Could a Color LaserJet Printer use / print to Photo Paper?

Hello HP Support, Well as you notice I have quite a few questions, since store representative say yes to everything and barely even know the answer. My Question here is I have alot i mean alot close to 1,000 sheets of HP Photo paper from a few year and decade back wasa good sale and just came across them recently hidden back in my HP Demo Day i presented. ** Anyways would like to know if i can use this HP Photo paper in my m276nw? Also do HP Color LaserJet printer normally handle and work with HP Media products so, if i buy another printer in which I'm searching around for another AIO would hope to do everything. I have Premium, Matte, Glossy & Glossy Brochure Photo paper - HP Makes many types of Photo paper could i use these? Since it does not state Laser or Inkjet on the box. HP says that the drivers for your all in one print/scanner are downloadable from apple. For the scanner to use preview. image capture or the scan icon from the print driver queue. I don't know how old your HP is, but I know that the newer Os from apple don't support a lot of older printers. You might be able find a third party driver that could work.

HP Color Laserjet 1600 cannot print in color with Pages 09

Hi, everybody!
I got a huge problem for me that the HP Color Laserjet 1600 cannot print in color with Pages 09 after I upgrade to 10.6.1. It worked very well in 10.5.8. Since there is no official driver from HP website for 1600, so I used foomatic/foo2hp as the driver.
It is very strange that I can print in color with Safari and Preview in 10.6.1, but cannot with Pages 09. When I print with Pages 09, it always shows that the print job was completed but my printer was nothing happened.
I just re-install the 10.6 OS "complete new", install the printer driver with the instructions on this forum.
It would be high appreciated if somebody can help me on it!

Why doesn't MAC just give us the driver for the HP Color Laserjet 1600? It's one of the most popular home based business laserjets. It's the one I use and a lot of other people in business use it so I'm at a loss as to why they don't.
I bought my MAC Pro tower for video editing and I can't print from it and have had to reinstall the OS on it once already because Safari wouldn't open a window. So much for the MAc advertising statement of "We're so much easier to use."
After spending close to $10,000 on MAC equipment, Tower, Laptop, Monitor, etc. if they think I'm going to spend more for a new printer just because I can't get a driver to print they're thinking wrong. I going to re-think my new cell phone purchase too. Has anyone had software issuses with their phones before I go out and buy one?

HP Color laserJet CM1015 MFP printing problem

Till now my HP Color laserJet CM1015 MFP printer was working perfectly and suddenly prints miss aligned colors. Each color prints a little bit below another. I uninstalled printer’s software and reinstalled again but it didn’t help. There is no error messages. Printer’s alignment didn’t help either. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Yes I solved the problem. I had to clean the registry of all information regarding this printer. During the installation I noticed interesting thing. The only installation that worked well was from the CD that came with the printer. I've tried downloaded latest version but it didn't install properly and have no idea why.

Your HP Color Laserjet CM1015 MFP is a commercial product. I will suggest posting and looking in the forum for HP Business Support for a better chance at finding a prompt solution.

Black Prints as Blue on Photo Paper

I have a Photosmart 6510 and am using Mac Snow Leopard. Black prints fine on plain paper but prints a blue on photo paper. This is a new problem. It was working fine before. Any suggestions?

Grayscale Printing with HP Color Laserjet 2600n Using OS 10.6

Like a lot of people, I've been frustrated with the (lack of) support and functionality with this printer since upgrading to Snow Leopard. But at least it's working.
I have two questions:
1. Even with the printer set to Grayscale, all of my pages come out in color. Does anyone have a solution to this?
2. Has anyone found a good alternative printer to the 2600n that works well with Snow Leopard?

My Color LaserJet will not print in color

Hi, I have a HP Color LaserJet CP1518ni
It has been working perfectly fine with my computer until now.
I am using a Windows Vista 32-bit
I just tried to print something on here, but it automatically prints in black and white.
I tried looking in the preferences, but I can't find any options to switch it back to color.
I tried it with another computer in the house, and it worked fine there, so it just seems to be this computer.

Color LaserJet 4730 customizing print trays

I have an HP Color LaserJet 4730mfp. I have everything, including faxes (they print automatically), being printed at that printer. I would like to ensure that the priority for normal print jobs is Tray 2, 3, then 4. I would like to use Tray 1 (on the side) as the manual feed to envelopes and other special print jobs. Is there a way to do this without making users have to figure out which tray to use?
I have run into the problem where a user who is printing envelopes gets their print interrupted by a fax. It unnecessarily uses an envelope and loses most of the information on the fax.

This is a known problem and will most likely have to wait for an update from Apple.

Color LaserJet 2600n Erratic Printing

I've had the printer for a while. It's been fine until now. Then it stopped printing or printed only very faintly. I turned it off, then on again, and it printed very well. BUT, it will only print one job. Then it has to be turned off/on again. The online chat was not very helpful. Because I print in grayscale with override on, the tech at first thought the problem was that the color toner cartridges were completely empty and so nothing would print. So I replaced the cartridges, which had indeed been in for a long time, although I never had problems printing even with the "replace supplies" message on. . .but that did not solve the problem. The only thing the tech said was there was an "issue with the internal hardware" of the printer. She/he could not or would not explain further. I was referred to a local repairer, who told me that HP doesn't support this printer and that it was best to throw it away. Does anyone know what's wrong with it and is the repair person right? I hate to discard it, especially since now I have to eat about $200 worth of toner cartridges which are virtually unused but of course not returnable because they're installed. . .thanks for any help/info/advice. My HP Color Laserjet CP1215 only prints when sending a command from a distant computer (shared pr.)

My HP Color Laserjet CP1215 won't print when I send a print command from the computer to which the printer is connected to. The printer is shared. When my colleague sends a print command from another computer, the printer does his job.

I am currently in the same boat. I love how you posted this legitimate issue 3 years ago and there is still no resolution. It really reflects on the company's character and attitude toward their customers.
Hopefully this will get a response.

HP Color LaserJet 2600n quit printing on an XP machine

Even though my HP Color LaserJet 2600n shows "ready" on my XP control panel screen for printers, it just quit communicating with my XP system. I have it connected via an Apple Time Machine and found it easy to connect to the printer from any computer in the house (desktops, laptop, netbook, Apple). It worked fine for a long time but now I can't get my XP system to connect to the 2600n. Anyone have a suggestion on what I should do to regain the ability to print to this printer from my XP desktop? Thanks in advance.
PS - Although I know this sounds wrong, I didn't install any new software or make any other changes to my system. It was printing fine yesterday and today - nothing! I've rebooted the PC and the printer. There are no error messages on the printer - it simply says "Ready". What am I missing?

HP Color LaserJet 3500n - Slow Printing in Snow Leopard

I've installed all of the HP Printer Updates for Snow Leopard (even manually downloaded the latest entire HP Printer Update), Reset the Printing System and reinstalled all of my printers, but I still continue to have an issues where it takes over 4 minutes for the first page of a print job to print... This is a network printer with an external HP JetDirect (Model #J7942A) box and the slow printing occurs with all Snow Leopard machines. Firmware for both the Printer and the JetDirect box are at the latest versions...
I did notice that Apple's kb article indicates that the latest print driver for this printer is 1.0.2, but my driver indicates 1.0.1... Is the kb article incorrect? Any ideas why I'm not getting the 1.0.2 driver? Suggestions?

I've got the same problem with a Color Laserjet 3550 + JetDirect en3700.
For security reasons, I disabled SNMP v1/v2 on JetDirect. Everythings works fine on Leopard.
I got this problem after upgrading to Snow Leopard (ver. 10.6.2 with HP printer driver 1.0.1).
Looking at network traffic with Wireshark, I've noticed some timeout on SNMP v2 packet directed to the printer.
I've enabled SNMP v1+v2 on JetDirect and now everithings works fine, but security problems related to unsecure SNMP version are now open.
I've upgraded HP printer driver, but I can't find driver version 1.0.2, as mentioned in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3669#HP.
Any suggestion?
