Could not create diskarb or authorization session
My powerbook g4 has been running fine on Tiger through all the updates including 10.4.4. When I ran software update to go to 10.4.5 (without interruption). After restarting it booted into Darwin asking for a login. I entered the correct login info, and an error pops up quickly and then goes to blue screen and does nothing..
I decided it was time for a wipe, and erased the drive using disk utility, writing all zeros.. I reinstalled 10.4 and it starts up fine. 10.4.4 I installed via firewire from another mac, which installed and ran fine, except that Disk Copy was somehow broken and wouldn't expand .dmg files..
I then archived and installed again, back to 10.4. Works fine.
I downloaded and installed the combo updater and then get booted back into Darwin.
I get an error message, which says that 'login is incorrect' and something about mdimportserver[123], and "could not create diskarb or authorization session."
Starting up with option key down, it will show me the local drive or the OS X install disk as options. It won't start up in Safe Mode.. It just sits at the initial grey apple. I can start the powerbook in target mode, but when trying to option-start my iMac, with the powerbook connected via firewire, my iMac does not ever see the powerbook as a startup drive. I can mount the powerbook as a firewire drive on my iMac though.
Disk Utility says everything is fine with the disc and permissions.. I have repaired permissions before and after each installation, where possible.
Can anyone help?
I think so, as Disk Warrior is saying there are problems with the Volume Structure. I've attempted repairing it once already, which after all night appeared to be frozen near the end.
I set it to repair again, before leaving for work and will check again when I get home..
I only wiped with all zeros though, after having the trouble simply upgrading from 10.4.4 to 10.4.5. I 'thought' (stupid me?) that wiping all zeros would make it nice and clean again.
Disk Utility says it's fine though. I'm amazed.

Could not create/access the TopLink Session.While invoking OSB proxy.
Hi,
While testing an OSB proxy ,which uses a multi datasource to connect to a remote database, from the sbconsole.I am getting exceptions and it is not able to create/access the TopLink Session.
I have checked the multi datasource jndi name ,which is correct.
The stack trace which I am getting while invoking the service is posted below:

Looking forward for your help.
Thanks a lot in advance.
SumitHave you created XA data source? If yes then make sure that in connection factory you are assigning the JNDI name of data-source in XAdataSource property (NOT in datasource property). Also make sure that your datasource is up and running and you are updating the dbadapter after creating connection factory.

We are getting the below error in our production server & also other servers(UAT, Staging). Only option is to restart the OSB server.
Test connection is working fine and able to connect the database without any issue. We have enabled connection leak profiling and also, provided the inactive time outs , still does not work. Need your suggestion for the below error.

You may need to configure the connection settings in the deployment descriptor (i.e. DbAdapter.rar#META-INF/weblogic-ra.xml) and restart the server. This exception is considered retriable, likely due to a communication failure. To classify it as non-retriable instead add property nonRetriableErrorCodes with value "0" to your deployment descriptor (i.e. weblogic-ra.xml). To auto retry a retriable fault set these composite.xml properties for this invoke: jca.retry.interval, jca.retry.count, and jca.retry.backoff. All properties are integers.

Though the message says the error is in obtaining a TopLink session, the exception stack has nothing to do with TopLink, and the error seems to be coming from oracle.tip.adapter.db.toplinkext.NameEnquoter.init() directly calling weblogic.jdbc.wrapper.Connection.getMetaData() on what must be a stale or closed connection. This looks like a DB adapter application, so you might want to post this question there as they might be able to help configure your datasource appropriately for the application.

"Could not create SSOToken" error while setting agent for SSO
Hello,
I configured my agent as follows:
Version: 3.0
Build Date: 20071212
Application Server Config Directory : C:\Sun\SDK\domains\domain1\config
Application Server Instance name : server
Access Manager URL : http://juno:6140/opensso
Domain Administration Server Host is remote : false
Agent URL : http://juno:8080
Deployment URI for the Agent Application : /agentapp
Encryption Key : J+KQLOM+s6gAQb1Y1H8uJoej3bzKBAEN
Agent Profile name : asagent
Agent Profile Password file name : c:\temp\password.TXT
Agent installed on the DAS host for a remote instance : false
The AM and the sample applications are both running on separate domains.
Following steps I performed:
1. I started my SSO domain (domain2) first and then the application domain where my agent is installed (domain1).
2. I deployed the agentsample.ear file after compilation through build.xml file
When I try to access the URL (http://localhost:8080/agentsample/index.html), it throw the following exception (recorded in amSSO log file located in the Agent_001

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Could not create pool connection with MySql
When starting weblogic server I obtain the following error message when the conection
pool for a MySql database should be established. What's the mistake I am doing? #The
examples in the weblogic.properties put a "server=DEMO to the props. What is this
server related to the MySql RDBMS? Is it mandatory? After the error message produced
by Weblogic you'll find some information about the MySql setup (my.ini) I have made.

Javax ejb CreateException: Could not create stateless EJB
Hi,
I have a JavaEE (EJB3.0) project deployed on glassfish2.1 as -.ear (exported from eclipse3.4 to the autodeploy-folder) with -.ejb.jar, -.webui.war, general-lib-base.jar (some other...)
The session bean is invoked by a jsf-managed bean. Have a pure annotation +@ejb+ in managed bean (identifiing the ejb-interface (+@Remote+) ...the ejb is annotated with +@stateless+
get the following error message:
*...nested exception is: javax.ejb.CreateException: Could not create stateless EJB*
as beginner in the JavaEE-field I'm looking for some help concerning the possible causes.
thank's for any comment...
(also posted in the Enterprise JavaBeans-forum possibly better there)problem fixed: in the deployment-descriptor ejb-jar.xml a spezification of the session-bean hung around ...very annoying!

Could not create remote for an EJB
Hello,
We have deployed an App on Sun One 7 that has web as well ejb modules integarted into it. The app deploys properly, However as soon as I try to call a servlet which in turn looks up an EJB (say ClientBean ) it gives me the followign error --->
"Could not create remote for Client Bean"
The entries in the xml files are as follows -
1) In ejb-jar.xml -
<session>
<ejb-name>EUClientBean</ejb-name>
<home>com..ejb.EUClientHomeIF</home>
<remote>com..ejb.EUClientRemoteIF</remote>
<ejb-class>com.ejb.EUClsClientBean</ejb-class>
<session-type>Stateless</session-type>
<transaction-type>Container</transaction-type>
<resource-ref>
<description>database ref</description>
<res-ref-name>test/db</res-ref-name>
<res-type>javax.sql.DataSource</res-type>
<res-auth>Container</res-auth>
</resource-ref>
</session>
2) in sun-ejb-jar.xml --
<ejb>
<ejb-name>EUClientBean</ejb-name>
<jndi-name>ejb/EUClientBean</jndi-name>
<ejb-ref>
<resource-ref>
<res-ref-name>test/db</res-ref-name>
<jndi-name>jdbc/test/db</jndi-name></resource-ref>
<pass-by-reference>true</pass-by-reference>
<bean-pool>
<pool-idle-timeout-in-seconds>0</pool-idle-timeout-in-seconds></bean-pool>
</ejb>
3) In sun-web.xml -
<ejb-ref>
<ejb-ref-name>ejb/test/client</ejb-ref-name>
<jndi-name>ejb/EUClientBean</jndi-name>
</ejb-ref>
4) In web.xml --
<ejb-ref>
<ejb-ref-name>ejb/test/client</ejb-ref-name>
<ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
<home>com.ejb.EUClientHomeIF</home>
<remote>com.ejb.EUClientRemoteIF</remote>
<ejb-link>EUClientBean</ejb-link>
</ejb-ref>
Actually the same app was working on IAS 6.5.
Any ideas what cud have gone wrong?Hi Mandar,
Can you post the exception you're getting in your servlet code? Does it happen when the servlet is looking up the ejb or when it tries to create it?
Regards,
Ken -
Could not create JCOClient Connection
I am seeing the issues that are common, as pointed out in these threads:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=%22couldnotcreate+JCOClientConnection%22&adv=false&sortby=sdn_updated_on&sortmode=descending
But I have increased the pool to 100 and connectino max to 200 in my 2 JCos (transactional and metadata). The transactional RFC uses ticket, and we have the tickets configured on the back end. The metadata uses a hard coded user with full rights.
When I run the web dynpro, I get a series of the JCO Errors:
Could not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: 'SAPERP_MODELDATA' - Model: 'class com.sap.bb.va02_bb.model_gen_func.Gen_Func'
When I change the ticket user in the transactional RFC to my hard coded user, there are no problems. Yet, the ticket tests good on the back end in the JCO Maintenance screen, and I used my account in both tests, so my personal authorizations on the back end are valid. Could the ticket be expriring too soon? How can I check this?Can you connect to that DBMS using that driver, from a simple standlalone

"Page could not create the iview" - Error
Hi All,
I have a customized portal masthead par file.
I used a specific computer for development.
When I deploy the project from this computer to the portal, everything is fine, but when I copy/export the par and try to deploy it from other computers (other NWDS to be exact) I get:
"Component Name: null"
"Page could not create the iview"
The Portal's version is EP6 SP15.
All the NWDS I tried is also SP15.
java version on development computers is:
'j2sdk1.4.2_06'.
I compared my portalapp.xml on different computers but the is the same.
See my portalapp.xml file:

Please advice.
Thanks,
OmriHi Omri,
Harini gave the right solution.
I just want add a small detail:
The par file is actually a zip file.
The simplest way to "open" it (as Harini suggested) is to change its extention to ".zip" and open it with winzip.

Rajneesh -
I tried to update to IPad 5.1, but when it finished and tried to restore the backup, it shows me that Itunes could not back up because a session could not be started with iPad. need your help please
This has happened to me a couple of times and what I do is quit iTunes and restart my Mac and then try again and then it will work.
If iTunes has already created the backup, you should still be able to restore from the backup when you are connected to iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side of iTunes and select restore from backup. After the process completes, sync with iTunes to transfer all of your apps, music, photos and other media back onto the iPad. -
Page could not create the iview
Hello Everyone.
I'm having a very strange problem, we are currently running an ESS system based in WebDynpro and SAP Portal, with custom made WebDynpro Applications. We regularly have around a hundred users logged on the system. Every now and then, some of the users report that they get an error when trying to use an application, the error is in spanish so I cant post it here directly but it basically says:
Portal runtime error.
Component Name: null
Page could not create the iView
What bothers me the most, is that this problem is not constant. It happens some times, and when you log out and log in several times it ends up disappearing.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?
PS. I only found one thread (/thread/179741 [original link is broken]) thats appears to have the same problem. However my apps work fine most of the time, so I dont feel its the same situation.Hello Again.
I followed your advice and found the following entries related to the problem:
1.- First was this log entry:
No WorkAreaData found in POM
2.- Inmediately after is the following entry:
cannot retrieve title from iView pcd:portal_content/com.inelectra.folder.ine/com.inelectra.roles/com.inelectra.autogestion/com.inelectra.Autogestion/com.inelectra.Solicitudes/com.inelectra.anticipoprestaciones/com.inelectra.java_local_Anticipo_Prestaciones_com_inelectra_anticipoprest_Anticipo_Prestacion

"MMC could not create the snap in.The Snap in might not have been instaled
Hi ,
After completed installation of NWDS SP 14 version and after system
restart,our local server is not working its showing an error.
"MMC could not create the snap in.The Snap in might not have been
installed correctly."
SAP Logon is also now working in my system. NWDS is not properly installed i
think.
Actually on that day gui also i have installed on our local server.
but when i login through <sidadm> server showing tree & also i am able to start server.
but i am not able to uninstall & install any gui or nwds...
what to do.....Hi,
MMC is not specific to GUI or MWDS. It is a management tool to start/stop server. It has nothing to do with GUI or NWDS.
1) Login with admin account (windows admin account, say sidadm) and check if MMC loads the tree with nodes for server instances. If so, use that and start server.
2) If required, check with authorizations for the windows account
3) If nothing works, then check these threads.

Could not create task file tmp/sapinst_instdir/.../SAPREPOS.TSK
Anyone with the similar problem? Solution?
Best regards,
Igor KokaiHello:
I do not know exactly what of the following elements contributed to fix the problem, but
following is the list of changes we did in a 3rd try to install R/3 on Sun Solaris.
1. Get latest SAPINST.
2. Use a different installation directory, which is permitted by the use os a new SAPINST. We used something outside /tmp, which is used by default by the SAPINST that comes with the CDs.
3. Delete the whole installation and start again, because by just using SAPINST in the middle of the installation, the problem was not fixed.
4. Change the SID from DEN to DE1.
5. There was an answer in sdn about the problem telling a linux user to use another environment variable that was for HP-UX, but since it was suggested for them, we took it, just in case. That was also done in the middle of the installation when the problem was happening, but did not fix the problem.
6. We did not install the oracle patch 9.2.0.7 because the patch is the one that looks for a bunch of sun patches, that although we already had them, since the error we were getting was oracle related, it was decided not to do that for now.
7. Smile and go ahead without desperation.
Regards,
Juan

We have or music library saved to the shared folder so all of the users in the family can access the music. However, only the original user can make changes (change genre, mark don't include in shuffle, etc.). Is this by design, or should everyone be
