Cost of subscription to convert PDFs to other file formats

I have an infrequent use for this feature, so I'd like to find the cost before I subscribe.  I've been unable to find out via internet searches but no luck.  Does anyone know, or know how to contact Adobe to find out?

If you're asking about Adobe's CreatePDF service that also allows conversion of PDF to Word and Excel formats, see: https://www.acrobat.com/createpdf/en/home.html

  • Upgrade Reader XI with annual subscription to convert PDFs

I just bought the annual subscription to convert PDFs.
There is a box that appears on my right toolbox that grants me unlimited conversions.
I logged out and logged back in and the box is still there.
The listings on the box are:
    PAID ACCOUNT
    12 months of unlimited conversions
    PDF to Word Format
    PDF to Excel Format
    Sign up Now
When I click on the sign up now, it just routes me back to the initial select to purchase your option.
And the convert to screen remains whited out.
    Thanks.

What is your subscription for: Adobe PDF Pack?
Why do you click on 'Sign up Now' when you have already purchased the subscription?

  • Unable to convert PDF files to any other file format using Acrobat XI Pro

    Acrobat XI Pro ver11.0.2
    Office 2013 Pro Plus
    Windows 8 Pro
When I open a PDF file and try to export file to: Word, RTF, Excel, XML or PowerPoint, I woud receive the error below.
Save As failed to process this document. No file was created.
I recall in the past that I was able to export PDF to Excel & Word.  I simply tried the other file formats to see what happens.
Unfortunately for me, this is happening to both of my machines.  Same version software except the other machine is Windows 7 Pro. I have admin level rights to both PCs.
Not sure what to do at this point.
As another test, I did the following.
Created a document in Word, then saved as a PDF file.  Opened that PDF file to save as a Word doc and I received the error listed above.
    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thank you

    Thank you for the suggestions
"Created a document in Word, then saved as a PDF file.  Opened that PDF file to save as a Word doc and I received the error listed above".
I used another machine.  Created a Virtual Machine with Office 2013 and Acobat XI and I do not have issues with converting PDF to any of the available formats.  Its not the file I'm using, its the software itself that is the issue.
Unfortunately, I did uninstall Office 2013 & Acrobat XI then reinstalled but I still have the problem so I can only guess once its broken in the registry, I will continue to have an issue.
For now, I'm going to move Acrobat XI on the VM since I dont have time to reinstall Windows 8.

why can I not convert pdf into word file?

This is not a feature of Adobe Reader. You'll need either Acrobat or a subscription to one of the web-based services that Adobe offers (like PDF Pack) to do it.

  • What would be the best Adobe Product option for me if I only need it to be able to convert PDF documents to Excel Format?

Hello, I'm hoping to pick everyone's brain about which Adobe Acrobat Product / License I would need if the only Function I require is the ability to convert PDF documents to Excel format. This would not include Scanned documents.

Only you can decide what is a "best fit".
PDF content export to Excel can be performed by Acrobat XI or either of Adobe's online subscription services "ExportPDF" or "PDF Pack".
    Be well...

  • Convert PDF Page to Image format

Is there any way to convert PDF page to Image formats (like JPG, GIF...)?
I am looking in iTextSharp. If there are other options also, please let me know.

There is a sample included with the Acrobat SDK that shows how to perform conversions of PDFs to other formats. There are also other options available to plug-ins such as PDPageDrawContentsToMemory() and then using an image library of your choice to save the bitmap data into various image formats.
    > I am looking in iTextSharp
This is the Acrobat SDK forum - for questions regarding coding using the Acrobat SDK. Have you considered asking this in an iTextSharp forum if you are limiting yourself to that product?

  • Hyperlink adds "-1" to uploaded pdf (or other) file.  Way around this?

When I insert a pdf (or other) file onto an iWeb page which creates an image of itself, then select it and set it to hyperlink to the pdf file, when I publish it to .Mac it appends a "-1" to the end of the file name before the ".pdf". Is there any way to have the file name be the same name as the original without this appended "-1" being added as it is uploaded to the iDisk storage for my iWeb site?

I think it goes like this. You drop in the .pdf, let's say it's leopardsecrets.pdf. iWeb places it as an image that will be rendered when you publish the site. iWeb also takes the file and places it inside the Domain.sites file/folder. Next, you want to create an link to the downloadable leopardsecrets.pdf. When you create a file link, you're telling iWeb you want to include that file when you publish so that people can download it from your site. iWeb goes to place this file in your Domain.sites folder and sees that it's already there! Since it won't overwrite the first one you included (and won't complain), it renames the second one leopardsecrets-1.pdf. This is generally how OSX handles file naming conflicts when the conflict may not be viewable by the user.
For example, control-click the apple in the menu above and choose "Save Image to '<your download folder>' " Then, repeat that step. When you go to your download folder, you will see two files, 1.gif and 1-1.gif.
One way to solve the problem would be to name the first file ls.pdf and leave leopardsecrets.pdf as the name of your downloadable file, but as James said, if these are large files, then you're essentially uploading two copies of it.
Here's a workaround you can try. Open the pdf in Preview, choose File -> Print, and select to only print Page 1. Don't print it. Instead, you'll click Preview and you should see just your page one. Now you can Save As... and save it as a pdf (with the short name as suggested) or even as a .jpg or .png. Since this is full size and iWeb is going to re-render it as a .png anyway when you resize, just save as .pdf, use IT as the link graphic, and that might just be what you're looking for.

  • Printer not selectable from drop down when printing any pdf file. Printer is available when printing any other file format.

Client is running Adobe Acrobat X. When trying to print their Ricoh printer can not be seen in the drop down menu. The Printer was added locally and the printer can print any other file format.

Your ps file should be good, the problem likely resides elswehere. Maybe in your acrobat install, distillers settings. what error did distiller give?
Mine ran good and got a multi page document, here is a screenshot to help you troubleshoot.
On mac go to system preferences / print and fax / and change your default printer if you have another option. I know sounds like this should not help, but there are problems like Illustrator for example not making .pdfs if you do not have a printer chosen or an old or corrupt .ppd assigned.

  • Problems emailing any other file format other than a .jpg

I am having problems emailing any other file format other than a .jpg in mac Mail in Leopard. Is anyone else having this problem?
I have tried PDF, .tif and .doc documents, and they are small files, less than 150 kb. I have checked to ownership on the images and it says that I can read and write to them. I have also checked with my ISP and my mailbox capacity is 10 MB and was recently emptied. I am able to log into my ISP's webmail portal and send these types of attachments through there successfully, which has made me convinced that it has to do with Leopard or Mac Mail because I did not have these problems in Tiger.
When I send a message like this, Mail says, "Sending" for a while, and then says "Cannot send message using server:(Name of my server) Sending the message content to the server failed. Select a different outgoing mail server."

I've been sending .doc files with/without also .jpg as attachments without problems so it is possibly not a Leopard problem. I know this doesn't solve your problem though. Someone else may be able to solve the problem.

how to convert amount from flat file format to user specific format.

move that value to a type WRBTR variable

    data v_char(20).
    v_wrbtr = 1000.
