generally warrenty has to be given in the form of credit memo,it has its own document type and has been created with reference to invoice only,wirte a user exit for that document type(credit memo) in that mention that this particular document taking as reference(invoice document) has invoiced at what date, if the invoice date is more than 6 months dont do credit memo if it is less than 6 months do credit memo
How to solve this USEREXIT

HI,
You can tackle this with normal sales scenario. Develop resturn sales document. Do copy control setting for the same.
Now, develop new PP for the return document.In that PP for the basic price develop routine with the help of abaper. The logic should be that it should compare billing date with your return sales order creation date or system date. If the diff.is more than six months then baisc price should be zero.
For invoice print manintain all setting and records in NACE.

Hi,
To replace defective goods a return process with a free of charge SO and delivery must be in place.
Process:
1. Create a returns sales order w.r.t the billing document of the defective goods
2. Create a returns delivery and do the PGR
3. Create a Sales Order (new order type or OR can be used) with the replacement qty, please note that the pricing here should be zero.
4. Do the delivery for this order and PGI.
5. Please note that billing is not required as we giving the goods free of charge.
In order to do the above process all the configurations should be in place. The returns SO item category should not be relevant for billing, similarly the subsequent SO item category should not be relevant for billing.

First, you have to create a "Return order (RE)"in t.code VA01, specify an "Order reason" and save it.
Return order can be created either with reference to the Sales order or Billing document.
It can also be created without any reference also.
If you want to replace with fresh goods, then create an order "Subsequent Delivery free-of-chrge (SDF) with reference to the "Return order (RE)", just created.
SDF contains a Delivery block. Remove the block in VA02 and create a Delivery from this SDF, but Billing is not relevant for it (check billing relevance field in Item category KLN/KLX).
Remember, SDF is always created with reference to the Return order(RE) .
SDF can be created before the Return Delivery as well as after the Return Delivery is created.

Mac and Mac models are picky about the RAM the Mac needs to see and use.
As you have found out, the 1067 speed RAM will not work in your year and model iMac.
You need the 1333 speed RAM.
If, you can return the RAM for a refund, do it!
If not, try online Mac RAM source and seller Crucial memory. They have a table that matches your Mac to the correct and reliable RAM. You may need to contact them to see whether or not they ship to South Africa, though.
If Crucial dpesn't work out, here's the specs for your year and model iMac that you need to seek out and purchase.

A third-party repair shop will be cheaper/quicker. However, going that route voids all warranty/support. But, if you don't have any warranty left, might be a good option. Do your homework...find a shop that knows what they're doing.

Recently my MacBook Pro has been making a loud grinding noise and I think this means that the fan needs replacing. How much would it cost to replace the fan, at the apple store (in British Pounds). Are you charged for labour on top, and if so, how much? How much is apple care, would it be cheaper to fix it this way?

I had two fans replaced in 2012 on my 2006 MacBook Pro were around £10 each with labor at £20. I don't know that these prices are still viable, but it may give you an estimate.

I ran over my MBPR with a car by accident (long story) and it still works perfectly fine, but there is a good amount of dings/screen glitches/minor battery issues.
Assuming that my AppleCare is still active, how much does it cost to replace the whole machine? Although they are mostly aesthetic issues, is it still worth it?

AppleCare does not cover any accidental damage. You homeowners'/renters' insurance may. Contact them immediately.

Ordered item to absorb the cost of the free goods

We have created an exclusive free goods agreement and we would like the ordered item to absorb the cost of the free goods. In order to transfer the correct information to CO-PA from SD billing, what should we do? Can anybody explain briefly?

we do the setting for this in copy controls from delivery to billing.
pl go to t.code VTFL, select the item which is required to abasorb the cost.
there you will find a check box " cummulate cost ". Tick it here, this will make the cost of the free item to be transferred to the main item. This can also be used even incase of BOM's.

I've got myself a Macbook Pro 13" (Mid-2009) that has got a fair few scratches in one corner and some noticeable dents on the lid. The top and bottom casing are all new after getting it repaired under AppleCare.
I was wondering how much the lid would cost to replace (so my whole casing is in tip-top condition) and whether that includes the LCD as well. I know its going to be expensive and have already explored ifixit.com and other vendors for fixing it on the Internet and I'm not fond of just buying a case like a hardshell just to cover it up.
So if anyone has had it done by Apple or knows roughly how much it would cost to replace then that would be great!

I have tried what you said,but it seam not in use.The VPRS in the delivery is 10, MAP in material is 12, after PGR the price in the accounting document is also 12, But I want the price in the accounting document is 10.

Cost of replacing a broken or stolen iPhone?

I'm planning to buy the iPhone when it comes out on O2 in the UK, but I'm a little unclear about whether the cost of the iPhone itself is subsidised or just a standard purchase.
In the UK it's common to get a phone free or cheap when taking out a contract. If the phone gets damaged or stolen, then the cost of buying a replacement (if it's not insured) is substantially more than the original price.
Does anyone know what the situation is with the iPhone - anyone using AT&T had such an incident? Can you go out and buy another iPhone and carry on using it with your existing contract, or do you have to pay a higher price for a replacement.
Along a similar line, if Apple were to bring out a better version of the iPhone in future, would existing customers have to wait for their contracts to end before getting the upgrade, or could they simply buy the new phone and continue with their existing iPhone tarriff?

I would presume that the cost of replacement is just the normal cost of the phone - but there is no information to confirm this - that is why I'm a little unclear.
The reason for wanting to know is so I can decide on whether it's worth considering insurance, cases etc. If it's simply a case of buying another iPhone then fair enough - if it turns out that you cannot buy another iPhone without signing up to an additional contract (and so paying two lots of £35 per month) or paying vastly more than the initial purchase price for a replacement, then I would be far more concerned about protecting my iPhone.
Really it's a balance between cost of insurance vs risking it, and the bulkiness and inconvenience of using a case vs increased risk of damage.

Cost of replacing hard drive on my powerbook G4

I bought my powerbook about 2 years ago and to be honest, have loved it a lot. Today after a coffee break, I sat to work on my PB and it was very slow...then began a host of problems which have ended with it not starting up. I have done disk utility tests which found a problem with my hard drive that it couldn't repair. I am also unable to reinstall OS. A hardware test revealed that there is an error with my hard drive. My important documents have been backed up so am not too upset about that but I don't want to spend heaps of cash getting it repaired. For those Aussies out there, would anybody know the approximate cost of replacing the hard drive? Would it be cheaper to buy the HDD myself and try to replace it myself. I could get the IT guys from where I work to replace it. And yes, my PB is out of warranty! Also, should I aim to replace this HDD with the same one thats now busted, or should I replace it with a better one. Apart from increased space, what other benefits would an upgraded HDD give me (I have a 60 GB hard drive, 1.33 GHz).

My sentiments are very similar to Matt's, though my hard drive experiences have tended to be with either Seagate or Hitachi products. Generally I would also agree that another Toshiba drive is to be avoided.
For cache, it is always better to go for more - minimum of 8MB. As a very broad indication of what to purchase, something along the lines of 8MB, 5400RPM, 80-120GB.
Also be aware that not all drives are the same, even if their general specifications are the same. For example, Hitachi produce different versions of their 7200 RPM 100GB Travelstar - not only in Ultra ATA and Serial ATA versions, but also a version designed for extended power-on usage. Drives from different manufacturers may also have varying technologies built into them. Something else to consider is the length of warranty. Some manufacturers offer longer terms than others.

Cost of Replacing Logic Board at Apple Store

At the current moment, my 13" macbook pro no longer recognizes the wifi hardware. Running OSX 10.10, I thought this was the root of the problem. Support helped and solved the issue but it quit the minute I hung up the phone. It is possible that I will need to replace the logic board in order to get everything working again (although I may just buy a wifi adapter) and was wondering what the cost of replacing a macbook pro 8.1 logic board is, just so I don't have a heart attack in the store. Logic boards typically run $500 and up...take the the MBP to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs run their diagnostics to determine the exact issue. They can then quote an accurate price if physical repair is needed.
