Could not connect to phone error
I am using PC suite 6.85.14.1 and BlueSoleil 5.0.5.178 on my Windows Vista PC. I have pair my 6300 and 6021 with the software and can syncronise with either phone with my PC.
However that is all I can do! All other software feature backup,contacts etc give a "could not connect to phone" error. Any suggestions?

"iTunes Could Not Connect to iPod" Error Message
Yes I know this has been posted many times before, but I am at a loss here, and I really need help.
So I follow the steps I need to do to "Restore" my iPod touch (i have the 32 gig - 2nd gen) and then I see the apple logo appear. It stays that way for a long time, then nothing happens.
I re-open itunes and I still get the error message that iTunes could not connect to iPod.
So, what do I do then? This is why I hate doing updates in my iPod, it just messes up everything.
This after I just did an update on my iPod also - 4.2.Have you tried placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restoring? See:

I am getting the Could Not Connect To AIM msg whenever i try to log on to ichat. My flatmate who has an account on this G4 powerbook, is not having the same problems...I've gone into his account and it's all up and running, but when i log back into mine, i get said message...

Any other tips?

After 2.0 Update "iTunes could not connect iPod error (0xE8000001)?
I've downloaded the 2.0 update for my iTouch... after the installer had finished its work it alerted me that the iTouch was rebooting and would appear in iTunes. However, I got this error message instead:
"iTunes could not connect iPod unknown error occured (0xE8000001)". I'm not sure if I should disconnect the USB or not.. or what is going on. Any suggestions?

unfortunately i lost all my info on my touch when doing this, but I can dedicate some time tonight to resetting my wallpaper, my mail settings, etc.
i think the 'DFU' in these instructions means device firmware upgrade...found this on another forum where people complaining of same problem...
1. Hold both the home and power buttons until the device turns off
2. EXACTLY one second after the iPod turns off, release the sleep/wake button, holding the home button still ( the apple logo SHOULD NOT BE ON ).
3. In about 20 seconds, you will see your iPod appear in iTunes, but the screen on your iPod will still be off. You are now in DFU mode.
4. RELEASE the home button as soon as your iPod appears iTunes. If you fail to do so, your iPod will simply go back into recovery mode.
yo Apple - please roll out some info on this 'known issue'; While $9.95 isn't a budget-breaker, if you have to figure out how to make that $9.95 work on your Apple device like it appears some of us are, it speaks to posting something in Support about it - thanks! -
Could Not Connect to Voicemail
Hey all,
When I try to view my voicemail, I get a "Could not connect to voicemail" error. When I call my own number from my phone, it rings busy instead of going to voicemail. I've rebooted/reset the phone. Is there a way to reset voicemail, or something?

1. Go to Settings-Turn Airport Mode on for 30 seconds, Then turn off, and retest voicemail
2.Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings, Retest Voicemail
As far as resetting voicemail. Please call AT&T or Log onto your AT&T Wireless account online.
You can reach AT&T at 1-800-331-0500 and inform them you have an issue with your Voicemail not connecting. They can help assist with resetting voicemail password if needed and any other settings regarding voicemail.
As a last resort you can also restore the iPhone. But ensure you backup all your data and ensure your using the PC and or Mac that originally synced over your info to the iPhone. -
My iphone 3gs will no longer let me try passcodes and it only says "Iphone is disabled connect to itunes" well, when I connect it to my laptop, itunes says "could not connect to phone because it is locked with a passcode. you must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes" Please help!!! I have tried resetting it and all the tricks I know. Nothing works. Thanks

I have installed HRMS91 and Tools 8.50 on a win server 2003.
I'm applying 85005-psca.zip patch. In read me it is said :
• Shut down PIA by running the stopPIA.cmd (or stopPIA.sh on Unix).
In configuration.properties I have :
hubURL=http://%HUB_MACHINE_NAME%:%HUB_PORT%/PSEMHUB/hub
But physicaly the path is :
E:\Psft\HRMS91\webserv\peoplesoft\applications\peoplesoft\PSEMHUB.war
and hub folder does not existe.
And I receive this error :

About a month ago I could no longer connect to the internet on our PC. Every time I clicked on the Firefox icon the Netscape sign-on window would pop up. I would try to close it but it would pop up over and over again. If I tried to close it a dozen or so times eventually Firefox would open up but it would never connect. Just today I moved my Netscape file to the recycle bin. No longer does the Netscape sign-on window pop up but following Network Connection error message pops up: "Error 623: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection".. This error window behaves the same way the Netscape sign-on window used to behave. Every time I click to close it it pops open again. After numerous clicks Firefox opens up but it never connects.
Do you have this error message on a Mac computer or on a Windows computer?
I've only seen this error mentioned on a Windows computer.

Ikeep getting this error when I attach the new phone. After it would not work I did a Icloud back up of my old phone and restored it on the new phone, but I have other music and apps on my Itunes that I would like the option to sync and I like to be able to backup my phone on my Mac. What do I need to do to get the new phone attached back to this itunes?

Recieved this error while syncing the IPod classic, however, the IPhone was not connected to the computer, was no where near the computer.
In addition, I had earlier in the day the following error message as well: ITunes could not connect to the IPone "Merci's IPone" because an invalid response was received from the device." In this situation, again the IPod classic was syncying music, and the phone was not even in the house.
The day previously, I had the following error as well: ITunes could not connect to the IPone because of unknown error occurred (0XE80002D).
When I called Apple Support, the first person could not find a response or answer to fix or give a reason why this is happening, since he said the last error is normally resulting from when the cable has a connection problem; well the IPhone was never connected to the computer--the IPod Classic was during these incidents. When a senior advisor came on line, he wanted me to reboot my computer, but I was still in the middle of the IPod Sync of music so that could not happen. Which his answer was, well then call back and talk with a apple support person when it completes--my thought was if the first person couldn't figure it out and required a senior advisor, what is going to happen when I call back--I repeat myself and wait and repeat myself again to another senior advisor and then do some archaic steps to discover they don't know what is wrong? I am waiting on a few other problems they haven't figured out yet. I am a new Apple user and have had nothing but problems with Apple IPhone, IPad and guess IPod Classic all which I purchased with high recommendations that Apple is better than windows products and Android products. I am wondering what the **** I got myself into?
Can anyone help me? It is getting frustrating that Apple can not seem to help with any of the situations I seem to be having!
Thanks in advance.I have had this same issue with my iPhone 4 since iOS 5 was released. None of the updates has fixed it yet. I'm using Windows 7 Pro (64 bit), and iTunes 10.5.3 I am not encrypting my backups. I do have my phone set to passcode lock after 1 hour. When I have enabled WiFi sync in iTunes, I get the error message described in this thread at least once every day. In the morning, when I first open iTunes, I will have to click this window sometimes 8 to 10 times to get it to finally dismiss and begin the sync process.
It's apparent that iTunes is hung up whenever this message is present. It's not downloading podcasts during the night, or performing the WiFi sync while my phone is charging in the other room. Nothing works until I sit in front of iTunes and click off the error message. If I am required to do that in order to get the phone to update, I should just plug it in and disable the WiFi sync hassles until/if it ever gets fixed. -

Hi,
Today there was a connection error with WhatsApp. I needed to send something, so decided to delete and then reinstall the app to try and attempt to fix the connection problem. I am using the iPhone 5C.
Once I redownloaded the app, I opened it and the app asked me for my phone number. I typed it in.
But to my surprise, I got this error:
Could not connect to WhatsApp service. Please try again later.
After several attempts of writing my phone number (100% in the correct format) I had found no luck or success.
Anyone else having this error, or is it just me? Please provide some steps on how to fix this if so!

1. Restart your iPhone.
2. Open WhatsApp.
3. Enter your phone number.
4. Enter verification code (if you're a new member) or just click 'Next' if you're a returning user.
5. Done! All your contacts should be there and your chats (as long as you backed them up).
P.S. This only applies to people who redownloaded and are stuck on phone verification page. -
