Corrupt File error
Has anyone had a problem opening PDF files in Microsoft Outlook using Adobe Reader. Here recently every time I try to open a PDF it says the file is corrupt. Thanks
Hi EMG,
Sorry to hear you're having problems! Hopefully the following
will help resolve the issue...
When I navigate to
http://www.americanmarinerjobs.com/includes/ice/ice.js
I receive a 404 error - File Not Found - instead of a prompt to
download/view the file. This indicates to me that the includes
folder didn't make it to your server. Try putting/uploading the
includes folder to your server again.
If you can see in Remote View that the file does exists on
the server, try deleting the includes folder from your server, then
re-upload it.
If this still doesn't resolve the problem, delete the
includes folder from your local site, then remove and recreate an
editable region in your page. This will recreate the includes
folder and a fresh ice.js file. Then try uploading this new folder
to your server.
Please let me know if any of these troubleshooting steps
resolves the problem.
Best regards,
Corey

Corrupt file error while writting a file in compress mode
Hello,
I have a scenario where i am writting data in a file in appending mode with filter 'compress' addition using open dataset, on Al11 for the first set of records it works fine but if this file is accessed again for writting data in next select statement ( its between select endselect),the file is getting corrupted, if i try to open this file corrupt file error come. can someone help.
Thanks and Regards,
GunjanHi Gunjan,
Unfortunately, you can't do in that way. The behaviour of that OPEN and FILTER 'compress' clause is to create a compacted file, to be read later, but it can be appended... all your writes go to a pipe and when you close the file this is sent to 'compress' program or other filter and than a compacted file is created.
You can't go back and start inserting again after close it.
Follow documentation:
http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPOPEN_DATASET_OS_ADDITION.htm
The addition FILTER must not be used together with the addition AT POSITION or for the access type FOR UPDATE.

Corrupt file error - ipod nano (HELP!)
Each time that I put a new CD into my computer and add it to my iTunes library so that I can transfer the songs onto my iPod nano I get a "corrupt file" error message relating to my iPod and I also get a pop-up asking me to register my iPod even though I've done this already. This happened again yesterday and this time ALL of the songs on my iPod were erased! I don't know what the problem is and why I'm getting this "corrupt file" message. I need help - does anyone know what I can do?
hiya!
I get a "corrupt file" error message relating to my iPod and I also get a pop-up asking me to register my iPod even though I've done this already.
it's plausible here that you're getting the drive-confusion-related version of the chkdsk (based on the fact that you're constantly getting the iPod setup assistant).
see:
Da Gopha: chkdsk errors

Windows confuses iPod with network drive and may keep iPod from mounting or songs may seem to disappear

How do i fix or avoid a corrupted file error message
i get an corrupted file error message when i try to send a video from photoshop elements 5.0 to adobe premiere elements 3.0. video plays in photoshop but wont transfer, by photoshop, disc or file. cants get anything into premiere elements. help?
lyndaloonLynda,
Are you attempting to send a video file which you have on your hard drive to Premiere Elements3? Or is it a slideshow which you have just made in the PSE slide show create function which you are attemptin to send ?
If it is a video file on your hard drive, then I suggest that you first try to bring the video directly in to Premiere Elements 3. If you have already attempted adding a video file directly to Prem Elem 3, then I recommend that you post your question in the separate forum for Premiere Elements. I suggest that you include info about the file type and codec of the video file as well as what variation of Windows you are running.
Premiere Elements forum at
http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere_elements
FYI
- I have previously sent photo files from Photoshop Elements 5 to Premiere Elements 3: however I have never attempted to do a Send of a video file. There are many types of video files for which the PSE 5 Organizer has very limited support and that is why I think that you would be better using Premiere Elementa 3 to work with video.
Or perhaps you might have a newer format of video file that Premiere Elements 3 does not support for editing. For example, AVCHD format is not supporedt in PE 3 but is supported in newer versions. This question about types of video is better asked in the Premiere Elements forum. -
File too large error or corrupt file error
I have scanned some images using a Nikon Cool Scan and when trying to import the the NEF files into Lightroom I get a corrupt or unrecognized file error. Bring it into CS2 or CS3 and save as TIFF and try the import and get a File too large error.
Any ideas or help on this. What is the file size max for import?
The scan is 4000dpi even tried at 300dpi.
Thanks in advance for any insight.> Is it truly a size problem? If so, what is recommended? Lee Jay states that 10000 pixels is the max on either side. Okay, in DPI, what does that translate to?
<br />
<br />There's no necessary relationship between pixels and dots. You could scan an image at 4,000,000 dpi and translate it into an image of 100 x 100 pixels. I've used ridiculous extremes to make a point. The LR limitation is currently 10,000 pixels for any side. So you could have 9,000 x9,000 pixels but not 10,001 x50 pixels.
<br />
<br />Is this now clearer?

Corrupt file error won't let me manage nano
I followed the 5 R's from the Apple website, but iTunes will not allow me to run the ipod updater and refuses even to show the ipod in its listing. It says "corrupt file /ipod-control/itunes run chkdsk". I actually ran a chkdsk from dos and that errors out saying the ipod_control/itunes is inaccessible. Is there an Apple program to just reformat the ipod withou having to "read" it, as the iTunes seems to? I did put on the latest iTunes (7.2).
dell Windows XP ProYou could try a format of the iPod in Windows. A full format does a check and remap of bad sectors on the iPod hard drive, and you would need to restore the iPod as normal (using the iPod updater) afterward. This can also work when the iPod is recognized by the computer, but not by the updater.
First, put the iPod into forced disk mode.
See: How to put the iPod into disk mode.
On your PC, go "my computer" and right click on the iPod, then choose "format". Ensure the settings are at "default" and that "quick format" is not checked. Now select "format". It will take a while, but when that's finished, restore the iPod using the updater.
Also, see if either of these help.

It seems that as of yesterday 05/10/13, anything that is downloaded will not install. Tried updating to the latest version of firefox, but that give the error of corrupt files.
It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is otherwise interfering with downloading files.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
See:

*browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps. -
hey i was loading up my iTunes the other day and it took a little longer than normal. after the wait a popup message in the corner hidden icon section of the screen a message pops up saying "The file or Directory C:\Documents and Settings\Andy\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes library.itl is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility". I followed the path to the corrupt file and i found it. I tried to delete it thinking that if i just completely remore itunes and reinstall it it'll be fine. Well theni try to delete the iTunes Library.itl file it wont let me because it is a corrupt file and it tells me so. Now i being desperate tried to find the Chkdsk Utility, but i cant find it anywhere. Is there some way out of this problem cause i'm an abid user of iTunes and would like to fix this problem.

Corrupt File Error when Downloading TV Episode
I will always get to 330-40 MB of downloading the season finale to Deadwood Season 2, and I will get unable to download part of the file is corrupt. Is there any thing I can do to download the rest of the episode? Or is this a problem on Apples end?
I'm having the same problem with the second episode of "The Venture Bros." season 3. It makes it to 80.1 MB, then tells me there was an error in downloading and that the file may be corrupted. The dialog box tells me to choose "check for purchases" from the "store" menu to re-download the file. When I do this, iTunes starts downloading the file again, from the 70 MB point, and when it gets back up to 80.1 the same error message pops up.
I've tried deleting the file in the downloads window, but this doesn't seem to have any effect. It does not actually get rid of the content that has already been downloaded. I think that if I could find the file that contains the partial download in the Finder and delete that then iTunes would (maybe) restart the download from the beginning and (maybe) it would get all the way through. Does anyone know where those files are stored?
Thanks,
Blake. -
Corrupted File Error when Downloading Movie
I have tried numerous times to download "Sweet Home Alabama" in the past few days and each time it gets to the end I get an error that the file appears to be corrupted. In the iTunes download window, it shows error -100008 under Status. I have reported to Apple and they have not been alot of help.
I have tried:
-reinstalling iTunes (yes, latest version)
-the firewall is off
-no web acceleration software
-I have Comcast cable for ISP
Just a few days before I had downloaded another movie with no problem. The only thing that changed after that was I installed the latest iTunes update and set up my TV. I tried unsyncing the TV so it wasn't listed to see if that made a difference, but it didn't. Any suggestions on what to do? I don't want to spend money on movies, if I can't be certain of downloading them.
Thanks.
BarbaraI am having a similar problem downloading the Men's Single Final from 1980 Borg vs. McEnroe from the iTunes Store. I tried purchasing the file a few months ago and had the same problem. Apple credited the purchase and I was hoping they had solved the problem, but no luck this time either. I guess it is the curse of John McEnroe.

Unable to download corrupted files error 100000
I have 5 purchases from iTunes that will not download. Whenever I open iTunes, they begin to download, and then error code -100000 pops up saying the files are corrupted. I have tried going to users/music/itunes/itunesmusic/downloads. But the files aren't there. I read that if you can find where the files are on your system then you can delete them and re-download the intact files.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance. This is a huge problem for Apple. It's happening to me all the time. They've given me track credits several times, and so far I haven't been able to use them all up because the new tracks that I pick to buy with my credits have the same problem!
Sometimes you can tell beforehand when a file won't download because it's corrupt, if you try to preview it it doesn't play. Other times it plays fine in preview but you can't download it.
I think these guys made some big changes to the iTunes fileservers and something went wrong. If it happens to you, go to the iTunes support page and do "live chat" and COMPLAIN LOUDLY until you get a refund or a credit, whichever you want. Sometimes they'll credit you right away and other times they'll tell you they can't. That's a lie. They can and MUST give you your choice of a track credit or a refund to your charge card for a bad app download. They've clearly been told to try to drag the conversation out and do everything to avoid refunds, but if you are inisistent they'll eventually give you one.
Be sure to go through the little survey at the end of the chat, it's the only way to get a transcript of the chat emailed to you. You definitely want the chat transcript because these guys will flat-out lie to you and you may need proof of what they said.
This whole mess has really ruined the store for me. It's entirely impulse-driven, and when it's a hassle it just makes me want to go buy from Amazon's MP3 library instead. I've had excellent luck with the iTunes Store, both for music and apps, until the Snow Leopard/iTunes 9 upgrade. Now I have a 10% failure rate for downloads.

Corrupt File (Error 4) Please Please help!!
Hi All
My mac crashed (for the first ever time!) when my portfolio must have been on in the background and all of a sudden it's saying the file is damaged! i've tried the different ways of opening/loading/moving/using a different machine but still no luck!
Is there any way you guys could help me, i can't afford to buy the quark/id2q converter so any help would be extremely appreciated! (i reaally need this asap!)
The file is about 140mb, what kind of support/advice do you guys offer?
Thanks so much, any help is appreciated
ChrisIt's a violation of the license agreement for anyone to repair the file for you, it it's possible, but for less than the cost of buying two plugins and a Quark license if you don't already have one (you need both Quark and ID and the plugins for both to attempt a recovery), Markzware will atempt to recover the file for you. I believe the fee is about $200 and there is no charge unless they succeed. Fix Your Bad InDesign Files!
