and again for first line item even after conversion of matrial has been taken place.
How we can avoid this multiple calling of serach help?
Is there any better way to achieve this requirement?
Please help us.
Thanks,We have resolved this issue by redesigning material master data.

IOS8 Multitasking Favorites in wrong order
Hi,
I updates to IOS8 and like the phone favorites beeing displayed in the multitasking screen.
But I have a little problem. In the phoone favorites I keep the most important favorites at the top of the list so I don't have to scroll, when I look for them.
Now in the multitasking screen the favorites are displayed bottom-up, meaning the favorite at the bottom of my list is shown first at the entry at the top of my favorites list is displayed last.
To me this is the wrong way around, hence I want to change it. Is there a way to configure the sort order of the favrites list?
Thanks in advance
iFAn update..
This issue I subsequently discovered applied to my iPad 2 as well as friends using iPhone 4s, 6 and 6 Plus.
Interestingly if you create a new favourite that you give a Title that is well known e.g. Buckingham Palace it will pause briefly and find the location, suggesting although it can't find the location you specified it then uses the Title to search. (This may explain how I was getting the wrong location originally).
I have been through Apple support chat, been referred to a higher level / call back and finally had the issue referred back to "Engineering".
I sent them videos of the problem and finally went into the Apple Store in Regent Street London and replicated the issue on a display iPhone 6. Which suggests nothing to do with my personal settings / hardware / AppleID etc.
I had daily call backs for three days and prompt email correspondence (excellent customer service from Ireland) whilst Engineering looked into the issue and finally heard they had managed to replicated the problem and thanked me for raising it.
I suspect this means the new feature may be reversed out in an upcoming release but no fix for now .
Hope this helps

Generate Welcome Letter for Business Partner in ISU?
Hi Experts,
Welcome Letter to be generated, when a new business partner is created using FPP1 Tcode.
If I created a Business Partner, so the system automatically will generate a welcome letter for the partner in ISU.
How to do it?
Thakns in advance.
SekharHi,
you can use event 1052 to create the correspondence container we a BP is created. I don't think there's any customizing for that. You create a correspondence type ZBPC in:
Financial Accounting > Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable > Basic Functions > Correspondence > Define Correspondence Types
the you assign a print form to the correspondence type:
Financial Accounting > Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable > Basic Functions > Define Application Forms for Correspondence
an in you event you call functions:
FKK_GET_CORR_CUSTOMIZING - Read correspondence type customizing
FKK_CREATE_COKEY - If you need to create a cluster of data due to performance reason whe you fill data that it's not possible to put in DFKKCOH or DFKKCOHI. If you do taht you'll need to do somthing like:
write it with the export command,
so that the cluster structure is build by that command.
EXPORT i_zdomcluster FROM i_zdomcluster
TO DATABASE dfkkcodclust(co)
ID w_cokey.
Pick it up again, access with relid for index use
SELECT * FROM dfkkcodclust INTO TABLE i_dfkkcodclust
WHERE relid = c_relid_co
AND cokey = w_cokey.
And then you call function module FKK_WRITE_CORR to create you correspondence container.
FPCOPARA will do the rest...
I use this to create direct debit letters when a customer account changes to ask the customer to go to the bank and request to chage hsi domiciliation details.
Cheers,
Adriano.

IOS8.1 maps new favorites not storing address and old wrong / no address
Since updating to iOS8.1 on an iPhone 5s, Yosemite 10.10, iTunes 12.0.1 I have discovered that:
i) My existing Favourites as imported from iOS7 under Bookmarks have randomly:
a) Not found the address
b) Found a random address that relates to the Favorite name but not to the address originally bookmarked.
ii) When I add a new Favorite and then try to use it the Favorite name appears briefly in the search bar and then goes blank, as if no address was associated to the Favorite.
(This suggests to me that my Favorite list is corrupt and will not update etc)
I have been into an Apple Store and they verified I was creating the Favorite correctly and they were amazed as I.
To try and remedy this I have now done a clean install of iOS8.1 and cleared all Recents and all Favorites bar one and when adding a new Favorite the same as ii) above happens.
Any other ideas?
Regards,
Simon
P.s I had a similar problem with iOS8.0 but ignored it...An update..

How do I completely enable a new custom asset in Correspondence Management?
Hello!
I'm trying to add a new custom asset to the Correspondence Management Solution Accelerator, and have it behave like all other assets in the system (ie searchable, updateable etc). I'm almost there, but there's obviously something I'm missing, and I was hoping someone here might have done this before, or have a link to some documentation regarding the matter that I may have missed. The asset I'm trying finish creating is for a LiveCycle user in a specific domain. This is what I've done so far...
I've created the asset definition MyUser.fml and placed it in the FSIApp\Portal\webapp\WEB-INF\assetDefinitions folder. I've then registered this fml file in the spring-config.xml file in both the 'lc.cm.assetDefinitionsDeployer' and 'lc.cm.assetTypeRegistryBootstrapper' beans. In the 'lc.cm.assetTypeRegistryBootstrapper' bean, I set the key to 'MyUser', and the value to the class path of my Java class that represents this asset.
On the Java side I've created the MyUser.java class, as well as MyUserService.java and MyUserServiceImpl.java to allow the searching, updating etc of the MyUser assets.
After running the Bootstrap process, I can log into the Manage Templates application, select Data Dictionaries from the 'View' dropdown, and view/edit the MyUser data dictionary properties with no problems. So I'm happy that the asset has successfully been registered with the application.
Where I'm stuck is choosing the MyUser asset from the drop down, and searching the system for assets of that type. I can choose the MyUser asset type from the 'view' drop down, but the search result returns an empty array.
From digging into the existing Manage Templates code, I've created the following classes:
public interface IMyUserService extends IEventDispatcher - containing the following function definitions:
function getMyUser(id:String):IAsyncToken;
function getAllMyUsers(param1:Query=null):IAsyncToken;
public class MyUserSeviceProvider extends ServiceProvider - containing a getter/setter for MyUserServiceDelegate
public class MyUserServiceDelegate extends ServiceDelegate implements IMyUserService - containing the functions defined in IMyUserService, as well as creating the RemoteObject to perform the actions.
The MyUserServiceDelegate constructor is:
public function MyUserServiceDelegate ()
super();
_service = new RemoteObject("myapplication.services.myUserService");
_service.showBusyCursor = true;
This is the code for the function in getAllMyUsers in MyUserServiceDelegate:
public function getAllMyUsers(param1:Query = null):IAsyncToken
var operationToken:AsyncToken = this._service.getAllMyUsers(param1);
var token:IccToken = new IccToken(this.className + ".getAllMyUsers");
operationToken.addResponder(getDefaultResponder(token));
return token;
I've also made changes to the following config files to register the RemoteObject destination specified in the MyUserServiceDelegate constructor:
spring-http-config.xml:
<bean name="/service/UserService" class="org.springframework.remoting.httpinvoker.HttpInvokerServiceExporter">
<property name="service" ref="myapplication.services.myUserService" />
<property name="serviceInterface" value="com.mydomain.lc.services.MyUserService" />
</bean>
remoting-config.xml:
<destination id="myapplication.services.myUserService"/>
flexmessagebroker-servlet.xml
<flex:remoting-destination ref="myapplication.services.myUserService" />
Above my Java class definition of MyUserServiceImpl.java I have the following line:
@Service("myapplication.services.myUserService")
So......
My problem is that when I choose the MyUser asset from the drop down, no search results are returned (an empty array is returned). I have logging code in the getAllMyUsers function in the MyUserServiceDelegateclass.as, as well as logging in the MyUserServiceImpl.java class (not shown in the above code snippets) and neither of them fire when selecting the MyUser asset from the drop down. So neither of the classes are being called on the search. If I force a search via the following line:
MyUserSeviceProvider.getMyUserService().getAllMyUsers();
the logging in both the Flex and Java classes works (and the java class returns the results as expected). So I'm happy that these functions, as well as the linking between the Flex and the Java side is working correctly.
The step that I can't seem to work out is having the selection of the asset in the drop down call the desired function automagically. I've been digging into the SearchManager, the ServiceLocator and heaps of other classes, but I'm falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole...
Can anyone shed some light on what they think might be needed to make the final link here? I've been digging and digging into the code for days now and my brain hurts!!
Any advice appreciated!!
Thanks,
KristianHi Saket,
By 'not really complete' I'm assuming (hoping) that some work has been done on this already. Our project requires the use of custom assets, so it's very important that we get this functionality running as soon as possible.
Any help, unsupported or otherwise, would be great. Feel free to email me any details if you'd prefer not to post anything public on the boards.
Cheers,
Kristian
