Corrupted Adobe ID

I think my Adobe ID is corrupted. I am a Adobe CC subscriber and have been since august 2014, paid up front. I only have one Adobe ID. All apps work okay on both my machines (MacBook Pro Retina and an iMac) but however hard I try, I can't download anything from creative cloud market. 'Market Assets is a premium function' is all I get. Then it tells me to upgrade to Creative Cloud. How do they think I wound up in the market in the first place?
I can't get support on this issue, probably because the website thinks I'm NOT a CC subscriber though it says so in my profile. Apart from my CC subscription, there's a free trial listed under my account. I had that for a week, prior to purchasing the full version. Last week I managed to get in touch with someone of the Adobe helpdesk (in India). She gave it her best shot, but had to conclude it was beyond her and passed the question on to her superiors (back in the States I guess). They would contact me next day, and that was the last thing I ever heard. By now I'm pretty damn frustrated about how Adobe treats it's customers. I paid good money for this crap. What to do?

The preferences file is corrupt: adobe illustrator cs4

greetings!
every time i start illustrator i encounter a new error.
"the preferences file is corrupt and has been reset to the default settings."
"the corrupt file will be backed up as Adobe illustrator Prefs.err"
this problem manifested after i added some more .ai and .ase files to my swatches directory. i do not believe anything else changed.
not sure how to diagnose the problem. is there a debug mode or something? perhaps an offending file.
an option would be to try remove each added swatch file or folder individually, but this would e a very very time consuming process for me.
i use cs4 on a Macbook pro running Snow Leopard - 10.6.2 and would appreciate your advice.

The problem is that you're not getting rid of the corrupt Illustrator preferences. To do that, go to User/Library/Preferences and drag the entire Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings folder to the trash (or to another drive if you want to keep it for some reason). Illustrator will then create a new Preferences folder the next time it's started. It's unlikely the problem was caused by swatches files, but if the error comes back after deleting prefs, then you'll need to determine which swatch file is causing it.

Corrupted Adobe X Standard installation

I have just bought a Dell Windows 7 computer and have managed to corrupt the Adobe X Standard software that comes free with it. I do not have an installation disk for this software or a backup - stupid I know! I have run the repair installation and cleaning tool and it is now looking for a new license key which I don't have. Can anyone help me on this or is all hope lost??

I too have a dell which has acrobat x std and they failed to send me a licence or installation media. Can you run windows system restore to a time before you repaired your acrobat installation so it is corrupted again but still has its licence number intact. Make a copy of the folder that is in here as this is the files to re install the software. C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Setup Files
Then try installing the update from here on top of the corrupted version.

Corrupted Adobe Files

I am having issues with adobe files being corrupted and not
viewable after we upload them to our vendors server for mail
delivery. We create the files within an Access database and all are
viewable from the host machine. Once the files are uploaded, some
of them get "corrupted" and can not be viewed. The interesting part
of this is that it's very random and it appears that even those
with a new version of adobe reader are having the issue too. Our
vendor claims it is a versioning issue with adobe but we feel
otherwise. Something is happening to the files upon the upload but
we can not identify the issue in order to resolve it. Any
suggestions?

Uninstall corrupt Adobe reader 9

When I open "all programs" in my Win XP I see Adobe reader 9 listed. However, when I click on it I get an error message that the path is not valid. I would like to uninstall and reinstall the reader or else another reader that will open pdf files for me. When I attempt to uninstall it I also get a similar error message regarding an unvalid path. Can some one help me find a utility some place that would clean my system and install a working pdf reader for me? I dont use it often but when I need it I would like to have a viable reader. Thank you.

P.S. My laptop has Win XP and Adobe reader 8. It works just fine. I have no idea how I acquired Adobe reader 9. on the desktop. If I knew how it got there I would make sure it doesnt happen again.

Use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove the corrupted Reader, then install afresh.

Corrupted Adobe PDFL9.9 MUI DMG

Just finished took a trial download Adobe Creative Suite CS5 (Design Premium) and now cant get passed error 6 (PS,BR,MP) Succeed but (AI,ID,FL) doesnt get install. I track down the problems and it seems that from the logs it tell me that installer cant find pdfl 9.9 or somethin like that. I try to mount dmg manualy on those files (adobe pdfl9.9) and yup mac dmg says invalid corrupted dmg...
Since i took this download from my **** internet connection more than 20 hours, could you please post just Adobe pdfl9.9 dmg mui so i can continue installing the other product. I dont want to buy software that cost €2700 for nothing..

Cofl if you Mac does not meet the system requirements listed at System requirements | Lightroom then that would prevent installation. It should not affect mounting the DMG successfully.
If you are running Mac OS 10.9 then it is likely you have a Mac with a 64-bit processor. If you have worked around this requirement for your OS to allow Mac OS 10.9 to be installed then behavior in general may be unexpected.
If you can mount the DMG file on another Mac you could try copying the content of the DMG to a USB drive. Have you verified that you problems with no other DMG files?
As for your last suggestion. If you are facing difficulties with multiple DMG files in multiple User accounts then it may be a good idea to back up your documents and settings and reinstall the operating system. This is after you have confirmed that the DMG files themselves are not corrupted.

Is a removal program available to clean a corrupted Adobe Reader v9 out of my computer?

I can't get rid of it to do a fresh installation of Adobe Reader v9. It somehow became corrupted when I disabled some Raid 1 and Raid 0 drives on my computer to free up some processing power. I began having problems with Reader v9 and it won't let me do a fresh installation of the program.

Installing from a corrupt adobe photoshop cs4 extended

I was gifted cs4 extended and when trying to install it says the database is corrupt. Called Adobe but they do not support this anymore and suggested I go to this forum. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? artzy

R_Kelly, I have been working on this problem and tried to find the caps db by searching and nothing appeared. I found caps dll and renamed it to xcaps.dll in both Premiere Ele. and Photshop Elements. Still the problem appeared. I have now uninstalled both programs as Photoshop cs4 is not installed at all. Restarted the computer and tried to install again, same problem. I then ran the cleaner that was suggested also did a disk cleanup. Nothing seems to be helping.

Corrupt Adobe File

I hope someone can help me with this problem. I editted a couple
of .pdf using Adobe Acrobat
9 and when I save the document and reopened it, the document was corrupted. The lettering was
replaced by various symbols. Is there a fix for this problem

Imovie corrupts adobe flash

Has anyone experienced problems with Adobe Flash Player when running iMovie?
I've downloaded and reinstalled Adobe Flash's latest updates six times now. Each time the installation performs as expected and I can watch videos online and on my hard drive. However, whenever I open iMovie, something happens to Flash and I can't watch any videos at all. Not even in Quicktime. But, if I reinstall Flash (again), everything works fine. That is, until I open up iMovie again, then everything goes to ****.
It's annoying, confusing and frustrating.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
For some strange reason, the Apple website isn't allowing me to update my Product details, so here they are:

Flash Player version: 11.8

Flash files are not compatible with iMovie. You need to convert them first.

Uninstalling corrupted Adobe Reader XI (11.0.01)

Any advise as to succesfully uninstalling Aboce Reader XI? I've tried various ways and no luck. I receive a error message 1635 and cannot delete the program. Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer help.

Corrupted Adobe Application Manager

I think my AAM is missing some files, and it doesn't show up as an application.
Moreover, everytime I run the latest version of AAM and click install, it only updates my current AAM.
It would seem to update fine, but then it doesn't open, and I can't open it anywhere since it doesn't show up as an application on my macbook.
I can't install any adobe products without AAM, what should I do?

ICWC document emailed with no extension or PDF corrupted.

CRM 5.0 SP11.
1. We access a document in the inbox and an attached document exist & agent has visbility to the document in the Document Search (order ack, invoice) saved in CMS as OTF files.
2. Agent can click the hyper link and see the document (Good)
3. Agent can select the document and email, in the ICWC email screen agent can click the attachment and again see the document. (Good)
4. The person receiving the email receives the attachment but their is no extension (.PDF, OTF, etc). By double clicking on the extension windows ask which program to use and adobe 7.0 reader does open the form but the user has to repeat this action for every email received with an attachment.
We wrote an enhancement to add the .PDF to the email and step #3 works fine to the ICWC user But the receiving email recipient gets the PDF file but when opening the email the PDF is corrupt
" Adobe reader could not open .... is not a supported file type or is corrupted, was sent as email attachment and not properly decoded"
I'm posting here but not sure if this is a SAPconnect issue? Hoping someone else has encountered this. Will give points.

Corrupt 7.0.5 cannot uninstall

I've a corrupt Adobe Reader 7.0.5 that cannot be uninstalled because I also do not have the file ADobe Reader 7.0.msi on my system. (I suspect that file was deleted in a previous uninstall.) So updates do not run, attempting to download a PDF simply hangs the browser (IE or Firefox tried).
Also, I cannot install a new version (9.0) because it sees the old one, wants to uninstall it first, and cannot because of the same missing file.
Any way to get that old install file to try to uninstall?
Any suggestions on how to get the old Reader off this computer so that a new one will install?

Duh! Thanks. I did have that tool already but did not think of it. The uninstall went fine, and the new install thinks it is working properly (and I have no evidence contrary to that).

Reinstalling Adobe Premiere Elements 10

My software stopped to work. I need to reinstall it on my Mac. After un-installing the corrupt Adobe Premiere Elements 10 I was trying to install it again from the disks (starting with disc #3) and typing correct serial number installation started but ejected the disk with few prompted messages (Exit Code 7). What can I do to complete this installation? Can you help me? The version 10 was sufficient for the work I am using it for. SOS
