Cost center effect to budget posting- urgent-please help

What is the effect in create new cost center to actual /budget posting in SAP?
Please somebody clear me about this issue

1. In Transaction code KPZ2
With reference to Controlling area and cost centre or cost centre group the perid wise budget can be define for each cost centre ( By select of periodic overview screen)
Note : The availability check is not available with this cost centre budget ( i.e. if the actual amount exceeds than budgeted amount it allowes to do the further transaction.)
Report S_ALR_87013648 -
Range:Actual/Budget/Commitments
will give the information of budget and actual amount.
2. Also in trasaction code KP06 it is possible to define cost centre and cost element plan amount without availability check.
Report S_ALR_87013611 - Cost Centers: Actual/Plan/Variance with give the information of Plan vs actual and variance

You can reverse the transaction in FB08. Then post afresh in FI using F-02 with proper GL/CC. OR If you would like to do the adjustment only in Co then you can repost using T code KB11N.

Work order to cost center settlement does not post to GL module (FI)

Dear Expert,
I find the Maintenance Work order to cost center settlement does not post to GL module (FI)?Also, the settlement cost element is primary element define in GL chart of account.
When an maintenance order is settled with KO88 or KO8G the work order value posted cost center and the value is display in cost center report but not post to GL module in FI.As I notice only good issue or receive to/from work order is posted in GL but not the settlement of work order.Why?
Between, Kindly advise what are the report or T-code to view the maintenance order is done the settlement and what are the value is settle for maintenance work order?
Kindly advice under what circumstance when maintenance work order to cost center settlement is posted to GL(FI module)?

Hi Kiran,
The error message clearly says that "Cost Center validity starts from 01.10.2014" i.e. in the future period.
Change the cost center from period in the past date and try.

Cost Center Locking for Direct Posting

Hi all,
I am getting an error reading something like this:
"cost center is locked for primary posting.".
Can any tell me how do I address issue? Is changing the cost center in the control tab of change cost center node in img guide the only way? If i do that, do I need to explicity activate it? And most importantly, which of the 6 check boxes prevents(if at all) from being directly posted.

Hi Vivek,
Execute Transaction code KS02, input the affected cost centre to change the master data. Click on the "Control" tab and uncheck the box "Actual primary costs". Save your changes. With this amendment, you would no longer have the error message during posting.
Normally, if the check box is checked, this is what would happened.
Lock Indicator for Actual Primary Postings
Indicator defining whether a cost center is locked for posting with direct costs.
If the indicator is checked/active, no primary costs can be posted to the cost center. You may, however, still use the cost center for evaluations such as summarization, etc.

Cost center receiving the real posting even WBS Element are present

Dear All
As per standard SAP documentation, when both cost center and WBS elements are present in the same accounting document, WBS element will take real posting and cost center will take statistical posting.
But in the MIRO document cost center took the real posting even the WBS element is present in the line item of the accounting document.

If the WBS element is not statistical, then the real posting should be to the WBS element. However, if you see, when the WBS element becomes a statistical,(when the check mark is added in the control tab) the field cost center becomes active and needs to be input.
In your case since you are deriving the cost center through a substitution rule. Normally if you rules of priority during a document posting, the substitution and validation rules takes a higher priority. So apparently the cost center will get the real posting!! Since the real posting is already made to the cost center, the entry to the WBS element would become a statistical one...
Thats the reason why the situation changes when you deactivate the substitution rule. I am not sure about the entry in the WBS element...My guess is that you would not be able to settle the costs in the WBS Elements.

Encrypting and Decrypting Data(Its Very Urgent, Please Help.)

Can anyone tell me some idea in the below mentioned details.
Iam creating a Function for Encrypting and Decrypting Data Values using
DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT with UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_RAW by using
Key Value as normal.
But the problem, is it possible to have the key value more than 8.
Its showing me error when i give the key value less than 8 or more than 8.
Can u tell me why it happens, is that the limit of the key value or is any other way to do that.

Usage Notes
If the input data or key given to the DES3DECRYPT procedure is empty, then the procedure raises the error ORA-28231 "Invalid input to Obfuscation toolkit."
If the input data given to the DES3DECRYPT procedure is not a multiple of 8 bytes, the procedure raises the error ORA-28232 "Invalid input size for Obfuscation toolkit." ORA-28233 is NOT applicable for the DES3DECRYPT function.
If the key length is missing or is less than 8 bytes, then the procedure raises the error ORA-28234 "Key length too short." Note that if larger keys are used, extra bytes are ignored. So a 9-byte key will not generate an exception.

We have acustom application in OAF which was developed in 11i. Now we migrated the same to R12.
In this there are two date fileds getting dispayed on the page and the query for the same is
SELECT TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'dd-mm-yyyy') AS CURRENT_DATE, UPPER (TO_CHAR (SYSDATE - 10, 'mon-yy')) AS g_period, UPPER (TO_CHAR (SYSDATE + 5, 'mon-yy')) AS gnext_period, TO_CHAR (sysdate,'dd-mon-yyyy') as today_date, TO_CHAR (sysdate - 1,'dd-mon-yyyy') as yesterday_date FROM DUAL
In 11i version the output is dispaying correctly but in R12 the current date is dispayed as
Start Date 04-Nov-5242
End Date 04-Nov-5241
As per logic it should be
Start Date 09-Feb-2012
End Date 10-Feb-2012

1. Once u restart , the oracle services and the database is not mounting automatically.That is because, when you install the Oracle Oracle8i Standard Edition Release (8.1.7), the two key services namely

For the database to start automatically the next time you start your machine, these two services will have to be put into "Automatic Start" mode.
< for this double click on the respective service, select the "Automatic" radio button and click on ok>.
Now when you restart the machine, your database will be automatically mounted.
2. this as explained above is a corollory to the above problem. you can start or stop your database on NT using the "Services" window....

I have installed Oracle Oracle8i Standard Edition Release (8.1.7) from technet site.
I have installed it on windows NT 4.0 .
Installation is fine.
I can access or get into SQL prompt .
I have created a database also.
1st problem
My problem is once I restart the Machine and try to access SQL plus .it gives me an error
ORA-01034: Oracle not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist.
2nd problem
I dont know how to start and stop the database , as there is nothing to do that in the start menu of Oracle .
How do i do this .
This is very urgent please help.

Is your form running inside the browser window (with SeparateFrame=False)? If the browser is maximized, and your form is maximized, yet you cannot see the entire screen, you can run with SeparateFrame=True. You can do that on the browser line.

Cost Center Error Message in Posting a Billing Document to Accounting

Hi Experts,
I am in process of testing my form enhancement for Billing Documents especially Debit Note and Credit Notes. However, when I post my Billing Documents in VF02, this status message appears:
"Field Cost Ctr is a required field for G/L account 2100 855020".
Now I already checked the configuration in FS00, VKOA and we want the cost center field filled-up in the process but automatically. Do I missed some of my configuration to maintain also the Cost Center? What transaction code should I check and maintain the Cost Center for this scenario.

I m working on cost center accounting ,and i m stuck in transaction based posting ,i m post transaction through FB50,
i m given concern G/L account Dr 8000 and credit to bank account with account assignment cost center 10100.after i simulate this transaction the system accepts and i m enable to see the transacion after simulation,but after that i m going for save it at this time system geting error ,and error is like ---

Diagnosis
In the condominium owner company code, the system attempts to determine a unique condominium owner for each document.
To make this determination, the system analyzes:
The profit centers in the document. Usually the system derives the profit centers from the account assignment objects in the individual line items. In the condominium owner company code, the system determines the profit center for real estate objects from the condominium management contract for the rental object.
The house bank data in the document. Therefore, the affected bank account has to be entered uniquely in each bank line item. You can enter the house bank and the account ID in FI posting transactions by choosing Additional Data. The system then searches for the condominium management contract that has these bank details.
In the current case, the system is not able to determine a unique owner.
System Response
The system cannot post the document.
Procedure
Check the account assignment data and bank details.

First off all thank you both for your answers.

When I said enhancing I was not thinking of developing the hole thing. That seems to be a hugely complex task and I do not have the time for that in the project were I am presently working. What I meant was: Is there a SAP Enhancement available? A function exit? A Customer Include? Something that is half way done?
If this is not the case the solutions I thougth were:
i) Replicate my infocube's data into a ODS. Develop a report on the R/3 side that reads that data via a RFC and uses Batch Input (Call transaction) to update the data on the R/3 side;
ii) Develop a function module (similar to the standard one) on the BW side to use in a planning function of type exit which would update a Z database table on the R/3 side and, afterwards, develop a report (also on the R/3 side) which would read that database table and update transactional tables via Batch Input (or Call Transaction with a developed log transaction).
From the point of view of performance I believe the solution involving the ODS is better because we are talking about 300 000 materials.
As for your proposed solutions 1) and 2) althougth they seem very nice and elegant I would like to avoid changing the R/3 customizing. Regarding your proposed solution 3) I am going to take a look at the function group you mentioned and the respective note.
