Cost Centre Report - Report Painter

Dears
I am trying to create a Cost Centre report to show the Cost element posting period wise in vertical columns.
I am not able to get the required output. I am not sure whether I am mistaken anywhere.
General Data selection : Controlling area, Cost Centre
In the GL Code : Cost element
Period 14-Jan : Version, Actual Cost, Fiscal year, Period from (001), period to (001)
Period 14-Feb : Version, ACtual Cost, Fiscal year, period from (002) , period to (002)
etc. etc.
still I am not able to execute the report.
Please advise whether I am doing right ?

Your form should look like as below ( Please ignore Plan cloumn )
General data selection
NOw as left and side you see I have debit and credit as lead column .
Now click double click on lead column .for debitand define as per below screen shot
After this double click on next line and define credit elements I have included A creditas well coz we have settlements as well.
NOw you need to define the Actual Periods as per my First screenshot
I have Plan periods as well Please ignore them . YOu can just define 12 Actual mnths only as below
NOw you  this exercide for 12 time for each periods . Just change Period filed like  from2 to 2 , from3 to 3 etc.....

  • Statistical Cost Centre problem

    Hello All,
    I have created project in PS (WBS structure). In WBS Basic data tab, I am assigning a Cost Centre.( This Cost Centre will be statistical, as the posting will be done against WBS.
    However when i am doing posting againts WBS thru FB50, the actual cost gets posted against WBS. But it is not appearing as Statistical cost against the cost centre in report S_ALR_87013611. However when I maintain a Cost Centre during posting in FB50 along with WBS, the cost appears as statistical cost. Is it a standard behaviour ? or is it possible by some settings to see the statistical postings against CC, even if i am not mentioning it in FB50 and just maintaning it in basic data of WBS?

    Hello,
    The way it works is opposite of how you want to use. In the WBS element control tab, you can mark a WBS element as statistical, which means that the WBS element is statistical and choose to post the actual costs to a cost center, which you can enter in the master data. When you post FB50 the WBS will be statistical and cost center will be real.
    If you do not mark WBS as statistical then the cost center field in the control tab has no meaning. For a non-statistical WBS when you use in FB50 the actual costs go to WBS and the statistical costs go to cost center, if you enter it.

  • Posting to a cost centre from a sales order

    Hi all.  We are currently in the process of replacing a third party system which deals with publicity mailing and taking the process onto our SAP system.
    At the moment a report is run on the third party system at month end which details the months costs (freight and handling) which is then uploaded into SAP by JV in order to make the postings to the correct cost centres.
    However, the current method of raising orders via email will be replaced with raising sales orders on SAP.  The sales order will obviously allow postings to a profit centre via the material, but how do I then get the costs into a cost centre for reporting and budgetary control?
    I originally thought of using OKB9, however the relationship is not a simple one profit centre to one cost centre, and the costs have to be split across multiple costs centres.
    Any ideas would be extremely welcome.

    There are a couple of options depending on how the data comes in and how you want to disburse it. You could use a substitution rule and you could also do CO allocations as well. This is because you have one profit center and many cost centers. One to one is a an easy flow match.

  • Report Painter - Use SKF to calc act/plan unit costs in CCtr report

    Hi Report Painter Gurus,
    I am an end user working with our Report Painter consultant and I have asked for a Cost Centre report with columns for Actual Costs, Actual Unit costs, Plan costs, Plan Unit costs for Month and Cumulative. I have seen this report in my previous business so I know it can be done but consultant says it's impossible.
    The report I previously used had the SKF values at the bottom of the cost centre report and then the unit costs columns (both actual and plan) referenced these SKF cells in the formula which divided Cost by SKF.
    We have created the SKF using KK01 and posted dummy amounts in KB31N but consultant says he cannot reference the SKF values in the formlas.
    If you can spell it out to me (I have dabbled in Report Painter myself), then I am sure I can explain it to consultant.

    I think it is quiet simple. When you add a column to the report painter report you can choose from the drop down menu for 'Basic Key figure' whether it is Costs, Activity quantity, Statistical quantities, etc.
    So if you have a column with Costs (X1) and one more column with quantities (X2), you can easily come up with another 'formula' column and use the equation (X1/X2).
    I think this should serve your purpose.

  • Limit SC showing Zero value in report SC per cost centre in SRM portal

    Hi SRM Gurus,
    On executing SC per cost centre report avaialble in SRM 5.0 Portal I am getting value of limit SC as zero. while in all other follow on documents i.e. PO and Invoice its displaying the value.
    Is it due to the fact the for Limit Items we don't have any GR/confirmation i.e zero quantity? and the value column field has Sigma symbol on it. so maybe it is multiplying quantity with the value here?
    Is this SAP SRM standard for limit items to show zero value in this report ?

  • Add cost centre name field or description in line item reports

    Dear all,
    How can the cost centre name or description be added in a report's lines (i.e. FBL1N). These fields (columns) are not included in the reports and need to add them. I have tried through special fields to include them but the table CSKSZ and fields KTEXT (Cost Centre name) and LTEXT (Cost centre description) are not included.

    You must use business transaction event 1650 for adding special field to FBL*N reports.

    I see only three possible explanations:
    a) no data on this cost centre
    b) authorizations
    c) 'hard-coded' filter in the relevant report (only if it's user-developed report)

    Hi,
    You can use this one S_ALR_87013602 for totals, but, of course, it does not split between cost objects. For line items, you can build simple SQVI based on COEP table.

  • Cost centre report with all GL expense accounts

    Hi Gurus;
    Can you please give a cost centre report that gives all GL expense accounts with the correponding Cost centres or functional areas ni the next column?
    Example:
    Column A                        B                C                          D
    GL 12005                Cc 52001        Amount 100          function area 1000
    That is without expanding the report gives you in total amount per requested period in the format shown.
    The report should tally with Trial balance for all expense accounts.

    Did you check the available reports in cost center accounting ?
    Also check the report layout and check the desired fields.
    Now you could see whether they match or not your requirement.
    If not also, you could add fields from the options.
    If nothing works, create a Z Report.

  • Report distribution by cost centre

    We would like to know if there are any threads or links that explain how to circulate a cost centre report that only contains values according to the recipients home cost centre. 
    That is, person A receives his / her respective cost centre data;  person B receives the same report, but with only their cost centre data etc... automated circulation according to a common schedule.
    We need this solution to email the reports (probably in PDF format) to each user automatically, according to a pre-determined schedule.

  • Cost Centre Report by monthly

    Hello SAP Gurus,
    We have developed a Zreport for Cost Centre report in monthly, for this i have used Table COEP , CSKS, SETLEAF. The report is working fine. It is not working for particular Cost Centre Group or Cost Element Groups, for this the values are taken from SETLEAF but other groups values are avialable in SETLEAF.thats why its working fine with some CCG or CEG
    we developed Zreport based on the user requirement with above tables, so some values are missing with compare KSB1.
    So please let me know how to find out CCG or CEG groups? in which tables?

    Here we are facing one more issue in same report. total is not matching, compare with KSB1.
    Values are more in Zreport, in other words activity type cost elements are not reflecting in Zreport, but it reflecting in KSB1.
    example: flow from PM module.
    Actually we had used logic  based on the Cost Centres, in that cost centre by taking Object number and it passes to COEP table, then we are getting values as same as KSB1.
    As per investigation i found that the object number is differ from COEP table and CSKS table.
    Exapmple : 1410000 object number in CSKS table, 1410000EL in COEP table, thats why in Zreport these values are not reflecting.Finally our requirment is , Zreport values should same as KSB1 vlaues.
    So please give me inputs or logic how to over come this issue.

  • KKBC_ORD report - filtering by Cost Centre

    Hi,
    I was trying to filter KKBC_ORD report for Confirmation Transactions to show only a specified cost centre.
    I set up a filter on cost centre column, but when I specify cost centre and confirm this filtering, it shows no data even though this cost centre is used and can be found in KKBC_ORD report when filter is not set.
    Have you had a similar issue? Is it some kind of program bug? Maybe there is an SAP note to fix that?

    Unfortunately KKBC_ORD is being used by our Production Line Coordinators to verify data order by order and they are only interested in confirmations executed on specific cost centres. This is why we need to focus on KKBC_ORD.
    Do you know whether this filtering problem is a program error or is it done on a purpose and has some good explanation?
    For me it seems an error and I thought there would be a fix for it as filtering is a standard functionality.

    I dont know what do you mean by Proc costs...
    if you mean Account assigned purchases - Then use MB51 and after you get the output, change the layout and include Cost center in the layout
    Else, you can also see the Costs by GL in FBL3N or S_ALR_87013611
