Corrupted blocks does not belong to any object
hi gurus
In the alert.log I can see a lot of ORA-01578 errors says that there is a corruped block at datafile 10 block 8,but I not able to find any objects releated to datafile 10 block 8, how could I solve this problem because it keeps occuring in the alert.log. Thanks for your time!
hi rp0428
I digged into the tracefile no useful information could be found!
BTW I found this:

"Domain Users" group in Active Directory does not belong to any Group Membership in LC
Active Directory user belonging to "Domain Users" group does not belong to any Group Membership in LC, why does it not belong to "Domain Users" group?
Any way to correct this issue, without changing group membership on AD side?
If Active Directory user is member of "Domain Admins" or "Users" then these show same group membership in LC.
Thanks.If you want to use the Domain Users group for the purpose of representing all the users then you can use the "All principals in domain xxx" group which is created by UM.
Coming back to Domain Users group. For determining group membership in AD UM uses "member" attribute of the group object. "Domain Users" group is treated differently by AD. It is the default primary group for all the users and normally members of the primary group are not specified using the member attribute.So when we sync the data from AD "Domain Users" membership does not get completed. -
Local Data Address Does not belong to any of this hosts local interfaces
I cannot get through this exception while running
sessionManager.initSession(
localAddress,
new SourceDescription[] { },
0.05,
0.25);
I get this debug output:
Initalizing session (localAddress)
DataAddress: 10.8.0.6/10.8.0.6
ControlAddress: 10.8.0.6/10.8.0.6
DataPort: 2838
ControlPort: 2839
10.8.0.6 is on my tun0 interface, I also tried with 192.168.1.100 which is on my eth2 interface but always get the message in the subject. The only address I can init session on is loopback address.
I use code that looks at local interfaces and grabs ip address from one of them so I'm sure the assigned address belongs to one of my interfaces.
Anybody knows how I can solve this problem?I solved this one. The problem is JMF seems to use InetAddress.getAllByName() which returns (at least in my case) only single IP address no matter how many addresses I have defined on my interfaces. The problem was solved by placing my IP address that I wanted to use by session manager into /etc/hosts. It must be the first line in /etc/hosts otherwise the other row that matches is used.

Corruption on a block not owned by any object.
Hello,
A few days ago I discovered a corrupted block which was part of an index object. After rebuilding it everything was fine from the application perspective (no errors reported when scanning the index).
So far so good. However, the block is still reported as corrupt by dbverify command and on v_$database_block_corruption view.
So now, the block is still corrupted but does not belong to any object.
I've been looking for a way to solve this but it seems that the only way is the block being overwritten by another object.
Is there any other way of resetting the block or overwriting it "on demand" so I don't have to wait for a TS reorg or a "lucky" new segment allocation ?
I'm using Oracle Database EE 10gr2 10.2.0.3 64bit on RH Linux x86-64
Thanks in advance.Unfortunately you have to overwrite the corrupted block, metalink has a note how to do this :

Do the alternate e-mail address ends with me.com or icloud.com?

I keep getting this message: "That Apple ID is already in use.If this Apple ID was created by you, simply sign in with your Apple ID and password.If it does not belong to you, try again using a different name."
I'm trying to create a new id and e-mail using an e-mail address that is mine and has been mine for over a year - any ideas why this could be happening?Trying where? What sort of email address? The following answer is based on a guess as to what you are talking about.
If you already have an @me.com address, perhaps as a result of having had a MobileMe account, and you are now setting up an iCloud account with an Apple ID you will find you will be asked to create a new @me.com address, and that you can't add your existing one because it is already an Apple ID.
You can do one of two things:
1. Sign out at System Preferences; sign in with your existing @me.com address and enable Mail.
2. Stay signed in with the present ID and add your @me.com address in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars.
If you have further questions, or if your situation is different from what I've assumed, do please post back, but in a suitable forum - this one is specifically about using these Forums. -
How to get rid of an Apple ID that does not belong to me
I purchased a 6 plus. I know and frequently use my apple ID and password as well as my I cloud ID and password. I set up my new phone with no problem but I noticed something strange. I kept getting a pop up with an apple ID prefilled waiting for a password. The apple ID prefilled is a s b c global email address and it does not belong to me or anyone on my accounts. I had six songs waiting for download and the only way to get them to go away is to remove this mysterious ID and change it to my own with my password. The songs instantly disappear and I have nothing to download. I would say no problem but this ID keeps resurfacing along with the 6 songs needing downloading. I have now tried to purchase 3 Tones through ITunes with my apple ID and will download them and am charged for them but they disappear after 1 day and the mysterious ID pops back up. This ID appears to be blocking me from downloading my purchases or being able to retain them once downloaded. How do I completely disassociate this ID with my phone and my ITunes account? I would like to add that it is popping up and doing the same thing to my husbands new iPhone 6 as well.

Hi All,
I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.
Yesterday, while updating a birthday in the iPhone iOS calendar app (default calendar = GMail), I noticed that the new 'List View' in the iOS 7.1 calendar (and only that view) showed an event called 'New Event' - which has a start date of 2014 and an end date of 2001. If I go into that event, it will show me no title and no location - only, as mentioned, funny start and end times. The 'Delete Event' button is completely missing. This 'New Event' does not come up in any other view.
Trying to input a ficticious title with a valid start and end time into that event slot leads to a message from the calendar app saying: "Cannot Save Event - That event does not belong to that event store." I have deleted all calendars and re-add them again via settings, with / without soft and hard reset and tried every possible combination. Yet, the event will not disappear.
The funny thing is that this 'New Event' will still showed up, even when my GMail, work and iCloud calendars were disabled. I have, however, subscribed to a GMail calendar for Australian holidays, and there is a built-in 'Birthday' calendar that pulls the dates from the contacts (I do not use that contact field, though).
Does anyone have a similar issue? Any suggestions how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: This 'New Event' does not seem to sync to any calendar other than on the iPhone - not to Gmail, not to work, not to iCloud.Had same problem. Although the phone looks off it actually isnt. If you actually turn it off and then on again this problem will disappear. I think its a memory overload issue that is solved by clearing the memory by turning it off.

Error message "Tax code V1 does not appear in any G/L account item"
Hi,
I am getting the error message FF753- Tax code V1 does not appear in any G/L account item when I post a subsequent credit via miro.
It does not give the error with invoice or credit memo for the sames GL accounts.
History:
PO created
Goods receipt
Invoice posted and blocked as value greater than PO
Subsequent credit put on to correct the values in price query - error appears
I know if I go to FS02 and make the GL code * tax relevant it will remove the error but we dont want tax to go to this account as its a main inventory GL code.
Can anyone advise why it would appear on the subsequent credit but not on invoices or credits.
Also is there something I can set up to remove this issue apart from making the GL code tax relevant - it must not need it if the other postings work ok.
ThanksDoesnt matter that it works for credits and invoices with blank tax you still need to put * in GL code for subsequent credit etc postings

Error while trying to retrieve the task: EventId(complete) does not belong
Hi Experts,

Each tasks is binded with web dynpro Iviews (means followed all the steps neccesary).
I deploed the DC successfully. now i started the process and got a task in my UWL but on click of the task i got the below error.
Error while trying to retrieve the task: EventId(complete) does not belong to referenced component interface of ComponentUsage(com.sap.tc.bpem.wdui.appcontainer.containercomp.ContainerComp:com.infosys.mdm.LoadRepositoryComp, createOnDemand=false, childComponent=com.infosys.mdm.LoadRepositoryComp)
[EXCEPTION]
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: EventId(complete) does not belong to referenced component interface of ComponentUsage(com.sap.tc.bpem.wdui.appcontainer.containercomp.ContainerComp:com.infosys.mdm.LoadRepositoryComp, createOnDemand=false, childComponent=com.infosys.mdm.LoadRepositoryComp)
I have rechecked the event that i have created in the component controller and Interface controller.
Can you please help me in debunging the error.
thanks
NarendraHi,
sounds like an program error. That is an problem which occurs if one or multiple components try to lock the same galaxy object at the same point in time. Did you configured something special on the given task? e.g deadlines?
My proposal is to open an Customer Message so that we can have a detailed look onto the system. If this is not possible could you please provide the complete trace file and some more details about the modeled task?
Best Regards

I have an applet which calls a JSP to write data object to the db and then the
JSP sends back the updated data object. The writing part is ok but the response
is giving the following error. The data object is in a separate class which implements
Serialized.
Here's the code in the applet calling the JSP and the response from the JSP
URL server = null;
String urlConnectionString = "http://localhost:7001/isLoginValid.jsp";
try
server = new URL(urlConnectionString);
catch(MalformedURLException e)
System.out.println("URL exception: " + e );
// send request
ObjectInputStream response = null;
Object result = null;
try
URLConnection conn = server.openConnection();
conn.setDoOutput(true);
conn.setUseCaches(false);
conn.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", "application/octet-stream");
ObjectOutputStream request = new ObjectOutputStream(new
BufferedOutputStream(conn.getOutputStream()));
request.writeObject((Object)dvo);
request.flush();
request.close();
// get the result input stream
response = new ObjectInputStream(new BufferedInputStream
(conn.getInputStream()));
// read response back from the server
result = response.readObject();
if( result!=null && (result instanceof DataVO))
dvo = (DataVO)result;
String vo = dvo.printDataVO();
System.out.println("*DataVO*\n"+vo);
else
System.out.println("not an instanceof DataVO");
catch(IOException ignored)
System.out.println("Error in DataVO response");
ignored.printStackTrace();
Here's the code in the JSP sending the response back to the applet. The 'dvo'
object is the object which is serialized and has gets and sets for the diff. data
elements. When I print the 'dvo' before writing the object to outputStream it
prints the correct values for the data element.
// send response
response.setStatus(HttpServletResponse.SC_OK);
ObjectOutputStream outputStream = new ObjectOutputStream (new BufferedOutputStream
(response.getOutputStream()));
outputStream.writeObject(dvo);
outputStream.flush();
ERROR is as follows:
Error in DataVO response
java.io.StreamCorruptedException: InputStream does not contain a serialized object
at java/io/ObjectInputStream.readStreamHeader
at java/io/ObjectInputStream.<init>
What am I doing wrong?. Please respond soon. The applet is run on IIS and the
JSP in on weblogic 6.1. I'm not sure if that makes any difference.

Ever since upgrading to Mountain Lion, my AOL messages sometimes, but not always open with a blank page. If I open AOL in Firefox, the messages open fine. This does not happen with any messages by any means, and it is not any type of certain message. In fact, in the same screen I can often open an email from the same sender with email intact. This is weird. Sometimes I close the page and open a new page. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. It is a very annoying thing.
Hi,
When you start Messages fro the first time you are asked for an Apple ID
When this is verified and entered it appears in Messages Menu > Preference > Accounts and is Enabled.
The App should have also picked on on those iChat Accounst you had before.
These should be Enabled if they were when you last used iChat.
Exactly which "Accounts" are logged in can be seen in Message Menu > Accounts and will include the iMessage "Account" and Bonjour.
In the Window menu you will see CMD +0 for the Messages window and CMD+1 for the "Buddies" window which is a combined list at this stage.
Go to the Preferences > General Section and Untick the "Collect all accounts into one list".
This will give you separate iChat type Buddy lists.
You can check if that account/Buddy list is set to Invisible or if in the Preferences > Accounts > Security you have settings that will block some people from seeing you as On line.
You are saying Buddies can see you as On Line which implies they are still sending to your AIM based Names (@Mac.com is a valid AIM Screen Name)
I am not sure from your post if you are trying to iMessage their email IDs thinking they are Apple IDs and that they are using Messages as well.
There is no Buddy list for iMessages side
No-one can tell you are "On Line" until they have your details in the "To" spot in Messages with the correct iMessaged contact info (iPhone Number or Apple ID)
Obviously an Apple ID can be an email or look like one.
In some cases they are also valid AIM Screen Names as well.
In the case or the @mac.com name you may have linked this Apple ID to iMessages as well.

Logical table does not join to any logical table
HI,
I want to implement Business Unit hierarchy for drill down in OBIEE so I’ve created a custom table with the hierarchy information,
I’ve imported that table in the out-of the box physical schema & defined a relationship between the W_ORG_D table & my custom INVENTRY_ORG table as INVENTRY_ORG.BU_ID = W_ORG_D. VIS_PR_BU_ID* but when I try to check in my changes I’m getting the following error.*
Logical table INVENTRY_ORG does not join to any logical table.
Kindly let me know how to resolve this error.One more doubt i have is can we import custom tables in the out of the box OBIEE mappings for SIEBEL..that is the core subject area.
Thanks,Hi user10340125 ,
1) I think you have joined tables in physical layer, but you have not created complex join in logical layer.
Check your consistency and see what warnings you are getting.
2) Yes you can import custom tables in whatever subject area. Once you imported tables in physical layer, then they all are just objects, so you can freely play around with them. Just for best practices, make sure you follow proper naming convention for custom tables and columns..

Logical Dimension tabel does not join to any fact source
I want to create a new “Dimension” table. This will be an Account Geographic dimension. My Business and Physical model are setup as follows:
1. Account Address (WC_ADDR_F) is joined to Account (W_ORG_D) which is joined to multiple Fact tables (Ex: Order Item (W_ORDERITEM_F)
2. When I perform “Global Consistency” check it comes back with no errors or warnings.
I create the Account Geographic dimension as follows:
1. I right click on the subject area and select New Object->Dimension and name it “Account Geographic Dimension”. I do not select or change anything else.
2. I right click on the new dimension and select New Object->Logical Level. I name the level “All” and check the “Grand total level” check box. Nothing else is changed.
3. I right click on the “All” level and select New Object->Child Level. I name the level “Country”, set number of elements to 200.
4. I right click on the “Country” level and select New Object->Child Level. I name the level “State”, set number of elements to 250.
5. I drag the “Country” element from the Logical table (Account Address) to the “Country Level” on the new Dimension (Account Geographic Dimension)
6. I drag the “State” element from the Logical table (Account Address) to the “State Level” on the new Dimension (Account Geographic Dimension)
7. I then select the “Country” level properties and add a new key. For the key I select the “Country” column that I just dragged up there.
8. I then select the “State” level properties and add a new key. For the key I select the “State” column that I just dragged up there.
My goal is that when an Analyst selects the “Country” column in Answers from the “Account Address” area that the user would be able to drill down from “Country” to “State”.
When I perform “Global Consistency” I now get the following warning:
WARNINGS:
BUSINESS MODEL CCCi Analytics:
[39008] Logical dimension table Account Address has a source CCCi_Dim_WC_ADDR_F_AccountAddress that does not join to any fact source.
Why do I now get an error no the Account Address table for not connecting to a Fact table? The error message references the “Account Address” dimension table which I believe is the source to the Account Geographic Dimension. If this is the source table, why did it not get a warning message before I created the new dimension?
Thanks…Here is the solution that I was able to get to work:
1. I did not have to reduce the business model to a star but was able to keep it a snowflake
Final design (which was same as the original) here is the Business Model (snowflake schema)
1. Account Hierarchy (logical) -> Account (logical) -> Order Item Fact
2. Account Address (logical) -> Account (logical) -> Order Item Fact
In this model the logical tables Account Hierarchy and Account Address snowflake off of the Account table which joins to the Fact table. I then:
1. Created an “Account” dimension
2. Created a child “Account Total” level
3. Created two (2) children off of the “Account Total” level: (1) Account Address Country and (2) Account Hierarchy Top Level
a. Key for “Account Address Country” was the Country column from Account Address (logical)
b. Key for “Account Hierarchy Top Level” was the Top Level Account Name from Account Hierarchy (logical)
4. Off of “Account Address Country”:
a. Created a (1) child off of “Account Address Country” called “Account Address State” with the State field from the Account Address (logical) as the key
b. Created a (1) child off of “Account Address State” called “Account Address Detail” with the ROW_WID from the Account Address (logical) as the key
c. Created a (1) child off of “Account Address Detail” with the ROW_WID from the Account (logical) as the key
5. Off o “Account Hierarchy Top Level”:
a. Created a (1) child off of “Account Hierarchy Top Level” called “Account Hierarchy Level 1” with the Top Account ID from Account Hierarchy (logical) as the key
b. Created (1) child off of “Account Hierarchy Level 1” called “Account Hierarchy Detail” with the ROW_WID from “Account Hierarchy” as the key
c. Crated a (1) child off of “Account Hierarchy Detail” with the ROW_WID from the Account (logical) as the key
The global consistency check completed with no errors or warning with this design. It appears that perhaps you need to have all of the logical table keys in the dimension path that trace to the Fact table. One other note, cannot repeat use of other columns in the dimension except for the key of the first logical table.
Please let me know if I missed something.
