Corrupts Files When I Try To Edit

I'm using a logitech c920 camera to record videos. I bought Adobe so I could simply watermark/title and cut out various things I did not want. I downloaded the program (from Amazon) and I then took a (perfectly fine video file) into it to edit. The file has off color, it speeds up then slows down, then the audio does not match the video.
I tried multiple files from my logitech cam and it all reacted similar or the same.
I tried a Canon Camcorder video file and that was fine.
But I mostly record with my logitech...I'm very frustrated and feel I wasted my money if I can not use this program to edit my files. The reason I obviously bought it. I'm hoping someone has a solution. I don't want to have to use my canon to record all the time as I can't get the same affects as with my logitech in range and movement.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
Can we assume that you purchased Premiere Elements 13 and are running it on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit?
What are the properties of the Logitech C920 video? From what I have read, you should be recording 1080p30 video with H.264 video compression.
What is the file extension - .mp4 or other? Keys factors to rule in or out
a. Premiere Elements often does not fare well with video recorded with a variable frame rate instead of a constant one. Do you know if your recordings are with variable or constant frame rate?
b. Before you open the webcam, do you manually set the Premiere Elements 13 project preset to match the properties of your source which I am presuming are 1080p30 (1920 x 1080 @ 30 progressive frames per second)...for that video, the project preset should be
NTSC
DSLR
1080p
DSLR 1080p30
c. After the project preset is set and you use Add Media/Webcam or WDM to turn on the webcam, is the image in the Premiere Elements Capture Windows distorted in anyway? When does the image become distorted - only when it hits the Timeline without any edits or effects applied? Are you saying yes to any pop up dialogs during this period? Go to Applied EffectsTab/Applied Effects Palette/. Do you see only the Motion and Opacity Panels there? If you see more panels than that, what are they? Next go to Adjust Tab/Adjustments Palette/ and determine if there is a green dot on any of the panels there.
d. When you have your capture on the Timeline and are playing it back in the Edit area monitor, is there an orange line over that Timeline content?
Please review and consider. And, then let us see what we can put together for troubleshooting strategy.
I have a built in SD camera with my Windows 8.1 64 bit. I have no problems using it with Premiere Elements 13 (Add Media/Webcam or WDM) installed on that computer.

DW8 grabs remote file when I try to edit local file

DW8 acts like it was programmed this way, but it is not
correct behavior. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this for
me.
I have the local website on a mapped network drive to a
different server, and the remote (live) site is on another server
only accessible via FTP. When I have the Files View drop-down set
to Local View and the [Connects to remote host] button is NOT
depressed, I should be able to double-click an .htm file and have
it open up for editing. So, I do that and it then asks if I want to

file opens, for some reason it has grabbed the REMOTE version from
the live server (via FTP, I assume) without telling me it is doing
that, and it has overwritten the local copy of the file. This is
bad because other people in the office use different web editors,

want to "get dependent files"...the word GET is suspicious to

CI/CO uses the remote site as the resource for files, not the
local site.
The scheme is -
1. You check out from the remote site
2. You edit and save intermediate steps locally
3. When editing is finished, you check in to the remote site
This way, nobody can GET a file that you have already checked
out until you
check it back in.
When you double click a local file in the File manager, if
that file is NOT
checked out to you, it will be checked out to you FROM THE
REMOTE site. If
it is checked out to you, it will open from your local site.

My iMessage freezes when I try to edit a text before sending.

Since downloading iOS7 on my iPhone 4, when I try to edit a text before sending, it freezes for about 10 senconds. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know how to resolve it?

This just started happening to me as well on my 4S, and it does not happen in any other app or text-editable area. As sgurtin mentioned, I believe a complete restore would be the only way (I have also tried everything except a complete restore). I guess that also answers my question, which was whether or not a restore would actually fix any underlying iMessage files which may be corrupt, or if it simply ignores them for the sake of speed.
I'm trying a restore now and will update if all goes well and this fixes the issue.

You can go to Applications, Utilities, Activiy Monitor to see just how much space is available. To free space you need to remove files that take a lot of space, things like videos, photos, music. Get an external hard drive, OWC http://www.macsales.com has a good selection, and move material off the internal drive.

Help please - Contacts freezes when I try to edit distribution lists

When I try to edit the addresses distribution list for a group, Contacts freezes with a spinning beachball. I've tried exporting the group as a CSV file, trashing the entire Address Book folder in Library > Application Support, launching Contacts and importing the CSV file, but this hasn't helped.
Editing distribution lists in Address Book / Contacts has been problematic since at least Lion. Seems like Contacts development was foisted off on a handful of green interns a long time ago.
Can anyone suggest an iCloud- & iPhone-compatible third-party contacts manager with some back-end muscle? Cobook is a nice front-end, but it doesn't solve my problem.

Well, I found that it doesn't actually freeze - it just takes 20 minutes or so to respond. This with a database of about 3,700 contacts. It also takes 5 minutes or so to accept the renaming of a smart group.
Who in **** built this thing? And, why are they spending more time on simulating fake leather and taking away and then restoring 3-panel view than on making this a halfway decent database?
Sadly, the only contacts app I can find that seems to have a robust back end is made by - Microsoft. Sad.

If you purchased the Perpetual Licensed version of Lightroom and received a 24 numeric serial number you will have to download the correct version from the link below.
Before doing the new installation you will have to uninstall the existing version from your computer (it is the Creative Cloud version) since it is requesting you to "renew your membership" . This process will not interfere with your Catalog file, Preferences or your personal files, it will just remove the existing application. Both versions are the same application just a different download and activation process.
Reboot your system then run the install of the Perpetual License download and input the serial number to activate. Things should be fine.

For some reason DW8 hangs - the egg timer just keeps going
and after a while it says program is not responding - when I try to
edit my index file. I can open any other file without a problem.
I've not edited this outside DW and I can't think of anything else
that might have changed. I'm running Windows XP

First make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

You likely need to change the default application(s) assigned for opening files to point to the new ones. HOw you do that depends on which operating system you have. If you search Google you should be able to find out how to change the default programs for different files.

I have all my music cd's on a hard drive as wav files when I try to add them to I tunes the files get there but no album info I end up with a bunch of track 1's by unknown artists. Is there a way to transfer each album over so it shows up like a normal CD
