"Could not connect to Bonjour: NSNetServices error-72000, domain 10

This is the message I get when attempting to login to iChat Bonjour services. Additionally, both my Airport Extreme and Express recently began blinking amber. I attempted both a soft reset/hard reset and reset the PRAM. None of this worked and now I have an inclination that it is Bonjour that is effecting the base stations. I am able to see both base stations in Airport Utility, but upon clicking one it will try to connect to the base station and configure it but it will spin forever. How do I fix Bonjour?

Here is the console log:

  • Have PC, Iphone and Ipad. IPhone synchs but IPad sync generates "could not connect to Iphone 0xE8000065" error (not Ipad!)

I have a PC, Iphone and Ipad. The IPhone synchs but an IPad sync generates a "could not connect to Iphone 0xE8000065" error!
It thinks I am syncing the Iphone again as opposed to the Ipad.
I rebooted both but Apple failed to sync the Ipad again.
    Thoughts?

I have been syncning fine until this so I was relcutant to believe anyhting need to be changed.
Howver I control - alt - deleted to get MS task manager and then disabled all Apple processes and then rebooted. I also renamed "Ipad" as Ipad1.
Not sure then which if either was responsible for the cure but it is now working.
Why do Microsoft and Apple find it so difficult to play together?

  • ITunes could not connect to the iPhone error 0xE8000025

When I try to connect my iPhone to iTunes, I get an error message that reads: "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone "Jana's iPhone" because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000025)"
I read that having the apostrophe in my iPhone name may be causing the trouble, but since I can't see the iPhone in iTunes, I don't know how to change the name (if this is indeed the solution). I have iTunes version 7.4.2. However, photos that I have on my iPhone have been able to be downloaded into iPhoto (version 7.1).
In the past, I have connected my iPhone to another computer and been able to sync everything without trouble.

I got exactly the same problem last night. I tried a couple of things but I think this is what finally sorted it.
I unplugged the iPhone, then rebooted by PC. I then opened iTunes. I then connected my iPhone USB cable to a different port (it was connected via a hub - I chose a port directly on my PC, and not the one that the hub was connected to). I then connected my iPhone and I was rockin and rollin.
    No problems since (fingers crossed).

  • "Could not connect to internet." error with 2.2 update

Ok, I updated my iPhone to 2.2 this morning. Ever since then, my internet access has been extremely spotty, and slow if I can get it at all. This only happens over my 3G connection (WiFi is not affected), and was not an issue this morning on the 2.1 version of my phone. I've restarted and reset the phone to no avail.
Any help in resolving this would really be helpful!

Add me to the list of people with internet connection problem with 3G after updating to firmware 2.2. In safari, under 3G a website would just load forever, sometimes showing the "cannot contact server" message. Under Wi-Fi and Edge, everything works fine. I have a white 16gb iphone 3G. I also updated my wife's white 16gb iphone 3G to firmware 2.2, and her phone does not have the same internet connection problem under 3G, everything seems to be working fine so far. Also spoke with a friend who also has a white 16gb 3G iphone and still using firmware 2.1. He mentioned that he's also been seeing more the the "cannot contact server" message with his safari under 3G. Maybe this is a AT&T problem?

  • ITunes could not connect to the iTunes Store "Error Message"

I recently added iTunes 7.6 to my Windows XP operating system at the same time when I added an *Ion USB Turntable (TTUSB).* I currently have the 80G iPod with the larger video screen. I added in the supplied software of the EZ Vinyl Converter. The software reads from Gracenote and imports into iTunes okay. But now my PC cannot access the iTunes store to buy songs, read the tracks on the discs, or display new album artwork. The diagnostic read the network connectivety test, the CD/DVD drive, and iPod connectivity tests all read okay. I followed the directions on checking the network settings under the Internet Options Tool "Connections" Lan Settings and the Automatic detection and still no dice. All I get is "Make sure your network is active."
    Can anybody help out their?

I'm seeing this error on some, but not all, of my Windows XP machines. On my personal development XP box, I see this error if iTunes is closed when I try and access iTunes U via my transfer script or Stanford's.
"iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. The network connection was terminated unexpectedly. Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
The errors occured in IE 7 Beta, Firefox 1.5.x, and Firefox 2 Beta. In each case, iTunes U loaded after I clicked the 'ok' button in iTunes. I did notice that in Firefox's case an additional pop-up window appeared that asked whether or not I had iTunes; when I selected that I do have itunes, it transfered me to iTunes but generated the error.
After getting these errors on my Windows XP machine, I tried it on two different lab machines running Windows XP, and didn't get the error message once -- I tried it in IE 6, Firefox 1.0.x and Firefox 1.5.x and they all worked. It even worked with IE 7 Beta and Vista Beta.
Based on this, I think the problem must lie in how Windows registered iTunes, and the handshake just isn't happening properly.

  • Can't connect to Time Capsule. Error: Could not connect to the disk. Make sure NetBIOS is enabled and try again (53).

I have a Time Capsule that I've been using for a while now. I've got a Windows 8 PC and a few MacBooks that I use with it.
Recently, I had to hard-reset my Windows 8 PC (with the reset button while everything was locked up). When it came back, I couldn't connect to my Time Capsule anymore. I get the error message: "Could not connect to the disk. Make sure NetBIOS is enabled and try again (53)."
    I've tried:
Checking on the NetBIOS service to ensure that it's running
Explicitly enabling NetBIOS on the Internet connection
Renaming my Time Capusle to have no spaces or disallowed characters
Pinging both the Time Capsule's name and IP address (both respond)
    Any suggestions?

Do you have bonjour installed? If not I recommend you install the full apple airport utilities for windows.. although only win7 is available.. it does install in win8. Apple btw need to do some work on making windows access current.
In windows explorer, simply type the address to the TC in the address bar.
    \\TCname or \\TCipaddress
If it fails.. turn off firewall and ensure the PC is located at home..as opposed to work or public. A windows PC can go stupid and think it is suddenly in a new environment for no apparent reason. Your reset might do exactly such a thing.
If you still have issues.. are you getting full internet access ok?
Can you open the airport utility in windows and find the TC? If so go to the file sharing page and turn on the guest account to read and write access. This helps loads.. and make sure the workgroup is set to WORKGROUP.

Hello i'm facing  problem  i downloaded itunes version 11 32bit for windows 7 and after i installing the set up when i opened the iTunes a massages  occur saying i tunes could not connect to iTunes store an unknown error occurred (-3212) even  though my internet is on

    Try this...
Triple click anywhere in the line below to select it and press Ctrl+C to copy it.
    cmd /k netsh winsock reset
Press the WinLogoKey+R to open the run dialog, then Ctrl+V to paste, then press enter/return.
You should get something similar to this:
Reboot the computer and the problem should be resolved.
If it doesn't work then perhaps a full tear down and rebuild of iTunes will fix things. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for details.

  • Can somebody help me in finding a solution or an explanation to the problem I am currently experiencing as well as others wherein we cannot connect to the iTunes store (iTunes could not connect to the store. An unknown error occurred (0x80096004))?

Can somebody help me in finding a solution or an explanation to the problem I am currently experiencing as well as others wherein we cannot connect to the iTunes store. An error message appears and either says "iTunes could not connect to the store. An unknown error occurred (0x80096004). Make sure your network connection is active and try again" or "iTunes could not connect to the store.Make sure your network connection is active and try again." Despite the fact that my network connection is working quite fine, this problem still persists. I can say that my connection is fine because I can surf the internet and furthermore, I used to connect to the iTunes store just before this incident happened which started from April 17, 2014 and persists until today. I tried to solve the problem by following the troubleshoot procedures given in the support section of this site but it really did not solve the problem. I believe that others are experiencing this situation as well very similar to mine when it comes to the time of occurrence as I have read in the discussions in this site. Even though we have different network connections, operating systems and other specifications, we still experience the same problem, so is there really a problem with our computers or is it with the iTunes? And by the way, my computer works under Windows XP. Thanks a lot. God bless.

  • Officejet 6700 error while searching for updates: 'Printer could not connect to server'

I recently purchase the Officejet 6700 Premium. While setting the printer up, I received the error 'The printer could not connect to the server.' I first received this while the printer was searching for updates. I later received the same error while trying to set up ePrint from my computer.
The printer is connected through my wireless router. All other print services function normally. It is connected to the network, and I have printed several times over the wireless network.
Though I don't think it matters, since the on-board print set-up gave me the error, I run Windows 7 64-bit on my computer.
    Thanks for any help!

What is the IP address of the printer?  What is the make and model of the router that you use in the wireless set up? Is the router firmware up to date?
I would first try power cycling the router and the printer. Turn off/unplug the router and then power down the printer. Then plug the router back in and wait for it to be fully up and functioning before turning the printer back on.  After you have both pieces of equipment back on and functioning attempt to connect to web services again.
If still having problems I would attempt to set a static DNS on the printer through the embedded web server (EWS) by entering the printer's IP address into the address bar of  a browser on a computer.
Once that computer displays that page click on the Network tab.
Then look in the column to the left and find the Wireless section
    Click on IPv4
Then on that page look at the 2nd section that is labeled DNS Address configuration
Change the radio button to the manual option
Then for the manual preferred fill it out and make sure it reads 8.8.8.8
Secondary should be set to 8.8.4.4
    Then hit Apply
Read the next screen carefully. That message with the "OK" button below it  is one that states to click that button to undo the changes you  just made.  Just navigate away from that page by clicking on another tab.
Then reattempt to connect to web services.
