Costing problem while running Process order

Hi,
This is a problem relating to costing of HALB material.. While doing process order for a fert material (BOM of FERT material contains a HALB and two ROH materials) a window occurs while saving ' Error when calculating costs, see log'. Why is this happening? I have checked the BOM , all components are subjected to cost relevancy (X). For HALB material no values are manually maintained in planned price 1,2,3 fields in Costing 2 view of material master. Do we have to manually maintain or will it be taken from the ROH materials in HALB BOM. For ROH materials values are comin in planned price 1,2,3 fields in Costing 2 view . If this has to be done what is the configuration. The ultimate issue is while running process order for FERT material no costing is happening for HALB material.Pls share your suggestions. Hi,
when you have raw semifinish and finish material as in sequence then first order of semifinish has to be created and it will capture raw material cost and other expences if incurred after confirmation of semifinish material you will be able to create a finish material production order b' cause that semi- finish material yo have to consume for finsh order.
if at all first sfg order has updated the price of sfg (after settlement of order) then it will take correct price for finish material
reward points if you find it useful.

Hi when i am trying to release the process order in COR1, I am getting the below error *The business transaction
cannot be carried out*
System status CSER is active (ORD 00000000001)
    Message no. BS013
Diagnosis
    Object ORD 00000000001 has system status CSER (Error in cost
    calculation). According to this status, transaction 'Release' is not
    allowed.
Procedure
    You can only carry out the requested function if this is allowed
    according to the status of the object.

Error while running Process Order API to import orders - URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hi all,
I'm stuck with order import using OE_ORDER_PUB.PROCESS_ORDER api. Wanted to import a simple order in Vision database using the process order api. Figured out the right data to use, inserted into Headers and Lines Iface All tables. When calling the OE_ORDER_PUB.PROCESS_ORDER api, it is throwing this error:
"Header ID does not exist on this record or does not match ID specified on header record. You require a valid header ID if the operation is Create."
But when I validate the same record using the CORRECTIONS form in Order Import GUI, the order is successfully validated. Also the order is imported when I click the IMPORT button.
I understand that HEADER_ID column is not required for creating a new order, but not sure why it is erroring. Here is the data I'm using:

I might be late in replying, but hope it might help.
From your query it seems you are inserting records into interface tables and then calling process order API( probably from some PL/SQL block).
This is where I am confused, because I hope you understand, that interface tables are for use with Order Import concurrent Program, and for Process ORder API, you need to provide the data as parameter. The api has, header record type and line table type as parameters. So you need to assign correct data to these variables and pass them as parameter when you are calling Process Order API.
If you are doing the same thing, then post the exact pl/SQL code and error message from the API. That might help diagnose the issue.

Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (give BIrequest name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.
You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the cube.

Total Target Costs not updated in Process Order

Hi All,
I have a scenario in a Process Order,
The Process order is Released, Goods Issued and GR done. But the when i go and check the Cost Analysis i did not see anything in the Total Target Costs and Total Target Qty coloumns agianst all the cost elements. It show as zero for all.
It looks very strange. There is variance in the component issues and GR as well. I simulated for the same material with a new Process order and found the vales get populated automatically on GI and GR's with variation against requirement quantity.
Could any one explain me why it is so ..? or is my understanding is wrong.....?

I think you are missing PP CO integration configuration during master data creation. There might be information massage to you during process order creation saying , 'Logs during Cost calculation", you are skipping the same and creating process order withought resolving the same.
Check whether you followed all the steps for product costing.
Material master,
BOM,
OPKP:-Controlling area-activate components and Controll indicators
:- Assignment of co codes
KS01: Cost center
KA01/KA06:- Primary/ Secondary Cost elements
KL01:-Activity Types
KP26:- Activity Price Planning
Then Work center/Resource- assign these cost center and activities with costing formulas.
Then Routing/Recepi-
After master data, demand management,MRP- process order. while creating process order check cost calculation errors.

Problem while Creating Service order through Work Order

Hi Gurus,
I have a problem While creating Service order (me21n) through - Work order it contains service requisitions.
So that means they carry information such as G/L and work order number while entering the requistion no in PO Creation Screen (me21n) which automatically should be picked from the work order refference.
But problem here is the service items and all other are assigned to PO except the Account Assingnment tab which is GL Account and Work Order No and Cost center..
Can anyone explain me this?

Hi Murgesh,
If GL code is not getting bydefault from the system it is needed to be provided by the user.
If normally one GL is there or other than master data services if single GL is there u can set that in SPRO.
it is avalible in deafult settings in order node
If you are creating the order with refrence to PR then it will take account assignement as "F" system will pick up all the details from PM module. This is the integration of MM & PM module.
But if your PO is not w.r.t. PM orders PR then needs to be given manully.

As I understood you want to expire the timer in a specific time.
you can call SET-TIMER with NO_REPEAT Indicates that the timer should not repeat upon expiration, but is to be used once only, until explicitly called again.

This type of error
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/naming/Context
will occur when the client program could not able to locate lib/j2EE.jar file.
So set the classpath correctly and make sure that you have correctly defined the JAVA_HOME environment variable in .bat script.

Not able to see the Cost analysis in the Process order (T-Code COR2).

Csoting in the Process order Configuration.
I have done the Config setting related to the Product Costing Controlling with regard to the
Cost Sheet, Cost Componet Structure.Overheads, asssigning the Cost elements in the Costing sheet.
assigned the same in the Process order.
And also the Costing variant options seen in OPL1 t-code can not be displayed in the Process order Csoting Variant selection.
where as the in the Costing variant for the cost component structure, i can see the Xompany code with required plant details.

If you are looking at cost analysis. You will get this only some you do confirmations to the production or process Order.
I hope you did confirmation of material and quantities to the Process Order

Problem on creating process order

Dear Team,
I have a problem on creating process order thru COR1 where the basic start date only accept and follows current date. Basic finished date, no problem. Previously, i can set the basic start date using previous date / date in the past (in the same current month). I'm using "Only capacity requirements" for scheduling type.
is there anywhere in the SAP config that i can check?
and why this problem occured?

Problem with creating Process order confirmation using BAPI

Hello,
While creating Process Order confirmation using BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT, material document is getting created. But a line item is inserted in the table AFRU without material document number. When it is created manually using the transaction COR6, the table is getting updated with material doc in the line item. Can anyone let me know what other attributes to be passed in order the update the same?

The error message LP 099 'Stor. location in PUB X is not the same as prod.stor. location Y' is issued when the system finds inconsistancy in your customizing of the couple storage location - Production supply area for your components in your process order.
The logic of the storage location determination is the following ...
The issuing storage location is determined in three steps:
1. First, the issue storage location of the material to be issued   (MARC-LGPRO) is transferred to the material master from the MRP    data if it is filled.
2. The system overwrites this value with the issue storage location from the bill of material (RC29P-LGORT, STPO-LGORT) if it is     filled.
3. If the operation to which the component is assigned in production order contains a work center with supply area, the storage    location is transferred from this supply area (PVBE-LGORT).     However, this transfer is only carried out if storage location data (MARD) is maintained for this storage location for the    material.
The logic of the supply area determination:
Priority of supply area determination for WM staging is as follows :
1. Supply Area of Work Center               (highest priority)   If no supply area defined look to
2. Supply Area in item of Bill of material (second priority)   If no supply area defined look to
3. Material Master View MRP2                (third priority)         If no supply area defined -> Error message LP 099
