Could I use a power support screen protector to cover the back of my iPhone

I bought the ZAGG Invisible shield thinking it was the full body but realized it was only the front. Can I use a power support screen protector to cover the back of my iPhone 3G?

From my research, the ONLY way to get the back cover of the Zagg shield is to buy the complete package (front and back). The ONLY place I've seen this offered in online at zagg.com.
I'm only using the front Zagg shield and for the back, I'm using the Richardsolo.com Contour Flip. I've tried several other combinations and for my money, this is the way to go.

  • IPod Touch Power Support Screen Protector: Anti-Glare or Crystal?

    Which do you recommend?

I had anti-glare protectors on my Palms for years-- and they worked like a charm. I thought that's what I was going to install on my IPT 2G, but I saw a video showing the difference...
I ordered the Air Support Power Jacket that comes with 1 of each... in real-life (not just YouTube World), the two differ greatly. Now, they might not be that different on the device itself, but I went with Crystal. The IPT screen is so bright and crisp that I didn't want to do anything to interfere with it.
I regularly use hand cream and smudge glasses greatly... but I've had no problem with the Clear protector-- with the IPT on I don't notice any smudges, prints, etc. Sure, they're there when it's off, but it's an easy wipe.
Now, be careful on the installation of the protector. They do use an adhesive!! I was really surprised by that as many people claim they rely on static cling. Plus, it's all too easy to end up with dust/air bubble (I have 1 that, if I think about it, will drive me up the wall). I strongly recommend watching a YouTube video on how to install these things. That helped me, although the best tip is to center the protector well on the Home button, holding it down, and then rotating it so that it lines up evenly on both sides.
Good luck with it! I don't think you can go wrong with either choice!

  • Incipio or Power Support Screen Protector?

    Greetings.
I recently purchased the Incipio DermaShot Silicone Case. I got it for the case itself, but noticed that the package also includes a screen protector. *Do any of you have experience with the Incipio brand screen protector?* I've already heard great things about the Power Supply protector and had thought I might get one of those. But I'm wondering if it's worth ordering/paying extra for the Power Supply version, or if I should just stick with the one that came with the case I already have.
I'm hoping to avoid having to go through several screen protectors and more money before finding a really good one.
I have an iPad on the way and would like to be prepared to install it as soon as it arrives.
    Thanks for any input.

Has no one tried Incipio's screen protector for the iPad?
    Thanks in advance.
My new Toy -- er, I mean, business and communications device -- arrives tomorrow! Finally!

  • How do you put PDA screen protectors to cover your ipod nan?

Like how do i apply the pda protector? I havnt gotten the ipod nano yet im just thinking of how i could apply the screen protector.
Is the film sticky? what keeps it on?
if anyone could give me step by step instructions thatll be great.
    Thanks:)

It is a static connection ... all that you need to do is cut the film to the size of the nano and then very carefully place it on the nano. The instructions for the protectors work with then nano. There should be enough space on a single protector for both sides of the nano, but be careful to avoid the area on the protector where there is any printing.
You must be careful applying the protectors to avoid getting bubbles in it... it may take several attempts. If you cut the protector accurately then it ought to be possible to align the edge (I'd do the long edge) of the protector with the nano and then very carefully glide the protector over the nano and lightly press it down.
I applied a protector to my nano before doing anything else and have avoided any scratches.

    - Try a reset. Nothing is lost:
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    - Connect the iPod to your computer and try to restore via iTunes. Try placing in Recovery mode if necessary to restore.
    - If you can't turn the iPod completely off, let the batter fully drain. After charging for at lerast anhour try again
    - If still not successful time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have a Mac Pro 5.1 and after a power outage my usb ports on the back of the tower do not recognise the apple usb keyboard upon start up. If I leave the plug out and then insert the keyboard after start up it works fine. The same happens with the front usb ports. How do I fix this issue?

Resetting SMC as well as NVRAM could solve the problem.

Can I use more than one blue-tooth device at the same time on IPhone 4S? Like a wireless headsets and speed and cadence sensor for cycling computer, receive the data and listen music simultaneously

As long as the profiles are different (ex. HID vs AD2P) you will not have any issues. But say if you try to use 2 keyboards at once, it won't work. Or 2 headsets at once. Your scenario seems fine.

If you plug your phone into your computer you can sync and backup so that when you get the new phone you can restore from a backup instead of setting it up as a new iphone

Thanks Eric, but that was already turned on. I just now tried turning it off and on again, no change. Actually, I"m more interested in seeing the names than the pictures. I now only see the phone numbers and generic avatars where pics would be.

  • My 5c screen is separating from the backing

When I dropped my 5c the other day i noticed that the screen popped out from the backing on my phone and it "snapped" back in. And then I went to take my case off my phone and the screen is pulling away from the backing of my phone. it is strange and I have never had that with any of my other iphones. its almost like they are not attached.

    Keyword, "Dropped"
Sadly if it's peeling and you take it in for repair it'd be an out of warrenty abuse of the device repair, which is 269$ for replaceing the device.

You could connect a FireWire Blu-Ray drive and use non-Apple player software.

  • HT203671 What if I use a screen protector together with the keyboard top case?

Does a screen protector keep the screen from being damaged by a keyboard top case?
According to some saying, the screen could be damaged by any accessory between the keyboard and screen because there is a coating on the screen. Then anything between the keyboard and screen would hurt the coating the leave a scratch on the screen. So if I put a protector onto the screen, does it protect the coating from being hurt? Or does the back-adhesive protector itself hurt the coating (because it is adhesive)?

So I'm sure you're aware of this:
My Retina Display has stain damage, HELP!!!
So if you're aware of that then you know there is a total controversy about this problem.
"Does a screen protector keep the screen from being damaged by a keyboard top case?"
Some people there swear by them and some people say "anything between the keyboard and screen would hurt the coating"
So I would say "absolutely maybe!"
Sorry to be like that but we have so little information about this problem.
"does the back-adhesive protector itself hurt the coating (because it is adhesive)?"
I would say to avoid anything that has an adhesive on it. Some people have said that they cover their keyboard with a microfiber cloth but again I would say "this is purely anecdotal hearsay not based on science or actual testing."
I feel this problem is caused by outgassing of the keys or plastic in the computer.
If we knew more about the nature of the coating then maybe we'd have a course of action. I'd research the coating and see if there was a way to protect it.
    Good luck!
