i have a problem.can anyone make a solution?
i have installed oracle 10g in vista os.when i tried to open the enteprise manager the page is loaded,i have entered the credentials.log in was successful.but the
1.status of the database is shown as startup/shutdown
2.status pending since unavailable.
when i tried to startuo the system i provided the host credentials and database credential, then it is shown that "couldnot contact the agent.verify that the url for the agent is null".
how could i solve it.
moreover when i tried with command prompt the error is that emctl doesnt start.system 5 error occured.access denied.

I believe currently you are using database control. If so, can you please check emagent.trc and emoms.trc files from ORACLE_HOME/host_sid/sysman/log folder.
Also what is the value for EMD_URL in ORACLE_HOME/host_sid/sysman/config/emd.properties file.

I am using R12 applications.
I get this error 'Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel:null' in the output file of the bursting concurrent program.
The smtp server name the ids the mail id and all other things are fine in the bursting file since i have hard coded them.
I have also telnet <smtp server name> 25 frm command prompt and it worked fine.
I don't know why i am facing this issue.

Getting Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel:null

Hi All,
I have an XML Bursting program wherein I have given the output type as pdf.
But as soon as I change the output type to Excel, I get the error - Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel:null
Can anyone please advise me what could be the possible reason for this Error and how can I resolve the same.

Bursting Control file, Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery

Hi,
I am using bursting control file to send report output to email in R12.1.3.
If the report output is having data, it is working fine. if there is no data it is getting errored out with the below message.
"Error!! Could not deliver the output for Delivery channel:null "
In the report output i put "No data found", when i click on view output the output in application is showing as "NO DATA FOUND" in PDF .
"Bursting VMC Approved Purchase Orders for a period (XML Publisher Report Bursting Program)" got above error.
my requirement is if there is no data, still i require the output to email.

Try the following:
Uninstall iTunes and Quicktime
Reboot
in the task tray right click the quicktime icon and click exit.
navigate to the folder in program files and remove the quicktime directory and all its files.
Reboot.
Now try install iTunes and quicktime and it should work

At what point in the process are you getting this message? Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of the iTunes setup file from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ ?
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

HELP!
I have not been able to update my Itunes to a newer version (since 6.0.5). Every time I try to upgrade to the newer version I get this error message when I try to install:

This is been incredibly frustrating because now I am limited in what songs and albums I can buy online because they require the newer version. I am getting to the point where i'm ready to start using another service to get my music from now on. I've noticed that others here have the same error message, but they are using Windows Vista. I'm having this problem on Windows XP.

Oh sorry what i meant was that i am trying to install adobe reader, i have tried all version from 8 to 9 and i am getting this error.The solution that i found on different forum was to use windows installer cleanup utility and clean up the previous installation. i dont have any installation in my registry.

I purchased and downloaded Acrobat Pro XI. After the pop-up requesting the language I got a message "The installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists..."

OK, I got around this error by extracting the files to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe Acrobat XI"
Now I get a different error "1325.kstanwood is not a valid short file name". I'm not certain why it's even trying to create such a file name.

download and install "right click take ownership"

locate the adobe folder inside the programdata folder, mine was located at "C:\programdata\Adobe"
right click the adobe folder, and take ownership of the folder.
Don't know if this will fix other peoples problems, but it fixed mine.
