Corrupted photos with HP 735 camera

My HP 735 has been repaired and since then I cannot download photos in iPhoto without getting file corruption. Is there an issue with iPhoto 6 with that?
The guy who repaired it tested it many times and there is no problem on his PC to view and download any photo from my camera. He says that it must have something to do with my computer, but I have no idea what it could be.
Any clue?

Some things to try:
DO you have a USB card reader? Take the card from the camera and see does iPhoto recognise it? (ANd it will appear on the desktop too.) It's also a better way to transfer your pics, much less rick of corruption or data loss than directly with your camera.
Now, for some fudgy and imprecise help: there are two protocols that Cameras use for communicating with the Mac Mass Transport and PTP. Your camera is set to one (somewhere in the settings): try the other.

Pink spot in center of screen when taking photos with iphone 3G camera

I've been having a problem with my phone recently. When trying to take pictures using the camera software (or other photo apps) i have a pink spot in the middle of the screen. I've searched and seen other on other sites other cameras have the same issue and has been advised as being a problem with software.
I've restored the iphone to factory and still have the problem. Updated to the latest firmware and done pretty much everything i can think of to resolve the issue. So basically wondering if other people have had this issue and if there's any possible fix for this?

If issuer persist after restore as new iPhone then it indicates a hardware issue and next step would be processing hardware repair through the channels provided to you in your country.

I just order 8 calendars from iPhoto and they came to me fine. Now I need to order two more but when I go thru the process I get a message saying:unable to assemble calendar. There is a probleme with the photo with the file name"(Null)" more........ .

Would someone be able to explain to me the following issue with Iphoto?
I ordered 8 same calendars for my soccer team and received them fine. Although a couple of pictures on it are a little off (out of focus). I need to order two more of the same calendars but when I go thru the process ireceive an error message saying:
"Unable to to assemble calendar" There is a problem with the photo with the file name "(Null)" The full resolution version of this photo either cannot be located or is corrupt. Please replace this photo or delete it from your calendar.
How can I fine this "corrupt" photo? How did it go thru with the first batch of calendars but won't go thru now?

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

IPhoto imports photos with wrong dates even if the dates are fine on the camera

When I import photos with iPhoto, sometimes it imports them with wrong dates, even the dates are fine on the camera. It puts dates such as 2032. Does anyone know how can I fix that. As far as I know there is no way to change dates of the photos.

Try looking through your iPhto menus - two commands - adjust time and date and batch change time and date - asjust is used to correct incorrect dates like a comera setting - Batch change for missing dates like with scans

I have a problem with my 4s camera which has come up recently. Everytime I take a picture and look it up via the 'Photos' app, it shows as blank. But when I click on edit on the blank picture, it comes up and I am able to save it back on my photo album.

There are a few things that are confusing in your question.
As far as I know, you dont have to install Time Machine on this OS as it is already installed for you. You only need to connect a hard drive to your computer via firewire or usb, click on the Time Machine icon, Open Time Machine Preference in the drop down menu and select a disk: your connected hard drive.
You can of course reformat this connected device, partition it into a few volumes to organise data if you so wish.
I find it strange that your mac's hard drive is divided into two volumes... perhaps this was created through bootcamp?
You can access the configuration of your hd through Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilities.
Clicking on one of the icons on the right hand panel will bring the details of the contents of your hardDrive and volumes. From there you can decide to erase a partition, reformat etc....
If your hd contains more than one volume, and one of them is empty, you could decide to remove it. Back up all your important data before doing so.

Problem opening photos with camera raw 7.1 with Photoshop CS6

I am using Windows 7 32 bit system with 4GB ram and graphics accelerator.
I have Photoshop CS5.1 installed in the same system at it works perfectly.
What happens is when I use the B+W function, I get an error message saying that I have not enough ram.
After that, when I open the next photo with Camera Raw, the raw image will not open.
I have already maximised the Ram that Photoshop can use to 1.7GB and there is more than enough space in my scratch disk.
Anyone can tell me what the problem is?

Just to clarify.
I applied B+W layer adjustment on my photos. It is part of an automated set of actions which I apply to all my photos. I adjust the B&W layer to 50% overlay. When I click on the B&W adjustment layer, there is an error message that tells me I have not enough ram. Once that happens, when I open the next photo in raw, I don't see the new photo but only the frame of the camera raw though which I see my photoshop desktop.
It doesn't occur with the first few photos. But by the 3rd or 4th it happens.
I will adjust it to 50% and see what happens.

After restore I did restore from back up only, as I didn't want to end up without contacts details on my phone. If I restore as new device how do I get my all contacts? The error message is misleading, the problem is that you need WRITE privileges added to the destination directory tree.
Assuming you are using the "date" structure that LR defaults to, find the directory that contains the 2014 folder (the one that works) and add WRITE rights to the parent of "2014".
While you are there, if you want, add "2015" folder to beside "2014" and add READ and WRITE rights to that new directory.

Is there a way that I can Delete All under Edit in either Photos or Camera on my iPhone and check about 20 ijmages to remain on the iPhone? I could find no command to Select All and then uncheck the 20 photos I want to keep.

I have Version 6.1.3 because the clogged storage will not allow me to upload Version 7.1. Catch 22. This is basically a storage issue, I believe. I cannot delete enough stuff on my iPhone to allow me to either back up or upload the new OS 7. I am unwilling to pay for more storage in iCloud, so I want to delete stuff I don't need. But I haven't yet figured out how to successfully do that. I synch my phone and computer. I want to delete mail on the Mail app and photos and still keep my photos on my computer on iPhoto, but not on my phone. I seem unable to do that. Any advice?

Photos in icloud with no apple camera?

I bought an IPad and a Mac Book Air almost at the same time a couple of months ago. I am new to Apple and I was quite happy about both of them, except for the features regarding photo sync and transfer, especially TO the IPad.
I thought that the comming of IOS5 will solve all that problems, but no. The only thing that IOS5 has brought me is sync without a cable... not such a rocket science nowadays anyway.
But regarding photo sharing amongst devices though icloud or some othe feature, I got nothing. It is supposed to sync your iphone photos with all your apple enabled devices... but WHAT If YOUR PICTURES DO NOT COME FROM APPLE DEVICES?
I HAVE non Apple cameras, pictures comming from emails from friends, photo sharing websites, etc
How do I put those photos comming from not Apple devices to sync though icloud or some other apple feature?
I have activated photo stream in all my devices and also on a Windows Itunes but it doesn't seem to sync.
The ideal for me would be to mark a photo source on one or several windows or mac folders, so that pictures I copy there are transferred to icloud and downloaded to the iphoto app on the ipad directly.

A Wifi connection is all the hardware I should ever need to keep my idevices & itunes in sync, specially with ICloud around.

How are you backing up the photos? The best way is to backup the library itself as that will preserve your organizational efforts as well as all metadata like keywords, titles, faces, places, books, etc.
You can use a backup application that does incremental backups. Thus only the first backup is a full one and subsequent backups just copy those files that are new or changed. I use Synk Pro. The lower cost version, Synk, will do the same job. Other similar apps can be found at MacUpdate.com.
OR: upload your camera to a folder on the Desktop. There you can rename the files to something that is more informative than just the file name. I use the date (international format) along with a brief desc: 2007-1-20-adian1stbday-001.jpg. File renaming apps can also be found at MacUpdate.com. Also you can give the folder an informatve name which will become the Event name when you import the folder of photos into iPhoto.

Aside from upgrading to pse 13, you can use the 8.7.1 adobe dng converter to convert the files to dng copies, which pse 11 should then open.
