With Skype your location is irrelevant. The cost of calling the USA from anywhere in the world [including from within the USA] is 2.3 cents per minute. The cost is the same to call landlines or cellphones and from any device.

What is the cost of calling a local number when I am in a foreign country? Is it just the same roaming charge I would pay to call a US number from that country? That's what a Verizon representative told me but it doesn't sound right.

However, because I modified the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast and nothing changed, I redirected it to another feed and then I deleted this feed.
Is there any way to change the feed in itunes? The only feed I have now is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CasaEgyptStation
I tried to restore the feed http://feeds.feedburner.com/imananddinasbroadcast but feedburner refused.
I know that I missed things up but I still have hope in working things out.

If the phone you are trying to call has a UK number, that would be considered a call to the UK - even if that phone is currently in the USA. You would need to get Skype Credit or a subscription covering calls to that UK number (sounds like it is a mobile number, so look for subscriptions covering calls to UK landlines and mobiles). The location of the device is not relevant to Skype, but the location of the number you are calling is very relevant.
With the Unlimited USA & Canada subscription, you can call numbers in those two countries where you are dialing +1 followed by the area code and number. If the country code is not +1, you're dialing another country - and that is not covered by the subscription you mentioned.

Abandoned calls within SLA in WebView

It is a UCCE system version 7.0
We have the below issue :
The agent report (By Agent : Agent 05) includes Abandoned calls .
Can someone please verify if this inlcudes the abandoned calls within the Service level Agreement. How can we view the abandoned calls for an agent excluding the Abandoned calls within SLA ??

Abandoned calls. The idea is that if someone calls your call center by mistake and hears the greeting and drops within (default) 5 seconds, you don't want to count that as an abandoned call. It makes the agents look bad and really doesn't add any value.
That being said, some customers ask that this be set to zero. They want to track every call and count those short abandoned calls. Crazy stuff.
The problem with short calls in ICM is it is a single global setting. It's set in System Information and is ICM-wise.
I wish it could be applied on a call type, like the other settings. I have some international CVP deployments where the contact centers in each country have some autonomy and some want short calls, and others don't.
I'd like to see Cisco expand this.

My client uses foreign trade to export materials from US to outside countries.
I've done all necessary configurations by going through the SAP documentation on Foreign Trade.   It works perfect with key combination of Sales Organization + Bill-to party (where Bill-to party's country is outside USA.
But it does NOT work when we create a condition table with key combination of Sales Organization + Ship-to Party (where ship-to party country is USA).
Material Master (Export Foreign Trade) has already been setup with appropriate commodity codes.
We send customs invoice (boarder broker document) to Freight Forwarding agent (Ship-to Party) whose address is within USA.   And they then take responsibility to export the material to outside USA.
Problem-1: During Delivery creation, the system automatically copies the FT information from MM when the Ship-to Party's country code is outside USA. But NOT for Ship-to Party's country code within USA.
Problem-2: Customs condition table on key combination Sales Organization + Ship-to does NOT work during creation of billing document (VF01 or VF04).   We need this custom so the custom invoice to print automatically using the custom output type.
Need your help.   Please respond ASAP. Points will be rewarded.

trying to direct calls within the oracle application server to the IIS using reverse proxy. I am having problems...
What is trying to be achieved is a call to the 3rd party web server (IIS with Oracle SSO plug-in) that will be invoked from the OAS.

Subsequent EJB server-calls within one Thread?

will all subsequent EJB calls within the server be executed within the same Thread? I didn't find an exact spec of this.
The context is that i have remote and local stateless session beans and i want to share the timestamp at which the initial service call took place. So i thought about setting a ThreadLocal variable by an Interceptor and read this in every bean.
Maybe there is a better way to do this?

I'm not sure why you make each car a Thread when you later come along to create ActionThreads to do the work. It seems to me as if there is at least one Thread too many.
Nonetheless, this peace of code is most likely not a good implementation of what you are trying to do:

You are working with several concurrent Threads acting upon the same Cars, the master Thread, the Cars themselves and the ActionThreads. So you will need some synchronization to ensure consistency. You are using none! If you were, a call to sleep() would block the monitor of your Car instance.
You are using the while loop to implement busy waiting. A bad choice by itself, it might lock your VM totally if this Thread gets a high priority for some reason. What you actually want to use is a wait()-notify-pair jointly with proper synchronization.

Cost of calls in Europe

Thinking of moving to BT Mobile but would expect to use frequently from Europe.
If I make a call using BT Mobile from France (Zone 3) back to a UK landline, according to the pricing information, this will cost £1.40 / minute.
Is that really correct?

You don't explicitly state this but I'm assuming you mean you will be calling back to the UK of within Zone 3 (most of Europe) so I think you're applying the wrong zoning table to the charges. According to the tariff guide here the International Roaming Zones (page 36) apply. This puts France in Zone 1a and you will be charged 18.8p/minute.
The International Zones (page 34) apply to when you are calling out of the UK on your BT Mobile to another country when the charges on Page 33 (top right) apply.

Hi, I have and iPhone 4s running ios 8.0.2. I live in the middle east and would like to make and receive phone calls to people living in USA and Canada from my iphone. I have a Google account with an American number registered in it, but unfortunately it seems that I can only send messages and voice mail with my google voice account to USA and Canada because I live in the Middle East. I asked a similar question on another website and one person said that I could get what I want by using a VoIP/PBX account from pxbes.com and use this account with an application called "Acrobits softphone" from the App Store. Also he said that that I can use google chat to get my calls into the PBX account but he didn't say how and i don't know how. Does anyone know how this thing works or any other way to make and receive calls with America and Canada by using my google voice account. I don't care if it costs money as long as people can get in touch with me by using my American phone number.

I have exactly the same concern. It seems it would be a simple fix for Apple to allow users to turn off the camera (and even the mic) while keeping FaceTime open -- especially now that it turns out FaceTime must remain open in order to send and receive iPhone calls on a Mac.
I like to think this new functionality of FaceTime will be baked into a future release of Yosemite, as the current setup has that not-quite-finished feel of a work in progress. In the meantime, there's nothing like a little piece of Post-It stuck over the camera to keep the NSA from watching your face as you type a post to the Apple Support Communities.

How do I show the output of a command called within a gui script

I'm starting from scratch on a project I've been tasked with. My intention is a quick down-and-dirty way to apply an image within winPE to apply a windows image to the machine I've booted to a usb drive loaded with winPE.

Now, this does work, and it will in fact apply the windows image to c:\ which is what I need it to do. But, I have a few quesitons.
Am I correct to use "Invoke-Expression" in the function do_DISM to start the command? According to technet's articles, yes, but, want to make sure I'm doing this the proper way, since I'm learning that calling Invoke-Expression isn't always
the way to do things.
Also, since this will be used by others in my group, I'm going to need to show some sort of progress report on how far along DISM is getting along, otherwise, 5 minutes into DISM running, some people are going to think nothing's happening, and just power
down the computer no matter what I tell them. I know that running DISM from the command line, it will show a progress bar that is adequate for what I'm needing. Running the script above and clicking the button, it does run, but, all in the background
with no progress indication. Is there a way I can tell either in the function or when the function calls Invoke-Expression to run DISM, to open in a new command window which shows the live progress of the command running?
Again, my disclaimer: VERY new to writing bits of code, and am trying my best here, so, thanks in advance for patience with me.

Function module called within a loop seems to carry over global data

Hello all,
I am calling FM "RS_COVERPAGE_SELECTIONS" inside of a loop of all variants for a program and then writing the variant values to spool. If only one variant is entered on the selection screen, all the values are correct. If nothing is entered, some of the variant values are carried over from a previous variant. I am emptying the internal table returned by the FM every time before the FM executes.
Would some one be willing to run the following code for a program with many screen fields and many variants and tell me if they get the same behavior?

Try using the function module PRINT_SELECTIONS, within this FM, the FM RS_COVERPAGE_SELECTIONS is being called. So it will not copy the previous values.
Pass Mode as 'A' , report name and variant name, then it will display the same output.

The cost of calling 0844 numbers

I thought that I could ring 0844 for free in my unlimited package periuod.
This is not true.
On ringing BT customer services a man in the Phillipines told me that the cost of ringing any 0844 number is a 15p connection charge and then 2.04p per minute.
This is not true
The cost can be at a whole load of different rates depending on the rest of the 0844 number. I am told that these rates may be 1p 3p 5p 7p etc but I am not sure about this.
Can anyone please help me (and BT) to understand these rates better?

The information on the cost of 0844 numbers is available, but BT really don't make it easy to find out how much a call will cost.
My method is this:
